Nice spot to get a quick meal without waiting long. At least you could see what your getting and the price isn't bad.

The fact that they are open till 10:30pm, is super nice. Another nearby location closed at 6pm, when the mall closed on a Sunday. So I was able to have delicious food, the line went by fast and the workers were efficient.

The food is always hot w/ nice portions. Best chow mein even my two year old will eat it. He is super picky.

Very strange yesterday but the Orange Chicken was very bland and the terriaki chicken was very fatty. We go to this Panda regularly. Service was super fast for a lot of people.

Had a great time with them for 4.5 years. Now that I have moved out of Bay Area, I will be missing them. I thank all the cooks/cashiers for their hospitality all these years and their great customer care skills. Excellent food for a very low price, I loved their orange chicken and their honey shrimp, you can add a portion of chow mein and it is a complete meal for around $11.

Great fast food. Cheap. Good portions. Really good food. Fast as Nascar. Only gripe could only find one seafood dish( shrimp/ prawn. Oops not sure) but nothing in the regular fish line. Again did I missed a menu? Don't think so.

They serve a good amount of portions, it's a very clean franchise, the service is welcoming and the food is good. There is a lot of seating so no need to wait for a seat. Parking is plenty because they are located in a mini mall style setting. Also they are the only Panda open past 9pm in all of the Bay.

This is the best panda ever. Clean, great workers. I came in at 10:55 and they still cooked up my favorite which was amazing. They were already cleaning AND they still got it cooking. In a day and age of poor service and increasing selfishness Panda Express Westlake is a reminder that good companies and service still exist and is a testament to the culture they have. Model example!

I usually stop by for a quick bite when I’m in the area. The staff here are very polite and welcoming, also when you come in when it’s opens the food is very fresh. Definitely a place to visit when your hungry!

This spot is well staffed compared to other locations. They are efficient and get lines moving. There is a decent amount of seating inside to dine in.

Sometimes their walnut shrimp has stayed under the hot lamp too long. Other times it is perfect. Hit and miss.. At this location..

the service are very good as friendly, the people are standing in line... that's popluar at a lot of chinese foods in a large bowls. it's very great!

Food is decent here. It's the same like any panda express. Nothing more or nothing less. There are plenty of seating around. And the most important thing is cleanliness. It's quite clean here. I can feel safe eating here.

Panda is good option if you want to eat on the cheap side and rather healthy. Daly city location food is not always fresh. It is fresh most of times, but not always. Unlikely other Panda locations like Westfield Mall where the food is always cooked fresh.

Typical "Americanized" Chinese Food. It's overall tasty food for being fast food, specially the Orange Chicken which is the staple choice for most plates. The food is a bit pricey for the amount you get, especially for bigger guys like me. The place is clean and just like in the majority of their chain restaurants features servers who are of Asian descent with an open kitchen featuring cooks of Hispanic descent (which I find quite interesting to say the least). Definitely recommend it to someone who is looking for a change from the typical burgers and fries. -Carlos

Easy, fresh, fast, affordable. I order a bowl (1 entree) with vegetables instead of rice or the so-tempting chow mein. The vegetable mix has less variety than it used to, but is always fresh and any of the entrees have enough sauce so doesn't seem like rabbit food. Serving sizes are big and is plenty of calories like that even if I've bicycled to home depot from sf. (You can get half veggie half chow mein to compromise, even in the bowl size.) The system of walking in one door and out the other, and not lingering, leaves plenty of space for safety in my opinion but you can also order ahead and pick up at the door. ... I don't think fast food workers are paid enough to also judge them on personality, but I worry that this particular store might not have best work environment--other PE franchises seem to have happier employees...

Pretty good experience overall. Limited menu still had a decent variety of options. Ordered two plates, one was fine but the meat portions on the second were small, hence only 4 stars.

My family and I really enjoy the food here. We've been a few times and it's always been delicious. The only reason it's not a 5 star is because the process of getting the food is usually slow, even when it's not too busy.

In the past: The food tastes fine, but the workers are ALWAYS somewhat rude in that they are NOT friendly at all. I don't like their attitude of not being friendly. No hello. No thank you. No goodbye. Nothing. It's like they're prisoners. I rarely buy their food, because the workers appear to be sad, unfriendly, & there against their will. 1/15/20: I went back today. The workers were all happy & polite this time. This was the 1st time I engaged with positive attitude workers there. The food was fresh. I was happy!!! 10/10/20: the food was good & so was the service. 5/13/21: Always tasty. Polite service. 5/27/21: Their food was good the next day for breakfast. June, 2021: The workers were polite & smiled. The food was consistently very good. 10/13/22: Their new fake orange 🍊 chicken 🐔 is incredibly tasty! It tastes just like chicken 🐔! I'll choose it each time!

