On their worst day, they're great! We've been here numerous times, and still decided it was a good idea to go on "National Pancake Day" (IHOP version of Black Friday). Same great service, same great food. Extra props to our server VERONICA who handled everything with grace!

We got there at 11 pm which is when they closed, but the lady new by the look on our faces that we were very disappointed. This was after showing up at Black Bear Restaurant at 10 pm and they refused us at 10:03 pm with the OPEN sign on.The waitress said come on in, we will get you some food. We couldn't believe how nice they were considering they were technically closed. Food was great and the price was nice. Excellant visit and we are thankful for the kindness the waitress showed us and will be back again.

Easy to get to with plenty of parking.

The staff are so friendly and attentive at this IHOP! They provide the best service I have ever experienced at all the IHOP locations I have been to. Orders are accurate and fast. I also really like the variety in the menu, especially the signature pancakes and pizza nachos.

Great service and was seated quickly. Surprised since it was a Sunday during "after church" hours. The holiday omlette was delicious and presented well. Our 4th time here and we're never disappointed. Enjoy!

Nice and clean I like the atmosphere of the Livermore ihope, I love that when they clean there is not smell of Clorox of any sort of smell , food cook fast and servers are prompt to refill your coffee or water... plus the location is calm convenient and has a lot of parking

Hello Me & my son had breakfast last Saturday 27th of February 2021 the staff were helpfully in keeping are Coffey cup full, checking on us if they could do for us while we waited for are breakfast. And the hostess was very friendly 2 miles a lot and was very very beautiful

This is our go-to place for breakfast in Livermore. The menu is familiar and everything tastes good. The wait staff are very kind and we always know what we're getting so it's the true definition of comfort dining. I'd like it if there were more gluten-free options but it is what it is. I recommend the fajita omelette for a high protein breakfast.

Service was great. Hostes was kind and attentive. Our waitress ( no name to protect her privacy) was outstanding. She was on top of our requests and any additional concerns. Also restroom was clean duromg this visit

Last minute choice to eat here. Great company. Good food. It's been A LONG LONG TIME, pre-pandemic IHOP was a favorite place to relax and visit at. Our local Santa Clara has closed. Fun ordering rootin' tootin' fresh -N- Fruity!!!! I love turkey bacon and French toast. My picky son eat chicken and waffles, he eat it ALL!!!!

Sat outside for breakfast, great service and food! We'll be back! Update: Enjoyed an early dinner tonight before NYE. Our server was friendly and quick. She took our party of seven's orders and got everything correct without any hiccups. All in all, a fun and relaxing evening before the New Year.

My family and I had a very pleasant time. The food was good are drinks were kept full. The service was the best we have had in the past. Are server "Roger Roger" (his name was actually Rogelio), kept my wife and son and I very entertained. He checked on us often even though he had several other people to take care of. I noticed that everybody had a great time not just our table. This is a type of service that I would expect when having a meal, these days it's hard to get. I made sure to tell the manager how well he did, and the manager was equally as friendly. So summary of this visit was five stars or I would give them an A+. Way better than last time we've been at a IHOP in another city.

I ordered breakfast to go here and the first thing that stood out was the customer service. Second was the speed of the food coming out. The staff was extremely friendly. I was worried that my request to have the meat stored separately from my eggs and toast would be forgotten, but once my food was handed to me, they called out and showed me that separation was made, and mentioned all the other condiments they added. The cheerful, sweet and courteous gentleman that helped with my order really made my day <3

03032024 update: Stopped by after a day visiting family. I ordered the Bourbon Bacon Jam Burger (no cheese) w/fries. Burger was well done, bacon jam was OMG delicious, and fries were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Server was amazing. Rating updated from 4 to 5. *** Ordered Quick 2 Egg Breakfast. Eggs, bacon, and toast were good. Hash browns were slightly overcooked on the bottom. Great hosting and wait service.

Friendly staff. Outdoor dining only at this time. Tables were clean and they have sanitizer available. Had the spinach and mushroom with hollandaise omelet. Pancakes on the side. Food was good, came out hot and didn't take long to receive it. Coffee was kept topped off and hot. Overall a good experience. Second time here and I'll be looking forward coming back here again for breakfast.

Honestly...we had marvelous service, our waitress was very cheerful, kind and attentive. The food was great! Just went to a similar place and it was horrible! Not mentioning any names but it rhymes with Lennys...

