A great experience. I was trying to use the app and it was saying the location was closed. I called and spoke to Dianna and she informed me that they were open and I could get the half price drinks when I got there. I really appreciated her great customer service.
It's always great to go to Sonic for a late night dinner. Especially when all the other place is already closed and you can still get the great customer service they offer. Is a little cold for the server but she was smiling.

Breakfast menu open all day. The sausage egg cheese croissant is my favorite, better flavor and better value than local alternatives. Limeades are great too.
I order ahead from this location at least a few times a week, usually for drinks. Don't usually have to wait a long time for service. Carhops are friendly.
Got Happy Hour drinks for the family. The slush machine stopped working and the car hop personally came out and asked us what he could replace the order with. Then promptly got our order out to us.
Haven't been in a while and my coney was yummy! Cherry limeade was great. Elijah was very friendly and brought the food out quickly. And bonus: there was s car club at this location and it was cool to see all the hoods up and all. Took me back to my high school days in New Mexico!
They had a HUGE mess up...and they HUGELY fixed it. Our entire order was wrong so they ended up letting us keep the food we got, refunded us fully, and gave us 1/2 off the new order with all the missing items. We will never go anywhere else. Way to keep our business, guys. We appreciate it so much. Will be back!
Limeades with strawberries. Amazing. Update 7/18/2025: The last two times we came here we had to drive around the building pulling into stalls until we finally found one, meanwhile every other vehicle was doing the same thing. We were doing a mobile order, and the stalls for that came back on the app as "not a valid stall." Some other vehicles just left, but I had already paid for my food in the app, and a car full of angry kids. My only option was to park and walk to the tables and wait for the food at one of the working screens there. Get your shit together Sonic, over half the stalls screens were not working...
Sonic is one of my favorite stops, especially if I want typical breakfast food for lunch or dinner. Great for snacks too. Who doesn't love the vast array if drink choices especially with Sonic ice? Today's service was fast, friendly and the food was fresh. My car hop wore a great smile too! The rest of this review is to pass onto Sonic Sr. Management. You spend a lot of money for the live action menu boards. The tip screen needs work as it does not matter what Sonic I am at, I tap the screen to leave a tip and it rarely does anything other than become frustrating. Likewise, more recently, the ads in rotation are so dark that if there is any glare at all, you can't see what is being promoted. Invest in some glare free screens and lighten up the backgrounds in the ads. Well worth the investment.
I tried the Buffalo Chicken bites and they were scrumptious! My server was more than well prepared, quite cheerful and very fast during the lunch rush! Definitely one of the cleaner and newer Sonics I've been to.
It seems they've gotten rid of the bugs in the mobile ordering app. The app works great, now, and all of the employees at this Sonic are very fast and friendly. UPDATE: They have kept up the great service. If you use the app, the drinks are half-price!
Almost every morning I come here to get my breakfast and I love how fresh my food is every time. The service is fast and friendly which is why I tip good every time. My favorite car hop is Michael, because he's always delivering food with a good attitude. Give that man a raise!
Although I could clearly hear the employees cursing, I just said it's because they're young. My order was delivered quick considering I ordered onion rings & a corn dog. Both were fresh & hot!! Sonic has the best onion rings, in my opinion. I handed the young man a few dollars & he seemed very grateful, so this was a really good experience. Good job crew!!!!
Just stopped in for some lunch, boyfriend ordered #2 ketchup only. His burger came out with veggies so we pushed the red button again; they replaced the burger with correct order quickly with no hassle or attitude. Food was hot and fresh and staff was friendly. Well run location.
What's not great to say about this fast food spot. This location is fast, clean and friendly. The food came out nice and hot! Which is just rare for Sonic these days and the burger was really good too! Probably my new favorite Sonic location.
