We came out to experience the Chef Battle specifically and were not disappointed 😁 What a fun experience to be a part of!!!!! We got to interact with the Chefs as they prepared their courses and even got samples along the way. Each chef created an appetizer, entree, and dessert and we scored them based on presentation, taste, and creativity. I highly recommend this experience for any fans of cooking competitions who always dreamed of being one of the judges 😊
I booked a private cooking class for a team bonding event and had an amazing time! The booking process was simple and the Hudson Table team was very responsive in answering all of my questions. Chef Tom was a fun instructor and our team had a great time! The location was beautiful and we enjoyed our Thai vegan meal. They even send you the recipes to the meal you made after the class! Would highly recommend taking a class here.
Great staff, very fun concept chefs were very creative and food came out at a great temperature. Would definitely do this again or keep it in mind for a friend or family catered event. Place wouldn’t be what it is, without this staff/chefs. Seems they alternate and kinda help and compete against each other. Bravo!!!
We went to a chef competition tonight and it was so much fun! Not only did we get to taste amazing food, but we also got to talk to the chefs, taste sauces and foods they were preparing, and ultimately vote for a winner. Highly recommend this experience. Tickets are hard to get but keep trying!
I had an amazing experience at Hudson Table! From start to finish, the entire evening was unforgettable. The staff were friendly, and the host made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was definitely the chefs – not only did they cook up delicious dishes, but they were also so open and eager to answer any questions we had. It felt like I was on Chopped, the cooking show, as the chefs worked their magic with the mystery basket ingredients. It was fun watching them turn those ingredients into amazing dishes. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, with the freedom to move around, take as many videos and photos as we wanted, and just enjoy the whole experience. Eating, drinking, and laughing with my boyfriend made it perfect for date night. I was also so grateful to have gotten tickets because I know they can be tough to come by. It definitely felt like a special treat to be able to experience everything firsthand. The dishes were excellent! The portions were generous, and the mystery basket ingredients were used in creative and flavorful ways. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Overall, Hudson Table exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy great food in a fun, interactive, and welcoming environment! Thank you Chef Santiago and Chef Oliver
Hudson Table was the perfect bridal shower venue. The space and open kitchen is beautiful enough on its own and only requires a bit of decor to make it unique and special for your event. The food and staff were incredible. All my guests were raving about the food and checking out the events looking forward to making another trip. If you're looking for a bit of a non-traditional event venue, definitely reach out.
SUCH a fun experience. Truly feels like you’re on an episode of iron chef. We came for my husband’s birthday and had a blast. You get an appetizer, main and dessert from each chef and then you get to judge. They also have drinks you can order. Really such a fun evening and perfect for a date night or special occasion.
We had my daughter's 11th birthday party here and when it was over she said that she thought it was the best birthday party she has ever had. She loves baking and so we were looking for a baking place that would do something fun. Hudson Table was the only place I found that did CUPCAKE WARS. Once I mentioned this, my daughter was sold! They were very communicative via email prior to the party and we were well organized. Vivi was our chef for the party and she was AMAZING. She was so friendly, engaged, helpful, communicative....everything you would want. The girls all loved her. I think everyone had a great time. The girls go to take home all the cupcakes they decorated. A lot of the parents there were asking me "How did you find this place?" (Mom secrets ;-) ) Would definitely recommend. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
What an incredible evening! A 3 course meal (really 6 courses considering 2 dishes for each), gifted chefs, and a unique shared experience. Can’t say enough about Chefs Nykira and Oliver and their food. We loved the communal seating and getting to know our table neighbors. Will be back!
Great experience at Hudson Table! While they are cooking, you can chat with whomever you came with or other guests. You can take as many photos/videos as you want. The chefs will also answer any questions while they are cooking. I was happy to see that the options were normal plated portions, so I was pleased about that. I had counter seating, so I didn't have to get up to get a good view of what was happening in the cooking area. Those at the tables did need to get up and walk over to get a better view. I would definitely do this again. The chefs receive the secret ingredients when they arrive and decide what they are going to prepare. At the end, we choose who we believe is the winner and mention one thing that stood out to us.
