Bästa restaurangen i Almerimar. Jag har inte ätit på alla men jag har slutat leta efter någon som är bättre. Det spelar ingen roll vad man beställer från deras ganska breda meny, allt är gott.

The Galley was such a wonderful accidental find. The service was so friendly and the food terrific. Free tapas with our drinks was generous, we went a couple of times and had dinner. Thanks! Best service we had on a 3 week Spain and Portugal trip.

I believe the resturant is recently under new management. The quality of the food is excellent and the portion size is generous and value for money. A lot of English hang out here but the menu is varied from fish dishes to curry and Thai. Nice owners and attentive staff. Very good! 😊

Best food in Almerimar. Opening hours 2pm til' 10.00pm every day but shut Thursdays, don't miss out. The kindest, most amiable hosts calle and jan offer the best food, pre ordered off menu available for the fussiest of foodies(like me) tapas, menu del dia or just your favourite. Love this place , honest hard grafting people that you'd love to meet for a night out. Good prices and an excellent charity quiz on a Saturday from 3.00pm (that takes graft too, working for nowt again) love this place, very deserving of every accolade. Anyone who disputes this or low rating either came at a busy time and they didn't have enough time to kiss your precious self

Stopped in here for a breakfast and was not disappointed. The food was first rate and the staff very friendly. One of the best meals we had while on holidsy. The blueberry panckaes were nothing short of amazing. Will be stopping here next time we are over.

The one and only dish to recommend in Almerimar! Served by the supernice staff and yes, other dishes are good-yet not as nice as the cod! This ought to be any Scandinavians favorite place in Almerimar.

The food is First Class. Nothing was too much trouble... I have a nut Allergy and the staff were amazing . I would highly recommend a visit.

What a great place to have excellent beer and very nice food, go on Saturday to play trivia, lots of fun and they have banoffee pie.

The food and service were outstanding . The staff would do enough for you, and even the chef spoke with the customers. The food was cooked freshed and good-sized potions. Overall, the place is a place where you do need to try and great value for money..

Me sorprendió gratamente encontrar un restaurante en Almerimar que tuviera platos británicos. Ciertamente la carta del restaurante The Galley es muy variada y tiene comidas de diferentes países, de momento únicamente he probado el Sunday Roast. Y estaba realmente muy bueno, me hubiera gustado probar más platos y los probaré pirque iré más de una vez. De postre probé el Sticky Toffe Pudding que también estaba muy bueno. Muy dulce para mi gusto pero es que el postre es así. El ambiente es tranquilo y la ubicación del local frente a la Marina es muy bonita. Definitivamente es un restaurante al que iré nuevamente.

La comida muy rica. Platos grandes. Camareros muy atentos. Precios muy buenos, no es caro para nada. Tiene muy buenas vistas al mal y yachts. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Such a wonderful lunch with family. The nut roast Sunday lunch was one of the best I’ve ever had, compliments to the kitchen! The options available were endless. Seating area comfortable. Waiting staff were superb. Super clean toilets. Tasty food with a huge selection, especially for us pescatarians. Highly recommend a visit, we’ll defo be back 😉

We have just had Lunch, the two of us with our dog. The food was amazing, one of the best Sunday Lunches I have had. Jan was super friendly and the Wine she recommended hit the spot!! We had a lovely time and are looking forward to going back soon and to having our Christmas Lunch there. Thank you for looking after us and the food was delicious.

Excellent food and service. On a recommendation of a friend I had the salmon teriyaki which was excellent while my wife had a superb fillet steak. Our deserts were both very acceptable and the overall cost quite reasonable. We were surprised that it was so quiet on a Tuesday night in July but there was a steady flow of diners around us.

While being anchored for the winter in Almerimar, happened to end up in the Galley a few times. Friendly staff, a menu with some excellent dishes, such as the cod or the steak. Generous drinks ;-)

He venido infinidad de veces y ya era hora de hacer una reseña. Estupenda comida y trato muy amable. Todo está muy rico, pero si tuviera que recomendar algo, sería el taco de gambas cajún, una delicia de sabor y frescura.

Unos de los mejores sitios que hemos comido en Almerimar. La cocina estupenda pidas lo que pidas . Platos muy abundantes, repetimos seguro. Camareros muy atentos y rápidos.

Magnifico "Sunday Roast" y Fish n chips. Camarera muy agradable. Los postres espectaculares. Terraza agradable.

Nice location on the waterfront Good Eggs Benedict. We were told reservations are required on Sundays.

Wir waren zum Abendessen dort. Der Service war super, sehr nett und alles ging zügig und das Essen war lecker. Einziges Manko ist das Ambiente, das lässt draußen im Zelt zu Wünschen übrig. Dennoch haben wir uns wohlgefühlt.

An English owned restaurant. 🌞 Wery nice staff actually speaking excellent English. 😉😉 We had a few small dishes from 4.95€ to 9.95€ and it was fabulous. On Mondays a gang of uk guys are playing pool, and having maybe one beer or two? 🤔🤔 Food are great, drinks cold and service perfect.

4 of us visited and we were all very happy with what we ordered. The seabass in white wine and saffron sauce that 3 of us ordered was outstanding. The beer battered cod and chips was also excellent. Situated on the marina so a little expensive but that is to be expected. Will definitely return for the quality of the food.

Vriendelijk personeel! Eten kwam niet overeen met wat op de foto te zien was. De saus ontbrak waardoor het gerecht droog was. Bijna geen publiek. Interieur niet erg cosy.

Leider sind die Speisen recht doll auf englische Besucher zu geschnitten. Uns hat es nicht so gut gefallen. Service war sehr nett

If warm, friendly service isn’t high on your priority list, you’ll be just fine here. Our waitress seemed deeply offended by our decision to dine there. The eye rolls and annoyed comments were complimentary with every order. At some point we felt like apologizing for existing. When we asked if it would be possible to split the bill, she looked at us very annoyed and rather bluntly replied, “How is that supposed to work?” We had hoped for a bit more customer friendliness. That said, the food was absolutely fantastic. Huge portions, incredibly tasty. Real compliments to the kitchen! Come for the food, just don’t expect a hug with it.

The most obnoxious owners one could possibly want to meet anywhere in Almerimar. The food is satisfactory bordering good. However the owner and her partner have absolutely no people skills whatsoever. I asked if I can take my tapa home as I have to eat with my medication that cant be mixed with alcohol. Reply - NO ABSOLUTELY NOT. WE DON'T DO TAKE AWAY TAPA MATE. Who refers to a customer as mate? Go to the Stumble Inn. Far nicer people, with manners and etiquette.

Absolutely NOT a pleasant experience compared with another establishment on the same street. Straight away we did not feel in the least bit welcome despite politely requesting a drink a drink each. Other customers were given Tapas whilst we were not. We left after one drink when if treated reasonably we would have spent more money. Despite the relatively nice decor we do not recommend The Galley & will definitely NOT return to spend any more of our hard earned money.

Una decepción!! Nos pareció un buen sitio para tomar unas cervezas, nos dijeron q ponían buenas tapas, nuestra sorpresa fue que nos quedamos con las ganas de probarlas, en cambio a las demás mesas si les pusieron, todos eran extranjeros y nosotros españoles, será por eso?? No volveremos lógicamente!!

3,50 por un tercio de cerveza me parece que ya está bien. Las tapas además regular. El sitio un poco feo. Por decir algo bueno las 2 chicas que nos atendieron bien.