Good evening hope everyone is having a wonderful day like me enjoying the sunshine and the precious birds are chirping. They got me going all the way back to a year Sonic Drive-In what I know about Sonic says I am a long-time customer Sonic just got it going on that's all I can say and the staff is awesome matter of fact I was just there 15 minutes ago in Irving off of Shady Grove I was just getting a soda for my hard-working husband. If you're mad you understand we got to take care of the king of the castle. My experience I just got great service and also wonderful staff really kind and sweet spirit you just can't go wrong Sonic drive-thru special day happy hour drinks. Have you ever went to Sonic Tuesday special the burgers half off the time after 5 p.m. basically I'll see that I'm helping promote for Sonic so I'm really doing them a tremendous favor. Almost a long time customer don't mind voicing it out letting people know how good Sonic Drive-In or. Just another satisfied customer just trying to keep it real so may your day be blessed and also why don't you stop by at Sonic drive-in and get you a nice cold drink or slush since the weather is 90 degrees right now:-)
I downloaded and used their app to grab a quick bite while working. Tater Tots - Fresh and crispy Cheeseburger- Fresh Cherry Limeade with extra cherries - perfection - Ice Water with LOTS OF ICE (IYKYK) Service with a smile when I got there. Fast delivery when I checked in. Order accurate. The most important.... that famous peppermint that I'd forgotten about... but they remembered. Yum, Delicious, Thank you. Writing this is making me hungry. Sorry no pictures, trust me it was all Deeeeelicious!!!!

This Sonic is great! They are quick to have orders delivered. Food is of great proportion, warm and delicious. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger. The meat is thick and juicy, not loaded with tons of veggies. Nice and beefy! The tots were cooked to perfection. Nice and crispy! Blue ocean water slush is delicious. Dr. Pepper is crisp and tasty. The car hops here are warm and friendly. I think it's cool how they delover food on their skates too! The parking lot is clean and free of trash and debris.
Fresh fries crispy and hot at 1:45 PM and they provide a knife to help eat a chili coney without making a mess in your car. My ordering and service were rocket fast. Thanks, Sonic team. This was my first visit to this location, but the people working on 10/1/2020 exceeded my Sonic expectations.

Food hot and delicious ,Service fast and friendly, atmosphere, well let me tell you. I love it here. I was on Springfield Ave in Newark and chose Sonic. There was McDonald's, Taco Bell, Popeyes and others. Never had Sonic so I went there. I ordered my food and was told to have a seat. The food was delivered to my table WHILE I WATCHED EMPIRE ON A FLAT SCREEN!!!!! Finally a fast food restaurant with class.
Ice cream came out fast. Lovely customer service. They had patience with a customer that couldn't decide. Clean
Food was decent for the price, but I mean, this is Sonic we are talking about. I got the steak grilled cheese, and it was pretty good! It is HEAVY on the stomach, so I wouldn't get it unless I was starving.
Great service, good Sonic food but because of where they're at, they sometimes get really busy and can be slow at times. I ended up waiting over 10 minutes for my food a couple of times. A reasonable thing to expect at a busy time but fast service even at busy times is what gets a 5 star I think.
Fast food!!! Most the time over cook, you don't wait to much for the food. The shake are amazing. But the employees are no friendly at all.
Updated Sep 2021 they had great service and the hop was friendly. They would have 5 stars of the medium tots I ordered wasn't in a small pocket container.
I always get good services and good from this place. I had only one complaint to help with future visits. Please thoroughly blend milkshakes. We can barely get them through the straws.
sometimes they will close the ice cream machine early on purpose and when they hit the button when it says your food if on its way and it take 5 more minutes for it to actually arrive but the food and dessert was prepared correctly
I visited this location intending to buy a route 44 flavored lemonade but changed my mind upon seeing the ad for the strawberry shortcake snowball slush float. I ordered a large version of this limited time menu item and only waited a few minutes at night to receive the treat, which was delicious. The person that I brought my order to me was friendly, and we had a good, short conversation. I appreciate that this location was open until midnight.

A perfectly average Sonic. Nothing really going that right, and the customer service is consistently ever so slightly sub par. If I had gone to this location once and then given it a review I probably would have given 4 stars as nothing about it is really that bad, but it is just a consistently negative experience.
Order onion rings and they were burnt.
I spent almost $20 for 3 people, and all the food was very low quality. I tried to use the app and the website to order ahead, but neither worked. (I'm aware this isn't the fault of this particular restaurant)
My food is typically good, however I am either missing something in my big orders or my drinks arent what i ordered. Other than having to check my bag twice and tasting every drink not bad. Stick to small orders and you have less if a chance of a bad experience
Tables are in need of repair. Several spots are blocked, and have been for a while. I assume because there's something wrong with the screen/ intercom. It's starting to feel run down and that they don't plan on fixing anything.
The speaker to order is REALLY loud, so be prepared to get frightened. The staff member who took my order wasn't pleasant nor "rude", but after ordering, the staff member took the customers order that pulled up next to me and didn't sound too friendly. Just an okay place to pull in, order a shake, and leave.