We had an amazing experience brunch experience , the food was great and the environment was fantastic! I will definitely return hopefully for a dinner competition.
Awsome one of a kind experience at Hudson table. I had a birthday private event guided cooking class making pasta, salad and desert. Thanks to Vlad and his team for taking care of us. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a unique even. Best part no dishes!
Such a fun experience from start to finish. We got to attend a chef competition between Chef Jose and Chef Ian, and both did an excellent job! All their dishes were unique and different from each others, but all the dishes were so good. It was super tough to choose a winner. But during the cooking, you can walk around and talk to the chefs while they work, and they'll even give you samples as they go. I think this is a wonderful experience for the price, but make sure you get tickets immediately, as they sell out super fast!
What an amazing experience! From the booking to the actually experience. I booked a private class "A Night in Italy" for my team holiday party (there were 14 of us) and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Chef Vladimir was kind, welcoming and hilarious. He and his team truly made the experience exciting and memorable. Hudson Table BTS crew were incredibly helpful and responsive via email throughout the entire process and as a fellow business owner not only am I impressed with the follow through, but also the follow up after the event just to make sure all went well. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND! See some pics of the cutest team in the whole world @littlelionsalon
Went there for their chef competition on 3/29. It was a super engaging, fun and delicious experience. The young woman who was the MC/Host for the event was great at leading us through the experience. Chef Jessica and Chef Ajaya served us amazing food! 20/10 would go back again
Our experience of hosting our rehearsal dinner Hudson Table was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we began planning our dinner, our communication with their Event Manager Anna was a breeze. She was incredibly responsive, addressing all our questions promptly and with genuine care. Her kindness and thoughtfulness made the planning process seamless and stress-free, which we really appreciated. We had plenty of time to decorate the room to our liking, though the venue is already beautiful on its own so we didn’t even need to do much. The intimate setting also provided the opportunity for guests to have meaningful interactions with one another. Chef Jose crafted a menu that was delicious while also catering to all of our guests' dietary restrictions, including gluten-free, dairy-free, and pescatarian. Every dish was flavorful and matched the quality of the best restaurants in NYC. One of our favorite things about Hudson Table was that we were able to customize the menu to incorporate flavors from all of the different types of cuisines that we enjoy. Throughout the evening, our guests couldn't stop raving about the incredible food and the overall dining experience. From the appetizers to the main course and dessert, everything exceeded our expectations. We were even lucky enough to have some leftovers to take home at the end of the night! Hudson Table was the perfect setting for our rehearsal dinner and we’re so lucky to have such an amazing place like this in our neighborhood. We will remember the memories that we made that night for a lifetime and we have the incredible staff at Hudson Table to thank for that. Thank you to the entire team for helping us have the best night! We highly recommend hosting your rehearsal dinner or any other private event here.
Went to the Brooklyn location for chef competition. Chef Oliver vs Chef Kemo. This is a great night, don’t hesitate and just book it. Food was fabulous and it was fun watching the chefs prepare their dishes. The layout is nice and kudos to Hudson Table for not overcrowding the audience. There was plenty of room to move around and watch. Servers and host were attentive and professional. Overall great gift idea and fun night!!
We had a wonderful first experience at Hudson Table and will definitely be back. Our group could not stop raving about their cooking class, they loved the recipes and thoroughly enjoyed the fruits of their labor when they got to sit down and enjoy the meal they prepared. We used this a reward for our top performing managers and it truly was a special experience for them, one they all said was memorable and so so fun.
i went here for the saturday brunch competition of 2 chefs in a 3 course meal brunch battle where the audience scores each dish on taste, presentation and creativity. it was a super fun and interactive experience. a great date spot for the foodies out there. we had a salmon latke v an incredible soup; frittata with a squash purée base v a corn fritter with hollandaise and asian pear topper; and a beetroot powered infused tiramisu cream with a homemade biscotti v a salted caramel waffle with homemade rhum and raisin ice cream and granola. everything was so well executed and a wonderful experience. also come here for cooking classes if you can!
