Never have I had fresher food! They got tacos for breakfast, lunch AND dinner! Definitely a must try!

Delicious! We've come to this particular location several times and the food is always consistently hot and fresh. The tacos and quesadillas are amazing. Wish they had a location in Las Cruces!

I am fan of Taco cabana. As a tourist and on top of it vegetarian, i do not like typical American outlets but taco cabana hits the chart. Amazing black beans with tortillas along with fresh salsa sauce is as good as my fav Indian food. Loved potato jalapeño burrito as well 😍 Have tried taco bell numerous times in India but Taco Cabana is far better !

Very happy having breakfast here. Taco Cabana’s mobile app works really well and their rewards system is generous. Most breakfast burritos are under $2.00 and even the cheapest one is great. You can make it a “combo” by adding coffee for about $1.30 more with your purchase of 2 burritos. I used the quotation marks because I imagined the combo would throw in hash browns lol! But that’s ok because I loved the coffee and you can help yourself to refills of it. To be frank, the salsas don’t taste that fresh. It seems they ship them already prepared from someplace far away except for the cilantro.

Came to El paso very intimated by how many taco place options I had so I hadn't gone to any. My hubby doesn't like Mexican food but suggested in a rush that we come here through the drive through. I had shredded chicken tacos and he had the beef and chicken crunch pizzas. Wow! They left a impression because we're here again today. This time we decided to sit inside and eat! There's a salsa bar inside. Great service. Fast service. We kept ordering more lol. The mango pies are soo good. This isn't taco bell, it's on another level!! Very affordable. What more to say!

First time at a taco cabana... It's something when the tacos here were better than the tacos I had in Juarez, Mexico. Spent three days in Mexico, and this was the first good meal I had all week! The brisket tacos were moist and flavorful. Good portion of meat in each. Chicken tortilla soup was also tasty.

Came to TC for a quick meal. I ordered the fajita bowl and I got a perfectly adorned bowl. It looked just like the pictures. It was definitely during a slow time when there were no other guests and no line.

This place opens super early so it's great for those early morning food runs. Picked up 2 dozen breakfast tacos, chorizo with egg and bacon and egg for $21.99 each dozen, but if u do the TC mixed dozen its only $19.99 each dozen. Eggs were properly cooked thru, chorizo had a great flavor. Staff was courteous and friendly. Food came out fast and order was correct 👌.

Taco cabana is one of my guilty pleasures. And this one didn’t disappoint. The nachos were delicious, enough to feed 3 of us and I’m a fan of their mini sopapillas. And the frozen margaritas are the cherry on top. Very clean location and staff is great.

En route to California, we aimed to savor Mexican food near the border, expecting it to surpass options farther away. Regrettably, our hopes were unmet. The steak tacos proved far from tasty, while the chicken ones were passable. The saving grace was the rice and beans taco, the lone highlight of our culinary exploration.

I really liked their new tacos but I asked for 3 Salas n the just gave me 1. My large Chile con queso was good but came in 2 small containers. Unhappy about that, I pd for a large. Also the margaritas was absolutely yummy and after the hard day I had. I came home ate my tacos n drank my margaritas n instantly felt better

Typical chain eatery. Cool place to watch the corn tortillas being squashed by a calibrated machine and then cooked both sides along a rotating conveyor. The tacos were loaded with finely chopped meat which renders them as a bigger bite than one thinks they have. Staff if minimal. So help yourselves to cleaning the table you wish to use if that is what it takes.

I got the Shredded Chicken Cabana Bowl without the Tortilla bowl. I added black beans and queso, to keep me somewhat inline with my meal requirements. They also offer a #MilitaryDiscount .

One of our regional favorites! This location has a more limited menu compared to other New Mexico locations, but what we tried was great. We enjoyed the potato and egg and chorizo and egg breakfast tacos, as well as the eggs Mexicana. We arrived early, and the service was quick and the food was fresh. They even brought our food to the table. The salsa was especially good. Great place to stop and eat.

