Quelle belle semaine à la plage!!! Au swell on est traités en VIP. On arrive et on nous installe comme on veut. Ils nous prêtent des serviettes, ajoutent des parasols, changent les types de chaises. Le site est propre et beau, j'aime leurs chaises de plage, ils y a plusieurs sortes. Les serveurs s'assurent qu'on ne manque de rien. La nourriture et les drinks sont délicieux. Les tacos de crevettes (frites) et les recettes pop corn sont des incontournables. Il y a le wifi gratuit pour le les clients . Je dirais que nous avons eu affaire plus a Jimmy cette année, vraiment un top serveur. J'aimerais mentionné aussi le bon travail de Josue, Victor, Octavio super équipe de serveurs. Je serai de retour l'an prochain sans faute, j'adore cette endroit à Puerto Vallarta.

Excelente lugar, los meseros son atentos a lo que necesitas, las bebidas saben deliciosas y los camastros estan muy comodos sin duda lo recomiendo.

$300 pesos de consumo para poder estar en las sillas en el área de playa, me parece un precio justo, la comida estuvo muy rica, los precios son similares a los lugares próximos. Cuidado al pedir cosas fuera del menú, porque me cobraron $95 pesos mexicanos por un cachito de jícama y medio pepino con chilito y limón.

Estuve unos días de vacaciones con mi mamá, fuimos a el club de playa 3 días seguidos. El servicio fue fenomenal. Los empleados son súper amables y profesionales, especialmente, Carlos, Justo, Ulises, y Adrián hicieron que nuestra experiencia fuera maravillosa.

We LOVE Swell. Our friend Leanne introduced us after we had hit and miss service at a variety of other neighboring properties. Shout out to Ricardo but we love everyone that works there. TIP WELL. Worn out from the night before? A great place to chill at the beach in lounges under umbrellas with excellent service. One drawback is continual selling by beach vendors. Warm people, no hard sell, but pls I’m not in the mood for a tattoo, bracelet, or a painting of Elvis. Just trying my best to get on the other side of this hangover then the world will be wonderful again.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating our group of about 12 people each day. They would set us up with chairs and umbrellas and ensured that we were happy with our drinks and food. The fish sticks and fish tacos were my favourite snacks. Being so close to the water was beautiful.

Of all the beach restaurants / chairs we tried at this beach, this one was absolutely the best! It is conveniently located, the staff was friendly and attentive, the prices were reasonable and we didn’t feel pressured which allowed us to really enjoy the day. They definitely do business in a different way and that’s simply amazing!

A beach day must! Attentive and friendly service here! Drinks were tasty too, we didn't get any food cause we just weren't hungry. But it looked good 😊 You don't need to rent the beach chairs, simply just need to order drinks and/or food to sit on the beach there. It was lovely!

This place is a hidden gem, the staff is friendly and on top of it. Locals know this is the place to go. Tipping the staff extra goes a long way. My favorite food there is the fresh seared Tuna, but there are many good food items on the menu.

I wanted a reasonably priced beach spot with good food and drink, not attached to a hotel. This place was perfect, we got hotdogs which were surprisingly good (though the portions of fries were a bit small). Service was generally good but on a few occasions we asked staff for something and they never came back. Thankfully there was nearly always a staff member in eyesight. Seats were comfortable and umbrellas were great, with a good spot to watch the pier. I would recommend it on price and service, especially as the other customers were all very friendly and chatty, they clearly go there often which was a good sign for us!

We've tried a few places in the beach area, and this one seems to have the best food and service. A little pricey, but worth it. I've had the burrito twice, it arrives hot and the fries are pretty good. The service team are really great, the guys earn their wage running back and forth across the beach. Unfortunately they don't offer any happy hour prices. I definitely recommend it. Some places nearby are not very good with their service or food.

Great atmosphere , there was a misunderstanding with some friends about the nachos with guacamole and it was with cheese and instead of apologizing for misunderstanding they kept disputing we were in the wrong. Easily could have been handled with just bringing some plain tortilla chips but they didn’t . Don’t expect top notch service , the guacamole was good given I wasn’t the one with intolerance to fair I ate them but they weren’t anything spectacular

Nice friendly beach front bar. Small, and easy to miss with its larger neighbors on either side. Actually, they all seemed the same, offering the same level of hospitality, food and lounge chairs and umbrellas. Also a small towel. You ask the waiter for a place to sit or lie down. No charge for the lounger, but they would like you to eventually order something. No pressure, though. Prices are very reasonable. Bathrooms are clean. I think there were 4, all single person. The beach is fine. Sandy without seaweed or rocks. The waves carry a punch, though.

Ordered a stuffed avocado salad and it was lovely. We packed for the beach and grabbed a palapa, in the sand served by Swell restaurant. They came around and offered nice cold beer, cocktails and had a menu with a good selection. Prices are not the lowest but but not high. The location on the beach is worth a little extra.

the food is mediocre. nothing special. I have purchased multiple items from the menu and it is not anything to write home and brag about. the service here is good and the staff is very friendly. I think they could be A+ if they learn to cook a few items very well. they don't need a large menu just one that has a few quality items made very simply and very well. one suggestion, learn how to make a burrito! the one I had was subpar. also my friends sandwich was very small. I had to make a comment about it being small because I could not believe it was for real.

Como todos los clubes de playa, al menos donde yo haya preguntado, tienen un consumo mínimo. El servicio cumple su función. La comida tiene buen sabor y porciones adecuadas. Precios un tanto elevados, como es usual en los negocios de esta zona. Por supuesto aceptan pago con tarjeta. Con tu consumo, puedes usar las sillas que enfilan frente a la playa. Ofrecen servicio de sanitarios para los comensales, aunque la higiene pudiera buscar mejorarse un poco. Bien en general.

