One of my favorite ramen spots in Los Angeles. Their broth is amazing & taste almost creamy. Since the base is the foundation to any building the same can be said about Men Oh. It’s all about the broth I feel, it’s so damn good! The noodles are great, along with everything else. Service is great & certainly beats waiting at diakokuya for any excess amount of time. I even think it’s better than said ramen spot.

The Tokushima Ramen was outstanding, with pork slices and pork belly intermingled with perfectly cooked noodles. The broth, however, was the best part--I only wish there was more!

Quite possibly the best bowl of ramen I've ever had, and the fact that it's only around $12 a bowl is incredible. Thick, flavorful soup. Perfectly chewy noodles. Perfectly cooked soft-boiled egg and pork belly. Definitely try this place out.

This is where the locals of Little Tokyo come to have a delicious bite to eat! The food here is fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. The service here is always welcoming and courteous. The decor is simple and cozy. You can't go wrong here with appetizers, bowls, or the Ramen. Another Little Tokyo gem!

I'm not exactly a ramen expert, but I could say that the noodle quality was fantastic! It wasn't too soft like what other restaurants have, it was a bit firm just how I like it.

Best Ramen in LA! Grew up in LA and I’ve definitely tried many Ramen places and none can compare to the Ramen they have here 😋

Creamiest broth in LA. Quantity is bit lesser than other ramen stores but taste is absolutely worth it.

Got the mini rice bowl. Crazy good. Great service for a large party of 6.

Service: Waitress was lovely and gave great food advice Atmosphere: Think hole in the wall, but clean and spacious for our group of 6 Food: 10/10 would eat again (from the apps to the ramen -- everything was the best I've ever tasted)

Still one of my favorite ramen joints in LA.

Tokushimadon combo hit the spot, chicken karaage and gyoza were also included. Broth is tasty and it seems to have cream in it (it wasn’t heavy or greasy in my opinion.)

This food is so good, and reasonably priced I went here and will definitely be coming back The ramen and karage were phenomenal and though I didn’t have it myself I was told the teriyaki was delicious

The reason this joint stands out is its Tokushima-Style pork belly ramen. You *could* get roast pork if you want, but I'll feel sorry for you if you do. Getting the combination rice bowl to go with it is the easiest decision you've made in your life. They also have a vegan option, if that's your speed.

Great ramen and karaage! A hidden gem tug away from all the crowds. Great quality and service. They have an outdoor dinning area, very chill.

Quiet spot in little Tokyo for top grade ramen. Most places in little Tokyo require a wait for the hype of a bowl of noodles. This place serves the quality without the wait. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, this charming restaurant is small and can serve about 20 guests. Traditional Tonkotsu ramen is served. This restaurant is actually based in Japan, on the island of Shikoku. What makes their broth so good is how their land (Tokushima, hence Tonkotsu ramen) is an area known for pig farming. I like to sit at the bar. They serve 'spicy balls' to add to your soup to make your ramen more spicy. Japanese beer is served. Decently priced restaurant.

Been to several ramen spots on both east and west coast. This place has the flavor to keep you comin back. IF you get spicy tonkotsu, get a side of lemon wedfe and garlic paste, add a little to each bite for magical flavor!!! The waitress Jill shared this gourmet cuisine secret!! 😁🤫🤤😉

Beginning with Customer service was great! First time eating here and this type of food. The server was patient to explain the menu and described which were the best meals. When I received my meal I was satisfied with the presentation of my meal and delighted with the taste. Great experience.

In my opinion, truly the best ramen in Little Tokyo, it is always very consistent, no matter how many times I eat here. My wife and son love this plsce too. Their Tokushima Ramen is superb, strong pork broth along with the pork belly and chasu, truly amazing. I would always recommend this Ramen joint to my family and friends.

Amazing Ramen. This should be one of my top 5 overall ramen places in the US. I had the Tokushima Ramen (house specialty) and it was amazing. Lots of flavor in the broth and the meat was tasty. Add a miso spicy bomb if you like spicy. Food came fast and the service was great. Fully recommended if you wanna have good ramen.

This is hands down my favorite ramen spot. Men Oh Tokushima Ramen might be small, but the food is incredible, rich in flavor, and genuinely comforting. I have lost count of how many times I have come here for their spicy tonkotsu ramen. My go-to order is the spicy tonkotsu with the miso ball spice on the side since I cannot handle too much heat, along with a small teriyaki don bowl as a side. It is the perfect combo every time. I have come here with my girlfriend who is now my wife, brought friends and family, and even stopped by alone when I just wanted something satisfying. Every visit has been consistently great. The quality, the flavors, and the cozy atmosphere make it a go-to spot. Highly recommend if you are looking for authentic ramen that never disappoints.

Came in for a dinner shortly after their opening time, the vibes were nice and cozy. The service was great and the ramen was tasty and the broth was rich. Prices are a bit high compared to other places in the area, but I'd still recommend this restaurant if you prefer a more quiet and cozy vibe like myself!

The calming atmosphere of the restaurant centers you and creates the perfect vibe to enjoy the perfect bowl of Tokushima Ramen. The freshly made noodles had a very nice texture and feel. I loved the flavoring of the broth. The ingredients were all good in themselves and blended well with each other.