Stopped in and ordered only one slushi with nerds. Total was little over $4. I handed the lady $5 in cash, and she quickly walked away saying "Have a nice day" without even asking me if I wanted my change. Oh well.
I would have given 4 stars for them because of their quick service and cleanliness and the cooperative attitude, but the only reason I deducted one star was because they added ice to my drink even though I ordered my drink without ice. I took the original cheese burger and side with onion rings. The burger was great but the onion rings were a little over fried.
The good news: I loved my Chicken strips and tater tots. Bad news: my wife hated her COLD burger.
I think the employees are doing the best they can at this location. Because I have had varies of experience with dining at fast food for over 30 years. In my experience the middle class areas ALWAYS have the freshest ingredients alongside with service fresh cooked burgers/chicken sandwiches. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I picked it up at a different location.

Stable staff, consistent good service. Problem is app does not allow you to put a tip on the app for car shops. Bad example if taking care of their employees.
What can I tell you about Sonic that hasn't been said it's fairly cheap food great to eat and I love the crew at this location. My big gripe with Sonic is after all these years their carhops have to work for tips and they still don't allow credit card tips from customers. This company should be ashamed of themselves.
Ordered on line without lettuce but the staff dies not pay attention and put it on anyway. This has happened 3 times. I contacted the manager and was told to go somewhere else if I didn't like it. I go to Sonic 2-3 times a week until now. This is poor business practice.
When my order first came out, I had absolutely no sauce. Ordering Mozzarella sticks w/ marinara you'd think you would have marinara with order. Unwrapping my burrito I noticed dry sauce on the tortilla, and the inside of the burrito wrapper was disgusting, looked used.
It started off good, until I asked for Hickory sauce on my burger and was told they don't have that but they could give me bbq sauce on the side. What! Definitely not the same, so had to settle for mayo. Then I ordered a large onion ring with cheese on top, I was then told that the manager said they could not put cheese on top. Really?! Now if I ever had to come back to this vicinity to do anything, I wouldn't stop @ this Sonic.
Pulled in at 8:52pm and ordered 2 shakes, no whipped cream or cherries. Waited 25 minutes and carhop brought the shakes with whipped cream and cherries. He apologized, left with them and returned 3 min later. Paid with cash and he had to leave again to get change. During this long wait I observed I car cancel their order and leave due to the wait. Car next to me was on the verge of leaving due to the wait. Bad experience.
Hamburgers were cold, buns were flat, and fries were also cold. We sent chocolate shake back before we drove off to eat at home. It looked like chocolate milk,, not thick.. We spent 27 dollars, and gave a generous tip to server.
Service is terrible. Ordered 2 drinks and eventually just left because it took so long. Couldn't pay for it either because to screens to order didn't work. Came back later to give it another try. fortunately it worked this time but they gave me a mutilated sandwhich. They replaced the sandwhich. The food was good but man what a hastle.

The food is pretty good if you can find a stall that actually works. At least half the stalls are not functioning. Had to drive around 3 times and tried 3 different stalls. None worked. Do you want my business or not?
So often the stalls are closed or just turned off entirely. Frustrating to re park my har 3 times just to pick up an order. Staff is great tho.
So I usually have good experience but this time did not. I asked for mini sonic blast and I asked for extra cherries . I knew thwre was a charge but gentleman on speaker was very nice and said he would give me some for free. Cool. Well kid comes out not same guy doesn't bring extra cherries just one in top and he said they would be extra charge. I didn't wanna explain what other guy said so I just gave him extra for it. He went back in and didn't even bring them out which is very simple to do just said other guy was brining thwm to me. 6 people walked in and out no one brought then untill I asked a third time to the 5th employee. And as I work across the street that was poor customer service to pass me to another employee instead of just getting them himself. BTW not busy either. Just got a large strawberry cheesecake shake from this sonic on Frankford. 10/31/2021 Whatever dairy they are using , it’s spoiled . Shake taste like the smell of bad cheese. And no one answers the phone . 🙂🙃
Takes forever for them to get on the speaker after pressing the red button. Yesterday we waited 20 minutes after pressing the red button. Everyone started leaving without their order and so did we. We tried again today. We thought, well maybe they had a bad day. Nope, same thing we waited 25 minutes and no one got on the speaker to take our order.