A super entertaining experience. We went for the competition between Chef Jose and Chef Ian. 3 hours from start to finish broken into 3 rounds (1 for each course). At the end of each round, you eat and rate the food, then a winner is announced at the end. They make the experience really fun and interactive. You are encouraged to walk around, talk to the chefs, and taste the things they’re making. The portions are quite sizable (each chef serves you a full 3 course meal so you’ll leave feeling very stuffed). Even ignoring the competitive element, all the food was pretty tasty, though you’ll of course need to accept some surprises given the context. For example - one of the chef’s tried to make ice cream but couldn’t get it to cool in time so he pivoted into a sauce. All in all - a must try! The hard to get a booking and the price point is quite high so we probably won’t be back for a while, but would highly recommend experiencing at least once.
such a unique experience here!! you get to watch 2 chefs make 3 courses in front of you (everything from prep to plate) while talking to them and even sampling things along the way. i think counter seating is a must for this experience (would not rec doing table seating)
We loved our experience at Hudson Table! We learned solid cooking skills and prepared a 5 course meal that was delicious! I left with the confidence to cook more at home, and enough leftovers to enjoy at least 2 more meals. Vlad instructions were clear and concise, and he was sweet and charming to boot!
Highly recommend Hudson Table’s cooking classes and especially Chef Vlad. The class started off with a quick demonstration of proper knife cutting and then an overview of recipe steps for the first course. Then working in groups of 4, we carried out the recipe. Chef Vlad and his assistant were always nearby to answer any questions we had on the class or about cooking in general. After about 2 hours of cooking, we sat down and enjoyed a delicious meal (pictures included). From start to finish, this was an experience to remember and one my boyfriend and I hope to participate in again soon!!
My coworker & I had the best time ever! The crew at Hudson Table was Gold Star winners! The food we made was the best I have ever had! It is a must do when in Brooklyn
I recently hosted a work event here and it was a blast! We had a group of about 30 people from all over the country in town for a work event and were looking for a unique team activity and this was great. The chefs made very unique and delicious dishes and the service was phenomenal. Highly recommend for work events, or even birthdays or bachelorette parties.
This was our first cooking class and the first time at Hudson table. It was amazing! We had Chef Oliver 3/22. We made ceviche, fennel salad, NY strip steak, and duck fat potatoes. The creme brulee was already prepared for everyone, and it was the best we've ever tasted. It was a lot of fun. The table had 4 guests each. The ladies across from us were locals and so sweet. It was so nice to enjoy the food together after we finished cooking. It was a ton of food for 4 people. We highly recommend booking a class. We aren't local but definitely plan to come back just for another experience here.
The space is perfect, the staff is friendly and accommodating and the food is absolutely delicious. I'm still thinking about that Kale Caesar salad. I hosted a baby shower here and it was perfect. Don't hesitate to have your event here!
I was at Hudson Table for the live cooking competition on 1/27 and it was fantastic. It was a hybrid of Iron Chef and Chopped. It was an intimate setting with about 16 of us dining in total. We got to watch every step of the process and try great food. Chefs Koray and Jose are such talented chefs. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who is open to trying different foods and providing their feedback openly, as you do have to share who you chose in front of the group!