Hay mejores lugares alrededor. En lo personal está bien el lugar y ubicación pero los meseros si tiene la mala costumbre de atender con respuesta más tardía a quienes ellos creen que no les conviene por la propina. Pero deberían dejar de juzgar y ofrecer un servicio excepcional parejo. Espero mejoren. Queríamos comer algo pero el servicio muy lento mejor fuimos a comer a otro lado. Ahí solo tomamos bebidas, en lo personal adulteradas. Esta referencia no es nada personal. Sólo mi experiencia del día primero.

Confused! Went to swell first day on a weekday, service was great, food and drinks were good. We went back on a Saturday we were told there was a cover charge of 500 pesos each. We both looked at each other and mentioned to the waiter we had been here 4 days prior and we sat and drank and paid for what we consumed? So tell me is there a cover or no, to sit here. I would love to try it again. Our waiter was Daniel on the first day.

The bar has numerous tables and umbrellas set up on the sandy beach for your enjoyment.. steps away from the water, the food was tasty and hot, while the drinks where ice cold, service was good and the staff were super friendly, prices were reasonable. So so so bummed that the owner went this direction. We have loved Swell a long time and love the waiters too (Speedy etc etc). The owner has decided that the prices should be very close to the US. We were there for a couple hours and the bill was $150 US. 2 well Margie’s each and a couple tacos and Guacamole. It pains we to write this but I could eat fine dining with a sunset view in the rest of PV for the same prices. $14 well margaritas (with tip). The place is still crowded (it takes people a while to find out the new reality) and if you are on vacation it’s no big deal. The issue is that you can do much better other places and eventually it will be known what strategy he has taken. He used to cater to the expat crowd and now it’s about the short term payoff. Too bad. We will have an amazing dinner/show/and drinks tonight for the same price as our short stop at the beach at Swell… Hard review to write but I am loyal to businesses that are loyal to me and don’t get me wrong I am not on a fixed income and prices are up everywhere but I hate tourist traps. .

Excellent location, but steer clear if you have any kind of food allergies. Took forever for them to bring out first the drinks, then the food, and when they did, turned out they ignored all my requests and clarificarions: the food was made WITH the allergen I asked to leave out (and even selected the dish because waiter said it did not contain said allergen), the drink was made with a ton of sugar despite me asking to leave it out. Then they took the food back, I said fine, just replace the part you added with an easy no-cooking-required substitute, and it still took them 15-20 more minites to replace it. When they brought it out, everyone else was done eating, and the wait was really not worth it: they way overcooked the cheese, so the whole dish tasted burnt. And it was way too greasy. I struggled with it, never finished. It was one of the worst expensive meals of my life, I think. Not going back.

Came in just to get a couple beers and relax. They put me in the very back, farthest from the beach even though there were plenty of open seats/tables closer to the ocean. I ordered a beer from the menu which they were out of so I ended up with a Corona. Fast forward one hour and no one has checked on me, moved the umbrella to keep the sun off me or even acknowledged my existence. I left $60 on the table and walked out. If I'd had exact change I would've just left the $55. Terrible place with awful service. I'll stick to the other beach clubs.

Es buena la comida y el servicio mas o menos, lo malo es que discriminan a los mexicanos, me prometieron una sombrilla para el sol, paso media hora y nada, les recordé y me dieron el avión, en frente de mi unas personas norteamericanas pidieron una sombrilla y les llevaron 2 increíble pero cierto... Mal por el lugar, que contratan personas así :(

Mala actitud del gerente/Dueño con los niños

La atención de los meseros muy buena hasta que llegó el dueño/gerente muy prepotente por que algunos le compramos un mango a un vendedor ambulante. Llegó a gritar y con una actitud terrible. Éramos un grupo de más de 20, Decidimos mejor irnos para no soportar malos tratos por parte del encargado.

Pésimo ambiente, el gerente / dueño se comportó de manera súper grosero porque compramos un mango de un vendedor. teníamos una mesa de 30 personas todas consumiendo bebidas y comida y aún así nos habló horrible. Y nos miraba feo, muy inmaduro y grosero. No volvería a ir

Iba con mi familia, eramos un grupo bastante grande, y el gerente super prepotente practicamente nos corrio a todos por comprar mangos a un vendedor ambulante, a pesar de que todos estabamos consumiendo alimentos y bebdia, 0 buena atencio

RIPOFF NEW First of all been coming to Swells for about 9 year. Living here now and last year. Come about once a week. Best coconut shrimp in town. Tell everyone and tag on Facebook. Came by today for breakfast. The first time Adrian waited on us. He speaks pretty good English. We speak a little Spanish so I don’t think there’s any misunderstanding. We told him we wanted to order one plate with one egg and one plate with two egg’s. He said do you want rice and beans with that I said no just the eggs then we order two green juice, one coffee and two fruit plates, and one water or two glasses of ice. The eggs were supposed to be over easy and they were barely cooked super runny. And there was just a little bit of fruit on the plate so then Speedy came over to help us. I said we had fruit plates and he said he must’ve misunderstood so he brought us one fruit plate. The bill came back at 580 pesos. There’s no way this is correct speedy was very helpful and felt bad. Sent the bill back two times to you and he said no correction and I said this is ridiculous. We live here and we won’t be back. Speed he said sorry, but you could not adjust this. I’m hoping it was not the owner. And that we be can offer us some type of a credit. It’s not the amount of the money. It’s the principle we like your restaurant and your servers but we will not be back if there’s no compensation. 1 egg side 30 2 eggs side 60 2 green juice 100 estimated Coffee 40 1 water 2 glasses 40 estimated Fruit plate 85 355 total, should of been They charged 580 almost double Mike and Sue Lopez This is what it should of been, give or take a few pesos but was overcharged around $12 US.
