Dave's Hot Chicken

I went there for my first time today. As I got in, the atmosphere in there was colorful and welcoming. Custom paintings on the wall and nice lights. As I ordered my food, the server was nice and helpful. I got a slider and fries medium. The wait was about three minutes. As I opened the box, the food was very nice looking and it wasn’t thrown around. It came with some sauce, pickles, fries, and the sandwich. The sandwich was so delicious. The fries had some seasoning on it that was also good. This place was very good and I will come back.

Ordering was easy and staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and very hot, cooked perfectly. Prices weren't bad at all for the amount of food you get. Restaurant itself was very clean and tidy, inside and outside. I would definitely recommend and will be returning! Daves sauce is delicious on the chicken! The only negative thing was that they don't offer BBQ sauced chicken because I bet they'd make an amazing one! Definitely try them out, I doubt you'd be disappointed.

Tried the roulette box from Dave’s Hot Chicken, and as a spicy food enthusiast, it was a true feast! The mystery of each wing's spiciness made it a fun experience. The chicken was incredibly juicy and tender, but let me tell you, it packed a serious spicy punch! Definitely a must try for the experience!

The hype is ripe! Tried very hot slider and fries combo. The flavor was outstanding and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Fries were also amazing and had perfect combo of crunch and taste. The staff member was sweet and fun to converse with. 100/100

I got the chicken sandwich with a Vanilla shake and it was delicious! I love the coleslaw in the sandwich and the fries was yummy. Graffitis in the walls makes it unique! Highly recommend it if you’re in the neighborhood 👊🏼

The manager Sammy is wonderful. She is personable, energetic, very knowledgeable and courteous to all customers. She made sure everything I ordered was accurate and was helpful in informing me of the various choices on the menu. I will return very soon because of this experience.

Cool little spot. Small menu but delicious. I ordered the two slider combo, and it was a lot of food! One slider is the size of a regular chicken sandwich! Fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. If you love pickles, they give you a ton of pickles on the sliders and on the side!

Tyler is truly the best! Every time I come to Dave’s, he’s always so friendly, welcoming, and goes above and beyond to make the experience great. You can tell he genuinely cares about the customers and brings such good energy every time.

Tyler M was pleasant, friendly and had great energy. He was working the front by himself during a busy lunch service. He acknowledged the customers and apologized for the wait.

Delicious and very tasty. We noticed it was always full of people. We just had to try it, glad we did. Their service great, the restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is wonderful. The art on the walls is beautiful.

The chicken was really good. Really enjoyed it got the mild & hot and both were great. The cole slaw gave it that extra flavor & honestly it just gave me that a lil bit of that feeling of being back in the south. The Mac & cheese was also surprisingly good, the fries were ok. Overall def a new spot to get spicy crispy chicken when heading home.

And I don’t know who it is that he reports to- or how much he gets paid, but it’s not enough! He was nice enough to give us great advice, some jokes and friendly service. The chicken is done well, with a perfect crispy coating that locks in the flavor. You can choose your heat level, which makes it fun whether you’re into a mild kick or a full-on fire challenge. The seasoning is bold and addictive without being overwhelming, and the sliders are packed with crunchy pickles and creamy sauce that balance the heat perfectly. Nobody seems to do that anymore, and it's sort of special when people do! There should be more good people like this running the entire show because this guy is what makes people like me want to come back to a place like this. There’s hundreds of places to eat around here thousands of other choices to order online, and so on. When you come to a place and you get good old-fashioned great service from a knowledgeable customer rep that really knows what he’s doing. It really makes a difference!

Food at Dave’s is consistent and very good from location to location. Learned today that the hot is a meaningful step up from the medium. Just on the border of painful, but not so much that the taste doesn’t still come through. But I’m far from a spice level daredevil. Don’t miss the cauliflower bites - not on the posted menu, but available if you ask for them as of summer 2024. This location has lots of seats and plenty of parking too so it’s well worth visiting.

Wowwww I can't believe I'm reviewing a fast food place but here I am. Dave's Hot Chicken is what Chick-fil-A should have been. Spicy, complex flavor, and not too greasy. The sandwiches are also pleasing to the eye as the purple slaw compliments the red/orange of the sandwich. The space is well done and feels like an urban 80s arcade. All of your senses will definitely be stimulated at Dave's 10/10 🤯

I have never left a review on a restaurant before, but the treatment and the service that I got at this Dave’s hot chicken was amazing they made me feel like family. Clarissa the manager was exceptional and the rest of the staff behind the counter was great as well. Will definitely come back!!!

