Opiniones de Kintaro Ramen Jackson
May was our amazing server and helped us arrange the food for these photos when she saw me open my camera, so funny, we loved her! Now the food. We got Harumaki, Pork Eggroll, Takoyaki (my absolute favorite), and Kami bun (with pork chashu). These were just our appetizers, and I would go back and get all of them again, they were amazing. Try the Takoyaki you won’t regret it. Then my fiancé and I shared a bowl (massive btw) of Goyu Tonkotsu Ramen, we added an extra marinated egg and fresh garlic, then about a TBS of the spicy chili oil that is available on the table. I don’t have the words to describe how good this was. The NY strip in the ramen was cooked so good and the flavors blended to perfection. We got all of this food (with leftovers to take) and a bottle of Sake, and we still didn’t spend much at all. We live an hour away and will still be back all the time.
Went there for lunch with a coworker right after they opened at noon, and was very pleased with the food and service. The ramen was so flavorful, and you can add all kinds of things to it, and they even have a decent selection of Japanese marble soda. The staff checked on us several times, and it was a very pleasant experience.
A must try if you love ramen! Everything was great!
I got the miso tonkatsu. I've had ramen at many places, tonkatsu is Usually a safe bet. It was oddly cold. The silverware was cold. The bowl was cold. The broth was hot but was cooling fast because everything was cold. The pork belly was cold. The fish cake was cold. The final straw was when I found the egg under everything in the broth. Cold. I'm guessing the kitchen thought the broth would heat the egg up. Called the waitress over. Very friendly. I asked her to heat it up, and she did. I ate the entire bowl. Lots of green onions. Fun surprise at the bottom of the bowl.
Absolutely wonderful time here. They were our first noodles bar, my boyfriend has been dieing to go, and boy were we satisfied! Definitely recommend if you enjoy Ramen 😉. Staff are wonderful and sweet , helpful and kind.
I’ve never had a bad experience here. The staff is always so friendly. The food is very good. If you like sushi or Ramen noodles you will definitely like this restaurant.
The calm and busy atmosphere is pretty relaxing. Constant light chatter from everyone in the place is hardly noticeable. They have light music playing in the background. The service was great and friendly. The food is top notch according to everyone around us as well. The spicy chicken Ramon was amazing.
The food and people are exceptional! Best ramen restaurant I have been to!
We really enjoyed our experience here. The appetizers and salad were amazing! My ramen was a little salty, but my husband's ramen was fine. The service was wonderful and we'll definitely be back.
An excellent restaurant for top quality ramen. I've been several times and left satisfied every time.
Wonderful staff and even more amazing food! We have been a few times and every time we were seated right away, orders taken and drinks brought within a few moments! The food is so good and we always leave with leftovers! Best Ramen I've found yet!
04/15- Another great experience! I loved the spicy pork ramen with the brussel sprouts! Old review: I’m so happy this place is here! Jackson always needs variety and I appreciate the trendy vibe and choices this place has to offer!
This is a my new favorite place in town for vegan food. Their vegan options are clearly marked on the menu. There are multiple types of ramen, buns, as well as other vegan options. The portion sizes were so good that I had to get a to-go container! The staff was well trained and doing a good job of keeping up with the steady stream of patrons they had just a few days after opening.
Just passing through and I can't believe I convinced my old man to come here with me. The employees were very nice! The Ramen, Delicious!!! If I ever pass through Jackson again I hope I remember this place!
Kami Ramen has been a top option when traveling to Memphis and I’m very happy to now have one here in Jackson. I was there opening day as well as four days after. Here’s my review: Food: Food is great as the other restaurants. First day the meat was a bit cold but it was opening day so my food took about 30 mins to come out I have a feeling since everything was still new waitress forgot to put in/pick up the order. (Totally understandable) Second time was on point. Service: Everyone is new so expect longer times to get seated and to be served. Both times I was there from walking inside the restaurant till leaving took about one hour. All the staff is very friendly so nothing negative about that. Atmosphere: Decor and layout very like the other restaurants, my only observation is that the whole room feels very crowded so waiting area is very limited, I would say parties of 8 or more would be hard to accommodate so keep that in mind before you make plans. I will probably wait a couple months to go back to see if service is a bit faster like the other restaurants but other than that I definitely recommend it!