friendly but extremely slow service. Takes 10 minutes just to get a slush. Plus, when I ordered an orange cream slush it took 15 minutes and they didn't mix the orange flavouring with the ice cream, it was not mixed at all. I don't have issues with other sonic locations but this one is terrible
First time here..... found hair in my food, had to wait for someone to assist me. No one cared but Jade, she made my experience better... she was very nice and was the only one who apologized for the mishap with the food. She was the only one who seemed eager to assist me, may I mention she was just on skates taking care of business in the heat. Meanwhile you have a whole crew on the inside in the AC who could care less. Props to Jade, I give her 5 stars*****
Only gave 1 star because it would not let me leave ZERO. Slow service and rude car hop. We waited 10 minutes for 2 drinks. My strawberry slush was not mixed, when I asked if they could mix it properly, her reply was "sorry we have a lot of customers" hahahaha. Then when brought back out, one whole side of the cup was covered in strawberry. I worked at sonic for 8 years growing up and it has really gone down hill. Drink only orders used to be priority and required to be delivered within 2 minutes and properly cleaned and wiped down also. If you wanna make that tip money, have more pride in your work. Will never come back!
I have a first world problem. There are two Sonics near my house. Store 3461 3 minutes away and the other one off of Hebron, 5 minutes away. Every time I visit the Frankford location I run into issues. I have to wonder, is it me? Is it because I use the sonic app to order my food to avoid my speech from being an issue while ordering through the speaker? Every time I wait 15 minutes at least. I order desserts for the family and a burger for me. The burger is cold (lukewarm at best) and I’m always short straws or spoons or they’re always out of drink carriers. In short, this location is the pits. If it’s because I don’t tip, I get it I guess. I don’t tip because I don’t carry cash but would gladly do so on the app if that was a feature. Well goodbye Frankford location. I’ll miss the five minutes saved round trip but Hebron will now be my jam. Jokes on me if they’re both owned by the same franchisee owner. Ciao!

There's absolutely nothing more frustrating then driving to a place to get an order for my manager bring it back and find out that your people aren't capable of putting the right stuff in bags. Well there is another thing... You call up to Sonic to discuss it with a manager they tell you well turn around and come back we can exchange the sauces. WHAT?! Do you think that they are going to let me leave work again? NOPE... Then be told that "We'll try to be better and bag things." I would have thought and hoped that I would have had an offer to redo the order so I can make it up to the managers who I let down. She would do no such thing though. Not Happy At All with this place.
I would not give it a one star if I could! They are filling their drinks with nothing but ice when I ordered a strawberry vanilla sprite. Which leaves me with only a couple sips! I did not order ice.. such a waste of money.
If there were negative stars then that is what the manager and employee that worked new years eve deserve. They only had 1 carhop, manager needs to plan better, then defends the carhop being rude to my daughter over a coupon she had for a slush. After the location was called regarding the rudeness, I can see where it stems from,, the Manager. It just seemed like it was no big deal and because it was New Year's Eve and they were busy then the patrons should have to deal with however the CarHop wants to treat them.
Terrible place. There is no drive-thru window so, you end up having to tip the person delivering the food to you. When you pull up to the menu screens, they're feet above your door! Placed an order in December and when I got home, found out it wasn't cooked like it was supposed to be and ended up throwing it in the trash. Contacted the corporate office and was told someone would be in touch soon. It's been 2 months now and 6 emails to them and absolutely no one has responded! I've been a lifetime customer of the company but this particular location is simply AWFUL!! My family will NEVER shop at any Sonic again simply because of their not caring. KEEP AWAY!!
Food is subpar. But the worst part is the staff. I went to get my pickup order and the lady who spoke with me today said "how can I help you" I told her I was picking up and she said nothing and ended the call. So I pressed the button again. She answered, I said sorry you didn't say anything so I pressed it again because I have a pickup order. Her response was "I don't have to say anything I sent someone out." Wow. Will never ever come here again and I live just down the Frankford.
Very slow service, and they don't melt the cheese if you request extra. I have eaten here twice and both times my hot dog had cold cheese on it. I wish they would create a way to tip the car hop from debit/ credit cards
Watch out for your food here! I ordered an American dog to be have tomatoes and pickles added. I received a hot dog with only tomatoes and pickles not anything else on it so I sent it back. The hot dog I received smelt funky so I ended up throwing the whole thing out. Be careful with your food here. I only ordered one hot dog and it took 40 minutes to receive a hot dog that I ended up throwing away because it smells bad.
