Very good food at reasonable prices. They only serve breakfast and lunch. My husband had the Buffalo chicken sandwich. He said it was delicious. I had the pork chop mini meal with mashed potatoes Also very good. They have a very nice selection of senior meals and a kids menu. The service was good and the staff was friendly. This place is just what we needed in this area.

It’s a wonderful family atmosphere and everything on the menu is delicious. The owner and his family are wonderful down to earth people. Great place to eat.

I love this little restaurant. Great breakfast. I've tried almost everything on the menu for breakfast and have zero complaints. Certain days and weekends can be crowed but I've never had to wait long for a table. The food is always hot and fresh and service is always quick and on point.

I came here with my husband and brother-in-law. I ordered the breakfast sampler and was pleasantly surprised when I finished the entire plate. Usually, I do not like most sausage patties and there is too much poorly made food on the plate from places that serve breakfast. Not so here! Everything was of quality, plenty of each food, and I would highly recommend it. The service was great and the coffee is spectacular.

We had a large group. We were in town for a sports event. I called ahead and they were happy to accommodate us. Service was fast and friendly! Food was delicious!

I lived in the neighborhood a couple years before I discovered this innocuous,t quiet gem of an eatery. Everything on the varied menu is cooked with care and perfection, Even the coffee is exceptional: Farmer Bros. brand Caine's coffee served at no expense. My fussy-about-coffee French spouse touted this is the best, restaurant-served coffee she's tasted. THAT is a high endorsement. One doesn't leave hungry and your pocketbook is very happy.

I had the South Beach Salad for lunch and it was delicious. I was surprised by the amount of chicken, I think it was two whole chicken breasts. The soup of the day was spinach, mushroom, and sausage which was also delicious. I was there at 11 am for an early lunch so it wasn't super crowded. I would highly recommend this for breakfast or lunch.

I enjoyed chicken fried steak with 2 over easy eggs. Simple and good. Nice staff, smells kind of musty in the building but 5 stars none the less.

Breakfast here is always yummy and served hot and quick. We ordered food to go last Sunday and they forgot to pack gravy for my husband’s chicken fried steak. We have all probably had that happen to us with all the to go orders recently.... but we had the manager/owner come to our house and deliver the gravy to make it right. And he got here while the steak was still warm so it was quick! Now I call THAT service! My favorite is the blueberry pancakes, the blueberries are inside of the pancakes and ooooh so good! 5 stars ⭐️ you should definitely come and eat here if you haven’t!

This place is nice and feels like home. All the waitresses are nice caring ladies. The food is so savory making you want to come back for more. My personal favorite being the southern scrambler or the breakfast sampler. Even the burger or chicken fried chicken has amazing flavor and portions.

My husband and I ate here today and the food was excellent. The bacon was thick and crispy and my grits were very good. Our entire plate was good. I'm so glad we found this little place and their prices were great. If you haven't been I suggest you give them a try. Sam

First time we have eaten here and it was amazing! We ordered a variety of items such as an omelet, chicken fried steak, pancakes and hash browns which were all delicious! The employees were very friendly and the service was great. If you want a great experience for lunch or breakfast, this restaurant is a must!

Today's their last day at this location. 💔 Rent jacked so high they have to move. 🤬 I'm glad I ordered my delicious food to go as there were packed w/large party waiting. Until we meet again, Lake Cities Cafe 🥂

This was my first time visiting this establishment. Everyone was very nice. The food was delivered the way we ordered it. I would definitely go back again.

Cute place! Food was delicious, and the server was so friendly! She had great suggestions, was attentive, and prompt. Love the mini plates. So great to be able to order smaller portions of the most popular plates.

We called ahead for 26 people. They seated us early. The wait staff was amazing. The food was great, hot and fast. The prices were great. Thank you for everything.

Popped in for a quick bite during errands. Fell in love with the Senior menu & did not gain the usual 5 lbs from eating out. On second trip back found out that they do not add salt while cooking order in the kitchen, that's a +++ due to my sodium restricted diet. I can't wait to try other items on the menu.

I love this place. The food is very good. Great quality and the owner is a cool dude. I love the vibe it's homely. The servers are nice and quick. Everyone is so friendly. I left happy and full. I will come back again.

Great food and wonderful service with reasonable prices. My only gripe is the table "butter" is a soy and canola mix with zero butter in it.

Ok food, efficient service, and affordable prices. Quantities are good. Must have the onion rings, which were excellent. Place is a bit dark inside, which makes it look a tad unappealing and dirty, which it actually is not.

Decent food and value for your money. The portion sizes are good. I got chicken and waffles, my husband got the chicken fried chicken. We enjoyed eating here.

