We ordered the Cacio y Pepe and Mezzaluna with Proscuitto. Both were served quickly and hot. The Mezzaluna was complex and delicious. The Cacio y Pepe was simple and perfectly balanced. We also ordered the house made Sourdough and Riocatta for our starter. Highly recommend. 8/10. The only slight 'drawback' was the water stains in the ceiling, which made next to no impact on our experience, but is an eyesore if you happen to look up. I am only including this last part because I was intrigued by the ceiling choice as it was rather unique and an interesting choice.
First time visiting and we all loved it. The restaurant is larger than I expected, has a great bar and big patio. All of our food was amazing, and I love how their pasta and pizza dough are made daily. We will definitely be back!
The food here is amazing! In house made pasta will ruin you for grocery store boxed pasta. Service was equally as great. Don't miss out on this place it's definitely worth checking out!
My friend and I loved this place! Had reservations and were seated right away! Our server was amazing and knowledgeable about the dishes. Would go back and sit on the patio! Really enjoyed the coffee and dessert- it was extra good!
Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. You can eat in or outside. They have AC van awesome hoppy hour menu. I’ve been multiple time but this last time we shared the lobster ravioli. It was so good. Big chunks of lobster. We also shared the chopped salad. All their salads are good so just choose one I recommend going here. Just look at my reviews, I get around an SC this place is up there!
Husband and I went for our anniversary. This place has amazing reviews for a reason. Every single dish we tried was absolutely stunning. From the flavor, presentation, texture, anything you could consider while eating a meal, it was superb. Squash blossoms, omg. I don’t even like squash that much but these were fantastic. Large portions for the meals, so we got things to split.
My favorite restaurant in Fort Worth! Excellent experience every time. They make their pasta/cheeze/dough in house and such a fresh, seaonsally-rotating menu. Superb service! Ruby is the sweetest; she always helps me pair my wine. Food: Always start with the seasonal Crostini! Cesar Salad Lobster Ravioli Butternut Squash, brown butter, sage tortellini with marcona almonds is one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. Perfection! Vanilla bean & stawberry compote panna cotta was excellent as well with the shortbread crumble.
What a great experience for NYE. We came here for dinner on NYE and we had a great experience. Our server Alexis was amazing! She took really good care of us and everyone else also came to check up on us and help multiple times. The place was packed and service was still incredible. Cocktails were great, and the wine recommendations were on point. We tried the meatballs and the bread and ricotta as starters. Good sauce on the meatballs and very tasty ricotta. For main we tried the Eggplant Parm. It is a really good portion, wife and I shared it. The pistachio cake was ok. Very good experience overall.
Great service. Options for vegetarians but I would not recommend for vegans. Food tasted very fresh. The ricotta and sourdough was amazing (I forgot to take a picture 😅). Personally, I wouldn’t say the portions sizes for the pasta or entrees are large enough to share.
This is our second visit and we drive all the way from Mansfield so you know it’s good for that drive. We love homemade scratch kitchens and this is certainly the place. They only have lasagna on Tuesday nights but wowzer…. It’s delicious. Pizza is amazing also. Got the chopped salad and was equally delicious. If you want authentic Italian, this is your joint. You will pay a higher price, but good food that is homemade adds to the price point.
Seriously one of the best experiences my husband and I have had at an italian restaurant in ftw. First off they have a lovely patio area with outside heaters when cool out, the service was OUTSTANDING and our server Jason went above and beyond for our entire dinner! The food was absolutely delicious especially the agnolotti with butternut squash! Hubby was super satisfied and happy with the tagitelle bolognese dish, and our crostini appetizer was to die for! Our server really made the meal that much better and I highly recommend you request Jason as you will not be disappointed. It was our first time here and definitely will not be our last. We can't wait to go back now!!!
I always know what to expect here. Excellence! Food is top notch... the pasta so so good. I love the seasonal salads and struggle not to always start with the same appetizer of ricotta and bread. That homemade ricotta is the best. Service is always great as well. Only thing I'm not crazy about here is the dessert. That's okay - just have a second appetizer. Or that expresso martini.
