ALWAYS A GREAT TIME AT GLORIA’S! We flip flop between this one (if we’re going shopping) or the one in Prosper (because it’s closer to where we live). This past time we came to the Gaylord location. We walked in 45 mins before close for margaritas, plantano Frito and ceviche — our go-tos every visit if we’re just stopping by or if we’re having a full family dinner. Sidenote: I meant to order the ceviche trio, but they gave me the orange roughy ceviche instead. It was still very good, but I wish I had the shrimp cocktail too. Everything always tastes fresh, well seasoned, and balanced. We LOVE the spicy margs (mango and cucumber). They’re delicious! I really enjoy the refreshing cucumber margarita! Mango is on the sweeter side, but still so good. Black bean dip, salsa, and chips are always on point. I could drink the salsa if I wouldn’t get heartburn so bad. Service was friendly from host to bar despite us walking in late. Kudos for not showing us you were internally annoyed.
Lucas was super friendly and patient, even with my three young kids. He had a fabulous, happy attitude and even though we had lots of questions and took up lots of his time (and he probably had many other tables to serve), he was happy to give us as much time as we needed.
The food was wonderful the meat was fresh and tender, the service was delightful as our waitress, melody gave us a wonderful attitude, and the atmosphere is indescribably good, overall best latin restaurant in my opinion
Gloria's in Frisco is in the perfect spot! The size of the place is big, yet it manages to feel intimate. The dark setting creates a cozy vibe, and the bartenders are super welcoming and sweet. I mentioned to one of them that I was really hungry (hangry, you know?) and he was so helpful throughout my visit. The location is clean and convenient for me, not too far from where I live, and the bar fills up quickly. I had a great time sitting there, chatting with amazing people. Oh, and the chef personally brought out the food. Highly recommend Gloria's! It's a relaxed and fantastic spot.
Michelle at Gloria’s Frisco was super sweet and she stopped by to check on us often, she made great recommendations and she was knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious the red snapper was cooked perfectly and the soup was amazing, especially with the lime squeezed over it. The drinks never disappoint.
Excellent service despite how crowded it was. You could really tell that all the staff were trying to get everyone served quickly and politely. Also, the I think their house margarita may be the best margarita I've ever tried! The only con is that there weren't too many vegetarian option, but got the cheese chile relleno (pictured below) and it was very good. I would definitely come back here.
Had the salmon which was delicious. All of my companions commented on the quality and taste. It's also very reasonable. My entree and a mango margaritas came to $35. I consider this excellent value. It can be a bit crowded, but we had no difficulty hearing each other. Would definitely recommend for tasty and reasonably priced meal.
This location is one of the most consistent in the metroplex. The waiters/waitresses are always kind and attentive, the cooks serve your food with pride and the fresh ingredients used to create your entree makes for a great foodie moment. This to me is comfort food and they don’t disappoint. I could be biased though because I’m always spoiled by the black bean dip and salsa we devour upon arrival.
Great food and I cannot get enough of their bean dip you get with your chips. The staff was attentive and nicer let my glass run empty.
The best drinks. The best food. The best service. The best environment. Did I say the best drinks? lol. I’m a local realtor here in Frisco so after a long week of showing homes, this is my Go-to place. Plus when I get families relocating to Frisco this is one of the top rated places that I tell them to visit. I’ve been going to Gloria’s for a long time. This location has a special bond with me. They are always consistently. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.
Gloria’s is always a great go to! We love coming here and always enjoy our experience. The service is great and the food comes out fast. Some of my favorite dishes include the carne asada and carbon tacos. Their queso is great also. I got to try their tres leches this visit and I thought it was great.
A perfect experience this Oct 5th evening! Beautiful weather on the patio. Domingo my server was outstanding and outgoing. Food came quickly even though the place is quite busy! The Pollo Asada Combination was the best! As always! Thank you Gloria's for continuing to be the Best among thousands!
