Got here on Saturday a little before 7:00pm. We got seated right away. No wait. 4 tables still open, but slowly filling up. They are well known for their mango and tofu desserts. When you enter on the right, you will see mangoes for sales. Very ripe. They also have them at the register. They serve Asian desserts from coconuts, mangoes, tofu, rice balls, eggettes, durian and etc. You can't go wrong with their mango or tofu desserts.
Friendly service. Easily found a table. Menu is paper or tablet. The server takes your order. Food and drinks came out fast. Everything was delicious. Huge fries portion.
Great dessert place. Would recommend the mango pancakes, as these seem like a staple. They gave free tea with the food which was good! Super friendly staff and good service.
This is my favorite location that I go to when I feel like having Black Sesame with Tofu, or Black Sesame with Sesame balls. Also good is the Tofu with Papaya. Omg. Only during hot days , I will eat that. Depending on our mood, we will either eat in or I will order take out. Yummy. Mom loves their plain Black Sesame. Honey is the only one willing to try other things like The Walnut with Black Sesame, or Black Sesame with Sesame balls to name a few. He is the only adventurous one .. Update: Came to this location because we wanted our friend to try one of my favorite dessert location. We ordered: Black Sesame & Tofu with sesame balls and Black Sesame & Walnut with sesame balls. Yummy. Update: 06/17/2025 Came to this location after dinner. I ordered papaya and tofu. Yummy. Mom had her black sesame. Her favorite.
This small desserts location in Colma is a must visit if you love desserts. I tried most of the menu items and they are all yummy, even the wings and the eggetttes.
It was pa kes when we arrived. Waited 10mins to get seats. My fave passion fruit tea
Sweet Honey Dessert in Colma is an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves fresh, high-quality desserts! Their mango pancake is pure perfection—light, fluffy, and wrapped around the sweetest, ripest mango with just the right amount of airy cream. Every bite is soft, delicate, and bursting with flavor. The mochi is equally impressive—perfectly chewy, fresh, and made with high-quality ingredients. It’s clear they take their craft seriously, and the textures are spot on. Whether you're a longtime mochi fan or trying it for the first time, this place will set the standard. One of the best little touches? The free hot tea! It’s the perfect complement to their sweet treats, balancing out the flavors while adding a cozy, comforting vibe to the experience. The service is always friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and indulge. If you're in Colma and craving something sweet and satisfying, Sweet Honey Dessert is the place to go! Highly recommend the mango pancake and mochi—you won’t regret it!
They get very busy! First time here and love the desserts! Reminds me of my grandma! Had the tofu pudding with coconut milk and mixed fruit and the kiwi ice drink. Delicious and freshing!
There aren't many Chinese dessert places around. Wanted hot dessert. It hit the spot. Tofu pudding and sesame paste soup and a side of sesame mochi balls. Snacking on fish sticks (the menu says fish steaks). Lol. Was happy they gave us hot tea to enjoy our rest and conversation
A great place to grab dessert. The most popping place in the entire area haha. Lots of customers even on a Tuesday night. I tried the snow ice and green tea and vanilla ice cream. Also I had a raspberry and blueberries smoothie with cream.
Pretty decent ASIAN desserts to have! Make sure their their fried chicken wings and outputs rings, they make it perfectly! For dessert just pick what’s in your mind since they all pretty decent. Problem is there is always a huge wait here so come in early and checkin on their iPads at front to book your table.
The dessert is very nice especially the one with durian (real durian fruit and it taste sweet and juicy) love the place everything is taste good, but seems the chair is to tight to each so it make us difficult to move
Loved it! Wait time wasn't too bad.
We have been here since the pandemic and the quality and service have been very consistent. Great selection of desserts and snacks for both kids and adults.
Amazing food, the chicken wings are so delicious, as well as the mango.
Came here a couple of times already. Loves the traditional Chinese herbal jelly. Would recommend.