Went to order a slush, the service was horrible. My daughter was in the driver seat and she placed the order only for the person that was taking the order not to get it correct. She than repeated the order for him to still get it wrong. She than repeated it a third time for him to get it qorng again. So than he decided to get the manager who couldn't hear us either. He says it was because I wasn't in yhe driver seat and the driver should be ordering. I explained she repeated our order thress times and he couldn't get it correct. So than I asked is it something wrong with the intercom he still couldn't hear me. I than asked if he could come outside to hear. He than walked outside, I asked him( the manager) is it something wrong with this intercom because my daughter repeated the order three times and he couldn't hear her to get it corrected. The M.O.D states oh well he's 15 and this is his first job so he doesn't know. I stated that's not what I asked you. I asked does this intercom work properly. He than got an attitude, and starting to be rude. So at this time I asked him who is the manager he said I am, I asked him who is over you. He stated Lillian, so I asked for her last name he wouldn't provide it. Oh and he wouldn't provide his name either. He than stated we're refusing you service so leave. I stated that's fine I will call and make a complaint to CORPORATE. Which I have done. I will no longer go to this location.
So disappointed. My husband went to pick up dinner for us (2 adult meals and 1 kids pack). They forgot my daughter's grilled cheese sandwich and applesauce so basically she got a bag with juice and napkins. My husband ordered a cherry limeade and he got just a limeade. I told him to go back but he was just to tired to bother. This isn't the first time this has happened at this location but I finally just got fed up.
Ordered french toast sticks with the app. Didnt realize till I was to far away that I didnt get any syrup. Wasted sticks without syrup. Plus the only reason why I ordered was for the free ice brew. Well sonic charged me for it. When I sent a comment into sonic they told me they would get back to me.........still waiting. So their customer service is right there with there food service. I guess it's at least consistent.
They ignored my order from my app for half an hour and then still charged me. I watched cars come and go. The machine even said your order is on its way. I did not recieve it until i went up to the door and the manager said the paymemt is on hold. Weird, then he gave us our mozzarella sticks cold. With no apologies or compensation for our waiting time and still charged us.
Ordered a chili cheese coney .. hot dog was barely warm and tasted old. Car hop took forever .. Don’t believe the great reviews .How can the review below me be posted a day or so ago but the owner replied a YEAR AGO?
Service here is pretty bad. I parked and placed an order.a simple order, nothing custom. After they another car pulled in next to me and ordered. After 10 minutes or so they brought their order. There must have been a problem though as they sender went back inside with the food. They came back a few minutes later. The same thing happened. Then a manager came and went. Food again can't and went. They can't out with food five times before it was right and they left Now it is over 20 minutes for me and still nothing. I'm actually amazed at this point that it could take so long and I'm determined to see it through. I pressed the bell asking if they forgot me. They did. They remade my order and brought it out. It was missing my drink and one food item was missing and it had something I had not ordered. They brought the drink and eventually the missing item. In all, well over 30 minutes for standard menu items. No apology, no explanation. This is why everyone loves In and Out. Great customer service and quality control. i don't expect I'll be back to this Sonic location. There is one a little farther away that I'll visit instead.
This Sonic has become almost impossible to go to. Many of the stalls are closed or out of order. Even the disabled spot is closed which I go to with my wife. We used to order from here every day but not anymore.
We drove up a 11pm and wait for a good ten minutes. No one answered the red call button. A guy was out cleaning the stalls area and never said anything to us about the store being close and then a few min later they turned off the stall lights. They closed the store at 11pm when online it said they are open till midnight.
Mobile Ordered breakfast in a rush and when they brought out the food the breakfast toaster we ordered was wrong, was supposed to be a Bacon Toaster, No Cheese and add sausage. Ordered a Bacon Toaster and got 0 bacon. Though the nice lady offered a new fresh one, when she brought out the new one she said “They made it right this time, I watched them make it” and it was still wrong. This time it was a Bacon Toaster WITH cheese and didn’t have the sausage patty we paid extra for so we just gave up. Had to be somewhere else so just left with what we got.