I always eat the Salmon Chimichurri Salad and it never disappoints. The grilled steak (carne asada) is also delicious, with a spectacular charcoal-grilled flavor. I've been to several restaurants [from the same chain/group] and I love them—the atmosphere, the service, the variety, etc.
Patio seating and decor is beautiful, food at Gloria’s restaurant is always good most of the locations but this one has great quality and freshness. Very good service and happy staff members.
Nice fine dine latin space to have a good dine in experience . From food to service everything was perfect. Food presentation was good. Portion size was ok not overloaded . We had cheese Chile releno and Camarones with ice tea. Food was fresh and delicious went well with refreshing ice tea.
Went for a nice after work dinner at Glorias. Luis was fabulous and was very helpful with the menu and very courteous and polite. The seafood soup seemed to have less meat than a year or so ago. It used tobhave crablegs and more meat overall. Perhaps market prices have driven some changes. The tacos were tasy and fresh. Overall a very pleasant dinner with goid food and service.
The atmosphere was perfect for the surprised Birthday dinner for my brother . Our server was hands down top tier, very polite and professional for a table of 12 he was awesome. Food was scrumptious
Gloria’s exceeded my expectations. It’s a very nice restaurant both inside and out with ample space for small or larger groups including families. The service was excellent, and the servers were very friendly and attentive, even the ones that weren’t necessarily serving my table came around and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was cooked to perfection and full of flavor with every bite. Definitely a great place to eat any time of the day.
Loved Gloria’s! The service was perfect! (Thanks Octavio 🫶🏾) The food was delicious and the spicy mango margarita was phenomenal. The salsa and black beans they gave me when I first sat was enough to get me to come back. The guacamole was perfect. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the Red Snapper. It was really good but just felt like it was missing something. And the shrimp on top was just extremely salty although the snapper was cooked to perfection. I will definitely be back and look forward to trying something else.
Sunday at 1pm. Crowded. Quoted 30 min wait for 2 people, but everything after that was gold. They sat us in 10 minutes, chips to table in 1 more, server there with drinks in 1 more. The staff here have a lot of hustle during the rush and are very attentive. The food is flavorful, good portions, and the complimentary chips come with black beap dip that is excellent in addition to salsa. Tamales are moist inside! Spanish rice with chopped veg stood on its own without sauce. Sweet charred plantain and tamale very good. The yucca was a bit underseasoned or just not a good piece. 100% would eat again and bring those I love.
If I could give them ten stars I would. I was visiting Dallas for the 1st time. I wasn't in the mood for another Mexican restaurant but my daughter convinced me and I was indeed impressed. Service was excellent, Food was exceptional. Our waitress Evelyn was very professional and kept checking in on us. Overall, I hope to come back again.
We checked out this awesome Latin Cuisine Restaurant tonight and let me just say these fine folks are doing it all right! We had a table immediately even though It was hitting peak time on a Friday night. We had the house Chips, salsa and black bean dip to start, and it was really good. We added a side of Guacamole to, because the chips were so good. Pretty sure they were fried in house from the taste and texture. They did not spare anything on the Guacamole it was top notch and loaded down with fresh cilantro. I started with A Prickly Pear Margarita and wound up having a second one. It was delicious and had the proper level of octane to take the days edge right off. My wife had a Gloria's Top Shelf Margarita and she gave it 2 thumbs up she ordered a 2nd one as well, rare for her unless they are really good, lol. For my entrée I had The Red Snapper, it and the Green Cilantro rice where fantastically good. I SAVORED EVERY BITE. My wife had the Grilled Jumbo Shrimp with grilled mixed vegetables and Mexican Rice she also proclaimed it a instant winner. *( I snuck one of her Jumbo shrimp and they really where delicious)* This is definitely a place I would suggest if you are looking for local top shelf Latin or Tex-Mex styled fair. All the staff where exceedingly friendly and gracious... David V. Was our server and although it was easy to tell he was rather new, he was supper polite and tried really hard. Also, the attentiveness of Frank and another Floor or kitchen manager I interacted was great they genuinely care for your complete and total satisfaction. Food was all superb. Drinks were spot on especially the bar made Michelda that I ordered to pair with my Red Snapper. We will definitely be back to sample more of their wonderful and inventive menu.