Found this place while we were in town for a wedding. Good cafe for breakfast. Wasn't too busy on a Monday morning. The food came out fast and the service was very polite and fast as well. Tasted pretty good. I had the SOS (biscuits and gravy) which was done very well. A lot of food as you can see in the picture. Wife has one of the fresh egg meals with a pancake which she also enjoyed. She did say some bacon was a bit over salted, but it was the right level of crispy that she loves. I wouldn't mind going back if I was ever in the area again.

Plenty of other places to eat at but if you are in a bind, eat here.

Love this little place. I got chicken fried steak and it is refreshing to get steak that seems to be prepared at the point of order, not a frozen product prepared in a factory! I have also had sandwiches and salads there. They serve breakfast throughout their open hours (I believe they close at three. No dinner service) Service is always prompt and friendly. Try them out, good food, prompt, friendly service, oh, and did I mention the pie?? Great pie!

The food here's always good. It's straight-up diner type food, so if you want something fancy, you are in the wrong place. However, what they have is good, simple, and always served with a smile. The staff are friendly and attentive. My one criticism is the decor which seems tired and a bit dark. It's been done, and it's time to retire it. I suggest lighter colors and doing away with the acoustic ceiling and farm decor. Just a simple, clean, bright place would go a long way. However, it's still a comfortable place and not too annoying for first thing in the morning when you don't want a lot of noise and nonsense. With good service and good food and low prices, it's a keeper.

This cafe is somewhat new to the area. This stop has been multiple resturants over the years and this is the latest one. First time I came it was busy, but we got seated right away. Waitress had too many table and took a total of 20 minutes to get sinks to our table and take our order. Too long! Food took a while to come as well. After getting our food, the taste was okay. I would say the majority as bland. Prices were excellent, portion were very generous. House coffee was weak. Watered down. Table and chairs are uncomfortable and in my opinion not very safe. They wiggle.

Service was good, they were under staffed which happens so the 3 stars are held mostly by service and affordability. If you want a cheap breakfast this is the place. I wouldn't go out of my way to come though. A lot of the food felt processed/frozen. The country fries and pancakes predominantly were not fresh or homemade. They give you a lot of big bacon though!

Waitress was super sweet and helpful. This is just your small town themed nothing special whole in the wall breakfast lunch place. Food was ok.. average..People there are super nice though

Sat quickly, then ignored for several minutes. The next table that was seated after us had a waiter come immediately. Nice enough people. Food was mediocre, at best. Good price; half of what we pay at 7 Mile. But, the prices are the only things that are good. Disappointing, because so many people on Next Door, talked the place up.

First time here and needless to say I won't be back. The food wasn't good at all. Cornbread wasn't cooked all the way, the soup had taste vinegary and the green beans needed a heaping of salt and pepper for some sort of taste.

The service, atmosphere is great. It’s clean and organized but the food is horrible my hash browns weren’t fully cooked, eggs tasted horrible and my moms omelette made her sick the chocolate milk was so bland. So sad I really wanted to like this place

I've eaten here several times and it is usually good...today I ordered 2 scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast...I know there's an egg shortage but today was ridiculous...my plate was 3/4 full of hashbrowns..maybe 5 bites of eggs and the greaziest semi cooked limp bacon I have every had...when I pay for eggs I expect to get 2 eggs. ..not extra greasy hash browns to cover the plate.. Very disappointed !

Great food!! With an Attitude! I walked in with my best friend. Since the beginning I didn't felt welcomed by the waitress. Food was great no complaints, but the waitress wanted us to order fast and leave. We didn't get any coffee or water refills, basically ignored. As soon as we got the food, she brought the check for us to leave. One silver lining was that the other patrons were friendly and said our food looked great. Won't be coming back, thanks.

The waitress was very nice and attentive. Fast overall service! Unfortunately, I cannot rave over the food. I had the pork chops with scrambled eggs and hash browns. I did not enjoy it at all. My daughter had the pancakes and bacon and it was not enjoyable either.🤦🏾‍♂️

The service was really friendly and accommodating, but the food just wasn’t it. The coffee was super weak compared to other brunch places we’ve been to. Plus, the first cup my husband got had lipstick on both sides, which was pretty gross. To be fair, they replaced it quickly and were really polite about it. The omelet I ordered was overcooked on the outside and runny in the middle—when I cut into it, liquid egg ran all over my plate. The biscuit that came with it seemed like it had been reheated and was soggy on the bottom. The link sausage was actually good, but the sausage patty was dry and chewy like leather. The home fries were decent, especially with some hot sauce, but the grits were watery and undercooked. Overall, the staff was great, but the food just didn’t make it worth the trip.

This is quite possibly one of the worst place I have ever eaten. The food was absolutely TERRIBLE. My wife and I were unable to eat our food. My order was simple. Hashbrowns, bacon, and sausage. Not sure how you mess that up. But, they did. We will not be returning.
