The best pancakes I have eaten in a long time. I had Blue Berry pancakes, and they were delicious. Light and fluffy and the eggs and bacon were perfect as well. The service was a little slow, but it was a Saturday morning so it's underatandable.

This is the best breakfast food. Forget brunch anywhere else come here. The food is amazing. The bacon is the best bacon in DFW. The coffee is better than Starbucks. The managers are helpful and the staff is attentive. There is a wait on the weekends... it is worth every minute you wait for the food. Try the Dutch Baby or the German Apple Pancake.

This was my first time and the food was fabulous. The service by Julie was amazing- even though she was busy busy we never felt neglected by her. Julie was prompt and friendly!! We have a son that calls himself the pancake master and we would love to take him here over the Christmas season.

Ordered the Dutch baby and Florentine eggs benedict and they were both amazing! I will definitely order the Dutch baby the next time I’m here. Our waitress, Cammey was really great too - very kind, funny, and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

One of my favorite places to get breakfast currently. I’ve been here a few times. I recommend the pancakes and matcha latte. All the meats are good. I tried the chorizo omelette once and do not recommend that as it’s too dry. But all the familiar favorites are great. Friendly staff every time I’ve been here

I love the location in Dallas (Lemmon ave). This is my second time here and it sucked. First time the waiter gave us our check a bit after giving us our food and consistently kept checking if we were done. Felt like we were being rushed out. It was a older male with an accent. Second time today and we waited 40 minutes for our food and it was not busy. Had two groups come after us and got our food before us. While we were ordering it felt so rushed yet it wasn’t even busy. She didn’t get my coffee orders right either. She gave me a hot latte instead of iced one. Then my burger was salty. I couldn’t even eat it. I recently moved to Arlington which is why i’ve been coming to this location but i rather drive to Dallas from now on.

We came in with a large party expecting a wait however they were able to promptly seat our group of 7. Our waitress Cammey was amazing, she anticipated our children’s needs. Made sure they had what they needed and that the children’s food came out before the adults. That meant the world to me. As I was able to get them situated while our food was brought out. The manager Kathy checked on us several times as well to ensure we had everything. Our cups were never empty and I didn’t have to ask for a refill once. I LOVE the coffee mugs! The food was amazing, my kids were impressed with the thick cut bacon and that the eggs were cooked exactly how they wanted them. I could brag all day on how amazing we were treated! Next time we travel to this area we will be a repeat customer without a doubt!

My first experience at The Original Pancake House was in Grapevine Texas and it was awesome. Our primary server Kimberly was anwesome, attending to our order, answering questions about the menu, and just demonstrating a level of customer friendly professionalism that was extraordinary. And she wasn’t the only employee that checked with us asking about the food quality and providing excellent service. Overall, it was one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had.

The food was awesome but not near as awesome as our server, Cammey. We had a large group with many special requests and she totally rocked it all with a smile on her face and an easy laugh. When we come back, and we will certainly be back, we hope Cammey will be our server.

Julie was a glowing start to our day. Her attention to detail, the warm smile, and pleasant demeanor was just the tip of the iceberg. She is the star of the show and anyone would be lucky to spend their meal with her. The food was fantastic, but Julie is the reason we will return.

Thanks so much to Kathy, who responded immediately to my request to reserve a private room for my son’s high school graduation party. I did not expect there to already be decorations there. But most importantly, to the manager and to Camie (not sure if I’m spelling that right) who was our attentive and funny hostess! She did not miss a beat! This was my 4th time there, but for some family, it was the first. The food was amazing as always. These folks can throw down in the kitchen, and my first time ordering the Dutch Baby did not disappoint! My son had a blast, and I couldn’t have asked for a friendlier staff! 5 stars!!!! Sorry, once the food came out, no time for food pics, were were grubbing and ordering more!