We ordered chocolate eggettes, takoyaki, assorted fruit platter, ginger milk pudding, and Strawberry Lemonade and mango. Pomelo grass jelly drink. All were very good!
Classic HK dessert spot, extensive menu (almost overwhelming!) But satisfies the asian dessert craving. The service was attentive and quick, dessert came out fast. The mango sago soup base was a bit bland, but otherwise everything was spot on.
Amazing comfort food! Very busy, even late into the evening! The staff were always calm, cool and collected. They got us everything we asked for, but we did have to get their attention for everything.
Tried the durian pancake and it was amazing — super fresh, creamy, and full of real durian flavor. The texture was perfect and not too sweet. Service was quick, and the place was clean and comfortable. Definitely coming back to try more desserts!
Great local spot for dessert. They're open late and have great service. I can always count on them to satisfy my HK dessert craving. My favorite is the black sesame soup.
Best desserts so far in san francisco. I had try many desserts so far sweet honey dessert is the best. The taste of the mango is the most amazing i have tasted in my life
Sweet Honey’s been our family’s go to dessert place in the area for a while now. Great food for a great price! The staff is friendly and very attentive. Will always recommend this place to family and friends!
I love this place! I’m here all the time and I recommend it to a friend. They are very consistent through out the years I’ve been here. Very yummy Asian desserts 💓
It was a really nice dessert place who would really like sweet things. There is so many options for the fruit lovers and it also have durian dessert and their server are very friendly.
Amazing desserts and drinks. My favorite drink was the mango pomelo sago, it tastes amazing!
Amazing desserts and great service. My favorite it the snow white. Perfect If you are craving a sweet treat or ice cream.
Everything here is good! Mango pancake is wonderful I got a bowl of grass jelly stuff and I’m bummed I didn’t branch earlier.
Love this place! it’s tucked in a corner so usually when i go not too crowded. Food is so good i usually get anything mango!
We like the foods and the price is reasonable. I luv dessert!!!
We got some classic Hong Kong desserts. They tasted okay. Wish that they can put things in an actual bowl though. It just looks very cheap with the one time use ones (plus not eco-friendly!) staff were nice but definitely busy. It’s definitely loud inside so consider that. They do open until late night so that’s a plus.
I gave it 4 stars. I've been to many Asian small dessert places in the Bay Area. This is by far the most modern and clean one I've been to. I will probably most likely never give a small dessert place five stars. It has the lot to do with service nearly all the places have poor service. The durian here is delicious based on my honey telling me that. All their variety of mango mix desserts with green tea ice cream. All the grass jelly desserts and there small warm dishes like Curry fish balls and chicken wings are delicious. This is definitely one of my new favorite Asian dessert spots and it's free and easy parking. Update. They use take out containers now. They now have more variety of drinks including!
Want to try quick and quality Asian desserts?! Here’s the place. There’s seriously too many delicious desserts to choose from. This place was simply amazing if you’re looking for a sweet treat after dinner. The wait was a bit long as there was a lot of people waiting to get in…the only downside was that they let people who came later than us in first as we were a table of 5. On the plus side, loved how high tech they were with being able to give customers the menu on an iPad/tablet. It makes it so much easier to navigate.
they released new products, souffle pancake, so yummy and jiggly, total five flavors right now, each one is great! also, the new drinks are amazing! like drinkable dessert in the cup!
MY first Japanese soufflés and it was delicious!! Walked into an empty café on weekday morning, Surprised no one greeted us at the entrance. Took about a 5 minutes standing at the entrance before someone came out from the back of shop. Another 5 minutes wait for the menus. Foods finally came after 25 minutes of waiting which is undestandable as it does take awhile to get the soufflés done. Overall service is ok, aside for the long wait. Soufflés were Yummy!! Plenty of parking in the plaza.