As a first timer, I was a little apprehensive about trying the food from a franchise establishment but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised! We all know that chain restaurants can be a hit or miss. My cousin got dinner from here as it is family favourite and close to her house. I was a bit confused (or maybe I was just overwhelmed) about the process of selection but my niece and nephew guided me so got there in the end and I was very happy with what I chose - there is a lot to choose from by the way. This branch seemed to be super busy but service was swift and friendly. I'd order again for sure the next time I'm in the neighbourhood.

This location is pretty good. The eggplant tofu is bomb. The fried rice is unfortunately pretty flavorless, but if you get sweet and sour sauce it helps! The people that work at this location are really nice and super efficient, the line was pretty long but it moved quickly thanks to the employees being totally on top of it.

Placed my order online at 4:35 pm. Order to be ready at 5:00 PM. Got to the store at 5:01 pm. Watched (3) guys walk past me and get in line to order in person. 15 minutes later I had no food, but the three guys who walked past me were leaving with the food they ordered in person. At 5:24 I got my food, and this is one of the better experiences I have had there. Manager needs to prioritize online ordering. You shouldn’t have to wait 24 minutes for food on an order that was placed before walk up customers. My receipt shows that the store printed my ticket to start filling my order at 4:52 pm which apparently isn’t enough time to fill 4 items. UPDATE: it seems that got this sorted out now. Food is ready on time at pick up.

Westlake Outside Mall.. Panda is like Fast Food That Is Good!!.. Food goes fast.. However, they cook the food fast with all fresh ingredients.. Sad There's No Inside Eating yet.. It Has Lots of Parking and Stores..

Seems they minimize the food they put on the box plate, and asking always for donation before serving is ok , see it for yourself so that you know , Westlake, or Fitzgerald area.

This specific Panda Express was remodeled after occupying the space from 88 Rice Bowl a few years ago. Since then, there is a more modern interior with a bustling exterior. The last time I was here was a number of months ago and it was a so-so experience. The workers behind the register are sometimes nice, but other times, they're snooty and if you request them to add a bit more or less, they give you attitude. The food itself is Chinese American. I've eaten authentic Chinese food and it's not loaded with excess oil or MSG. Panda Express is great for those that love this place, but even the prices have gone up as well. Parking is pretty cramped due to patrons of Safeway, but it's easy to find parking if you move further from the crowd.

Good when it's open, went there right at 11 when I get off work to seeing people eat inside but door was locked so no panda for me, usually ok priced food tho

This restaurant will get you in and out quick. I prefer going to the Safeway next door for Chinese food. There's usually not online here. The food is typical New York style Chinese.

This is exactly what Asians eat at home everyday. We Asians sure love that firecracker shrimp. It is made with fresh firecrackers for the big explosive flavor. 1000 year old dish handed down from the Ming Dynasty.

There's an Asian lady who usually stays on the first line. She gives small portions unlike the other young guys. I am going to refrain from coming back for a while as long as she's posted there at the counter.

Went in to try out the limited-time Blazing Bourbon Chicken. The spice level was a bit higher than their other items which I loved. The chicken was crispy with a smoky flavored sauce which got a little overpowering by the end. I'd probably get it again but with some other entree to balance out the flavor. Unfortunately I had my lunch interrupted by a lady roaming around the tables trying to sell some stolen or knock-off Apple products. The staff seemed to be ignoring that it was going on.

I ordered bigger plate with UberEATS a couple hours ago today. It was too little and look like smaller than the regular plate. I can't believe it.

I normally love Panda, but today I used the app and I had to verify the order three times, and was charged three times, and it still did not give me a confirmation number! Been coming to panda since 1994 when I graduated from Marine Corps bootcamp and ran to Horton Plaza in San Diego... With this time being the only time I've ever had ANY problem! I'm Panda sad today...

Smaller portions than other Panda Express locations. At 1pm they were out of 2 of the 3 items I wanted and said I'd have to wait 15 minutes. Filthy booths and tables. Unfriendly staff. Not coming back here. Their beverages were not stocked, most of them were empty.

My doordash guy Franny......delivered to nextdoor neighbor and when I confronted him he blamed the address on the app. NOT!!!! didnt speak any english and didnt know his numbers!!!!!!!! I had to run out in the rain to flag him down......I had correct address. BTW....

Food was decent. Ordered chow mein, beef & broccoli (definitely could have used more beef), shrimp, & beyond orange chicken. Giving 2 stars only cuz the PORTIONS of each was HORRIBLE! Looked like portions for a TODDLER. Wondering if all Pandas give such small portions. Definitely wasn't the case a few years ago.

I ordered for take out totaling 10.45 and right as I gave the cashier a 20 dollar bill and 50 cents, he told his co-worker I only gave 30 cents. He didn’t know how to count. And when he put my food in the bag, he didn’t provide any napkins or utensils. Horrible service.

At this panda express location they never include forks with doordash orders. Even after i ask for a fork over the phone and told them what my name on the doordash order it was for i still didnt get forks. NORMALLY Love panda...but got supper skimped out on portions and when I said something in line they said it was normal...nope. Then explain how in my big plate my third side (which is supposed to be the same size) had twice as much meat as my two platted sides combined. And the chicken was overcooked and soggy. Sad day at Panda.

