Good was delicious... There's something for everyone here. Service was friendly and fast, and atmosphere is fun.
We came to Medronos for dinner. The service was perfect and the food was delicious. Our server was a very nice young lady who helped us. She made sure we were happy and brought plenty of everything we needed. Very happy with Medronos!!!
It was clean. Quiet for it being dinnertime. Social distancing was in effect. Food was delicious. I had their pink lemonade for the first time tonight, it was suprisingly sweet! I loved it. Thank you.
Great Mexican food. Atmosphere, and drinks are strong and very good. The service is perfect, nice great. Best salsa and chips. We are from Ohio
This is our favorable Mexican restrant, even though we live a 12 hour drive away. The salsa is great, I have often taken home extra. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious.
Out door dining was not to shabby and the chips and salsa are always good. I tried a skirt steak dish that the steak rolled up and bacon wrap around it with this cherry wine sauce. This the first time trying it and it was "Fire!! OMG...
Trying their Mix Fajitas for two was the best option I could have done. Meat was tender and very juicy. Not a fan of beans but my kid love them as a dipping side.
Came to visit fam from N.cali. we got hungry and found this place as my fam didn't even knew abt this restaurant. Glad we came.the staff was super nice and service was great. I ordered the mixed cocktel and loved it. My mom and husband had tostadas de Cameron. They both loved it! We will definalty come back here again. To see their live mariachi on Father's day.
The Mexican food was really good however I couldn't get the happy hour deals in the restaurant, only the bar. That doesn't make sense. I love all the decor and paintings. The service was friendly
We went for lunch and it wasn't busy at all, we were seated immediately. I ordered the #1 lunch special with a small albondigas soup. The chips and salsa was very fresh. Our server was friendly and fast.
Went there for the first time and it was delicious and the service was great. Wil be going again.
You have not fully lived one day of your life until you have eaten a meal at this restaurant. It is rare to find an establishment with food so excellent that it slaps you in the face with flavor. plus, the service is even better. Your drink is never empty and your chips are always piping hot. If I could, I would live in this restaurant for the rest of my life and eat their meals everyday.
Great food, excellent service and decent prices... these guys basically are the Top Dawg in terms of Mexican food in the AV... and they earned every penny of it...😉💯👍🏼
Atmosphere was perfect..DJ the bomb great music. Clean and Chill.
Love there food. It's always a great place to meet up with friends. It's a cozy warn atmosphere. Very good place to eat.
Great food, great special! We got the 2 three item combos for $30. This is the only Medrano's that has this special. The staff and security guard are friendly and helpful!!
I absolutely LOVE Medranos. Not only is their food fantastic, but they have a great happy hour with the biggest and best margaritas in town. Possibly anywhere. Love those margaritas! Ask for Mia, she's an awesome waitress.
We rented the back room for a service.. it went smoothly
GREAT PLACE...GREAT FOOD....AND EXCELLENT SERVICE....
Love this place! Great service & amazing people. I never have to wait long to be greeted or to be serviced. This is my go to spot in Lancaster.
I went to Medranos for my B-day brunch today. Food was great. Service was Awesome. I will be going back soon.
Good Californian Mexican food. I've been here many times and always had good service, especially in the bar. Even the bouncer is great. Happy hour specials are very good. Karaoke can get a little overwhelming.
Ok it's my first time here didn't know medrano was here ...it's my anniversary so wanted to take my wife out to eat but lancaster doesn't have a lot of choice...so I drove by saw people walking in so I told my wife let's try it ..we did love the service very kind food was good drinks was awesome price not sure yet haven got the bill yet..let me get back to you...
Food always good, great service, not bad priced. Like their lunch specials.
We visited Medrano's on a Wednesday late afternoon around 4:00. We were seated immediately and quickly greeted by a pleasant food server who took our beverage order. She was pleasant and attentive throughout our meal, returning to check on the table, ask if we needed anything, and refill our beverages. We ordered the special, which was tow combo plates for $25 that offered a choice of three items per plate (taco, burrito, tamale, enchilada, chili rellano) with rice and beans. Between the two couples who ordered the special, we ordered at least one of each of the choices on the combo, and all were satisfied. The special is not only a lot of food for $25, but it is good tasting food. All that said, one of the highlights of the meal was the chips and salsa. Their salsa is just that good! We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and will look forward to a return visit.