After hearing my coworker's rave reviews on the restaurant I decided to give it a try myself. I ordered the #2 - 2 sliders with fries and was fairly impressed. Strictly from a composition perspective its not that different from the McDonald's spicy chicken sandwich pretty much everyone is familiar with. That being said the flavoring is definitely an improvement. The seasoning rub on the chicken was a bit dryer than I expected, but was nicely offset by the sauce and other toppings. It was definitely more spicy, and it was really nice you could choose the heat level. The chicken was good quality and the serving side was fairly generous. Of course the price also reflected that. The fries were good but nothing memorable. The restaurant itself had interesting graffiti-like decorations. The registers and pickup areas weren't the most intuitive but still easy enough to understand as long as you were willing to ask people if they were in line or waiting for their order. The parking lot was extremely busy and crowded. I enjoyed it and would eat there again though the price means I won't go there for a quick lunch.

Dave's Hot Chicken is a unique experience. I like spicy food, and the more heat the better for me. However, there is something about tbeirdry rub heat mix that gets annoying to your nose than savor your palate. I tried the very hot and hot options, and the very hot was almost suffocating. Not because of heat, but it kinda bother my nose to intake a breath. Then there is the stomach burn, which is very annoying. I hence resort to medium heat now, at best. The good is clean and the chicken itself is tasty. The slaw in the sandwich is tasty as well, and their sauce is tasty and sweetish. Will I go again, may be, but I won't order anything aboulve medium.

So I was told that Dave's Hot Chicken was a good place for a chicken sandwich. Have to say the inside was definitely different and cool. I ordered the # 3, which was a chicken sandwich and a chicken tender. I went with the hot seasoning. My food came out hot and fresh. I learned very quickly that I made a mistake, lol. Next time, I will go with mild seasoning. The meal came with fries, which were good also. I would definitely come back here for a good chicken sandwich. Price was a little high, in my opinion, but it was definitely worth trying. If you have never eaten here, then definitely try it.

Menu isn't huge, but the items they offer are very well done. The tenders are quite large--larger than I had thought they'd be and you have the options of getting them as sliders or just individual tenders. You can also choose the "heat level" (ie no spice, lite mild, mild, all the way yo reaper) for each item which is great! Last but not least, the Dave's sauce--so good!!

Chicken’s fairly alright; fries and Dave’s sauce are awesome. Leave a review or check-in on Yelp, and you’ll get a free milkshake, hence the high ratings. Wait time is about 10-15 mins. Found it a bit gross that an employee was openly eating their chips and dipping it (double-dipping at times) inside a sauce bottle from the kitchen that’s used for the preparation of customers’ food. Toilets could do with a better clean from time to time.

So, I say it's not a good place for milkshakes. I might have to stop by some other day to try their foods. The guy that was taking orders seemed that he didn't want to be there, seemed impatient.

I can't believe that I'm giving this a 3 star review but its strictly fir the chicken that should be great at every location. Place is clean and staff is great and friendly but the chicken that I have gotten was almost un eatable.... dried out and with a layer of something that felt like the chicken was done a day prior and reheated in that same fryer.... been to many locations and never had that issue before ... if i wasnt already on the highway coming back home i would have returned to the restaurant and asked for a full refund but i dindt feel like wasting time.... hopefully its one and done but as of today 3 stars is what I give.

We were passing through on vacation and dropped in for a quick dinner. Being quick was the only good part. I wish I had looked around before ordering because the whole place was disgusting. The tables, chairs and floors were all dirty and sticky. The men's room was equally disgusting and my wife said that there was 1 roll of toilet paper in the women's restroom to share between the stalls. Food was mediocre at best, and honestly either their sauce or their seasoning reminded me of ranch style beans...very odd. Definitely won't be back.

I’ve been coming to this locations for two years constantly but all it takes is one bad experience to make someone never visit again, the way the manager handled the bad food they have us is unlike any other location, it was terrible . Chicken sliders were not the same (small), no pickle sides , fries is cold. Won’t be coming back here again

I went here at 9:15 pm and there were not many people in the restaurant. I ordered and waited for my food. About 20 minutes later I walk up front and waited for someone to talk to me and it turns out my food was waiting there for a while, her words. They have a mic they call the orders over. She never said my order over the mic. In that 20 minutes she called one order and it wasn’t mine. I then asked for a refund and that took 10 minutes for her to figure out. The people that work here are not that bright and it shows. I didn’t get to try the food. Very disappointed.
