Just moved here, was looking for a new Chinese place. Absolutely delicious. One of those inconspicuous hidden gems. I’m really particular about my egg rolls and hot & sour soup.... this place blew it out of the water! So delicious. Will be returning very soon. Customer service was excellent. Quick and friendly. We walked in and placed our order, ready in 10 min or less.

Food is always fresh, hot and very tasty. Portions are generous and they price their food that a family of 6 can afford eating in or ordering carry-out Our family has been ordering carry-out for 15+ years, we've watched their two sons grow up and the quality of food over this time period has only gotten better. Special orders do not upset them.

I’ve been going here for years and have never been disappointed. It’s the family favorite. They offer a variety of fried rice flavors and their egg drop soup is perfect in my opinion. Great place for take out. A true mom and pop hidden gem.

Huge fan of the sesame beef. Haven't tried a wide selection of entrees, but what I have had has always been particularly good. Usually order for pick-up, it's always been ready before the estimated time. Not much more a person can ask for.

Best sweet and sour chicken, and you get a pretty large portion for $6 if you ask for the dinner special. The regular size is so much you could definitely feed two people. Haven't tried everything yet but so far chicken fried and chicken and broccoli are also great👍

Good place for takeout, but can dine in also. Due to the pandemic, they serve dine in dishes in takeout boxes. Good lunch place if in a hurry. The "Wall Specials" are actually very good for the price. Favorites of ourfamily from here included Orange Chicken, Sichuan Shrimp,General Tao's Chicken, Shrimp Fried Rice. Combos are available also such as Sichuan Shrimp Combo which includes Pork Fried Rice and Egg Roll. Very generous portions!

I work at a business close by and order food here all the time on my lunch break. The amount of food you get for the price is great! I switch between the beef fried rice and the beef lo mein. Very good!

Did take out food was really good portions were large temp of food was hot egg rolls were real large crispy and stuffed with meat and cabbage not the skinny mush that you normally get havent found good tskeout since i moved to denton a little bit of a drive from denton but 1/4 mile of interstate dinning inside is limited but availabe would recomend very pleased price was good will return thanks

The place was clean. Buffet kept up nice. Good selection on buffet. The food was good. Chinese isn't my favorite as l get hungry a couple hours later but the place was kept up and clean.

Food is always great BUT sometimes when I get the Orange Chicken the chicken sometimes don't taste fresh. Sometimes the chicken is a lil tough like it's been precooked and mixed in with fresh chicken to balance out the taste. Not good. Bit overall the food is good. Manager seems to lack in customer service but food is so good I overlook it sometimes.

I've lived in the area for 18 years and this is the only Chinese restaurant I enjoy. Is it the best - no. It can't compare to Chinatown in NYC, D.C. or San Francisco, but it's about the best you can find in the Dallas area. They put fresh cut, not frozen vegetables in the dishes. There are vegetarian, seafood, poultry & meat dishes. Something for the entire family. The steamed rice is always perfect. I'm happy they've survived the pandemic.

It was okay, good quantity portion size but there nothing special about the meat and I did not like the fried rice with pork very much. I did not think the egg roll was any good.

Food is great but this is the 2nd time I paid for an extra egg roll and didn't get it. 2nd time in a row. Now I'm going to have to open the bag and check to make sure it's right. Very sad.

I'm new to the area. I chose New China based on its 4+ review. Sadly, I'm unimpressed with the food. It's average at best. For what I received I feel it's overpriced. The service was fast and great. The front of the restaurant was clean.

Didn't care much for this place. It smells like smoke as soon as you walk in. The lady working the counter seemed like she could care less about you, very poor customer care. It's dead silent in the restaurant, no music or anything. Not great if you have small kids, only one high chair with a broken buckle and one booster seat available for the whole restaurant. The food was priced well, and we didn't get sick, but I can get better similarly priced food elsewhere and not feel like the staff wants to chase us off.

Strangest Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to. They serve NO vegetables with the dishes. General Tsao’s Chicken - no onion, no shallots, no sesame. Literally just chicken and sauce. Sweet and Sour Chicken - no onion, no pepper, no pineapple, no sesame. Just chicken and sauce. Fried Rice - no onion, no peas, no carrots, no egg. Literally, just white rice fried in oil. Wow, strange!

Teriyaki chicken was good, Sesame chicken acceptable. Hot and sour soup was gelatinous and bordering on sweet. House special noodles were anything but special, gummy and bland, they ended up in the garbage after two bites. I ordered pork egg rolls but I'm pretty sure I got veggie, at least I think that's what they were, they also ended up in the bin. The "boneless ribs" I'm pretty sure were a cheap cut of meat cut into chunks and sprinkled with some sauce, so tough they were almost inedible. Now, I agree, they do give you a mountain of food. So if quantity is your main criteria, I'm sure this place rocks. But I don't put "value" in food that no one wants to eat. Our area doesn't have great options for Chinese food, but the other 5 we've tried are all far superior to this place. This was our first experience with New China and it will be our last.

Horrible!! We had read reviews and were prepared for really good food at great prices. Sadly, we took it to heart and ordered all of our favorites; prepared for a fun dinner introducing our kid to some new things. We didn't get the "special" prices, so it was much more expensive than we planned on, but we thought that OK, as we expected to take leftovers home for at least 1 more meal. Sadly the food was SO BAD that we didn't even eat it much less package it to go. Worst Chinese food ever. There was not one redeeming dish among the bunch. Counter order, diner style tables. I wasn't sure if we were supposed to clear the table ourselves...

This is the worst Chinese food I've probably ever had. Flat dry noodles with no flavor and almost no veggies for the pork lo mein, and egg rolls that just started like cabbage in egg wrappers. I've ate Chinese in a lot of places so to rate 1 star is a serious thing.

We were searching for a good local Chinese restaurant and went here mostly because of the 4.5 star review on google maps. The place is mainly takeout. They do have a few tables available to dine in but it didn't look like they had table service. There were quite a few people picking up food on the Friday night when I arrived so it seemed a popular place. We ordered the seafood delight, cashew chicken, and hot and sour soup. I will say you get PLENTY of food for the price. Perhaps that's why it is so well rated. But the seafood delight tasted "old" and the cashew chicken had zero flavor. The hot and sour soup tasted like something I could make from a dry soup packet. The steamed rice was really the highlight. Nice and fluffy. I cannot recommend this place. Our search continues.

I just paid $15 for seafood lo mein that tasted like trash lo mein! No seasons no flavor nothing! The imitation crab meat tastes weird! No salt no soy sauce no brown sauce, NOTHING! No onions no veggies no bean sprouts NOTHING! Whatever her problem is I hope she gets it together soon because personally you only got 3 chances with me and that’s if only I’m feeling generous! Today was it! No more! I won’t bother going here anymore. I hate that too. There isn’t too many “good” Chinese food places near by. Oh well, adventure awaits! Off to new places to taste 👅 shameful!

The fried rice has dry sharp pieces of chicken and shrimp and was basically flavorless. This is one of the only meals I've thrown in the trash whole. 1/10 though because it did come hot.