Great service, yummy food. Good quality
I really liked this place. Very traditional old school Mexican vibe with good food. Staff was nice and attentive. We attended a party in the banquet room that was big and nicely laid out with a full bar. They had some huge dudes at the door for security that were great. Blessed us a good night on the way out.
Very beautiful place to dine in, celebrate, or just pick up. Food is Delicious and servers are always kind.
Hefty Nacho plate crispy chips strong drinks great waitress and comfort in a restaurant is a wonderful recipe
The food was great. Customer service was good.
The vibe was relaxed and the food was great. Drinks were a bit pricey. Overall yes go check it out but don't expect to pay dennys prices.
This is the only Medranos in the whole Antelope Valley that are kind and not rude. Nice staff. The other Medranos restaurants should learn from this place.
Bartender is Awesome! drinks are reasonable music is good. Just a great place to eat, I would say with confidence one of the better Mexican Restraunts in town, give it a try there food is excellent, servers are friendly and welcoming, you won't be disappointed.
My wife and I have been coming here since we moved to Lancaster. The staff is great, very attentive. We have never had to wait for a table The food is top notch, my wife loves their chilli relleno. We would also recommend the fajitas, as well. We get the beef & chicken fajitas for one and we can split it, and still take some home. If you leave hungry, it's not because of the portions! The Margaritas are great also. The prices are very reasonable. Bottom line, we have never had a bad experience with the staff, and never had a bad meal! Great overall dining experience!
This is the place to go for great Mexican food! They have a very large restaurant and there was no wait to be seated. My Enchiladas Suiza was as good as I have had! The service was excellent too. Ambiance is very nice, all walls have a continuous mural on them. The bar area is a separate room but connected by open doors. I would sit as far away from the bar as possible, the music is deafening. Overall, a good experience!
Delicious! I had the steak tacos and there was more than enough for leftovers, very good. We had tortilla soup for an appetizer and it was some of the best I've ever had! My husband had the Fajitas and they were very good as well, lots of meat. My mixed drink was my fave! I had a swamp water with pineapple juice instead of sweet and sour. Great service and a beautiful restaurant with gorgeous handpainted walls... check it out!
Medranos has been in town for quite a few years now and they clearly grown the franchise to multiple locations. And while this location is not the fanciest it's still a good spot to get food and drink. I think this one's the original and it still brings in the locals. A classic Mexican food menu with all the good stuff you would expect. A great place to hang out with plenty of room in the bar and plenty of tables in the restaurant. The service is good and the pricing is right . When you're in the mood for old school Mexican food, Medrano's is a good choice.
The best Mexican food in the AV. Have been going to Medrano's for years the one on 10th St., West never disappoints

Crystal is what made our night awesome. She took care of our every need and always came checking in on us during the meal. Great music, great location and awesome service. I'll be back :)
The food was plentiful, tasty, and priced right. Two people can eat for $30 plus tax. Each person gets chips and salsa. You each get 3 items plus rice and beans. You can mix and match from tamales,…

My stepfathers favorite restaurant. The 3 for $30 is a bargain! It's nice to have a meal with plenty of leftovers for two people.
Absolutely the best chicken tortilla soup in the valley, hands down. Big menu with prices and sizes for all appetite s and budgets. Full bar service in dining room, plus separate space for karaoke bar. Also large banquet room available for events.
Enjoyed this place for many many years. Even though it's big inside, it still feels more authentic with a unique touch to it - compared to other large Mexican Restaurants. Nice people. Oh....& the food? It's GREAT!
The food is pretty good here. The drinks are good as well, not too strong, not too weak. They have a variety of drink choices. The bar always has karaoke going on so it keeps it lively.
We dropped in to the karaoke bar on Saturday night. It was a mixed crowd. A very energetic and charismatic young lady that ran the karaoke. From 9 to 10:40 it wasn't too crowded. If you like karaoke or just a night out this place is a viable choice.
This has to be one of the better Mexican sit down restaurants in the Antelope Valley with great ambiance and music. The waiters and the hosts are awesome my food as always come out perfect. And they make some really good drinks as well
The food is great, but the service from the waiters and waitresses is terrible. They tend to forget about you. Even though I've only been there twice, I won't go back because of the poor service, despite the good food.