We came in early in the morning before 8 am & they had a plumbing issue, so they couldn’t seat us yet but we were able to sit & wait in their entrance area. We were told it would be about a 20 minute wait, but it was quicker than that. I think it was the manager & she offered us coffee & I got hot water. She was great! Great customer service from the minute we walked in! Right after we sat down to wait, she came back to us to let us know that we would be able to be seated at a table to wait until they can serve us or take our orders. Again, right after we sat down & not too long after they gave us menus just to look over for the time being, then we were able to order right after. I usually take photos before we dig in, but this time I didn’t, so took a picture of our leftovers. It’s not that great of a photo, compared to what I would normally take but the best of what I could take. Our server Gamil is always great when he serves us! He’s attentive & always on top of it! Regardless of their situation early in the morning they still let us sit inside & wait, & took care of us. We’ve been here many times & they’re always pretty good, as well as the food! As soon as we walked in, we were promptly seated even though it was very busy and prime brunch hour on a Saturday! First time here and as soon as we sat down, another server noticed (Chad) the birthday gifts and wished us a very warm happy bday. Our server, DeAndre was so friendly and attentive. My coffee stayed filled and my friend and I loved our meals so much. It was honestly so good. He even brought over a little birthday card over - how sweet! Gosh the warmth of all the staff and the incredible food - We absolutely will come back!!!!

Wow! Walked in and every server on the way to our table gave us a genuine Good Morning greeting with a bright smile. Our waitress Julie was amazing, walked us through the menu and was very prompt in getting our coffee and waters. There was a short wait time between ordering food to it being on the tables. I had the French cherry crepes and they were delicious! It was rather quiet for about 730 on a Saturday morning in Dallas. 10/10 WILL come again! :)

We go to OPH VERY FREQUENTLY and find the food of high quality, the French press coffee is exquisite. We have made Jose our particular server for his professionalism, courteous and attentive service. I know a lot of people ask for him for the same reason. I must say all the servers are very pleasant.

From start to finish, everything was wonderful. Kimberly was our server...friendly, helpful and attentive with excellent and smart suggestions. Our selections came promptly. I got the carnivore omelet. They're massive and delicious. Home style potatoes yummy with hint of onion. I couldn't get to my pancakes, but I expect they'll be wonderful...at home! The service was fantastic. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I had the steak and eggs with a fruit cup. The ribeye was perfect and the fruit cup was strawberries, bananas and grapes (other places you get a bowl of cheap melon). Eggs done perfectly also. My wife had the traditional breakfast and she said it was some of the best bacon she’s ever had. My meal was priced cheaply for steak and eggs (23$). And that was one of the most expensive things on the menu. We are definitely going back, and we live 30 minutes away. Worth it.

Great place overall. I went there with an international colleague who was scheduled to fly out that afternoon. It was meant to be a light fare but we were intrigued by the menu. He loved the feta omelette and I greatly enjoyed the egg burrito. He is a self-professed foodie and his vouching for the food speaks volumes. However, the highlight was the great service from Cammey. She was friendly, engaging and efficient. She made a couple of great suggestions and was very observant + insightful. She was the perfect server and made the meal very enjoyable. Great atmosphere. The food was okay to me, but not spectacular. The pancakes are good, but I'm not a fan of thick cut bacon and the scrambled eggs were a little undercooked. I loved the bottomless coffee with real cream.

The Original Pancake House was good, but a lot different from the one we visited in Ohio. The menu looked a little different, but probably reginal items. The food was hot and tasted good. Again, this is not what we expected based on previous experience. Service was ok, but nothing fancy. The store itself you can tell is an older location but they seem to be doing a good job of keeping it up. They even installed chargers for electric vehicles. I would recommend this location for a good breakfast, just not 5 stars because compared to other places we have been, this was just ok.

Cute little breakfast place and we were grateful that they were open on MLK day and during a North Texas winter weather event. The service was good and the food was delicious. I was amazed by the omelette as it was cooked differently. I guessed that it was baked instead of fried and had a perfect amount of yummy cheddar cheese on top. We had to ask for a kid's menu since it was not automatically provided.

