Omgosh I've found my new spot!!! Wingstop on N. Tarrant (Presidio) in Ft. Worth!!! Absolutely the BEST experience! I'd ordered ahead of time online thru Uber Eats, and had left some stuff off my order. Normally I wouldn't have bothered trying to fix my mistake, because I've not had the greatest experience with the OTHER location I've been to when I needed something... but these guys were GREAT!! Monica (the manager) added sauce to my wings and made sure it was exactly what I wanted, even checking with me twice to be sure it was right! You could tell this staff works really well together too, working as a team on orders, laughing and totally enjoying being there! Marcus, Matthew, Nigel & Eddrain were hustling in the back, working to get orders out... No goofing around or employees on cell phones!! It's good to see how things run when you've got a good manager working with a great staff. I will definitely support this location going forward- customer service was excellent as I didn't feel like I was being a pain in the butt asking them to do extra things for my order!!! FIVE STARS all around for these guys,!!!
I went in a few nights ago and a very nice young black man with twists in his hair made conversation, cracked jokes, and overall genuinely put me and who i went with in a good mood, while i don’t expect 10/10 service and quality from most fast food places and never tend to write reviews, when someone goes above and beyond just to be kind, they’re employers deserve to know how lucky they are. unfortunately I did not catch his name, but he needs a raise immediately!
I’ve ordered from this place via Uber Eats tons of times, and most times the food is good. Only thing I don’t like is how my food takes 40+ minutes to get to my house, but that’s on Uber Eats and not Wingstop as a whole. Prices are kind of insane for delivery via the main website, but then again it IS delivery.
The food was very good and the service fast on a Monday night. However they still like to place some of your wings directly on the Styrofoam instead of on the paper inside the box which seems unsanitary. Also make sure to grab all your extras like napkins and utensils because they don't put them in the bag.
This is not about the employees there but about the actual food!! Wingstop changed its fries and they are much worst. Cheap frozen type that you get from walmart for $2 a bag of 5 pounds. Wingstop increases prices and provides lower quality food. Im not orderikg fries anymore. I also found this in my fries and I have no damn idea what it is. It looks disgusting.
I normally don't share experience when it comes to ordering fast food but this has happened multiple times now. I placed an online order around 11pm last night. Just 10 boneless wings, fries and a drink. I got my order confirmation saying it would be ready in 15 min. I got to store at 11:20 and the first thing i notice as i walk in is all of the kitchen staff standing in a group of about 8 or 10 in the kitchen just talking. The girl at the front asked if I was picking up and I told her my name. As she went back i looked at the screen that shows the orders, but i didn't see my name. I double checked to make sure it was the right location which it was. The kitchen staff were very loud and playing inappropriate music. The girl came back 5 min later and told me they were waiting on the fries. So i was like okay, I've worked in restaurants before and i know it takes about 3 to 5 min to cook fries. I ended up waiting 20 more min just for fries?? When the girl brought my food up i double checked to make sure it was all there and it was. When i got home I was very underwhelmed with the size of the boneless wings. I wouldn't even call them wings, much less nuggets. I ordered 10 and probably got the equivalent of 6 wings. The fries on the other hand were fresh. As i said this has happened many times I decided this will be the last time I go to this store. I know the people that work there are young, but the management should be held accountable for the lack of quality and professionalism this store offers.
Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches on New Years Eve. Thought they tasted a little off. Ended up awake all night so sick - vomiting and a splitting headache. Felt like I was going die, ruined New Years. Probably will never eat here again.
Worst wing stop experience. Forget the long wait after ordering online, The taste, the quality , never again. Prices go up quality goes out the window.
I would maybe give 2 Stars if my fries had any seasoning at all. Fries ordered extra seasoning, and well done. Seems like they just took a dip in the fryer and straight to the basket. I could count the individual grains of salt on a given fry. Where’s the sugar, garlic, and other ‘seasoning’? Also, I ordered 5 hot honey bone-in wings, which I can only assume is code for ‘no sauce’ because like the fries mentioned, these wings dipped their pinky toes in the fryer and were dropped in the basket, completely avoiding any sauce. I ended up paying full price for the sides and dips due to a Door Dash deal about BOGO wings. I may think again about giving 2 Stars, because the hot flavored wings were as expected. Don’t be stingy with the seasoning shaker next time, and maybe check if someone actually ordered ‘naked wings’ before you box it up.
FOOD/DRINK SAFETY ISSUE: I picked up an order from here on 8/6/2023 at about 8:55 pm. The young lady working the cash register (Hispanic, long, straight, brown hair w/extra long nails) attempted to hand me three cups to prepare the drinks for the customer. I told her I don’t make the drinks. She just looked at me with her hand in the air still trying to give me the cups. I said the health department doesn’t allow us (delivery drivers) to ‘prepare’ drinks. She really glared at me then, walked off and prepared the drinks. When she was done, she handed me the drinks, I told her “thank you” and she said nothing back. Below is a list of the issues here: 1. I sat in my car for almost 10 minutes before I walked in. They were very slow. This young lady was consistently on her phone when she was not with a customer. When I walked in, there were zero customers in the restaurant for about 3-4 minutes prior to and she was on her phone. If employees have time to be on their phones, they certainly have time to do their jobs and prepare the drinks for the online customers without getting mad at delivery drivers declining to do so and provide appropriate customer service. 2. Delivery drivers do not work for Wingstop or any other restaurants. It is an employees job to prepare the food and drinks with the exception of the actual customer being present to pick up their order. They get paid to do this, delivery drivers do not. Not sure what changed, but up until recently there was never an issue or expectation that drivers should prepare drinks at this specific location. 3. Restaurants within Tarrant County are required to have every single employee take a Food Handlers course in order to work in the restaurant. There are very specific guidelines for cleanliness and proper food and drink handling that include employees washing their hands as needed before preparing anything. So for management to think its ok to allow delivery drivers to prepare drinks without proper Tarrant County certification and CLEAN HANDS, is a violation and should be reported as such. If I go in there again and they try to pass drink preparation off to delivery drivers, I will report it. I went back up there to pick up another order and again the same employee is back on her phone & this time I took a picture which is attached to this review. I unassigned myself the order to avoid dealing with this employee again.