Took the A line from work. Subway drops you off on the other side of Honda Plaza. Great ramen really enjoyed the amount of noodles and two kinds of pork; sliced and belly. The broth was excellent and comforting. I added chili sauce and an order of gyoza and a Sapporo. $17 for a bowl of Tokushima Ramen. Very delicious.

This is a very small restaurant with not a lot of space but the food is really good there is a bar as well. I got a veggie ramen. With spicy miso ball and garlic on the side I must tell you it really hit the spot. I do have to make one comment is that they serve in a plastic Bowl with a steel plate I am not sure if that signifies something or what is it but other than that the food was amazing.

My families favorite ramen spot in LA! We always order their chicken karaage for appetizer and the spicy tonkatsu ramen is my favorite flavor. If you don’t like too much spice you can always get the regular tonkatsu and get the spicy miso ball on the side so you can choose how hot you want it to be! Service is always quick and the waiters are nice. We’ve never had a wait for a table either so that’s a plus. They also validate parking for the lot so you can get a discounted rate for parking in little Tokyo. 5 stars for delicious food and awesome service!

Quick and friendly service, our food came out quickly, and it was delicious! Had the tokushima and black garlic Ramen with a tokushima rice bowl. The rice bowl was accented nicely with scallions, the black garlic ramen had a smokey fried garlic flavor that went well with the creaminess of the pork bone, and the tokushima ramen had the nice addition of pan fried pork to go with the chashu. Good eating experience, will be back.

I was directing a music video and my crew was in need of good food because we had been filming for hours nonstop. I stumbled upon this place thanks to Yelp and I’m so glad we did because the food was great! In addition, it happens to be next door to one of my favorite Matcha joints. - @eatingwithricardo

Best ramen in little Tokyo and don’t need to wait normally. My Japanese friend recommended this one and we all love it. The service is amazing too. Last time, I left my purse there and I didn’t realize. The following week, I receive a phone call at work, the manager from the restaurant asked me if I left a purse, and he found my business card there. I mentioned I lived far so I would only grab it in the future. He suggested that he would take it home since there is cash in it, and he would bring to work once I am ready to go picked it up. I got my purse back successfully. Very appreciate

Waited about 40 minutes for a table of four before we got seated. I ordered the vegetarian ramen. It was pretty good. It has a very clean taste to it. I definitely recommend it. Parking prices were confusing because the sign lists out prices differently than what they actually charged us. It was $3 for the first three hours with validation. We forgot to get a validation but in the end, they only charged us $3.

Super thick broth hits the spot in 65 degree evening. Has patio style dining which is shared by 6 restaurants due to covid, which is super nice ambiance. I wish the parking requirements diminishes and incorporate current outdoor dining.

FOOD the tokushima ramen and chicken were quite good. Saltier side of ramen soup base, but a good salty - how ramen should be. SERVICE bar - food came out quickly and servers were friendly and quick. PARKING plentiful after 9 pm in lot

Food -Speed: lunch during the weekday was crazy. Waited about 45 minutes to get seating for two and ended up at the bar. Took 15 min for ramen to come out after ordering -Taste: vegetarian ramen tasted very subtle and clean. I prefer richer vegetarian broth from Kitakata Ramen in Buena Park, but this is a nice change up! -Portions: decent -Price: $12.45 for vegetarian ramen Tables -4-seat tables (x2) -2-seat tables (x6) -Seating: 7 bar seats and 20 table seats Plaza parking rates -lunch for Tuesday-Friday ($2 for first two hours with validation -dinner for Tuesday-Friday ($3 for first three hours with validation) -Saturday ($3 for first three hours with validation -Monday and Sunday ($3-5 per day depending on plaza parking prices) Thereafter prevailing rates will apply: >20 min = $1.50 >40 min = $3.00 >1 hour = $4.4 >1 hr 20 min = $6.00 >1 hr 40 min = $7.50 >2 hr = $8.00 >Maximum = $9.00

You’ve got to know what to order here, meaning go for the top option on the menu: the ramen with pork broth cooked for 14 hours so to extract the flavor from the bones. I asked why the broth was kind of white and they replied that this is due to a whitish liquid that comes out of the bones after several hours of cooking. If I was to rate this dish alone, I would give the place 5 stars. But I did go there one day and only tried appetizers: takoyaki, which were gross (fried octopus dough balls with a creamy mayonnaise like thing and what looked and smelled like food fish on top), and some fried chicken appetizer which was interesting, but not special. Service is fine. The place is small, and a bit noisy at times. On the second time I went they were playing some annoying pop songs, and pretty loud.

Pretty good but felt a little too salty. Good flavor, loved the karaage. Overall a decent ramen spot for the price.

Recommended as one of the best ramen in town by TimeOut, I was a bit disappointed. The broth was very good but felt the pork could be better.

This place is located in the edge of Little Tokyo, and it is kinda "hiding" inside a plaza, which you will have to look for it. It is a tiny restaurant. It is very clean. We ordered Tokushima ramen. The broth is pork bone base with a little soy sauce. The noodles is at the right texture (not too soft or hard). The egg is traditional "hot spring egg," which I like a lot. The service was great!!!