We have been going to Gloria's in Frisco for the past 23 years. The service has always been great, very welcoming staff, great food quality, the chips and salsa are amazing, clean facilities and super fair prices. Today we had service by Victoria and she was very sweet, diligent and prompt. The manager Jazmin was going around tables making sure everyone was being taken care of. The little mints at the exit table are a real treat.
We come here nearly every weekend for brunch or dinner and always have a great experience. The food is consistently good, the wait staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Jasmin, the manager, is especially wonderful! She personally checks on us every visit and always makes us feel valued. Gloria's never disappoints.
Great 1st impression for Sat lunch at this location. We have been other ones in the area but never here. Lots and lots of friends and family here for lunch and quite a few at the bar. See photos. We ordered from the brunch menu and got too much food for us. Next time try getting a smaller serving. Need to visit again sooner that later.
I was very skeptical at the beginning when the hostesses didn't recognize us without smile and instead their demeanor was not as they should be, but I decided to give them a try since I've been in several Gloria's restaurant around Texas, and in fact our server was very attentive, floor manager came to our table to make sure everything was fine. Do not order margaritas because the bartender is way off on that drink, but mojitos was excellent, food was amazed, and Churros for dessert was outstanding. Thank you!
This is great location, after shopping you relax, eat some great food and have a delicious drink. We alway have a good time here but this time our server Ferneles was exceptional and took care of us like if we were the only ones in the place, he went above and beyond in service. We definitely recommend this location. Good time good food great service 🤩
Great food. Upscale atmosphere, but still casual. I had a grilled chicken breast with sour cream sauce and was able to sub the rice & beans for veggies. They offered quite a few heslthy grilled fish options and my friends grilled salmon looked great! We were with a large party and all plates, even special orders , arrived correctly.
We enjoyed our dinner very much. The food was yummy, and plentiful. The service we received from Martin was spot on. He took our order quickly. He was friendly and attentive to our refill needs of beverages and chips and salsa. We didn’t have to ask for the check or leftover boxes. All in all a great experience.
Victor took good care of us! First time eating at this location in Frisco. The weather was nice so we sat outside. My wife got the vegetarian chili relleno which was cooked to perfection with good 🧀 🍄 🥕 spinich and more! I had chicken tacos 🌮 😋 they were grilled nicely and the chips and dips were great! Finished up with the flan which we would go back just for that, it was so good. Full and satisfied!!
The ambience is cozy. Even on a Monday night the place was crowded. The complimentary chips and salsa also come with a black beans dip, which was a nice addition. I had ordered A La Gloria enchilada which was three chicken enchiladas with different sauces. It was delicious and the quantity was large as well. Vegetarian Spinach enchilada seemed to be mediocre but loved the green sauce on it. Good amount of parking spots available.
Our first visit to the Plano location was truly spectacular. The restaurant features a beautiful layout with a warm, cozy atmosphere and an impressive full bar that adds to the elegant ambiance. We ordered several of our favorite dishes that we usually enjoy at other Gloria’s locations, and they did not disappoint. The steak was cooked perfectly to the requested temperature and was beautifully presented. Our server, Jose, was gracious, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the evening. The manager also stopped by our table a few times to ensure everything was perfect, which was a thoughtful touch and greatly appreciated. Among the Gloria’s locations we’ve visited, the Plano restaurant stands out as one of the best. It would be wonderful if they offered dancing nights similar to the Addison location, which would make the experience even more lively. We are certainly looking forward to our next visit.