I just love this place! They give huge portions that are scrumptious, the prices are very reasonable for what is given. The staff is very friendly and fast.

Last night 07/29/25 I came to the Livermore IHOP and had a great experience I ordered the classic eggs Benedict and was very pleased with my food …..Came hungry left satisfied and not to mention the staff were very nice and respectful and I will go to this IHOP again as a visitor I’m the kind of person that reads reviews before dining in and despite some negative reviews I came to this restaurant and was very happy !! As far as the food goes IHOP is only going to get as good it can BUT!! The waitress that we had couldn’t have gotten better she was amazing. We were a very large group and she handled us with ease. I was extremely impressed. For me good service means a lot to me and she was great. Thank you

The Hop is always a great choice no matter what time of day, it's not just for breakfast! So when my old pal Wobbly Pete needed a ride down to Livermore to drop off his peg leg to Yakety Yaks Wood Shop there on Beaver street to have ol Yak do some customizin to it we'll be shootin straight there, he's having a secret compartment for his Derringer installed, so he can quick draw the hoodlums. The Hop gives it to you just like you ask...I ordered a tuna sandwich, hold the bread. It was Amazing! 5 stars!☆☆☆☆☆

I have been to several IHOP since my husband and I retired. So far, this place is clean, safe and the servers are great, especially SARA—- very friendly, know the customers likes/dislikes, and displays leadership! My husband and I eat here 2-3 times per week.. yep!! I’m truly impressed how there’s no waiting, food is served quickly! Although, we travel 20 miles or more! We love it! We will continue to support and eat here!!!

It's an IHOP! But great location and service for a yummy breakfast or brunch!

The place is big and comfortable. The food is like any other IHOP, but here it was really delicious compared with other iHops I have visited. I give 4stard because the place was almost empty and I had to wait To be seated and it took time to take my order.

The food was great but they need to get the outside tent with heaters. Also the wait staff needs to bring the condiments more quickly. Pancakes without syrup is just not as good.

My boyfriend wanted a Denver omelette so we went to IHOP. They didn't have a Denver omelette and he had to order off the Senior menu to get a cheese omelette. My boyfriend complained the omelette was stuffed with too much cheese. It was also topped with cheese. I appreciated the menu showed the calories in each entree, but the menu is very unhealthy. There was only one menu item under 500 calories. I was not very happy with the service. We had to wait for our waitress while she served 2 other tables to get a to go container and the check. I enjoyed my German crepes, however. I wanted crepes with the chicken and mushrooms, but it was over 1000 calories, the allotment of calories for an entire day! I don't think we'll be going back. We've had better meals at Nation's and paid a lot less.

Better and more choices on the menu, always good service even when busy, usual fair pricing. The double blueberry pancakes, the chicken Florentine crepes, the turkey dinner and tri tips dinner are 4 of my favorites and the dinner salad is much better than it was. The plain iced tea is very good as is the hot coffee.

Well it's an ihop, I have a kid and they are really good for that. Their kids menu is not as good as Denny's but the one near here has really bad service so won't go back. The service here has always been good and food quality has always met expectations.

IHOP is IHOP. The foods all worth it, I've only had cold sausages once. And the staff were cool about it. The pancake options are imaginative and make me want to buy them all just to try them. I think they started the whole different syrup options thing, and it's still genius.

You can never go wrong with IHOP. Food is good and so are the prices.

This is one of the better IHOP restaurants in the Tri valley. Food tasted good. It arrived within 10 minutes. Server was attentive. Ambience was nice. We enjoyed our breakfast.

Almost always a good breakfast experience as far as the food. Service varies depending on how busy and staff. Prices always reasonable. My only complaint is parents don't discipline their children in the restaurant. Kids scream as though no one can hear them and parents ignore them. Children often run amok in the restaurant bothering patrons. Would be nice if the management would intervene but guess they afraid of being sued if they dare say something to the little darlings. Too bad.

Got a table right away but the waitress was too "too busy" to clean the table we wanted when there weren't many people at all. Also was rude when taking orders and also acted like we were a bother to her. Food was great though!

This is the only restaurant in Livermore open after 10pm so it was packed. I had chicken noodle soup that was so salty it burned my mouth. Service was ok, restaurant was clean. It's never been one of my favorites but every town in the East Bay pulls up the sidewalks at 10pm so there's no competition. People there had fun even a birthday party with pancakes.