So this was my first time going to the Original Pancake House. When we arrived we were seated immediately and our waiter was Gamil. Gamil was a great waiter, and even though he didn't have some of the exact prices of things on the menu, he had extensive knowledge of the restaurant as an organization. After our talk, we ordered and had the pecan banana pancake phenomenal. The buttermilk pancakes were ok Toast was good. The sausage and bacon were thick cuts and were seasoned well. Also, they had chicken sausage substitute, but no turkey sausage Coffee was good and strong. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, and you could tell, but at over $5 a glass, I liked the coffee a lot better. Overall, it's not the best breakfast I've had, but I would definitely give another try.

We spent our honeymoon in Dallas, and stopped here for breakfast on our way back home. Service was excellent. Place was very clean. Now to the food. My wrap was good however the tomatoes tasted very old in the wrap, just like they've been in a container for a couple days. Also added Turkey to the wrap and they charged an additional $5 for added turkey. That's a lot. My husband was not impressed with his pancakes, said it tasted very eggy like French toast. Biscuits and gravy was okay. Overall good but not worth the price.

Pretty good if you're looking for breakfast. We didn't stray very far from the staple eggs, toast, and sausage and all we're pretty good. The Dutch baby wasn't at all what we were expecting. It was really more like an omelette with sugar and lemon on top which was interesting. All in all, we liked it and the service was good and the meal was inexpensive.

Lori at the Pancake House in Addison is an absolute gem! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Her attitude was friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind—she never missed a beat. The service was fast, the recommendations were spot-on, and she checked in just enough to make sure everything was perfect without hovering. Lori truly elevated our breakfast experience and is the kind of server that makes you want to come back again and again. If you’re dining here, ask for Lori—you won’t be disappointed!

Everything here is awesome. My dad loves the Dutch babies, he says this is the only place that makes them right. I like their pancakes but I’m not a big fan of the way they make their eggs. I also wish the pancakes were fluffier. Just personal preference I guess, I’m sure it’s perfect for someone else.

Very tasty and the service was great. First time visiting this restaurant. We had a nice experience but it wasn't amazing. That being said, I wasn't expecting amazing from a pancake breakfast. 4 stars means I liked the experience and I would return. 5 stars would mean they exceeded my expectations.

We ordered the OPH Breakfast Sandwich ($16.89) and Hacienda Benedict ($16). Both entrees were really tasty, full of flavor. They were a bit heavy, but still solid. The sandwich was an amazing combination of an American breakfast: bacon, sausage, egg, cheese, and avocado. The Benedict was delicious too - egg and sauce went well with the base. The sides, potatoes and fruit, were also tasty. My only complaints were that the service was not super great as they didn’t come check up on us at all and the layout of the tables in the restaurant made it a bit cramped. The minimum suggested tip was 20%, which is super high for brunch and this restaurant’s price and quality.

Wait time: minimal on a busy Sunday morning. Servers were responsive and polite. (Christie was our server today) The restaurant was clean and nice inside. Food presentation was decent. We didn’t like the taste of what we ordered.

Lately this location just hasn’t been up to par. I’ve tried giving them extra chances, but my most recent visit put the nail in the coffin. The pancakes are not good and taste super bland. They don’t serve real eggs and once again bland. My most recent server didn’t know the menu well, however she was very friendly and nice. I think they need better cooks and then this place will be back to regular.

Since moving to Dallas, I had been wanting to try OPH for awhile .. today was that day. Perhaps it was an off day, based on the reviews, but it was average at best. I ordered the ribeye and eggs… steak was undercooked, and sent back…2/3 of tomatoes didn’t look or taste ripe, potatoes could have been cooked a little more. Coming from an experienced chain, I expected better. The food should be checked before going out the first time, sure occasionally something is missed, but just the experience itself was lacking for my expectations. In my opinion, if I send back an entire meal, then I might as well go somewhere else. Will I be back .. I’m not sure…I have had consistently better steak/eggs at a small diner for less though.

Cold brew tasted burnt and matcha latte was not blended smoothly. Still had ice bits in it and you can tell it was not of high quality from the diluted tea taste. Omelette was dry and Dutch baby (not in picture) was not as fluffy and crispy as I expected. Although flavor was decent, texture was soggy and eggy. The Benedict was one of the better dishes we ordered. Potato sides had a good flavor but were also soggy not crispy. A slightly better I-hop, but I most likely will not visit again.