My family and I had a wonderful time in the new location. Not only was the food delicious but the service was amazing. Our server Evelyn was very accommodating with our two little ones. She was very sweet to them and made sure to do the little things that made it easier to eat out with toddlers like being sure to bring us small spoons or making sure not to set anything directly in front of them. As parents this made us very excited to be back and ask for her again. The tres leches waffles were a hit with the whole table if you stop by for brunch!
We love Gloria’s. We were so happy and honored to join Gloria and her family for the grand opening and ribbon cutting at the new location in Plano. My favorites are the papusas and house margarita with a shot of orange liqueur. We also ordered the enchilada plate which was very good. I really like the chips and two salsas and bean dip, complimentary for every table. I am so happy Gloria’s opened in Plano! Highly recommend a visit.
This place will be a repeat on the list! The soups alone are big filling and flavorful!! Service is amazing. The chips and dips were on point with a selection of non spicy to a hint of spice. Everything was so good, full of flavor and something to experience. Drinks .. they be cranking lol. Definitely a bang for your buck too.
I love this new location! Decor is fantastic, food is absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back for more.
Great food, trendy clean place , wonderful staff, excellent tasty food, great ambience!!
The absolute best restaurant in Texas. We’ve been to many Gloria’s locations from west to east, and none compare to this newest location in Plano, Texas. My family took my sister and I here for our birthday and it was nothing short of a great experience. The waiters were attentive, kind, and very accommodating. We had the pleasure of speaking with the manager, Jasmine, and learning more about Gloria herself. After learning that Gloria visits this location and even frequently cooks there, it made sense why the food was exceptional. To top it all off, they provided a complimentary dessert in honor of our birthday celebration. If you have any intent to stop by, do so, you won’t regret it.
Sofia was absolutely amazing! She took great care of us and made sure our drinks were always filled and our food was out promptly!! Thank you so much for a great night out! She made our experience amazing!
12/31/2025 - Tonight was the first "Un-Official" opening night of the Gloria's in Plano (Zip Code 75024) and I decided to visit. First and foremost, the atmosphere was amazing. It is truly a job well done on the design. Once I examined the menu, I decided to order the large Chile con Queso, Mariscada, Cuatro Leches, and Honey Banana. Domingo informed me that I made some great choices. Everything was incredible and exceeded expectations. Throughout my visit, Domingo was a professional from the word "Go". Well done, sir. Keep up the good work!!! I hope all of you had an Awesome Christmas and have a Happy New Year!!! "In a race everyone runs, but only one person gets first prize. So run your race to win." - 1 Corinthians 9:24 (TLB)
Gloria’s Latin Cuisine is one of those places that instantly feels like a celebration the moment you walk in—lively energy, friendly staff, and the kind of menu that makes it hard to choose. But let me save you some decision time: get the chimichangas. Seriously. The chimichangas here were the standout of our entire meal. Perfectly golden and crispy on the outside without being greasy, and packed with flavorful filling that stayed juicy and hot all the way through. The texture was on point—crunchy shell giving way to tender meat and a well-seasoned interior that tasted fresh, not bland or “prepped hours ago.” The toppings and sides pulled everything together too: the sauce added just the right amount of richness, and every bite had that balance of savory comfort food with bright Latin flavors. If you like a little kick, they also have options to level it up, but even as-is, the seasoning is excellent. Service was another win. Our server was attentive without hovering, checked on us at the right times, and kept drinks refreshed. The food came out fast, and everything was presented nicely—no sloppy plating, no lukewarm plates. Overall, Gloria’s delivered a great experience, but those chimichangas are the reason I’ll be back. If you’re craving something crispy, satisfying, and full of flavor, this is the move. Highly recommend!