These guys have gotten *incredibly* slow lately. I placed an order in the app for a large slush, a medium coke, and an order of cheddar peppers. After pulling in and trying the spot we were in to the app, it showed our order in the kitchen true 15 minutes, at which point it said it was on the way out. Another 10 minutes went by before anyone actually brought it out. I counted 6 other cars in the parking lot, and during that time I didn't see anyone getting any food. I get that sometimes things just go wrong, but for the past 2 months these guys have been getting slower and slower.
If I could put no stars,I would. Grilled cheese sandwich you could wring out with grease plus it was soggy. Cherry limeade had no cherries. The grilled cheese burger had no pickles even though extra pickles were requested. Mustard was spread on 2" thick. Avoid this place at all costs. It's horrible. Only four cars in the parking lot, so it's not like they were busy.
Went to a stall the only one that was available sat there for 15 minutes watched everybody else get help went to a different stall that I know worked because I watched somebody else get help got ignored and then called in and got hung up on literally the worst.
I went to sonic because I was driving my dog around for the holiday I did arrive there at 9:30pm on 12/31/2022, I did see that it was busy so I went simple. I ordered a medium slush and that was all, while waiting I noticed I had a coupon for a free slush which luckily didn’t expire till 1/1/2023 and I was super excited since I’ve never used a coupon before at sonic I thought “oh when the car hop arrives I’ll give the coupon and a nice tip anyways”. I waited about 10 minutes when the screen said someone was arriving soon with my order and I waited another 7 minutes when it disappeared from screen, which confused me so I called to make sure my order was still there and I understandably waited as it was New Year’s Eve. The car hop finally arrived and upon giving the coupon he seemed very upset, he said “why didn’t you tell us you had a coupon?” I really didn’t know it was in my car and it was my first time using the coupon with sonic so I didn’t know it would be a huge deal which I explained it was my first time using a coupon with them. He sighed very irritatedly and explained how it’s a hassle to put in the system now that I added a coupon and he’d need to get his manager involved which he seemed like he really didn’t want to do and then after explaining he said “so how do you want to pay for this” well..with the coupon that’s about to expire tomorrow of course? So he went to get what I assumed was someone involved because the person he told inside in a blue hoodie looked directly at my car extremely irritated and turned back around towards their coworker making aggressive hand gestures as if I was the worst customer tonight ordering a slush and having a coupon. And me witnessing this from the window felt absolutely disrespectful, I was already put off by the car hop and to see the person inside is also having the same attitude at my small order just really made me upset. Eventually the worker did come back to collect the coupon but he did not return to tell me it was a valid coupon to still use with them or if I needed to pay which at that point I would’ve just used the tip and taken my change on the $50 I had planned to give fully to the car hop before this issue, so after waiting a while I did leave. I did not know a coupon could ruin a system and it’s coworkers to the point of irritation but it was very off putting and I felt really upset, I wanted to give a nice tip that night to someone I thought deserved it for being open so late since their morning people are usually nice but I just couldn’t reward disrespectful service. I usually like this location but I can’t support service workers like that and as a former service worker, I’d never give attitude like that to anyone and always tried to solve the issue positively even if it’s with my co worker or manager instead of seeing it as a hassle.
Asked for fried pickles and got chicken tenders no sauce crazy work
I ordered a 12 piece honey bbq chicken wings and they messed it up and brought out a 6 piece, also put a 6 piece on the receipt even though when we ordered, it clearly said 12 on the screen. Besides the point. They brought the food out and I kindly asked the server to fix it. She then directed me to the receipt and showed that it said 6 not 12. I showed her the price difference, proving that I indeed paid for the 12 wings, and she still refused to give me the customer service I have come to expect from years of loving sonic. Our blasts were melted, and they forgot one of our blasts from the get-go. Granted we had a large and confusing order. Never eating here again. Horrid staff even worse service.
Pressed order button, they added a drink carrier before I could speak and completed the order.
He messed up my order. They just took the meat out and put in another bun. Then I complained that I did not have a cheese so he took it back and just slap a cheese and it was already cold by then. Took him 20 minutes. That’s why I took this video and I gave him a tip. I regret it now made my whole other food cold.
I literally got Karened by a worker named Dallas because I wanted French toast sticks as my side, but he said they couldn’t do that so I had to think about what I wanted as a side instead. My order conversation with him took around 2 minutes. When he came to give me the food he talked down to me saying “I’m going to give you some words of wisdom” he then went on to berate me about how long it took me to order sitting there arguing with me for additional 5 minutes complaining about me taking too long to order instead of doing his job and taking care of the other customers. Dallas, if you’re so concerned about time then don’t stand and berate customers and get to work my guy. Actually the craziest fast food experience I’ve ever had.
