Nice place for food and beer big out side space to eat and drink at affordable prices
This was fab for food. We had the lasagne and a burger with all the dressings both had chips. Both tasted great.
One of the best places for an english breakfast, for more than 7 years being customers always happy here, food, staff, owner , location, everything 5 stars!!!

This had been a favourite place for an aunt and uncle who recently passed-away so we visited in their memory. We can see why they loved it. A lovely welcome by the very happy and friendly couple in charge (the owners?). A wide menu of typically international meals at a very fair price. We highly recommended the Castaways.

We found this place on our short visit in October and we are so glad that we did! The food is fantastic, the prices are so good too. The staff are super friendly, especially the woman who we saw there every day. Made an effort to have a proper chat with us which was lovely. We will most definitely be back whenever we are in Palma Nova. Love this place.

Lovely bar serving really good food at affordable prices. The menu is huge but everything we tried was great. They definitely serve the best Ceaser salad in Palmanova and the staff are so lovely and welcoming. Thanks for looking after us, we'll be back next time we come to the Mallorca 😀

Fantastic place with lovely staff and superb drinks (the zombie in particular) would definitely recommend if your looking for a establishment that is not clubby but still has an upbeat atmosphere. Also the hawian style shirts give the place a unique feel. Thank you for all you do

Such a great place to eat- absolutely first class breakfasts including full fried breakfasts, omelettes, eggs benedict (which were stunning) and much more- all so tasty. Great food, VERY reasonably priced and very friendly staff.

Our favourite on a recent break to Palma Nova. Friendly lovely welcoming cafe bar. They even gave free ice creams to all the kids after their meals.
Castaways has a friendly team behind them to can relax and get to know them and they leave an impression that wants you to keep coming back.

The service and hospitality is second to non, the food is amazing and at a very competitive price too. It's always far busier than the other bars locally. A high recommendation from myself.

Busy place, full at lunchtime but the staff are efficient and friendly. Food is perfect for what it is, not aiming for a Michelin star, but on different days I enjoyed a delicious club sandwich and a pretty damn good burger.

Went several times during our holiday. Great friendly staff, lovely food and reasonable prices. Just across the road from the beach. Definitely recommend. Jacket potatoes were lush.
Generally the nicest little cafe on the island! Reminds me of a really good British fry up, the staff are absolutely amazing. We came here with our toddler and they were so good with her and cooked her a great breakfast. Highly recommend if you’re on the island. See you next year!

Food is amazing if you want quality and quantity this is the place. The service is always quick and friendly this is our second year in palma nova and we have spent pretty much everyday at castaways I would highly recommend.
Castaways is a nice friendly restraunt. All of the staff have a sense of humour and are welcoming. We went in past on a drizzly day for lunch on our way to Eroski super market. We opted to sit under an awning in case it rained and it did. We were not that hungry so decided on mains only (lucky for us) My wife had the Chilli Con Carne with rice and chips and I had the steak with peppercorn sauce, chips and salad. The chilli was really nice with just the right amount of heat. My wife struggled to finish it. I really enjoyed the steak and the peppercorn sauce was nice. The chips were crispy and the salad was fresh and I enjoyed it. I had a pint of Madri and a coke zero for my mrs. thoroughly enjoyed our time at Castaways, we were gong to come back again, but due to the weather we decided to stay in the hotel. We will come back next year on our return. Definately value for money. Highly recommended
We always eat here when in Palmanova. A great friendly restaurant and bar with good food at reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly and attentive, some have been here for over 20 years.
Used google maps and past customer ratings to find this little gem of a restaurant- bar . Had breakfast here and it’s first class . As good or better than back home in the uk . The eggs were perfectly cooked , and no tinned mushrooms thank god. All fresh and tasted as it should. Fresh orange juice and a nice selection of teas and coffee. Will be going back again .

Fantastic bar literally opposite the beach. Stayed in a nearby hotel and came here nearly everyday for breakfast, the food is lovely. Daytime staff are great, very friendly and recognise us and remembered our usual order each day! Very good prices for its location

En el día de ayer hemos ido a desayunar , y que gusto !!! Desayunos ricos , abundantes , a buenos precios y con una atención exquisita. Nos ha atendido un señor muy majo que no me he percatado de preguntar su nombre . Ojalá en casa sitio atendieran con esas ganas , esa buena energía y esa generosidad. Recomiendo !!!!!

Todos los fines de semana que podemos ir, acudimos sin falta. También se puede ir con el perro, nuestro pastor alemán lo agradece. Sois unos cracks. VIVA ESPAÑA.

Really lovely waitress, very kind to children. Food prices are exceptionally reasonable and they show all the sports, location near the beach and playground. Overall a great Plamanova bar, but it's just that.

Nice little spot, food very reasonably priced and service quite quick. Great experience on one visit but found the pancakes to be quite hard upon another visit. Won't stop me coming back tho.
Castaways is a very decent place to grab a drink and bite to eat, the waiting staff are lovely. The food was alright, it was nothing spectacular. But it did the job and was very reasonably priced. My biggest qualm is that a 'sprite' soft drink, is three euro's. But in the Spar next door it's 95 cents. To be served a can of Sprite over a bottle for three euro's a bit cheeky. I would definitely visit again, and recommend others to.

Quiet place for a few drinks. Server made no conversation and the place was dead, only one other table occupied. In my opinion over priced drinks, 4.50€ per pint and €8.50 for a cocktail. Wouldn’t be my first choice bar in Palma nova.
I don't know how I feel about this place I really liked the kids cocktail but then again I was very disappointed in the food. I enjoyed having a free lollipop and ice cream that was very nice but then again I was disappointed with the food because well let's just say it wasn't what I expected there was very polite and very nice waiter when I was ordered it very nice in them but I was surprisingly I was the last person to have my meal the chip butty because I thought it's the easiest to make because when I got it let's just say well first there was a lot of chips on hardly buttered bread.Also the TV on the left had some rude parts on which kids were watching! The waiter also said do you want a strawberry or chocolate ice cream and actually it was raspberry and caramel and caramel was very nice but I didn't enjoy the raspberry overall I give it three out of five because I really enjoyed the drink and so no hate intended just an honest review thank you and goodbye.

La carta és bastante engañosa. Hay varias cosas que no tienen, a parte que pone que la cocina abre hasta las 18h y a las 17:10h ya no pudimos pedir. Por otro lado, el camarero que nos ha atendido és bastante seco.

Looks okay from the outside, but honestly, had the worst burgers of our lives here. The amount of chips that were served with the poor burger was just ridiculous, wouldn't have been enough for a baby. Never again, the worst experience on Mallorca as a whole so far...
Not the best experience. The music is a bit loud for a daytime eating situation, people smoking next to where you eat, kinda dirty, and unbelievably long waiting times. We were with our toddler, and I found myself having to run to the pharmacy to buy him a jar of baby food because they hadn’t even started on our order after we’d been waiting for an hour already. We weren’t informed of the waiting time prior to ordering, and even when we asked we couldn’t get any updates. We ended up having to cancel the order because we had to leave to put our toddler down for a nap. At this point, if this were my place, I would not have charged for the drinks. Much to the contrary though, there was a free juice box included with his order, which they then charged us 2 euros for!