Went here with a group of friends and walked away with mixed feelings. The food was okay, didn’t have a ton of flavor in my opinion. The service was good and they were kind. The atmosphere felt like a mix between a fast food restaurant and a sit down restaurant. Kind of confusing.

Just like a lot of post COVID places, customer service has diminished, prices are higher for less quantity/quality of food and not to mention basic restocking of items or goods was not there. I have gone to TC for decades, please please bring back the good service.... And the fully loaded salsa bar.

First off, the food was served somewhat cold. All the toppings were put away before we even ordered and while ordering no one told us that all the toppings were being put away or that they were closing soon. The coffee and tea were gone, n some of the fountain drinks were not dispensing right. Maybe next time will try drive thru.

The only good thing about this place is the 2$ all day everyday margaritas, and the Chorizo tacos but everything other then that is just plain unsatisfactory. Your given a small boat looking tray and some aluminum foil as plates to eat your food. Rice was okay but needed some flavor. Another big thing is….where’s the Tapatío? On the bright side though the prices are extremely low maybe that’s why you get what you paid for? I don’t know but MARGARITAS! Yes! Take and Go on those.

The restaurant was quiet and clean at midnight but the food was lackluster. The chicken was hard and dry and the black beans were undercooked.

EDIT: Celiac, Crohns, and alike peeps!! I feel lied to by employees, but they are probably just uninformed. Unfortunately, they add wheat to the corn tortillas used for their new Mexican pizzas. I found this out after I had a reaction and downloaded their nutrition facts. Yet another item I cannot eat there! Sad Taco Cabana's Mexican Crunch Pizza made with corn and flour (wheat) tortillas. 🍕 Do it! The beef is good, the chicken is better and the carne asada is on point 👉 cheaper and way better than Taco Hell and they use real meat!

Always the friendliest staff but one if you are going first thing for breakfast you take a risk of getting a rock solid hashbrown and a chorizo burrito that will literally become a waterfall in your lap. The iced coffee will also taste off like the pot or something hasn't been cleaned or throughly washed out after cleaned- hard to point out the weird after taste.

I hate even writing this because Taco Cabana is literally my favorite and I used to work there myself, but this location is a mess EVERY time. Last night at the drive-thru they kept my debit card. Didn’t give it back. On top of that, the manager was extremely rude when there was clearly already an issue happening. I also was never given my drinks, had to honk and tap on the window just to get another employee’s attention because nobody bothered to check. Then I get home… no guacamole. Of course. Because why would an order ever be right here? This is the location right up the street from me and I keep giving it chances, but there is always a problem. Poor communication, bad attitude, missing items, and now holding onto customers’ debit cards?? That’s not a small mistake. I love the food, that’s why this is so frustrating, but the service at this location is consistently awful. Do better.

Taco Cabana has significantly changed over the years. I remember, Taco Cabana, as the popular "go to place" on Sunday evenings. On a warm Summer's night, it was the perfect place to hang out with family, food, and music. They would have a live Mexican (Mariachi) band playing, and they would open those big patio doors, with an indoor/outdoor, open area, that was both familiar & inviting. They would sell their most authentic Tex/Mex food, that would feed the entire family with enough to splurge on a REAL pitcher of Margarita on the Rocks. (Hate those slushy type, brain freeze cocktails) But perhaps the most important and significant thing was, they used to provide a sense of unity, community, and social culture traditions. Now Taco Cabana is, cold, empty & completely, just another fast food joint. What a shame. Today not so much.

I placed a catering order on the Taco Cabana website and received email confirmation of the order. I called the store multiple times to confirm the order, but no one answered the phone. The next day, the day of order delivery, no one showed and the store said they didn’t know of the order. I showed them the confirmation. The person who said he was in charge of the store was unapologetic and seemed unconcerned that they don’t know of orders placed and charged from their website. I then proceeded to wait a long time for the order to be prepared and to take the order myself. Very very frustrating experience.