The bar here is great!! Most of the staff here treats you like they've known you forever! The food is good, the drinks are good, and Karaoke here is a blast!! The downfall is their food prices. They are a bit too high despite how good it is. This is a great place to forget about your mundane day for awhile!
The food was good. The drink was great (Sex in the Snow)! It was karaoke night. Horrifying.
It was a pleasant environment. Not too crowded. Food was good! Service was good!
Always a fun place to hang out after work. The wait staff is amazing and kind.
Nice place the menudo was good and we had nice service. It makes up for the veggie omelet I order it should have been named bell pepper omelet, oh and it didn't say on the menu that it had mushrooms and I dislike mushrooms but over all it was decent.

ordered the chicken en mole. It was terrrrible! The chicken was tough, rubbery and inedible.\nChips seemed stale, damp. So many Hispanics in that area, they could do much better.
Ordered chicken tortilla soup to go 2 days in a row. I called ahead so it would be ready. Fortunately I asked for the tortilla chips on the side. But no avocado was in the soup. No chips or salsa . Night 2, I mentioned there was no chips and salsa. She was like, oh I’ll make sure it’s in the bag this time. She said avocado no longer comes in the soup I had to order it. So I order it. This time avocado was in the soup, had chips and salsa but no tortilla strips for the soup. The soup was okay but nothing like it used to be. My thing is whether or not I eat in the establishment my order should be correctly prepared. With covid spreading like crazy I don’t want to be sitting in a restaurant. Just because I’m vaccinated and boosted doesn’t mean the person at nearby table is as well.
Very colorful art work on the wall. I ordered a la carda, fajitas beef burrito filled mostly with fried beans. Doesn't look like fajitas, I have to ask waitresses twice to make that's my order. Good food, good price, good portion, not sure the quality. Waitress are rushing, very business like.
Like the fajitas for two chicken or beef came fresh and hot with good sized serving. Rice and beans are generic and lackluster. Salsa is decent but nothing special. The corn tortillas are bought and disappointing. Beverages are way overpriced at $4 each for ice tea or soda!
Karaoke night's are great . I've never really enjoyed the food but it's ok. However we gave a party on the banquet side which was over priced in my opinion and the service that night was horrible for what we paid.
The food was great, but the waiter we had was not good. We had the lunch combo with a chicken enchilada and a beef tamale, the enchiladas in mole, and the combo with a taco and tamale. These were all really good; the masa used for the tamale was very flavorful. However, sometimes the service received makes the overall experience not enjoyable. I'm not sure if the waiter we had was having a bad day or if he's like this all the time, but either way customer service needs to be improved. 3 stars are for the food and the manager who was extremely helpful in resolving the issues we had.
Was here a couple of weeks ago and had a good lunch. This trip food was good but felt a little abandoned during the meal. Would have been understandable if they were busy, they were not! May be a while before returning.
We called ahead for a large party and got there 4 mins late. They greeted us by telling us they gave away our table cuz they got there first and told us we had to split our party into two tiny tables. "Thankfully" we managed to grab a corner table and squished everyone in. Not bad Mexican food, nothing to write home about. And the "atmosphere" is pretty par for a small town family Mexican restaurant.
The food that a group of us had seemed to be very Blah! The shredded chicken tacos had zero flavor. All of the group said they were not likely to come again. Got the food fast . Waitress was very attentive and kind.
This used to be my spot when I lived in that neighborhood. The food was never the best, but their happy hour prices couldn't be beat and there used to be chips & salsa, and even free snacks for bar patrons. But, over the years I've slowly watched the bar section go downhill and now they even charge for chips and salsa in the bar, I've never even heard of a Mexican food place doing that before. I see a lot of reviews on here complaining about the service, I've never had an issue, but I haven't really spent much time on the restaurant side except for buffet days. Buffet food is typical of a Mexican food buffet, nothing to do a backflip over, but decent. The neighborhood it's in has kinda gone down so the nightlife has too over recent years, lil sketchy sometimes.
I was in the banquet room. The atmosphere was pretty good. However, the food wasn't. first of all, there was an announcement that the food was still in preparation. Then when the food was served it was cold. Not even lukewarm but cold. And although the servers worked hard. To me it seemed as if they really didn't want to be there. Sorry for being honest.
