We love the recent breakfast specials here. The Nihari is delicious and the best part is the freshly made naan. It also comes with chai. Priyanka at the front counter is friendly and always smiling.

Delicious food , above and beyond . The boneless chicken biryani was amazing full of flavour not too spicy just the way it should be (most places make the biryani so spicy that people can’t enjoy it ) the chicken was moist and juicy . My friends and I have visited this place multiple times! We all order a different dish and end up sharing! The prices were not too bad, especially since they would give a large enough portion (pre covid) that could be shared with others! Post covid, the portion size decreased but it makes sense due to rise in costs everywhere. I have been going to La Sani for a while now and I can definitely say that its one of the best places I have been to. This place is great for nearby companies to hit up during lunch time. Their lunch deals are great, for 10 bucks you can get a large dish with a drink on the side. The food itself was delicious and I really like the restaurant. Everything was clean, the seating area was nice and comfortable. I had a great lunch with my colleagues and enjoyed the overall experience.

I've tried their chicken pakora before, that dish was disappointing. When I try a new place out I usually give it a couple tries before making a final decision. I'm VERY glad I came back.

I haven't been here in so long, mostly due to Covid. Seemed like we were the only ones there. I'll start off with the customer service, not the best, but I guess manageable. Just could have been more helpful and friendly. The food was okay. The nihari was very watery so didn't taste good. The palak paneer was very tasty though. The thing that bothered me the most was that the glasses were dirty. Even the new set was dirty. I think someone needs to do a better job with that. Overall, their food is usually good. I wanted to try something different from the butter chicken today. So I went with the nihari. But I've had better. The Naan was super good. And I do like that they gave extra raita and napkins when I asked. Overall I would go back to this place and just not drink out of their glasses. Location wise, lots of parking. And in a plaza with plenty of other dessert options. La sani sells kheer but since there were no pistachios I decided to pass. There is a dspot and chatime for desserts and drinks in the same plaza which was nice.

We decided on Lamb Karahi (which comes with a naan, salad, and mint sauce) and Chicken Tikka Tandoori (which comes with rice, a naan, salad, and mint sauce). Our server was a pleasant and humble young lady. She made us feel much more welcome than we had initially felt with her positive attitude. The portions of food that we were served were decent sized. We enjoyed the Lamb Karahi with the Rogani Naans. They were both well cooked. The rice was also good. However, the Chicken Tikka Tandoori (which is described as half chicken with bone marinated overnight in herbs and spices cooked in traditional tandoori style to perfection) was neither properly marinated nor cooked to perfection. It looked good but was raw in certain areas and dry in others. We had to pack it up and bring it home to recook it. The restaurant is spacious and the washrooms are clean.

They have a great lunch deal till four everyday! Food is really good and you get large portions. Always leftover to take home. You get more when you order in and take home what’s left than ordering takeout.

Chris and I had lunch today at La Sani Grill on Ellesmere and Markham Road. Chris had the butter chicken, I had the Chicken Roast, served with basmati rice and salad (Spicy. Described in the menu: "Half chicken with bone marinated overnight in fresh herbs and authentic spices. Roasted to perfection then grilled to enhance the flavors"). Well I couldn't add to that except to say I love it. The butter chicken served with naan was described in the menu: "Tender chicken breast marinated overnight in a yogurt and spice mixture. Cooked in specially prepared makhni sauce and garnished with white butter, fresh cream, sliced green chilies and crushed fenugreek leaves", just the way I like it! Overall experience with these two dishes...oh me oh my, wow!

Ordered 1. Anda Paratha - 4.5/5 2. Nihari with Naan - 1/5. 1 is due to naan 3. Chikkar chowlay with Naan 4.5/5 Nihari’s gravy needs to be thick. What we received was quite watery. Din taste too good either. On other hand Anda Paratha is very good. When it comes to Chikkar Chowlay, the name is incorrect. Chikkar chowlay has very thick to no gravy. However, the chowlay tasted a lot different from other restaurants in GTA. Perfect reminder of back home Chowlay’s. Perhaps they should be relabeled to Chowlay or charsi chowlay. Then again Sweet Lassi was delicious and the tea is really a treat. With exception of Nihari everything was outstanding and worth recommendation.

It was my first time trying Pakistani food and I can say it was good. I ordered their lunch specials which is the Chicken Tika Boti. The food was good and I am surprised because they have big serving. However, I just don’t like their sauce because it’s too watery. Maybe they can improve that. The service was good. She is very hands on and the waiting time is around 5-10 min. The only downside is that they only accept cash (it says on their machine but you can try asking them if they can try card because mine was accepted.). The store itself was big and clean. It has also good ambience. For the parking, they have free parking outside of their store.