Went drive thru tonight. 10/13. Tacos were disgusting they tasted odd left a nasty taste in my mouth. Fed the rest to my dog and he too was disgusted by them and my dog is not even a picky eater. I got a torta too and it was COLD Just like the tacos. It was a bean torta with onions no meat in the whatsoever. The rice? The rice was so salty and you guessed it, cold! It was my first time trying taco cabana and I’m never going back. No napkins, no utensils and no salsas? I wish I was exaggerating with how disgusting this place was but I’m not! It is truly bad! Worst customer service of any Taco Cabana by far. Came to this location for a group order with lots of tacos, enchiladas, and more. I ordered a quesadilla and the staff charged me for it and never gave it to me. It wasn’t till I got home, driving 50+ miles away till I realized that it wasn’t in the bag. Frankly, it shouldn’t be my responsibility to make sure all my food is in the bag when I get it, especially when I’m ordering for 8+ people. By the time I got home, it was too far to go back, and the store refused to refund me for my purchase. I’m exceptionally disappointed and upset by how they handled the situation.

Worst taco cabana I've been to. Ordered and then realized the guy didn't know what he was doing and we had to reorder with someone else. Menu is skimpy compared to other taco cabanas I've been to. Went with a group of friends on Monday. We were all excited about the $2 margaritas (all day on Mondays in January) as seen on the MY TC! Rewards email. The cashier looked like he was miserable, plain rude to some of my friends. When I showed him the email for the margaritas, he said "well it's coming up as $3" stone faced. I didn't want to make matters worse, especially since he was already hating life so I didn't push it. I understand having a bad day and what not, but when you work in customer service and you have customers who are actually trying to make your job more enjoyable by asking "are you okay?" and smiling despite how you treat them, it's not okay. Thankfully the food was good and we all had a great time. I suggest providing better customer service and honoring offers even if "the system is showing" something else. To SUM IT UP, HORRIBLE SERVICE.

So it's my go to place to buy a breakfast bowl on my way to work. I never have a problem ordering one with two flour tortillas. Well today I order it like always, so the new GM said he did not know how to do it and that the old GM is not there anymore. I can't believe he did not want to help the customer, me. This was our first & last time here! It's El Paso, I was expecting more authentic Mexican food. Taco Bell is 100% better than this food. I ordered steak tacos with guacamole, and I received them super cold! Literally, it felt like they just took them out of the fridge. No warmth at all! When I told them, the staff, which included a manager, were on the defensive side and said they were cold because of the cold guacamole. Yes, ma'am, I could understand that, but were the tacos sitting out for hours? Cause they were completely cold! Then they took forever to make remake them. Besides the gross food, the manager has a really bad attitude.

I ordered nine fajita tacos, and these Shameless workers, gave me seven tacos and then wrapped up two tortillas in foil Karma and they did not even bother to make it look like nine. There was eight packages one only had two tortillas with no meat how Shameless can they be. These tacos are $4 and change a piece. I will never go back to a place like this or recommend to anybody.

People here are extremely rude. If you order and decide to cancel it because you don’t want to purchase from them after all due to horrible customer service, they tell you, “well you have to cancel on your terms.” What the heck does that even mean? The chicken fajita torta I ordered was ok, but I have to leave this feedback because after a couple of bites I bit into a piece of plastic that was from a bag inside the sandwich. I only reported this to one of the employees. She offered to make me a new one, but I declined. I will definitely not be going back to this location.

I went in just to weigh my food and take my time making sure I was charged fairly — something any customer should be allowed to do without pressure. However, the entire process took much longer than it should have, not because of me, but because of how unorganized the station was. There was no clear guidance, and no one offered help until I asked twice. But what made the situation worse was the way the manager treated me. Instead of being understanding or offering any support, they were rude and dismissive, making it feel like I was a burden for simply wanting to double-check what I was paying for. Their tone was completely unprofessional, and I left feeling disrespected and frustrated. It’s disappointing to be treated this way as a paying customer. I hope management reflects on how they interact with people — we deserve better.