All the staff was sitting down outside vaping even going to people’s cars to hang out and flirt! We waited thirty minutes before we realize the entire staff is just hanging out! We asked for our drinks and it took another thirty minutes! Fire all of them! Headbuds in, touching all over the cars, vaping. It was disgusting! Clearly management and who ever owns this place does not care. So many cars were just driving off bc they weren’t getting their food. In the hour we were there, I saw like two orders go out. It was CRAZY.
Placed my order in the app, was suppose to have my order within 5 minutes I know they are busy so I gave them extra time, 4 different cars pulled in after me and got their stuff before me I even pressed the red button no one ever came on the speaker but answering every one else stalls. I even stop an employee to ask him he said ok, idk if anything was said when he went back in I had to call corporate cause this crazy work. I was late clocking back in to work.
This location honestly deserves 0 out of 5. We waited over 15 minutes after ordering before we finally left. All we wanted was a bag of ice. It wasn’t busy and there was even staff standing around.
One of the worst locations in the area. Consistently ignored app orders. Food was cold on last two orders. Pickup lanes always blocked with traffic cones.
Service has gone down the toilet. Wait 5 minutes to take order, order one combo, no reply, charge comes up on the screen? No is that all? No anything else? No nothing press the button 5 more minutes. Slightly more helpful human but adds extra items to my order. 20 minutes later! Get food. Total of 30 minutes, extra item, no sauces, not going back to this location for a while ;( 11 months later. Now June 2024. Service still sucks. Press the red button, wait 7-8 minutes with no response, leave and go some place else...
Horrible services all employer are bad there very bad they always on their phone instead of helping customer or delivery service the black tall man tried to fight me he slap me and came outside he want to fight me make sure talk educate your employé next time it happens imma make sure to sue the company I have a video of him already next time we cake there to pick up orde and employees start insulting us or slapping us I will sue y’all forever next time it won’t be good the video imma show the police tomorrow
The service here is terrible. I don't understand why I work here when they can't even say good afternoon. They urgently need to change the staff. I've had several encounters with different employees, and it seems like they all conspire to provide such awful service. Perhaps excellent for them!
Go there an they were not serving anything other then drinks. No explanation. For a fast food place to have no food just seems irresponsible. Unfortunately.
Horrible service. Employees attitudes is disgusting. Even forgot to give me back my change. Their was an older lady, she understood my complaint. The young man even tried to talk over her and still have an attitude. She was alright and knew the new kid was wrong.
This place gave me and my boyfriend food poisoning we were literally in the hospital! 4 day stomach bug!
I don’t know her name, but there’s an older African American woman that works here, she’s there all the time which is probably why her attitude is so disgusting. The way she talks to people is inhumane. You’d assume by her disdain she’s correct in what she’s saying, but she actually genuinely has poor knowledge of the menu and I believe due to her older age she especially lacks the knowledge of uber eats orders. You can clearly see in the photos added, a Mariana dipping sauce is included with the purchase of mozzarella sticks, you just have to select the box. I forgot to check said box and called asking politely for the sauce. She demanded that it’s a $00.27 up charge and refused to give it to me. She is the epitome of loud and wrong.
Took over an hour for my order to be made, 3 different drivers canceled because of how long they were taking, yet they still managed to give me both of my chicken sandwiches completely raw. So disgusting and unacceptable. If I get sick from taking a bite out of this you will be hearing from me again. Fire whoever was working at 10:00pm-11pm when I placed this order.
I usually love ordering from sonic since it’s a childhood favorite. Tonight I had the worst experience. I ordered online and it said my food was ready. I went through the drive thru since it’s cold outside and I’m pregnant. The employee said i needed to wait at the front of the store. This employee was piling orders and orders on top of each-other in VIEW, making delivery drivers and pick ups wait IN THE COLD for a long time! But here’s the best part. This employee came to the window with attitude! She handed me a drink that wasn’t mine and it was frozen SOLID. She then went to the back with attitude and gave me the correct drink. But this time it was FULL of ice, barely any beverage. My friend also ordered at the same time and we BOTH got sick with food poisoning after eating the food which means the food safety here is a concern. This employee is lazy, impatient and messy. No knowledge of customer service. She doesn’t make this company look good. She had no hairnet, and long lashes. Looked like a teen. I believe this needs to be reported to corporate or the manager needs to correct this behavior. I will be reaching out. As for someone who worked 10+ years in food service(me), I would’ve fired her immediately. DO BETTER.