Me and my family came here at 10:40pm and this is what we got. The order takers had serious attitude as if we are the reason why they we’re supposed to close at 11pm. If you as an employee can not handle your shift, then do part time instead or find another job! We literally got our fries from a dirty oil. This is very unacceptable knowing that we spent almost a hundred dollars on food that night. NEVER AGAIN.
I never left a review before, but this time, I felt like I had to. I ordered a family pack(24 pieces) bone-in, plain wings for my kids, but they gave me this...Now kids cannot eat because the wings are so spicy and dry...the boneless wings were cold. Very disappointed and will never visit again. It was about 15 min. drive from our hotel, and back and forth driving and another 20 min. wait for the wings surely don't seem like worth it. Who knows what the employees would do on my next order after complaining? I would suggest the owner or manager to seriously review how the employees are serving customers. Just wasted $35.
The bad reviews are all true. Experienced almost all of it when I went at night. Waited almost 45 minutes for my online order I placed 15 minutes prior to showing up. So over a hour total. Kids (employees) just messing around. Maybe 1 person working while the others mess around. Also a younger guy with dreads that doesn’t even work there, goes in and out of the kitchen to mess around with the employees. Annoying and obnoxious environment. Never going back. And they still make door dashers fill up their customers drinks.
Walked in for a takeout order, we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time I place three orders for 6 piece wings, it took and hour to get my order!!!! Four people in the back, only one guy making wings, not multitasking by using multiple fryers or making the sauce while the wings were cooking. Making everything one by one. No urgency, in that hour I was there more customers walked in and I just assumed they were also going to wait long since mine took an hour to get. I will never go back to this wing stop it seems like they’re all the same, never any urgency or even at least an apology for the wait, even if it’s fake at least acknowledge it took long. And the girl taking our order had an air pod in and didn’t hear our order and it was wrong.
⸻ I had a terrible experience with my recent visit. The cashier got our order wrong the first time—we ordered two 8-piece wings, but they gave us the wrong flavor. We returned the food, and instead of fixing it promptly, the cashier just took it back without saying much. We waited 33 minutes with no update, so I had to get up and ask about our food. No one even attempted to bring it out. Then, after waiting another 18 minutes, they brought us another wrong order. By that point, I had lost my appetite and just asked for a refund. The so-called manager, Hope, said she couldn’t find my receipt—even though I handed her the paper copy and also showed her the transaction on my phone. Completely unacceptable. If this is the kind of service your store provides, maybe it’s time to reconsider who’s running it. This was beyond frustrating.
Ordered wings at around 11 o’clock on Tuesday night and was quoted over an hour. Got there at the scheduled time the food was ready, but after getting home, the wings were extremely overcooked with no sauce. Borderline un edible because they were burnt and hard as a rock. The fries were also cold with little to no seasoning. Unacceptable paying $30 for a cold overcooked un edible meal.
I realize it was a busy night but I waited a full hour for 2 large frys. I didn't order any chicken so I don't know how it could possibly take that long. When I got home, the had given me 2 small orders not large. They have no idea how to run a restaurant. I was watching them pull out fryer baskets with 10 wings when they had 20+ orders waiting. They were literally dropping one order at a time, finishing that order and starting another one. I managed a full service wing restaurant for over 10 years. Whoever is running this place has no idea what they are doing. The kids working were nice enough but just standing around clueless how to resolve the problem. They were quoting walk ins 45 minutes waits. You shouldn't wait that long at a sit-down establishment. Won't be back to this Wingstop again.
My order was supposed to be ready in 10–15 minutes, but when I arrived, no one was even in the kitchen cooking, the staff were all in the lobby talking. Even the manager was sitting in the lobby chatting with an employee’s family member instead of assisting the kitchen or greeting guests who were walking in. In the end, my food took 40 minutes to be ready. I won’t be wasting my time here again.
I came in on a busy night. The first employee was dismissive. Just "its not ready". No introduction. No hello. She blank starred at me until I finally realized she wasng going to speak so I asked about my order. She went and looked and said "its not ready" Just those four words and then she turned and walked into the kitchen. I noticed that they have a board with a list of the orders with our names in order. I went back to the front and asked a different employee to be marked as here on the board as I saw it next to other names and she basically tried to convince me to cancel my order before she finally change it. She told me it would be 30 to 45 mins. Instead it was less than 10, but it was cold and drowning in sauce. So im guessing they just threw together some old wings instead of making us new ones.