It's ramen... but at the next level. Wife loved her Japanese Curry Chicken. I liked my chicken "noodle soup" ramen spiced up. Look over the menu and find something appealing; if you do, the bowl will count as 2 meals rather than 1 if you're anything like me.
Definitely worth the wait!! The food was fantastic, the prices are great for the amount of food you get and we loved the vibe there! Our server was super sweet and helpful. The manager came up to me while I was waiting for my receipt and asked about my experience and the Japanese sodas we bought. Love love love this place! Easily my new fave go to!
Delicious food and excellent service!! Will be back for sure! The pork steamed buns not pictured were also delicious.
The ramen is amazing! Got the pork based ramen, extra spicy and will definitely be back for more. They’ve got a good choice of Japanese beers. Prices are good on the food imo. Ask for Griselda to be your server if you’d like a great experience; she goes the extra mile without you even asking! That being said, all staff seem to be great as well. Check it out if you haven’t and are a ramen fan
My first time having ramen and I will definitely be returning! Our server, Natalie, was the greatest! I ordered what she recommended and was not disappointed.
I recently tried Kami Ramen Bar in Jackson and was impressed by the quality of their ingredients and the attention to detail in their dishes. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I can't wait to go back!
The service was amazing. They were very nice! The Spicy Tan Tan Lobster and Spicy Shrimp ramen were phenomenal! Definitely will be coming back!!
Welcome to a honest ISAKAYA! Portions are good, and the quality is SUPERB! "Sprouting Up" has the PERFECT MIX of pork, veggies and heat to warm a TN fall evening out. The okonomoyaki was FRESH and well-dressed. Drinks were okay. Service was attentive and pleasant. Get used to chopsticks.
Amazing soup. I recommend the Shoyu. The broth is AMAZING!!!!
Such a great bowl of ramen. I had the Goyu (pictured) and my girlfriend had the Slurp Up Cilantro. Goyu was rich and very flavorful, with a slight eggy taste. The NY strip was cooked just right. The cilantro ramen was very refreshing.
Delicious food with generous portions, cozy atmosphere, and wonderfully friendly staff.
Love this place. Great food and nice staff!
I'm a Japanese, sometimes we Japanese really crave ramen. This ramen is very much like Japanese one. “Kami“ means “God“ in Japanese, I really appriciate Kami came to Jackson. Definitely I will be back.
Really good, first te there will be back!
I decided to check out Kami Ramen Bar and upon my first time visiting I was served by this sweet young lady named Michelle. She was so sweet and got my order in fast. She was attentive and polite the whole time I was there. Definitely my favorite server and I will be coming back just to see her again! 😊😊
Went for granddaughters 10th birthday. The food was delicious! The service was fantastic! Will definitely go back!
Stumbled randomly across this restaurant when a nearby chain eatery had too long of a wait, but we needed to eat before a show. We were delighted by the great food, nice modern atmosphere and friendly staff (we loved our server, Mae!) Never had tried ramen before, but will definitely be going back soon, it was delicious (and they had Thai tea, which is my all time favorite beverage). Great find!
Worst service ever by server that waited on me, food was great besides my ramen sitting on table for 5 mins while I enjoyed my appetizer and salad she forgot to bring out.
We've gone several times. The ramen is great, but my favorite is the takoyaki. I ask for extra sauce and they happily give me some. The Thai tea is also delicious. Service is always fast and very friendly.
The service was perfect, the food was INCREDIBLE, and the prices were amazing. Not only do I plan to return, but I can’t wait! I had the spicy shrimp ramen, and in terms of complexity, depth, and harmony of flavors, it was a triumph. I also had cold apple sake, which I highly recommend if you are like me and enjoy liquor that does not taste like alcohol. For appetizers, we had the octopus balls, and shrimp tempura. Everything we ate was excellent. Five stars EASY. This place has better ramen than Nashville and Memphis by a mile, and at great prices. If you are tired of the usual “format” restaurants Jackson has to offer, come try this place!