Food was good . Messed up on part of my order. Not that bad though ordered eggs over medium got over easy. Outside seating was nice for the covid time

Good value for the money, the food was adequate, the service was adequate,( for our particular dining experience) Nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about either! It is what you would expect it to be... IHOP still doing it.

I went at 6:30 a.m. and there were NO customers. I ordered a take out. The crepes tasted like they used old oil or old margarine. I don't think I would come back. Too bad, they used to be really good.

We were seated quickly. But it took a long time to get our food. We had decided that five more minutes and we would leave. The food came as we were about to get up.

Went for breakfast. Service was good. Food was not the best. Pancakes were burnt. Flavored syrups we're not good. The eggs and hash browns were fine. Bacon was fairly underdone.

It seems in modern times that these restaurants have quietly lowered their ingredients standards. IHOP pancakes do not taste as good as they used to. I believe that the batter ingredients were substituted for a different formula that just doesn't give it its original sweet buttermilk taste. I also noticed that some cooks have the grill too hot and the pancakes come out overdone. Another thing that doesn't make any sense to me is, why do they serve you hot pancakes but cold butter in which every time you spread it over the pancakes it tears the pancakes apart. Why do they not serve warm spreadable butter to alleviate this.

They were a bit crowded, but not so crowded that service would be affected but it was kind of chaotic. It did not seem short staff. But I do have to say we've eaten there several times and the service wasn't as good as even with the amount of people that were there. But I have to say that the food was exceptionally salty this time. We will go back and try them again maybe the cook was just a little bit off. It seemed like a few other people in the restaurant had said something about how salty the food was this night.

Went for brunch with family. While the wait time to get a table was relatively short at 15mins, the time to be able to place the order was longer at 20mins and the time to get our order served was even longer at 30mins. Overall it was an hour before we got our food and the place was not even that busy! Definitely tested our patience.

How come poached eggs are so hard fir some of the cooks? Either raw or hard bolied lately. Table service people are always great though!

There was only one waiter covering a large area of people, he was running around doing the best he could. Then there were 2 young men standing in one place just talking and laughing and having fun for 45 minutes, even the party I was with notice this.

Food was subpar. Biggest problem was the waffle that we got only came with 4 pieces of one strawberry an charged us extra for more strawberries. It would've been fine if the 4 cut strawberries were whole ones.

Tried to do online ordering because you would get an extra 5.00 off Their website was not working Tried to call but the phone kept going to voice mail I finally just drove their to order in person I told them about the website they just said oh it must be down I told her about the phone she said oh yeah we get those complaints all the time but the phone works just fine So I called as I waited and it did not ring it went straight to voicemail.... I asked are you sure the phone isn't just being sent to voice mail..... Umm no they work great Then I get home to see they gave me sausage instead of bacon..... Noooooo At least the food tastes good

Every time I order the spinach and mushroom omelette the cheese is different.. definitely changed calorie count so you should be careful with that . Staff is very friendly , just sometiems get ignored when there is a shift change

Extremely slow service. They explained slow service due to inside being full. 1 1/2 hours for breakfast too long. Food was also cold. Will not be my first choice again.

My family wanted to go to IHOP so I went along, praying that I would be able to find something gluten free (I'm gluten intolerant). Omelette? No. Pancakes and waffles? Obviously not. Burgers? Maybe, but burgers for breakfast? I finally found a scramble fish that seemed gluten free, and when I asked the waiter to confirm, he checked with the cook, who told him really nothing is gluten free (translation: give up, and go somewhere else - but I didn't want to spoil it for everyone else). The Simply Fit Breakfast seemed ok though (egg whites, fruit, and turkey bacon). So celiacs and gluten sensitive people: find somewhere else to take your family. I'm sure it's fine for everyone else.

Not impressed. Disabled parking was nearly a city block from the door. Food was just 'ok.' Portions were small, pancakes weren't that good, & dishes were dirty. Had to ask for a new glass of water because the 1st one had something yellow & greasy smeared all over the glass. We won't be back.

Food was quick and tasted O.K. Table next to me had food on it, no one came by tho clean it. My coffee cup had a lipstick stain on it. Waitresses are coughing and sneezing near food stations. They could do better job at cleaning up.