If you’re looking for a nice, refreshing dessert, this is the place! We went here later at night and there was a still a decent amount of people despite being 1 hour before closing (11pm). The menu is quite extensive with many desserts to choose from. We ordered the Purple Yam Snow and Purple Lover Cheesecake. Both were equally delicious and refreshing. Though I will say that the serving sizes were quite small. The Snow was in a small to-go sized container. LASTLY, I can’t forget the oolong tea they served, which complimented the desserts nicely. Other than that, desserts were yummy and I plan to revisit in the future. ⭐️
It was very cozy. The food took a while to come out but it's okay bc ik it's fresh and hot. The desserts were all really good and the atmosphere was a good vibe. Definitely something to experience with friends!
Sweethoney hits the spot if you're craving traditional Asian desserts! I wish they were open more but they have mostly afternoon/evening hours. The menu is a little pricey but delicious. They have everything from both hot soups and cold shaved ice desserts with red bean, taro, tapioca, grass jelly, pudding etc; along with boba drinks and a variety of hong kong style bubble waffles. I enjoyed one of their seasonal cold desserts with mango and my friend got a dessert in a young coconut. If you were hoping to get a souffle pancake, unfortunately those have been discontinued at this location.
Best desserts, especially love all the durian options! Service could be improved though - servers were not very friendly or patient.
This location is still using disposable dishware for dine in customers. I went here many times. Taste is good, just order the one you like.
The restaurant is cute and cozy, and I really enjoyed the Fried Gyoza and Coconut Shrimp. I’d definitely recommend this place to those in the area.
Service is friendly, there’s is quite a wait on a weekend or later at night. All the desserts here are good. If you’re a fan of durian I would say this is the place to be however if you’re not a fan of durian prepare your nostrils because you’re going to get hit with that durian smell the second you walk in.
Every time we’re passing through I stop by for my favorite M8 dessert. We don’t have anything like this in the North Bay. Mango pudding, mango, sago, pomelo and green tea ice cream is a must try! Lots of choices and loved everything I’ve ever tasted from Sweet honey.
The Temu of dessert spot. It looks beautiful on the menu, but when you order and get it, it comes in some cheap takeout looking bowl. Just match your expectations :) But the taste is good. So I get the dessert that comes in the actual cocounut. It fixed this problem and was really good. Also dont order the eggette. It was disappointing.
Second time to this place. It was easy to find a parking spot because the store was inside the plaza. The chicken wings were tasty. The tofu pudding was not hot enough (I especially ordered it hot), so it was fine. The durian pancakes were pretty good, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes durian. The yuzu lemonade was very refreshing and had a very strong flavor (in a good way). I would recommend this place to anyone who likes desserts.
Not what I expected. All the dessert are most likely Asian based. The menu had the flavors listed but the description is very limited. I think most are yogurt based blended with fruits and ice creams. I ordered the only thing I somewhat recognized, mango pancake and it was good and light. It was mango topped with whip cream wrapped with something. The other was mango with green tea ice cream and sago. It was also good. I'm not sure if I'd come back unless I'm adventurous and try another different dessert. The mango pancake was good but nothing i'd come back for specifically. Although allot of people are ordering it. The price was also on the expensive side. The total for both desserts was over $15. Not sure if that's worth it. They do give you free green tea.
There is no service at all. They may think that I don't know Mandarin, so they talk about customers with other staff in the back kitchen, but I heard them all. I reserve the right to sue you because your waiter has discrimination. 0 stars.
This used to be my usual spot for desserts. I ordered 2 drinks and 2 food items. I am beginning to question their cleanliness, my boyfriend found SHARP METAL in his drink. The pictures will show and he literally had to spit it out since it grazed his mouth. He got the purple sago drink so if u wanna avoid it.
Came here and ordered 2 teas to go. They were to focused on to go orders. I step a bit closer to the cashier after 10 minutes( yes 10 minutes) and they seemed annoyed
I came for the soufflé, and they did not have it at all! They should update their menu. In general, the place is too packed. The kiosk is by each other right in front of the main entrance with no space if one is being used