Well I spent a total of 53.46. I ordered the beef nachos w/ NO BEANS && to my surprise I had more beans than beef thank god I’m not allergic to beans but if I wanted bean nachos I’m sure I could have ordered that

I have to say, my experience at Taco Cabana was really disappointing. The tacos were extremely bland, the tortillas were soggy, and the meat wasn’t cooked all the way—it had this off, greyish look. There were no salsas, and everything just tasted completely flat. It was an all-around bad experience, and I won’t be coming back.

The rice was horrible it tasted like if they had giving us the one from a day before it was so hard no salt! the meat also was so bad , also the tables were most of them dirty so i didnt even know were to sit the cashier speaks so low so i can berly hear her she also was taking long to give me the change seem like she didn't know what she was duing, 1st time last time coming here !! Evrything was just off !! Food was HORRIBLE!!

I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life. On 12/7/25 around 10:10–10:20PM, my husband and I were literally trapped inside this Taco Cabana against our will — and the place doesn’t even close until midnight. We went in because I wasn’t feeling well, and the older woman working there told us we had to buy something just to use the restroom. When we walked out, we realized she had locked almost every exit while we were still inside. No warning. No “we’re closing.” Nothing. She locked us in because we didn’t but anything and wanted to force us to buy food because we used the restroom. We only got out because another customer noticed us struggling and pointed out the ONE door she didn’t lock. If she hadn’t said something, we honestly don’t know what would’ve happened. What blows my mind is that no legit business teaches employees to lock customers inside a building. Ever. That’s not policy, that’s not “closing early,” that’s just reckless and dangerous. I already reported this to the El Paso Fire Marshal, and they’re sending someone out, because this is a major safety violation. No one should be locking customers in or trapping people inside a restaurant. Completely unacceptable and honestly scary. Update to the owners response: we didn’t “feel trapped “ , we were trapped. Your employee purposely locked us in because she wanted to make sure we didn’t leave without buying anything. How about you take responsibility that your employee was wrong, rather than responding that “ no one should ever feel unsafe or trapped”, while ignoring that she locked us in.

We chose to order another menu once we were at table when she took or food she insisted of placing it on the table went ahead and passed it right thru my face to handed over to my companion sitting right next to me while I was about to take a bite of my taco literally her arm más so close I could’ve taken a bit of her arm .

Disappointing experience. I had trouble understanding the cashier - speaking quietly & not enunciating. And I specifically asked for the salsa on the side not spilled all over the enchiladas. But I don't have the patience to wait for them to redo it. Can't imagine coming back. Edit I forgot to mention I didn't get any tortillas either.

I dont understand how you mess up an order of white queso. I asked for white queso and chips that's it. They gave me a bowl of slop. I couldn't believe they mixed beans, meat, and avocado in the queso. Where is the white queso? I was fair and i tried it but it was disgusting and it didn't taste like queso because they put so little. how hard is it to follow instructions? I never said i wanted the dip. Also dip with extra stuff i dont want $3.99 and for queso and chips $6. This place is expensive.

I went yesterday morning at 9 to eat breakfast and the cashier was rude. She had me repeat my order 4 times. As I sat eating my food there was this cleaning guy with gloves on cleaning the windows, walls, out side trash cans all with the same towel and he comes inside and wipes down the salsa bar using the same gloves and towel!! Disgusting. Not only that he picked up a box that fell from the counter with the same dirty gloves and placed it back on top of the counter and the employee placed food in the box that was on the floor and picked up by dirty gloves. I lost my appetite. It use to be good but after seeing all that I'm not going back. This was the location on Geronimo and gateway west by Bassett.

They have been serving you scraps as if the rationing the order. The burrito was wrapped twice within itself and as much egg inside a taquito. This wasn’t a flauta it was a breakfast burrito. This place even forgot part of my order and had to go back with no apology for the screw up.