Eggs Benedict was probably the worst I’ve ever had. Absolutely gross. And it’s really hard to make them actually gross. Onions? Candied onions? Be careful, it doesn’t say that on the menu. The egg yolk was basically just raw. Not cooked long enough at all. We got our food and the check at the same time. Never got any further assistance. $18 for food worse than $8 at Waffle House.

Food was good. Service sucked. Took too long to get our order taken. Server never brought refills on drinks. We didn't complain because we were starving and like I said, food was good. We asked for a container to take home three out of four pieces of chicken we didn't eat. Got up to pay our bill and ran back to the table because we left the Togo container... the server had thrown it away! We hadn't even left a n d he threw it out! Bunch of idiots working here. The two stars were for the food, nothing more.

We went on for early breakfast, food was good & fast. Also, the waitress was friendly & attentive giving excellent service. Other staff was very friendly too. BUT, THE FLOORS WERE VERY, VERY FILTHY EVERYWHERE WE LOOKED IN THIS PLACE. STICKY, WITH A LOT OF FOOD CRUMBS THAT WAS OBVIOUSLY NOT CLEANED FROM PREVIOUS DAY.

Eating for 2 people .. 1 burger and 1 breakfast plate of single french toast meal, with a side of two french toast... 2 ice teas came to $56. Which is absolutely outrageous... The server never once smiled, actually had a grumpy look on her face. You could tell that she didn't want to be there..very inviting.

Ordered to go through the app for pickup. That went well. Easy to use and pay. When I arrived I had to wait a few more minutes, not a big deal. Then the server starts to loudly complain about the cook to another server and yelling something about how to put stuff on the pancakes. A few people were trying to pay and again she was just yelling about the cook to the other server trying to help customers pay for their meal. Just uncomfortable to be around. Keep that in the back and not where people are eating and trying to enjoy a meal. I get my order and when I get home I see my bacon is just burnt to a crisp and just crumbles to pieces when touched. The chocolate pancakes were good. Sausage was very cold. And since it did not come with hash browns I ordered a side. For $4 your gonna give me the tiniest slab of hash browns. It was the size of a post-it note. What a joke.

this is a sad boy. SOMEONE unscrewed the pepper shaker and when he went to put pepper on his eggs it all fell out. the waitress saw this and didn’t even, did NOT EVEN offer more eggs. wow. but the bright side is that the 4 dollar all you can eat pancakes is a steal, i would recommend it if you are on a budget and have hunger pains.

I went there to have the chocolate chocolate pancake, and a regular burger, I told him I have an allergy for bacon, but he served me with bacon sticks, he offered turkey bacon sticks instead, but it was already done, the chocolate pancake were with poor portion of chocolate, is was bread for me, busy place with narrow walk sides, but it was good experience, the hot chocolat was good, but small portion also, place was clean, and has a variety of food, Thanks for your service I-Hop

I'm very disappointed that IHOP isn't what it used to be or perhaps it's a regional thing, because in the midwest, the food is great and customer service is warm and friendly. I can't say that about this location. We were all craving breakfast food after a chilling morning baseball game. After issues getting the app to work right, we placed our order for pick up. My son wanted an alternate to pancakes with his chicken and there was no option on the app like there is in restaurant, but turned out the pancakes were the best part of the meal so all good. My real issue with this visit was the eggs benedict. I am one that dislikes cooked egg yolks very much, so I love eggs benedict as they are usually over easy poached so you can pop them in the middle and mix the yolk with the hollandaise sauce and hash browns. The eggs today were way overcooked, almost over hard, definitely beyond over medium. I couldn't finish them, the consistency was just too unappetizing with the yolks cooked through like little bouncy rubber pieces when you cut it up. The hash browns were extremely salty, and I love salt, so they were hard to eat without the hollandaise or egg yolk to mix with them. The hollandaise sauce was thick like a paste and not much of it, but perhaps that's just from taking the order to go. My boys ran into pick up the food. The app said they were just finishing it, but it was bagged up and sitting there with nobody to help or acknowledge them. My son said the lady wasn't pleasant and just handed him the bag and turned around and went away. Perhaps I'm old school after working in restaurants, but a smile and a thank you go a long way. This is actually why we don't eat inside, the last experience was not pleasant at this location like they are doing you a favor by bringing your food and never see them again. My son's chicken was extra crispy if you like it that way and my other son enjoyed his burrito, can't go wrong with a burrito. $16 per meal: Big Breakfast burrito Classic Benedict Chicken and Pancakes Not cheap to have breakfast anymore and would have expected better. There are better breakfast options in town.