We just happen to come here since I picked up here for food delivery for a customer since I courier food for Skip the Dishes. It caught my eye, since I have been craving Chicken Biryani..and was wondering where my wife and I could go to satisfy that craving. We aren't experts for Pakistani/Indian cuisine by any means. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Tandoori and the Boneless Chicken Biryani. We fully enjoyed both and we were stuffed by the end of the meal. We also had quite a bit leftover for take home. Lots of chicken chunks in the chicken biryani dish. The only thing that sorta bugged me is the Chicken Tikka Tandoori. What we received didn't match the product shot at all. Was supposed to be served on a rectangular type dish with 4 pieces of chicken, decent portion of basmati rice and some salad. The salad is kinda weak in presentation. We ended up with a circular plate with only 2 pieces of chicken + the rice and salad. The mint sauce and the single naan received were good. I even got extra mint sauce for take home to add to the chicken biryani dish. We'll definitely be back for the chicken biryani dish and try some of the other chicken based dish offerings.

A new location opened in Lawrence East and Brimley. They had a promotion from Friday-Sunday. The naan is what I was given on the last day. The containers speak for themselves (first day of promotion vs last day). I paid the same price both times. Don’t get me wrong, their service was great, the people were nice, the food was really good. But I feel ripped off due to this and I’m not happy about it.

Just another Indian/Pakistani establishment with decent service. We came for a big party so they brought the food to us as we occupied the whole back room. The food is the standard tandoori stuff, kababs, biriyani, etc. Overall decent but not too exceptional.

This was a delicious meal! -------- 2000 It's been a while since I've been to La Sani Grill but I had a craving for butter chicken that needed to be satisfied. It seemed like I was the only customer dining in but they were preparing quite a few orders for pickup. I ordered the Butter Chicken, served with naan. It was creamy and delicious as I remembered it but there was a lot more sauce than chicken. I don't remember it being like that. Although tasty, this might not have been such a good value.

I used to frequent this location all the time between 2019-2023 and every experience with dine in and UberEats was amazing but a recent dine in experience here wasn’t the best. I came with my husband for lunch and upon arriving, the woman behind the counter looked like she DID NOT want to be there. Her demeanour was cold and unfriendly. We are from the Caribbean and asked questions about the dishes there and she was very stand-offish to us. The food we ordered was overall good - large portions, came hot as it was just prepared but for ‘boneless chicken biryani’ I got a few bones in it and multiple pieces of cartilage in my order. I love this type of cuisine so we will visit again and see how it goes.

I was big fan of La Sani but last night experience was not so great. Went there ordered butter chicken,naan and chicken kabab sizzler. My food came after 40 minutes. People who came after us got their food before us. Food quality and service got low significantly. Naan was very thick, gravy was like eating tomato ketchup. I ordered a large chicken biryani platter today, last minute, about 30 minutes before I went to pick it up. I called ahead and was told it was fine to come in that quickly, and that they'd have the food ready. However, once I got home and started serving the biryani at my event, some guests immediately noticed a strange smell. Upon further inspection, we realized that part of the biryani smelled like it had been sitting for days and was past its prime. It was only one half of the platter, so it seems like they might have mixed fresh biryani with older, possibly spoiled, food. Unfortunately, several guests had already eaten the food before we noticed the issue. I would not recommend ordering large portions for events, as the quality seemed inconsistent. Very disappointing experience.

I went here for the first time yesterday and ordered the Chicken Tikka Boti from this place. The photo of the dish they have on the menu looks nothing like what I got. I paid $15 for this dish and a bottle of water and this is the pathetic salad I got. This photo is of the salad they gave me. Not impressed. Not going back again.

Was disturbed to walk in and see how unsanitary the environment is here. Also, the girl on the front desk seemed unwelcoming. I think it’s common sense to clean up tables after customers have left, with dirty plates, food on not just one but a few other tables.. after seeing this, we asked for paper plates to dine in instead of regular plates and cutlery. The food wasn’t even fresh and tasted like it was a day old.. definitely not coming back.

Horrible portions. They use to give twice the amount I just received. Will never be ordering from here again. One piece of chicken for Chicken Karachi with full gravy.

The food is decent and the prices fair. We ate there on Saturday and found out there is a pest issue at the restaurant. I informed the staff and they were apologetic. I wouldn't return based on this as it was really unappetizing.

I called the restaurant on May 16, 2025, after 12 PM to place a lunch order for my office. The lady who answered the call was very rude and unprofessional. Her tone and attitude were so bad that we almost canceled the order. My phone was on speaker, and everyone who heard the conversation was shocked. We still ordered because we didn’t have time to look for another restaurant, but no one was happy with the service. Please note — this kind of behavior gives a bad image to the restaurant

Disappointed with the food. Ordered chicken Biryani and Karahi chicken. The karhai chicken was very sour maybe due to sour tomatoes and the Biryani rice lacked taste. The food quality has dropped.