This place was amazing. Great patio, fantastic and knowledgeable servers, and even better food. The atmosphere was wonderful. We had crispy pork belly which was a special that was brand new to the menu; a weekly staple, a rigatoni; and we were going to stop there but smelled a pizza from the next table and had to order it. Our waiter picked the best bottle of wine to go with our meal. Reasonable price for remarkably great simple food. We will be back
Incredible food. I've heard about this place so many times and never went and I'm so happy I did. Hands down best Italian in fort worth. Their cacio y pepe, incredible. Housemade ricotta, incredible. All of it is so great. Everything is so fresh and vibrant it's such a nice change to other Italian places that try to imitate but fail at it ( I'm looking at you gemelle) Beautiful food, attentive servers, will absolutely be back whenever I can!
YALL. My new favorite Italian restaurant. Tried the sourdough w/ ricotta for a starter. It was good, but a little bland! We got the tagliatelle bolognese, the lasagna, and the agnolotti. The entrees… amazing. Really enjoy the food. The espresso martini… hands down one of my favorites. It’s on the sweeter side, but absolutely delicious. And I’m picky about my espresso martinis. I will be back many times!
This has been our favorite restaurant for a few years. It was suggested by a friend and it has not disappointed. The ricotta and sourdough starter is our favorite. Tonights service was more than outstanding. Sarah was very attentive but not annoying. Here attention to our needs surpassed our expectations. The meals... Roasted Chicken for me and Daily Fish (Halibut) for my wife. Both were superb. The chicken is brined, then de-boned, rolled, sous vide, then roasted. Served over roasted carrots, potatoes and shishitos. Drizzled with olive oil and it is just plain delicious! The Daily Fish comes in a bowl with roasted tomato, shishitos, leeks, olives capers and acquapazza. Only thing I got a photo of was the appetizer. Will update when we return again. Mmm. It was good!
Amazing fresh handmade pasta. You can not go wrong with the varaity of pasta selections. Two tips. 1. Get a salad. They are amazing. I have had two different ones and they both were one of the best salads I have had. You can share if you like but do not skip the salad. 2. Half price bottles of wine on Monday. A little vino goes great with Italian. The service was great and the GM does a great job as well running the restaurant. If the weather is nice the patio is a great place to dine. One of my favorite Italian restaurants around. We also tried dessert which was amazing.
It's a great place to visit if you want some good pasta in the Fort Worth area. It's a good low key place and it has an amazing vibe.
I love this family owned restaurant. It's a new find. The pizza is just as good as the pasta. My new favorite appetizer is the sourdough and ricotta. I wanted to lick the bowl clean. Ricotta cheese was amazing on the pizza crust too.
excellent for date, you should go to bar first and ask for corner romantic table. the wine is traditional Italian. Tiramisu is delicious. ask for specials. and service is awesome.
The food is delicious, the service is great, and the Tiramisu is so do so scrumptious! It is pricey, but worth it. ❤️ We’ll be back!
Food is good. Must try House ricotta and sour dough bread, lobster ravioli, margarita pizza
Great place! Awesome service. Can’t wait to come back! Our twins loved the pizza!
Our family had an exceptional dining experience! The service was seamless and attentive from start to finish. Every dish was cooked to absolute perfection—flavorful, authentic, and beautifully presented. The bright, welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be returning—this place is a true gem!
This is a very cute Italian place in the clear fork area. All the pasta and dough is made fresh and the restaurant offers a full bar. Definitely a stand out compared to a lot of the other places in Fort Worth and is absolutely worth checking out if you are in the area. Ruby was our server and she was great. Took care of my wife and I perfectly the entire time.
Good wine and great servers and staff and in general. Half off bottles wine on Monday. Come dressed well. Special Shout out to my guy Ernest with the best wine suggestions.
Ruby was an outstanding server that went above and beyond to help accommodate my pizza and pasta cravings!!! She was extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable when it came to helping me choose all the delicious food. The food was amazing—thanks to Ruby's recommendations and I will definitely will be back in the future!!! Once again, thank you so much Ruby for being one of the best servers I've ever experienced!