Waited to be seated in a empty store for 10 mins. then finally just sat down. The hash browns were burnt on outside and cold on inside. Coffee was cold. Entire meal had issues. Hair in my guest eggs. His food was cold. Been to alot of IHOP and never had this many problems. Store 1764. check 1900 9:15 am

Was waiting for seating for 5 people, was told 20 min. Waited over 50 min and seen multiple groups of people seated, who came after we did. Even a group of 13. By far, the worst IHOP I've ever been to. Ended up just leaving.

So three times I placed a order since the covid hit and all three times they messed up my order the last one was I order strawberry cheesecake pancakes and I got straight plain pancakes. I will not be going back their ever again.

The hot chocolate was basically hot water with a sprinkle of choco powder and the pancakes were still gooey and raw in the middle?? Payed over $30 for an uncooked meal and a gross drink. Dont waste your money here you're better off going to dennys.

As soon as we got our food they brought the bill not once did our server ask if we were OK or needed something else I had to interrupt the server's conversation with another server to get a refill. Never coming here again

Service was ridiculously slow and poorly managed. 40 minutes for breakfast food, didn't get what we asked for then it took another 20 minutes, we got all our food after the waiter asked if we were ready for our check but we only got 1 of 2 of our entrees. Dining room was at 1/4 capacity.

The food was not good. The eggs were undercooked, the toast was so hard you couldn't eat it. And there was still some batter in my pancakes. I was there with my boyfriend and it cost $47. Also over $4 for a glass of milk. Over $8 for 2 glasses of milk; no free refills. Bad food and worse prices. Do not go here.

The waitress who took my order on the phone was unprofessional rude and embarrassing. The other that brought my food acted like I didn't belong there and just stared at me like I was a zoo animal. I still tryed to be nice and give them a tip even though they didn't deserve it. The Food was ok. Nothing special,I'd rather eat at Denny's or Applebee's.At least they welcome everybody,not just a certain type of people.

Server Jesus R made my family and I go through an unpleasant moment that ruined my appetite shortly after seating down. He asked a question as to how many we were (sitting in a booth and an unnecessary question as he could see how many we were), not liking the answer he sighed heavily (even though he was wearing a mask he shouldn’t assume customers can’t see his facial expressions). He repeated questions trying to make his point, not satisfied with our answers, and as soon as he left after taking our drink order I could see him whisper to his blond, young, female coworker. People could assume he was whispering about us, but when she turned and looked straight at us it is less of an assumption and more of a fact that he was talking to her about us. We are very unpleased with all of this.

2 different times I tried to order curbside pickup. I parked in the curbside labeled parking space and I pressed the button they send you to on the website to say that you have arrived. No one ever came, both times the food was just sitting on a table. They should remove the curbside option because it isn't true. Not only that but I just tried it for the 2nd time right now, and my food was cold. I only picked up the food 12 min after order, and only 5 min after it said it would be ready. One of the bacon is also got a black spot and really brown hue to it, so I did not eat it for obvious reasons. Recently I also went with 3 of my friends here in the evening, all of us like around 19-20 and girls. There was no one else, and we had this one boy as a server, and he was really, really creepy. We were so uncomfortable the entire time because he kept on just outright staring at us like a statue, and he did not refill drinks unless we asked. He stared at us for around 2 hours. You would think that he would be wiping down tables, cleaning or organizing something but instead he just stared at us ! When we were trying to order, he did not understand the menu and kept confusing us, but it is not like it was a language barrier he just must not have known. He was also extremely awkward and when he would speak we could not hear what he was saying half of the time. Lowkey not worth it, do not recommend.

I love IHOP but this one was just horrible, our waiter never came to refill any drinks or come ask if we needed anything, basically after we got our food we didn't see the waiter again until I had to ask for my check. The food portion was very small I had the chicken in biscuit with gravy & my chicken was more batter than chicken meat... very disappointed & the pancakes didn't taste like usual IHOP pancakes. I'll never return to this IHOP I prefer the IHOP in Tracy or Pleasanton/Dublin area, this place was absolutely horrible.

Typical dated atmosphere. The Food sucked. Chicken fried steak had barely any meat and was dry as an old bone. Hash browns were like leather. The gravy was as flavorful as Elmer's. Coffee was weak. The pancakes were served with ice cold butter. Need I say more? Yes.. $45! 🤯