Overall wonderful experience dining here. I've been going to Gloria's for years and have dined at a few of their locations, and today was my first time going here, and like the others, this one is consistent and knows what they're doing. The restaurant was full as usual for Friday night dinner, but my mother and I were seated with no wait. Service was great and our waiter was with us within seconds of being seated, and a few seconds later we were given our chips and dips. The dining room was very upscale, and presentation was on point. We ordered the fajitas and carne asada. Both were brought to our table by one of the chefs, and everything was delicious. The chicken in the fajitas were full of flavor, and all the sides were very high quality. The carne asada was amazing, I have never had such a good skirt steak, it was tender and juicy, and the seasoning was perfect. Pricing is very good for what was offered, and I left happy. I look forward to dining here more when they move to the new Plano location!
My family has gone to Gloria’s in Frisco for many years, and most of the time I ordered carne asada. The meat is tasty, and comes with yucca and plantain which I like. But in my visit last week, I wanted to have something other than beef. So I tried serrano garlic salmon. It was delicious: the salmon, the elote, and everything else! The portion is just right, too, not too much. It’s definitely a worthy option for me besides carne asada next time 😊 By the way, our server, Claudia, was also great: attentive and friendly 👍 PS: Another recommendation: try ceviche trio. It’s a refreshing appetizer.
Gloria’s is always Great! Hostesses are always welcoming and cheerful. Staff is attentive and walking the extra mile. Domingo provided excellent service and helped me with the menu. Kid’s menu is a great value, comes with dessert. Atmosphere is always jolly. And Abel, the manager always stops by to ask if everything is being taken care to our satisfaction. 100
What a great meal! I grew up on the Mexico/ Texas border and east Mexican food majority of my week. It was refreshing to try other Latin foods and such great flavor! Que Rico! The appetizer and the dessert stole the show tonight - the orange roughy ceviche (Wowsers!) was so light and subtle- i could of eaten 7 pounds of it I thought! Then we had the Carna Asada (skirt steak) and the smothered steak. Both packed with flavor, and cooked to order perfectly. But the dessert... oh man! Growing up on the border Tres Leches has always been a favorite of mine, in fact it was my grooms cake at my wedding decades ago... but these guys... these guys some how figured out how to add another milk in and keep it firm! If you go to this restaurant... get the Quatro Leches cake -a must have!
Frequent visitors and this place seldom misses. Always greeted with a friendly staff and smiles. Went for brunch and had the spicy sopes and wifey had the brisket & eggs tostones. Very good dishes. Pomegranate Mimosas at $5.00 were awesome. I do want to give special kudos one of the managers, Jazmin. Met her today for the first time and she talked to us for about 10 minutes. We talked about Mexican dishes and the Gloria's brand. Such a wonderful person she is. Just one of the reasons why we frequently visit the Gloria"s family branded restaurants. Another great experience. Wishing Jazmin much luck with her pregnancy. (:
I’ve been coming to Gloria’s since I moved to Texas back in 2003. And let me tell you I’ve never taken a picture, never posted a review, never needed to. I just walk in, order my margarita, get my Mariscada (OG Gloria’s fans know it as The Siete Mares), and roll out with a full belly and a happy soul. That’s been the rhythm for years. But today? Today we switched it up. We added the combination platter to the table and it did not disappoint. Perfectly balanced, flavorful, and satisfying in that way only Gloria’s can deliver. And yes, when my everything goes with me, he gets the Mariscada too. Because that dish? It’s sacred. Steaming hot, rich, soulful seafood magic in a bowl. Gloria’s doesn’t just serve food, they serve tradition, consistency, and a kind of culinary comfort that’s hard to put into words. This place is more than a restaurant it’s a ritual. A place that’s stood the test of time in my life. And after all these years, they still get it right. Every. Single. Time. #HayiaSophia #HayiaSophiaFaves

Good place to bring the whole family! Came here for brunch on a Saturday and it was fairly busy, but got seated right away. Friendly staff, good ambiance, cool looking bar in the middle and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Menu had many choices from traditional items: tacos, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, fajitas and Tex-Mex. The drinks and desserts menu were also plentiful! Portions were good size and filling and prices were reasonable. It’s a nice upscale yet casual option for Latin cuisine.