Great food, wait staff, and atmosphere. But sadly kinda small portions and pricey. Don’t come starving but the food was amazing and high quality! Absolutely recommend for date night!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This bakery café is a gem! The pastries are always fresh, the coffee is rich, and the staff are super friendly. The atmosphere is warm and perfect for relaxing or working. Definitely my new go-to spot!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was my first time at Piatello and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! Ruby was our server and she was amazing—so friendly, helpful, and full of great energy. She helped me choose the perfect dishes and even recommended a sweet wine that paired beautifully with my dinner. We started with the garlic bread and the sourdough with ricotta cheese appetizer—both were 10/10, incredibly flavorful, fresh, and delicious! For my main course, I had the lobster ravioli and WOW… the savory aroma hit me right away and I was literally mouthwatering. The flavor was bold and rich, just perfect. Even the Caesar salad stood out—you can really taste the freshness in every bite. From start to finish, everything was fantastic. Highly recommend this place, and big shoutout to Ruby for making it such a great night!
This was so good! If you haven’t tried this Italian Restaurant you should. The lobster Ravioli was delicious. The bread to the tiramisu was excellent!!!! Alexa gave great service.
Went to Piattello Italian Kitchen for a birthday dinner and overall had a really nice experience. I’d definitely recommend making a reservation, especially if you’re visiting on a weekend, as the place gets busy. The ambiance and vibes are very good—perfect for a date night or celebration. Service was attentive and friendly, and they have a good selection of wines. I ordered wine, and my wife went with their lemoncello spritz, which they call the Amalfi Spritz. Both were great, but the Amalfi Spritz was outstanding—honestly one of the best I’ve ever tasted in the US, very refreshing and well balanced. We ordered the ricotta with sourdough as an appetizer. It was just fine, nothing too special on its own—felt a bit bland and needed more flavor. We asked for a side of balsamic glaze, which helped balance it out and made it more enjoyable. For mains, we ordered a sausage pizza and rigatoni alla vodka with sausage. The pizza was mediocre—I was expecting a Neapolitan-style pizza, but it wasn’t. The crust was on the dry side and didn’t really stand out. The rigatoni alla vodka was excellent. The pasta was cooked al dente, the sauce was flavorful, and the sausage was great. My only small criticism would be that I’d prefer sausage crumbles or smaller pieces for better distribution. Overall: great vibes, great service, amazing Amalfi Spritz, excellent pasta, okay pizza and appetizer. Giving 4 stars mainly because of the pasta, ambiance, drinks, and service. If I come back, it will be just for the Amalfi Spritz, the pasta, and the vibes.
The lovely wife and I went for date night because we were craving Italian. Definitely try to make reservations. We got lucky and the amazing hostess was able to get us in within an hour. From there we were seated at a fantastic table which was there almost floor to ceiling windows the ambience of the restaurant is very cozy. Even a great place to bring kids with the outdoor patio. The service was phenomenal and their happy hour prices are a steel. Highly recommend the bread and cheese. That was the best thing on the menu. All the other Italian food was pretty good. In the pictures my wife had the Bolognese and I have the eggplant Parmesan. It was pretty expensive for the quality. Which is the only reason fir four stars instead of five. Everything else was perfect.
Atmosphere and food were both good. Definitely need a better wine selection (and not as steep as a mark-up for what’s offered). It’s a good meal but be prepared to pay a premium! Thanks to the great staff!
Was recommended this place by some other FW Foodies and was told this was some of the best Italian food in Fort Worth. I can confirm that they are not wrong!! We started out with some warm sourdough drizzled with olive oil and house ricotta. The bread was fresh and crispy from being toasted — they even brought us some extra bread when we ran out. The caprese salad was also very good and light, the half melted cheese on top was amazing. I highly recommend the lasagna. They make this in limited batches and when they run out, they are out for the day. The “W/A” on the menu means “when available”, so you know it sells out. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is for the service we received on a relatively slow Monday evening and obvious leaky spot in the ceiling, along with dust filled return vents above where you’re eating. Our server started off really attentive, but after we placed our food order, he disappeared for what seemed like 30+ mins. Will definitely be back in hopes to bump this from a 4 to a 5!
I went with a friend on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated immediately with no reservations. The atmosphere was nice with lots of real plants. We got appetizers, the meatballs and fried calamari. The meatballs were a bit dense and the calamari was a bit over fried for my taste. I got a pizza and my friend got the Sunday gravy. Both were amazing but man was that Sunday gravy AMAZING. Our waiter was friendly but the service was a little slow. Overall the food was pretty good. The pizza was great but since it was a little more upscale there is no Ranch dressing lol. But the pizza was def good enough to not have it dipped in anything. I will most likely go back but might sneak in a cup of ranch hahah.