Ordered fried fish , kadhai chicken , boneless biryani(takeout) I must say .... What I thought about the food is that what I get is very opposite .... Very very very disappointed.... If u thought ohhhh it serves authentic good Tastefully food then the answer is a BIG NO. Dried fried fish, no flavors. Chicken kadhai is only the chicken cooked in tomato gravy only... Biryani is all only the aromatic rice nothing else..... And last look at the portion instead of paying $14 ...

I used to love their Karahi, not anymore. Pathetic service. Staff doesn’t know how to talk to customers. Serving old food, when said chicken karahi is bad, they don’t acknowledge instead they argue with us.

Kadhai Chicken was horrible - had no onions, no tomatoes, no green peppers, no spices and no taste. Paneer Kulcha did not have paneer in it. Not going here ever again. Such a disappointment

I ordered Red rentils and rice from this restaurant as I knew they tasted pretty good. But this time there was a dead bug mixed in rice. I mean Can’t we even trust you on food , on which you’re making a living.

The worst food experience I’ve had in soo long. The butter chicken was just like a rubber and no flavor. The portion was wayyyyy too small. We had to leave so much food because it wasn’t good at all.

Went for lunch with friends and had a very unpleasant experience. We found hair in the seekh kebab, and the chicken karahi was spoiled. When we tried to explain the issue to the waitress and cook, they were dismissive and showed no concern. They even refused to taste the chicken karahi to verify our complaint. Although the dish was eventually replaced, the lack of basic customer service and unwillingness to listen was shocking. Definitely not the kind of experience you’d expect when dining out.

Me and my friends visited this place today, and it wasn’t our first time. We ordered seekh kebab, chicken kadai with naan, and biryani. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. To begin with, the staff member taking our order seemed completely disinterested, almost as if she had been forced to work there. When the food arrived, we found a hair in the seekh kebab, and the chicken karahi had clearly gone bad. When we brought this to the owner’s attention and asked her to taste it, she refused and said “I just had lunch and I’m full.” For a place we’ve visited before, this was very disheartening and left us with a negative impression.

La Sani Grill lost a customer after 15 years. I ordered chicken biriyani, Karachi paneer, Cholay just a while ago. It is very sad 😔 LA Sani Grill lost their vibe. Food was horrible. Portion was very small. Chicken biriyani was given without any chicken. Just plain rice. Anyone reading this please know I used to recommend this place to all my friends and relatives. I have second thoughts about my own taste now. I would not give any business any further. I have spent closer to $1000.00 for last year. This is the first time I was felt dissapointment. Management should realize that there are plenty of restaurants in the Scarborough area and if you want your loyal customers to come there, order food online be honest and be loyal and give a good service ( deliver good food ) I don't mind driving for 30 mins if the food is great. Food for thought!

The full butter chicken is 12oz only ? Thats what I got in $18. A small butter chicken sorry butter curry with 3 cubes or chicken with naan & salad. It’s Not worthy, can’t see that small portion at any other restaurant. Definitely, never gonna order something again.

I ordered to biryani from this restaurant through Uber eats because they had buy one get one free promotion, however I only received one biryani in my order. When I contacted the restaurant, they tried to shift all the responsibility to Uber instead helping resolve the issue , unfortunately there was no effort to make things right-No replacement, credit, or even an apology to show they value their customers. Mistakes can happen, but how a business handles them matters in this case the response was disappointing and unprofessional. If you order from this place through Uber, eats double check your order and promotions carefully my experience was very frustrating.

Worst taste. Biryani meat was very dry and not fresh. Meet was cooked a week before at least. Does not taste like biryani at all. I left after couple of bite. When I asked why so dry, they answered because it's dark meet boneless!!

Went there only once to order a Chicken roll for lunch and not going back. How hard is it to make a chicken roll? How bad cook are you to not able to make a roll? I paid over $10 for this and expect it to be at least edible. They use store bought thick naan (type used to fill in sharwarma) which was chewy , thick and soggy put a few pieces of red tasteless chicken together with cabbage slaw and rolled it into a thick disgusting loaf! At least make a pharatha or roti or naan or if u r using store bought warm it up. Make the chicken better. I work hard and pay for my food and expect it to be good, palatable otherwise I dont eat it.

Never had this kind of bad service from a restaurant. Very disappointing. It was my first time and the girl who was in the front taking order was not welcoming. We had to call her to clean the table so that we can seat. She didn’t gave us water as well. Never ever going back to this place! First learn how to serve and keep the customers happy The restaurant wasn’t busy at all. Probably our expectations was high, which made us disappointed. No one is disrespecting ur staff, it’s an honest review. That’s it.

I visited this restaurant and ordered halwa, pori, naan, and fish, but it was a very disappointing experience. The pori was full of oil, the quantity was extremely small, and the overall quality was very poor. Honestly, they don’t even deserve 1 star. I will never come back here again. Not recommended.