Came here for dinner on a Saturday night, there was about a 5 minute wait for outside sitting. Once we were sat we were greeted with water and endless chips, refried beans and salsa (nice touch) once we ordered our drinks they came quick, food took a little longer. Drinks are tasty and plates are big enough.
We went with a a party of six and the wait on a Wednesday for indoor seating was 25 minutes. Not bad at all. The server was good, but it's almost as if he was whispering. He was very soft spoken and hard to hear. The restaurant is small inside and they pack it full of people, so his quiet voice made it hard to hear. Food was great. My wife ordered the seafood soup and I ordered the chimichangas with beef fajitas. Both were delicious.
First time trying this location for lunch. Food was decent. Chicken fajita came out sizzling but the beans were stuck to the bottom of the pan. Chicken was ok, alil rubbery. The salsa and bean dip are great. Service was ok. Had to request water, dessert menu. But it was a busy lunch time. Its a very loud restaurant, so a little difficult for business meetings inside the restaurant. Returned. Tried the chicken fajita chimichanga. It's my go to lunch entree from Gloria's and it never fails. It's wonderful. It's quite filling. Outdoor seating has a nice view, however beware of the roaches 😳
We ere visiting Frisco for a gymnastics meet. A friend suggested Gloria's for an early dinner. The atmosphere was bright and inviting. Tge music was upbeat and fun. Our waitress was nice but I noticed throughout service her attentiveness declined. I had to ask several times for refills on drink. The food was tasty and flavorful. I had the red snapper and rice. I ordered veggies on the side and it was delicious. The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms. I would definitely return.
They were able to handle a super large group of 13 at lunch. Food came quickly, drinks kept full. Queso was super yummy. Tropical salad really needs some cheese. But fruit and dressing was delicious. Chicken was good. Overall a good meal with good service.
The atmosphere was really good, it was lively and chatty. The music was there but wasn’t too loud either. The staff were really nice, and the food arrived relatively quickly. I think the presentation of the food was above and beyond, my fajita came in smoking hot, but the taste was alright.
Gloria’s Latin Cuisine absolutely *understood the assignment* — from the first bite of those enchiladas to the last chip dipped in salsa, we were fully in our happy food era. The tacos were flavor-packed little masterpieces, and don’t even get me started on the chips… dangerously addictive in the best way. The whole vibe felt warm and inviting, like dinner at a friend’s house who just happens to be an elite-level chef. Our whole family was obsessed, happy.
The drinks were good but the ceviche had hardly any fish in it and I think it was 17 or $18. So I could not recommend that. Profit on that dish has to be about $15, because there was seriously so little shrimp and fish in it it was pathetic
Gloria's has a fun and energetic vibe, which makes it a very popular place to meet up with friends. Sticking to drinks and the delicious chips and dips makes it a solid expeeience. Otherwise, the food is very average, considered bland Tex-Mex.
Got there to place a to go order. The bar tenders were not paying any attention. After waiting 10 mins finally had to ask to place and order. Love the restaurant service could be better understanding that it was an hr before closing but still it’s about the service
We visited for the first time at this new location yesterday about 5pm. I had high expectations because the Addison location was always great. It was busy so we decided to sit at the bar. I feel we spent a lot of time and energy trying to get the bartenders attention. We understand it was busy, but you can bartend and be attentive to paying customers. The food was OK. But on top of all that, the vibe and atmosphere was off. There were no good interactions with other people at the bar that I noticed. I felt the bartenders were more task oriented. No “thanks for coming in” when we paid our bill or was leaving. We won’t be back.
Very disappointed in the new Frisco location. Food is bland. Drinks are okay. We have gone to the old Frisco location for over 20 years. Very, very disappointed in the new location. Extremely corporate.
I hate that Gloria’s gave up that premium location with the outdoor patio to move to a location where there is no real outdoor vibe. The food is subpar, so giving up that atmosphere is disappointing
I am very sad about this review...was recommended by a co-worker to make it a point to try this place. Placed an order but for some reason which we found out afterwards, my order was placed to go when I was sitting there at the bar and was about to take my food but didnt feel like eating anymore after waiting for my food. they did give me a full refund and suggested I return but will not.