We are still in complete awe at what the Hudson Table Brooklyn team was able to pull together for our post-elopement dinner, with only a few weeks notice! Planning - From our first email inquiry, Allen and Anna were so thoughtful, helpful, and patient with all of our (many) questions. They were 100% the reason we were able to pull off our event with such little time to spare. Anna was also at the event, which made things run so smoothly - we didn't have to worry about a thing except showing up and having a great time. Location - It was a little nerve-wracking to book a venue without seeing it, but we couldn't have been happier when we did a walk-through right before the event. The vibe of the space was exactly what we were looking for - intimate without being too stuffy, a great design / floor layout which helped the party flow, a small outdoor patio area for overflow, beautiful lighting and ambience, and of course the amazing open kitchen in the center. We barely had to bring any decor, which made things much easier on us; just wish we had taken even more photos. Food/Drinks - Our guests were nonstop raving all night about the food, and we were sooo happy with the amazing menu by Chef Simon and his team. The results were even better than we could have hoped, and they even incorporated some minor feedback we had on an initial menu draft. I know we'll be talking about it for years to come. Anna also chose the perfect drinks to go along with the menu; everyone loved the wine selections and the orange wine could not be poured fast enough :) All in all my advice is to stop your search and book this place for your event today!!! You will not regret it! P.S. A great side-bonus is that the space is usually in use for group cooking classes, which I know will make an amazing, nostalgic anniversary outing.
Took my friends that got engaged for a fun night out and we had the best time! We did night in España with chef Vlad. The cooking class was super hands on and time went by super fast, before you know it you’re having dinner. Drinks are offered for purchase
I had an amazing experience at the Hudson table in Brooklyn! I attended because I was celebrating my anniversary. Upon arrival, we signed in, put on our aprons, and created our name tag. There were two tables, that seated four people, so in total there were eight participants. I really loved this because it really allowed it to be intimate and take control of what we were making. We were able to put in our drink orders which the sous chef, Cem, prepared and got out to us. Our food instructor, Jordan, begin with a quick icebreaker to get the group acquainted, and then he did a quick tutorial on the best cuts to get our desired results, as well as some of the rules for the cooking class. All of our items were pre-measured, which made it super easy to follow the instructions for preparing our meal. Our meal consisted of a appetizer, which was mango bean salsa and sofrito shrimp. Our entrée was a steak with a chimichurri sauce, Spanish rice, and haricots vets. Our dessert was supposed to flan, but our cooking instructor made it before our arrival, because it would take a long time for the flan to set. I would’ve loved to have made a dessert that all participants wanted to eat and would take a less time for us to prepare. I also didn’t like the flavor of the Spanish rice, as this is something that I make at home. During the class, we were put in teams with the other couple at the table because the food was prepared for the whole table. Overall it was a great experience, I had a lot of fun and I highly recommend!
I went got my birthday and it as awesome. Chef Chris made a soup that made me feel like ill never ever get the chance to experience something like that from anywhere else again and that's kind of the point and best part. It makes you want to go again because you really don't know what you'll get.
This our second seating as we had a wonderful experience each time. Very well presented and organized. Somehow our meal tastes as good as the professional 😁. The chef is fabulous and the staff is hands on ready to help.
Hosted my daughter’s 9th birthday at Hudson Table in Brooklyn. They were able to keep 20 kids busy and engaged making pasta from scratch, decorating cupcakes, even had amazing snacks while they took a break. The staff, chefs, teachers, etc were all so incredibly patient and warm and fun to be around. Highly recommend!!
Our heartfelt thanks to Vivi and all the other chefs who made this such a wonderful birthday for my daughter and her guests! Everyone had such a wonderful time and Vivi and her crew were just fantastic! Thanks again for all your help in getting this set up! Really a wonderful memory, so thank you!
We brought a medium-sized team to Hudson Table in Williamsburg, and the experience couldn’t have been better. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all of our dietary restrictions, making sure everyone felt taken care of. They created such a supportive and fun environment that encouraged us to cook together and really enjoy the process. The meals were absolutely delicious, and the menu offered something for everyone with a great variety. Special shout-out to Chef Vlad and his team for making it such a memorable experience. Highly recommend!