The food was good, but it didn't quite hit the high expectations I had for Mexican cuisine. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant, but it didn't stand out as a must-visit spot. It's worth a try if you're in the area, but I've had better Mexican food elsewhere.
Food and service are both VERY hit and miss. It's been great, it's been crummy.

The place is ok. Can come off as a bit bland despite their prices. I don't get how they believe selling two taquitos, rice, and beans for$20 is a "deal" because it is NOT.
The food was, ok. I had a cheese enchilada, with beans n rice. Rice tasted watered down n not fresh. My husband had shrimp diablo in mole. The mole was more saucy. Not satisfied with the food. The staff was kind and attentive. This was the spot about 10 years ago. I wouldnt recommemd if you like authentic mexican food.
Food was not good. None of my children enjoyed it. We all kept swapping plates to see if anything was worth eating. The micheladas were mediocre to say the least. There was more mix than beer. Only reason I give 2 stars is because our waitress was decent. This place is not authentic in my opinion
Had a party there for my wife , they were unorganized, and unprofessional. The Food was to be out for 2 hours and they took It back after 1hr and half, took away all the chips and salsa, if you wanted any more they would charge you extra. The bar was full of boxes and not stocked. Ill never have another party there again. For the money we paid and how much they charged us I expected better service.
We have been a customer of Medians for several years. However, the last 2 times we ate it was a bad experience. We did take out both times and the people that assisted us are very nice, but the food was horrible. The first time I asked for cheese enchiladas but got beef. We also did not have salsa in the bags chips but no salsa The sauce was very bland. Today we got Medians again because we really liked the food from there except for the last time. We decided to give it another try. I ordered cheese enchiladas again and that is what I got. The enchilada sauce had absolutely no flavor, the refried beans had a burnt taste and the salsa was down write horrible. They used to have very good food, but if they keep going this way they lose there customers. As for me and my family I think they have already lost us.
Most expensive Mexican Restaurant I've ever been to by far. First off, they got us on a classic bait & switch. Here on Maps, they show 5 street tacos for $10 but, when you get there, they have it scribbled on a white board that the deal is only good on Tuesdays. Those same tacos are $4.95 a piece normally... a piece! Well, we ordered food for 5 people. Nothing special, just what was on the menu. Our total came to OVER $100. Now, if the food was really good, I could justify that price, no problem. But after sitting down with everyone and eating, only one of us throught the food was even remotely good. Everything was very bland, portions were small & none of it was even close to authentic Mexican. I've eaten beans, cheese & rice from Taco Bell that were better. I would give this "restaurant" a hard pass to anyone who's ever eaten a quality meal.
Ordered chicken tostada, in a tortilla bowl. Tasted just like wet hay, got halfway thru, so gross, could not finish. Thinking back to last weeks visit, tostada had no tomato, no cheese, and no sour cream...just beans and lettuce Margaritas were excellent tho! Come thirsty, not hungry! Watch your credit card, ticket too. They gave themself a $20.00 tip. I am on a fixed income and considering the lousy meal, realistically I'd have only tipped $8.00.
I got 1 burrito, I kids quesadilla, 1 drink and one slice of cake and it was like 80 bucks. Complete rip off for what you get .

The chicken in chicken flautus wasn't cooked all tvs way though. \nAnd what's upsetting because it was my first meal of the day
I'm so disappointed to make this review. My dad was a regular here with his wife. He brought me here for dinner on Tuesday. It started great, the margarita looked good. Unfortunately, we waited at …
My first time eating here order 2 shredded beef soft shell tacos 🌮 it was more fat than beef and the shells fell apart when you tried to pick the taco up. The place was clean and the staff was friendly
Very disappointed, looked up menu on google maps , came to location to order $10 difference in price , team working would not do anything to compensate , still place order and walked away disgruntled and feeling robbed. Medrano's placed the blame on outside website !