My first time Ever trying Red Snapper was last night @Gloria’s Latin Cuisine and I hope this experience won’t make it my last time trying!!😜 For unknown reasons, I was expecting the fish to have a natural savory taste to it, which perhaps could have made up from the unflavored grilled prepared fish I received. I order their Blackened Snapper with butter sauce because it sounded Good. Let’s just say my visual sound needed an auto tune after trying that blackened snapper. (Smiles). I believe if they could have flavored the Snapper with what they use to flavor their Grilled Quail, the Snapper would have been a huge hit!!!
I was really disappointed with our experience here. Our waiter got our order wrong twice, and it took forever for our food to come out. The worst part was seeing him pick his nose and wipe it on his apron…and then he didn’t even wash his hands after. It was honestly super gross and made me lose my appetite. The food itself might’ve been okay, but the service completely ruined it for us. Definitely won’t be coming back.
We are a family of seven, for one plate to be wrong and the rest of family completes their meal but the replacement isn’t back is something. The waitress constantly walked passed our table avoiding eye contact or better yet the stares we gave of confusion to the delay or explanation. Will not be back to this location.
Visited on 2/20 at 7:00 PM. At the previous location, the food and drinks were consistently excellent, but our recent experience at the new location was disappointing. The bean dip, which used to be one of the best items on the menu, lacked flavor to the point that we left it untouched. Both my steak and my guest’s steak were ordered medium but arrived overcooked and had to be sent back. Service was also slower than expected. It took a considerable amount of time for our server to take our order, and there were additional delays before both the appetizers and entrées were brought out. Given the extended wait times, we would have appreciated some form of service recovery, such as a complimentary appetizer or drink, but nothing was offered. The new location is larger and attracts a bigger crowd, but it appeared the kitchen was not adequately staffed to support the increased volume. I used to visit the old location regularly with my family—often every Thursday—and service and food quality were always reliable. Based on this experience, I would consider visiting another location, such as the Dallas location, as the Prosper location has also had similar issues. Overall, I was disappointed with the consistency compared to what we experienced at the original location.
The food was horrible!! The chip were hard. Taste like it has been sitting all day and re-heated. I NEVER had a bad experience with Gloria’s. The food tastes like microwave food.
I have no idea if the food was good because the service was so bad. I sat at the bar and was never greeted, never given a menu, nothing. Eventually the bartender heard me asking about menus and pointed to a menu 2 chairs away from me. Never offered or handed me the menu. Everytime I ordered a beverage, it was never placed in front of me. It was placed in front of him and off to the side. The final straw was the last drink I ordered where he literally placed the ingredients in front of him and walked away. Never ever again
Nobody speaks English at the bar and are very rude it's not very nice! They have little girls being host-ess and not very professional! I recommend Cristinas. Way better atmosphere and the servers are amazing.. This is only my personal option but for the price you might as well go to Cristinas in Firewheel..
I’ve dined at several Gloria’s locations throughout the DFW area and have generally had positive experiences, which is why I was looking forward to visiting the new Plano location. Unfortunately, my two visits have been disappointing. During my first visit, shortly after opening, a guest in my party ordered the fresh blackened red snapper. The fish contained several small bones, which raised concerns about preparation and quality. We did address this with the manager at the time. On my second visit, the overall experience felt noticeably below the standard I’ve come to expect from Gloria’s. The service was not welcoming, and our waiter was inattentive. We were a party of six, and although I understand the refill policy for the aguas frescas, we requested a refill for horchata and never received it. Additionally, the food seemed overly bland and portions appeared smaller than what I’ve experienced at other locations. I truly hope this location improves, as Gloria’s has a strong reputation across DFW. At this time, however, the Plano location does not reflect the level of service and consistency I associate with the brand.