This is the second year we hosted our corporate event at Hudson Table (Brooklyn Location) and it did not disappoint! The venue is perfect for smaller events (10+) but can be fit to hold a larger event (30+). The chef competition styled after Chopped! / Iron Chef comes complete with you choosing your "mystery box" and watching two chefs create original meals (appetizer, main, dessert) in a timed competition. The food is excellent & creative. The chefs are entertaining and fun. You can mingle with your guests as the courses are prepared, or interact with the chefs and taste items as it is being created. Onsite teams are helpful and friendly. Our group loves it so much we cannot wait to go back next year! Highly recommend considering this option over a traditional private room dinner as for your next event. Entertaining, interactive and the food is truly amazing (and a once in a lifetime meal - no one will make that food with your box again).
I hosted my 9yo son's birthday party at Hudson Table last weekend and we all had the BEST time. The kids made delicious homemade pasta and tiramisu and they were completely engaged for the duration of the event. A few parents elected to stay and we were able to order snacks and wine for everyone. The entire team at Hudson Table is so warm and wonderful--if you're looking for a place to host a truly unique party, this is the spot!
I was first introduced to Hudson Table and their chef competition concept from TikTok. An Iron Chef/Chopped concept? Mystery food baskets? I was so excited having grown up watching those shows. When I first tried to book a dinner, it was completely sold out! In fact, I tried for a couple months before finally setting an alarm to make sure I was one of the first picks when the calendars were released for the month. During my first dinner in Brooklyn, I was initially disappointed because I could not recognize most of the mystery basket items, but the chefs of the night turned it out! Every dish was so delicious, I was so impressed with how they utilized these foreign items and I’m still thinking about Chef Nikki’s dragon fruit chicken. I then attended another dinner a few months later in Connecticut, this time with a mystery basket of items I loved (such luck) and once again, was treated to some of the most delicious meals I’ve ever tried. It was in that moment when I decided that I would LOVE to have Hudson Table host my birthday dinner. I emailed them right away and was sent a response almost immediately with the concept and menu items to choose from for my mystery basket. From that moment on, I had numerous email exchanges with the events team who were wonderful at answering my many questions in a timely matter. Once details were finalized, all we literally had to do was show up for the night. My family and I had an epic time! So much fun, such amazing food and honestly, some of my mystery basket choices were tough LOL so the creativity was so well received. My guest and I talked about the menu for days after. Our hosts, servers and chefs all ensured my guests and I had a great time. In the end, I had one of the most amazing birthday dinners and its all thanks to the Hudson Table team. I cannot wait to come back for another Chef Competition and would most definitely host another event there in the future.
Hudson Table never misses! I just hosted my second private event here in two years—a special family afternoon for the ladies in my life. It was important to me that my grandmother experience this space, and she loved it. Between the great atmosphere and the seamless experience, everyone had a fantastic time. Thank you again to the Hudson Table crew!!
I wasn’t sure what to expect but I can say that I was blown away by this experience. It was fun and interactive! Everyone from the chefs to the hosts made the night memorable. This is a great event for the cooking show lovers out there! You have the opportunity to really see and taste different creative styles come to life. Elyssa made our experience even better as a host and kept the music hits going! We will definitely be back and look forward to another competition!
Experience was amazing at Hudson Table! I had my husband’s surprise birthday party here! We had the best time ever! Was very hands on and engaging! Staff members were friendly and fun! Everyone enjoyed it! Definitely will book future parties here!
I attended the Hudson Table dining event with my boyfriend, and we were truly left speechless. Chef Matt and Chef Lu were both incredibly knowledgeable and did an amazing job explaining each dish and the inspiration behind the flavors. Their passion for food truly elevated the entire experience. The menu offered a wonderful range of flavors, starting with the parsnip couplet, which was smooth, creative, and full of taste. The hanger steak was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and easy to devour. And the gingerbread cake was the perfect ending: a delightful, comforting finish to an already incredible night. Would I attend a Hudson Table dining event again? Absolutely. Would I recommend it? Without hesitation. Tell them Sinclair sent you—you won’t regret it.