The pink lady roll was super good! A lot of sushi for the price. I got the first pork ramen and it was really good. I could have done without the large amount of garlic paste on it because it overpowered the flavor of the broth. Other than that though it was great.
We'll be back! We ate here for lunch. It was quiet and clean. Service was prompt and accurate! Food? > Kara-age appetizer: volume was great for an appetizer. Chicken was over cooked. Chicken pieces: too many 'tiny' pieces. Chicken should be larger chunks. > Shoyu ramen presentation was good. Ramen had a good taste and feel. Shoyu soup base was only 'OK'. Plenty of toppings. > Kara-age Donuburi: presentation was good. Taste was OK (see Kara-age appetizer comment). Rice was cooked properly. There was more rice (2/3) than chicken + toppings (1/3). Japanese restaurant but no Japanese staff (most people wouldn't know).
Great broth, tons of floor. Plenty of add on. The curry broth was delicious. I had the pork broth and it was more on the salty side. I would probably try another broth the next time we are in town. The place is decorated nicely and has the ramen theme down pack.
The food is good, and the portion size is large. The only advice is to get fried chicken in the ramen. It was my first time there, and the regular chicken is just boiled and bland. Nice little spot, though.
Popped in for lunch and has the spicy shrimp Ramen bowl and brussel sprouts.. It was really good. The add ons make the price a little steep. I spent $23 for lunch, but on the bright side, the portions were so large that I ended up eating the rest for dinner.
Great service. Good decor. They have good appetizers. Chicken dishes are better than pork. Pork belly was over slightly overcooked. Enjoyed the desert.
The food and service here are really good. They weren't that busy, so my appetizer and sushi didn't take forever to hit the table. The waitress was nice and took notice that I'm not the talkative type. Kudos to her because some people can't understand that for some reason. My only real issue was that the Takoyaki (octopus balls) were boiling lava hot on the inside and burned the crap out of my mouth. So, be warned. Sushi was good, though, and I plan to go back for the ramen at some point. No forks on the table from what I gathered, which will baffle a lot of people around here. I liked it. Chopsticks aren't hard and everyone should learn at some point.
The goyu ramen was amazing and the service wars very nice
I’ve enjoyed Kami Ramen in the past, so I was excited to come back. The atmosphere is still great—cozy and welcoming. This time, though, the noodles didn’t have the same authentic chew I loved on my first visit, and the service felt a bit hands-off. Nothing awful, just not as inviting or interactive as I remember. I’m hopeful this was an off day, because I’d definitely return and try again.
The soft shell crab (which i am very picky about) was great! The shrimp tempura was great! My ramen was pretty good but the chicken fried rice has dry chicken. The pork belly was dry as well. The atmosphere was nice and service was good. We won't be back unless we go just to eat appetizers as our meal.
Visited Kami Ramen Bar recently and had a mixed experience. The shrimp ramen was decent, offering a satisfactory taste. However, I was a bit disappointed with the miso tonkatsu as it had an unusual flavor that I couldn’t quite place. I genuinely believe that the dishes could be elevated with the use of higher quality ingredients. On the brighter side, the service was commendable and deserves 4 stars. The layout was also quite nice. I hope to see improvements on my next visit.
Place has excellent reviews had to try it. I apparently ordered wrong as my dish was awful but hubby liked his dish.
They literally use instant ramen noodles in their broth. How utterly pathetic. A Ramen shop that uses cheap noodles, wild. The Gyoza was supremely overcooked and dry. The Takoyaki was soggy, soaked in oil, and the filling was lazy. Service was nothing special, they were polite enough, but they ask for a tip even if you carry out. What service do they think is earning a tip when I carry out food? A Ramen shop playing club music throws off the whole atmosphere, and the building looks like a cheap bar layout wise. Not a restaurant.
Although I hesitate to give a lower star review honesty is key. The ramen was so amazingly bland., neither my wife nor myself ate more than 3 bites. Absolutely horrendous... Please add flavor to your ramen. This is a poor representation of authentic Japanese ramen...
Purchased 2 bowls, $18 each-broth was barely warm. Manager said he’d replace them both. When I decided to go back for the replacement bowls, 2 weeks later manager states he could only replace one. Horrible customer service for someone who literally patronized your business quite often.