G
Grace Wong

Wow I was blown away by the chicken teriyaki bowl here. The menu isn’t big - it’s focused around ramen, but I’m more of a rice person than noodles so I got the chicken teriyaki rice bowl. They have a mini size which is half the price of the regular. The chicken teriyaki was heavy on the sauce for me (hence the four stars, good to ask for lighter next time) but it was delicious! The price wasn’t bad either. The seating area is on the smaller and tighter side but it’s a clean restaurant and the server was nice. It has a modest and humble storefront but the quality of the food is great. The parking lot it’s located in - Honda plaza - is free on Sundays but can get packed around lunch time. It’s a nice spot for a less crowded place (Japanese village plaza is more crowded). Overall I had a pleasant experience here — glad I tried them!

Men Oh Tokushima Ramen took a second to find. I actually walked by it without realizing it the first time. The signs were a bit hidden, and the white over the windows made it look like the surrounding walls. But, find it I did. The inside was cozy. A section off to the left with tables for 4 and groups. To the right, the bar, where I ended up sitting. There was Japanese music playing. A crazy mix of pop, classic, and rock that I had grown quite used to when I lived in Japan. I was a bit surprised that the TV didn't have NHK playing. But, they did have a lot of the stylized beer posters for Sapporo chilling on some walls. Definitely a Japanese vibe with an LA bent. The menu was pretty simple. Mostly Tonkotsu or bust. Which was fine for me since I'm a huge fan of the deep savory flavors that the style is know for. I believe their was a sides menu on the other side, but I didn't see many people ordering from it. I opted for their signature dish, the Tokushima Ramen. Though, the Spicy Tonkotsu was close second. I didn't have to wait too long. Nowhere near as fast as you get it in Japan, it still came out pretty quick. There was enough time to catch a couple commercial breaks on TV, sip through some water, have a couple nostalgia trips as songs I recognized played, and then it was set in front of me. The broth was solid. I was hit with a nice complex mix of spice and cream, and with a solid bite from the tsukemono, amazing. Noodles were a straighter variety, and cooked just right with a good firmness to them. The chunks of meat, I have to be honest, were only so-so. From how bold the broth was I was surprised at the lack of competition, no counterpoints to contrast. Just, really well cooked meat. The umami was solid, but...I hoped for a little more. About this time my neighbors Spicy Tonkotsu showed up and I was tempted to take a quick snap. But his appetite was faster than my reactions. So, that just gives me a reason to come back and try another of their ramens. What I had with the Tokushima Special Was definitely tasty and I have no regrets about it. Good to the last drop. I kinda made the people sitting on my other side gasp by how fast I ate it. I guess they'd never been to Japan. I'm a slowpoke compared to my old co-workers. The stories I could tell about eating out there... I'll probably hold off on coming back here until I've tried some other places. The meat as well as the price also got me a little bit. I suppose it's normal for that part of town, but $11.75 was a little much for me when I could just hop over to another Ramen shop I know of and get the same level for $9.50. The crew at the shop was great though. Service with a smile and no problems I heard of while I was there.

An above average bowl of ramen. Tokushima broth is not as thick as tonkotsu which means this is a bowl that can be enjoyed any time of the year. However, my chasu today was a bit on the dry side

We were planning to dine in Kinjiro or Sushi Gen, somehow neither of them were open last night. So we picked MENOH ramen because it was right at the corner. I would say the food was not bad, quick service at the peak time which was really good. I’d recommend Teriyaki Chicken Don rather than Tokushima Ramen.

I would say the food was not bad, quick service at the peak time which was really good. I’d recommend Teriyaki Chicken Don rather than Tokushima Ramen.

The Shoyu ramen's soup is like oil plus water. There wasn't much taste of the shoyu. However, the fried chicken had a nice Japanese mayonnaise. It was delicious.

Hmmm What I got the veggie ramen and added the veggie deluxe. Clear broth and it isn't as flavorful as I had imagined... Maybe I am missing an add-in... I still enjoyed the broth. For the noodles it was okay. Ive had better noodles for a ramen. I really likes the spicy bean sprouts that was on the veggie deluxe add on. Environment This is located inside a plaza that has paid parking. I can see the parking lot filling up fast during peak eating hours. The inside is quite small, there is a bar area with about 10 seats and then there are seating area with close to 10 tables I would say. Again, during peak hours I imagine it being very crowded and hard to move around Niceness of the staff The staff was super nice. For my veggie ramen it came with an egg which I didn't want and he was able to replace it no issue. Dollar It is regular ramen price, it was about $13 for the ramen and then 2.50 for the deluxe addition. To me this is expensive... ha.. (comparing to Japan) Yes? I wasn't really a fan. I am not local... so I would try a different ramen place.

Not worth the price. Read the reviews so had to try it. Not authentic at all. The broth tasted cream based and not pork broth. The noodles were hard and very think like thin spaghetti. Atmosphere is nice however.

The noodles were clumped together, and the broth was overly salty. I regret spending over $20 per ramen here. Daikokuya or Shinsengumi nearby would be a better choice.