Excellent venue with wonderful food and service. They cook the food right there in an open kitchen and everything is delicious. We had a wedding rehearsal dinner there then (2+ years later) a baby shower. For the shower there were about 40 guests, which was perfect for the size of the venue. We had bruschetta, fried chicken and waffle bites, Caesar salad, skirt steak, mashed potatoes, salmon with spinach and pesto, and butternut squash. Everything was wonderful, especially the salmon and steak, which were exceptional. They also served beer, wine and soft drinks. We brought in dessert (cookies and cake from a local Italian bakery) which was in addition to the wonderful key lime tarts they provided. The staff was attentive, professional and friendly. All in all, it was excellent and I look forward to going back.
Best experience hands down! I will definitely be back. The vibes were amazing and so was food! I can’t wait to return! Shout out to Chef Kurt. He was very friendly and social. We had an opportunity to talk after and he was very receptive to the feedback to enhance the guest experience. Thank you!
Went to the chef competition and it was such a fun and cool event. The food was really good and creative. I will say, I don't know if it was worth $160, but maybe I'm too cheap!
Came here for the chopped competition after wanting to come for years. The venue itself was very cold (temperature wise) I was freezing. For the value I understand it’s supposed to be entertaining however the food portions are quite small. For the price I could’ve went to a really nice restaurant and been full. My boyfriend and I left kind of hungry and the dishes were a bit mediocre in quality. Chef Theo was very entertaining however not all the chefs are as entertaining and put on a show. Overall wouldn’t return but the concept was fun. Maybe if it was cheaper/ portions were bigger/ higher quality ingredients.
We did the pasta making class on a Saturday morning, and whilst it was a fun experience, we never actually made any pasta. The problem is that the cooking tasks are devised for groups of four people. So if you are a couple, you'll be sharing your table with another couple, and you'll have to divide the many cooking tasks between the couples. So the one chance you have to actually make pasta from scratch, the other couple on our table put their hands up quicker and off they went. The rest of the class is chopping onions, garlic etc, cooking up ragu sauce, cutting pre made gnocchi dough then sauteing it, and rolling out and filling pre made cannelloni pasta dough. You end up with 3 courses to eat, all of which were delicious, and we were able to take home enough leftovers for another meal. A fun time, but a bit disappointing to not be able to actually make any pasta, as per the class name.
Extremely disappointed by Hudson Table’s lack of compassion and flexibility. We missed a scheduled experience because of a true medical emergency involving our child, who woke up coughing and spitting blood and had to be rushed to the emergency room. This was not a casual no-show or poor planning—it was a frightening, unexpected emergency that no parent ever wants to face. I reached out afterward with a sincere apology and did not ask for a refund. I simply requested the possibility of rescheduling the experience for a future date, even at their convenience, so my pregnant wife could still enjoy what we had been looking forward to. Despite acknowledging the emergency, Hudson Table hid behind a rigid “all sales are final” policy and refused to offer any accommodation whatsoever. Their only alternative was to offer boxed food pickup, which completely misses the point of an experiential event and feels dismissive given the circumstances. Policies exist, but good businesses know when to apply human judgment and empathy. This was a moment where flexibility would have shown integrity and care for customers. Instead, we were met with cold inflexibility. If you choose Hudson Table, be aware: emergencies don’t matter here. Even a child’s medical crisis won’t warrant basic accommodation. That’s not the kind of business I would recommend or support again.
Although the staff was lovely, the place did not live up to our expectations. The kitchen and food storage area was completely cluttered and you did not feel like you were eating in a clean place. The ingredients in the competition included M&Ms and corn syrup and the M&M bag was open on the counter when we arrived. It was not really a surprise competition since the chefs already knew what they were serving and had their menus planned already. The food was not enjoyable at all. I was very disappointed because this was a gift for my daughter for Christmas. I am only giving a review because they requested one and I was not the only person there that seemed disappointed.