10/7/25: The lady working the front tonight was very rude. On the app, I tried to put stall #10 (the stall I was in) and it wouldn’t let me so I put #1 and it went through. The lady comes out and I see her looking, so I let her know it’s mine. She said “you’re suppose to be over there” I explained to her what happened and she responded “you’re not suppose to be right here,” mind you I’m still in mobile order pick up - I just said ok, thank you. My drink didn’t have much flavor, so to avoid her I went through the drive through. I told the man in the driveway and he said it wasn’t anything he can do, I said even an extra pump and then she jumped on “that’ll be 27¢.” I came inside and waited at the counter. The first thing she said to me was “you’re the one I just told 27¢,” I said yes but can I speak to the manager or the lady right there(M) - still very calm. She said ok, that’s still 27¢. She finally goes to get her and says “ still charge her 27¢ because she thinks just because she knows someone she don’t have to pay.” I don’t even know this lady, just that she’s brought out my order before and isn’t rude. I explained it’s not about the money, it’s about the customer service. She started going back and forth with me saying “ she just mad she has to pay 27¢, if you had an issue you should’ve just came inside the first time, I only jumped in because he’s new and don’t know anything, you’re the only person that’s said anything today, etc. Then a lady ordering said “ yeah, it’s her attitude, she was going back and forth with a man right before you came in” & got upset the lady said that. The lady(M) told her to go in the back and she was still going. I have been coming here for years and this is my first time encountering her. Very distasteful.
The attention is terrible, the staff always treats you badly, in addition to wearing the uniform very badly. They don't wash their hands after touching the money and that's how they're going to pack the food, the time to wait for the food is extremely long more than half an hour and on top of that Apple Pay doesn't work The sad thing is that I see that I am not the only one who complains and the company does nothing about improving this place. Without hesitation it is better to go to another restaurant or die of hunger which is the same as eating in this place
Food was cold and tasted old. The cashier kept rushing us would not give us time to select what we wanted
Absolutely no customer service 👏🏼👏🏼 drive thru was closed when approached at 7:59 ? Doors closed but says open then once addressed had absolutely the worst people skills ive seen so far in a food industry
It’s always extremely slow, rude and there are usually only 2 customers. One woman had me wait till she was done hanging out with a friend to help me. Staff need paid more so it’s less like this. Sad to see a restaurant I love dying.
Went to sonic in Newark and was just terrible. I pull to the drive thru which no lights were on to indicate they open. I pull to drive thru and wait 4 min in which nobody answered so I pull to window and the guy finally says something. I go back around an order the triple smash burger combo. The burgers wasn’t even smashed sandwich looked like it was made by a kid just sloppy and fries taste horrible. The sweet tea was delicious but I definitely would not be going back there again
The staff to this place during the night shift and let me specify around what time this was and date. June 8, 2025 between 12:30-1:20am are so dirty, rude, disrespectful & so unprofessional. So much for being a 24hr spot but only the drive thru was opened! Mind you we had to go around twice to get our food because not only did they messed up my first order, they messed up the second one too! I spent a little over $75 just to get not only all my orders wrong but missing as well! I hope they fire every one of them, especially the manager to that night shift! Thanks to them I spent unnecessary money just for us not eat anything! Sonic head quarters has a lot of explaining to do and they need to do something with their “workers” at this location. Worst Sonic I have ever gone to and most ghetto, disrespectful, dirty and unprofessional!!
its the worst Sonic I have ever been. I mostly come here coz of the late night opening. but no one is there in the late night. plus their behavior is terrible. do not come to this location. spend your money somewhere else. this location needs to be either shut down or let go of their employees to start over again.
Terrible costumer service, I ordered online to pick it up in the store, and my brother went to the store and told my name ( name of the order) the lady was laughing at my name if it’s some kind of joke, she didn’t even give us the drinks, we have to go back and ask for our drinks, she has a terrible actitud, I think she was high or something. The food was cold and in my cheesy French fries they even made it right! The paper of the cheese came in the food 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢 Please considered hiring people with good actitud and more hygiene