Nice place, good food but compared to similar places I think portions are on the small side. I had the short rib and again, it was good but really small portion in my opinion. I would recommend this place for the taste but I will go somewhere else where I can leave fully satisfied. By the way try the crispy brussel sprouts, they are amazing!
Seated quickly at prime time Saturday evening. Waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. Appetizer of sourdough goat cheese sea salt was very nice. The margarita pizza was quite good. Nice open floor plan with good view of the busy kitchen works very well here. Chewed a few grains of sand in the Caesar salad which explains the 4 out of 5.
Food, drinks and service are always good! But If I could change anything, it would be the amount of salt used in each dish. They're not overly salty but a little less salt would be just as tasty
A nice place, had the Braised Short Rib. Came on polenta with mushrooms...not bad but was a bit greasy. What saved this place was the dessert, Olive Oil Cake with Strawberry & Rubarb Compote...now that was GOOD! Great recommendation from our waiter.
We had such a great dinner here. Everything was delicious including the tiramisu. It’s a bit pricey, but we did enjoy our food and drinks.
Piattello is a nice restaurant for a date nice, casual meal or a celebration. I’ve been twice now and tried different things each time. The chicken milanese, rigatoni alla vodka, th crostini, caesar salad and roasted broccolini are excellent. The pizza was okay. Not the best, not the worst. Kind of reminds me of a Trader Joe’s frozen pizza. Would not order the lobster ravioli or cacio e pepe again. Both times we went the service and wait staff were A+. It can be a little pricey but for a nice night out, I’d say it’s worth it. Average about $120 for two people when we go.
We went for the first time recently. The food was really good but really overpriced and pretty small portions. I took my 2 adult daughters along with some friends… my bill was for 3 people, we had 2 salads, 2 pasta plates and 6 alcoholic drinks (2 each). They added automatic gratuity because we had a party of 8 but my bill was $216 😳 And no leftovers ha! The meals include nothing but the pasta… no salad, no garlic bread, nothing. So while we had a nice time and the food was good I don’t see us returning anytime soon. *Was also irritated I was charged extra for 2 Olives in my dirty martini.
We had the lasagna and the saffron pasta. My husband liked the saffron pasta. Personally I did not care for it. I did not taste saffron. To me tasted off. Lasagna was ok. Light tomato sauce. Also, had the mussels. Which were good butnonly came with 2 pieces of bread nit much to use with sauce. We had the flour less chocolate cake and pistachio cake. Desert was a highlight with chocolate martini and another after dinner drink I forget the name. They do make decent old fashioned foe 10 dollars.
My husband and I really wanted to like this place- it’s a very pretty restaurant and our waitress was great. The food was incredibly salty and the flavors overwhelmed the pasta and fish. We were both sick afterward so we probably won’t return.
Good atmosphere and service. First time visiting limited pasta menu had the spaghetti with red sauce which was good nothing special, the sourdough bread and ricotta was bland and the salad was good at best. Probably not go back as expensive for what you get and limited pasta menu.
Food was OK, but small portions, overpriced, bread was hard, pizza was $20 and very thin crust. Pasta sauce was runny and watered down. I lived in Italy for 4 years and have been to many different Italian restaurants. This was the worst experience as I spent $125 for 4 people on the food and only drank water with no ice. I asked the waitress for bread to go, and she didn't put any in my to go bag. Left the restaurant very upset and hungry.
Tagliatelle bolognese was extremely salty. Lasagna was ok. Nothing spectacular, but overpriced. Will not come back. Had a bug in my glass of water. I asked to get a replacement glass of water. I got my replacement, but the waitress dumped my old glass into a nearby plant, and re-served that glass to another table. My waitress was not friendly and I'll just say that she did not seem to have a good day.
This place is definitely not worth the price we both got salads and I can tell you first hand that those salads are not worth $15 I got one slice of a quarter sized salami. The waiter that we had didn't seem all to excited either and just the atmosphere of the whole place seemed like fake people all around. I'm not really sure why this place has so many stars imo it definitely wasn't worth our time or money.
I would say service was good and ambiance is good but food is so bad, we ordered pasta very lessy quantity and its not worth the money you spent. Bill was 70$ just for 2 items, Disappointed!!!!