My boyfriend & I went here on a Saturday night around 10pm. I already heard that the staff was very unprofessional but I had no idea it was to the extent We would experience this night. When we were parking I saw a woman outside drinking beer mingling with the casualties which I saw nothing wrong with it until I ordered a drink and that same woman was my server no less than 10 min later. Throughout the night I saw this woman casually drinking beer in between serving from the bar. Red flag #1. Shortly after my boyfriend went to the restroom where he was followed by a security guard by the name of RON. I thought my boyfriend was being paranoid until Ron came to our table & accused us of bringing in our own drinks. Ron then stated to us that he followed my boyfriend to the restroom for the safety of the customers in the restaurant. I was floored & demanded to speak to management and what topped it all off was the manager that came to our table turned out to be the lady that had been very unprofessional, rude, & who was outside drinking liquor, inside drinking beer, and who was my server BY THE NAME OF MIA WHO WAS SUPPOSEDLY MANAGEMENT. This isn't the first time in history someone has been followed and was unjustly killed! I will never come back to any of these franchises. Unprofessional, Prejudice management, security, & bartenders. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
Staff is terrible shifty attitudes never going back.
We visited this location today. The waitress took a drink order for 2 Shirley Temples, she bought only one out and never returned to take our order. After waiting and waiting we went to the hostess stand and told them we were leaving because no one ever came to take our order. They promptly told us the cost for the 1 Shirley Temple would be $4.00. Needless to say we will not be returning.
Food was not very tasty at all and almost flavorless. The enchiladas were delivered with no meat and very cold. Beans were pasty and rice was cold. $40 wasted. Won't be returning. AV doesn't know good Mexican food and it's obvious by how popular this place seems to be. Never again.
My boyfriend & I, went to check it out for the first time & to watch the game on the big screen TV's. We were seated as soon as we entered & ordered right away. We ordered chips & salsa, shrimp ceviche, 2 shots of casa migos, mango margarita & mangorita. Great service when we dine in, but we asked to move to the bar. The waitress said she had to cash us out, before moving to the bar cause it was all separate & we said it was fine, we got the bill it was $98 +taxes & $10 tip.. We didn't even order a meal. They're expensive, it's ridiculous! I can order a meal, appetizers & drinks for $100 at a 4.9 star rooftop restaurant in downtown L.A, that's really fancy! We sat at the bar, the bartender passed us by 3 times & never asked if we wanted to order a drink. The waitress boss looked at us & walked away.. So we got up & we left. The bartenders are so rude!! They only deserve a 1 star or none at all really. It was our first & last time going there.. BTW, I've been to all 3 Medrano's in the Antelope Valley & all 3 Medrano's food, is basic, no flavor & a waste of time and money..
So I always like to start off with the positives the service was good and the drinks were okay... The Food wasn't Great... Yes there was an abundance of food, but everything tasted the same and very blah and bland....
Was there on Saturday night. Our waitress was drunk and taking shots with other tables. Hardley attened to us. Had to ask the bartender to get us refills on our drinks. Waitress was constantly going to certain tables and was arguing with another guest that was there having drinks but also seemed like a friend. Will never be going there again
I would give this place -1 if possible , the food was absolutely disgusting. The albondigas soup had undercooked meat, the meat was practically raw.🤮 The Carne asada tostada was drenched in grease all around, under, and inside. The guacamole on the tostada tasted old and the meat was so gross. 🤢 Most certainly not coming back, worst experience ever. Pollo Loco tostada is 10x better than this debacle. Not to mention how much they charge for this so called "authentic food." If you are thinking of eating here it's a definite no 👎
I have been going to medrano's since they opened on 10th Street and they were the best food I don't live in town anymore so I drove an hour to go try out some of their food and have a margarita well I got my food to go as I was on a time schedule which was supposed to be extra cheese I got home and that was the worst burrito I've ever had no cheese very dry very littlebbeans. The drinks were bad too he salsa and chips were good though but that's the only thing. Additionally the bartender that's worked there forever Armenio was exceptionally being creepy and rude. I will never go back there what a shame because I shop at the whole wheatery all the time and would have loved to have a chili relleno bean burritos and things the way they used to be with a smile.
Caldo de camaron was horrible! It only came with 5 shrimp. When they packaged the food in the bag. It leaked all over the bag. The lid was broken and inside the caldo de camaron. The side of beans tray was all broken and coming outside of the tray. The flan was also horrible! Never getting food from there.
horrible place, the food had no flavor. it taste like mushy nonsense
I would give 3-4 star for the waiters who were very polite, for the salsa, and chips. The food was honestly garbage. One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. We should have gone to Cafe Rio, which would have been better and cheaper. How this place got such good reviews is beyond me. These ratings are obviously by people with no clue of good food. A major disappointment. Margaritas were also the cheapest made tequilas I have also ever had.