There's no customer service when ordering. Felt as if I was being rushed. A Filipino female gave me a dirt look, cause I made a mistake. I wanted to get the plate but I got the bowl by accident. Food is good, employees need to treat customers better.

Husband called in ahead of time to make his order so he could just pick it up. He waited at the counter for a while as ten other customers got there food and his order was right there at the counter. None of the workers even bothered to help him and they even looked right at him and did nothing as he waited patiently. He ended up just leaving as his food was as good as cold just sitting there.

Everything is always delicious, freshly prepared, and served by courteous Staff. My favorites are Walnut Shimp, String Bean Chicken, and Orange Chicken. The seating area is clean and comfortable. I always look forward to eating there .

Food was undercooked. I ordered today through grubhub, and it was not only half empty but undercooked as well. They're used to be great and actual bowl with what you asked. This was like having bad smashed potatoes (the consistency). They didn't even give me chicken they threw in 3 undercooked pieces and a few veggies.

Now I remember why I don't come to this location the staff are very unwelcoming. In fact they didn't say more than three words during my last visit. I thought it was my turn so I walk up to the counter and say Hi but I guess I wasn't next because they were making to go orders but the woman behind the counter would not acknowledge me until she made about 5 to go orders then was snappy. A few minutes ago I just had a very bad experience with this restaurant, I usually buy there because my son likes Orange chicken. But the woman who treated me today had a way of being very rude. I repeated the order several times and he was wrong, I told her you were wrong and she told me that was what you asked for. Annoyingly, she changed the order and didn't even apologize. There was no manager to speak to. I am also a restaurant manager and the way they serve customers is very bad. I wouldn't give them 1 star for their poor service !!!

Horrible. I ordered a plate and only got one of the entrees instead of both of them. They didn’t even bother to try and put anything on the other side. I understand if they were close to closing and didn’t have the entree prepared, however they should have let me know to try and talk it out or refund it. I contacted customer service days ago and still have not heard back. I paid the price for a full plate and was expecting a full plate.

Failing to read the order and giving me 90% chow mein instead of 100% Fried Rice is really bad. I basically had 2 teaspoons of rice. Why is it that there isn't a 2nd batch ready for when the next customers visit. Parts of the Orange chicken are overcooked.

The food is standard customer service was awful. Warning if you are a white woman and you come to this restaurant with black people there is a possibility you will be treated as black people have for many years. In a very racist way. There are things said in between the words that I cannot get into detail about. But the overall Vibe was very unbecoming. We did not feel comfortable eating there. Ordered a white rice and orange chicken for my son, they only put 5 pieces of the chicken on top of rice that was covered in flour! What happened to panda? They used to give good portions of food.. we pay the right amount but don't cheat on your customers!!

So disappointed the food they serve as today. The fried rice is not cooked right Chowmein is dry to taste,left over green bean chicken the beef broccoli gave me only vegetables no beef for my order . My husband got the Chowmein ,Angus Beef is leftover more celery and onion than the beef angus, the black pepper chicken 4pcs and more of celery and onion. On top of that waiting for almost 20mins and that’s all we get really disappointed the Associate Attitude not good either why Hire workers that don’t wanna be there to serve Customer. I will not recommend this place to my friends not worth your money to buy.

I was at Home Depot at Westlake for work and thought I'd pop in to this location to pick up some quick food. I purchased a bowl with chow mein and honey sesame chicken, and spring rolls. I got back to work and to lunch, and one of the spring rolls was moldy. I didn't end up finishing my bowl. It's unacceptable and I was reminded of why I never eat at Panda Express.

I have been to more panda express restaurants to buy food. The Asian female service in this restaurant, like many other people's comments, is very rude and has a bad attitude. I am also Asian, but I also feel discrimination. Maybe they don't know it. Review for 10/27/2023 The food at this place is the worst food out of all the panda express I have tried. Took a few bites out of my to go order and the food tasted so bad that I had to basically throw all of it away. The food tasted so bad that I felt like throwing up the few bites I did eat. This place is still as bad as a couple years ago. Additional review: I am updating this review because google maps is not allowing me to add another review for the same place. Slightly better this second time but still disappointed about the food. Ordered the string bean chicken breast and the string beans had this foul taste like it was spoiled but it wasn't because the string beans were still crunchy(a bit undercooked). The meat in the beef and broccoli was also undercooked. Review from 4 months ago: It's hit or miss with this place. Ordered the beyond chicken and I am still feeling the disgusting taste. Would not recommend, go somewhere else.

The female asian server is very stingy with their portion. Usually when i ordered a bowl, it would be very mini giant. Im a male and a huge eater. The asian lady serve accordingly to her size. Imagine those American men gotten their order, it will be a huge disappointment. Good luck to this branch
