Good packed with taste food. The place also has great service. The employees are helpful and know their stuff about the food sold here. Wine and beer sold here too, so have a drink watch a Dodgers game on tv here. The food is really good. Only bad thing about this place is that it can get or be pricy. Private lot in the back that's really small. I do recommend this location. Enjoy.

My Aunt took me here as she loves going every time she visits LA which I found amusing but the place is a great locals restaurant for high quality food with big portions at a great price! The Mezcalita, 3 fish variety tacos and kale salad with salmon was exquisite! Highly recommend this spot but I have been told this specific location is better than the others FYI!

Senor fish is always one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the northeast LA area. The food is always delicious and the portion sizes are very good. A bit pricey but it won’t break the bank unless you’re a big family lol

I have eaten here several times when I'm in the area. The margaritas are the best, their food is great & it's a shame they close on 9pm on weekdays & not 10pm otherwise a wonderful place to eat & watch a game. Very romantic place to eat. Love the trees & plants surrounding the property. Very dog friendly too.

From tacos, shrimp tostadas, burritos, soups..etc....I have been going here for years when I needed some good food and they also serve beer and certain mixed drinks! I have been going to this place for about 28 years. Alicia, her brother and the entire staff are and have been amazing, the food is so delicious, tasty, it will make you lick your fingers. the vibe in this place is so great as well. But I want to take the time to recognize and thank Victor for handcrafting and preparing 2 of the most amazing and delicious margaritas, His avocado margarita is out of this world and his green apple cranberry margarita is so good you will want more, but be responsible. Thank you señor Fish and Victor for making our dining experience an unforgettable one.

Invariably some of the best food I've had, they're truly experts with various kinds of fish (fried & grilled), seafood and cocktails. I've only eaten here about a dozen times but I always leave extremely happy. Lots of outdoor seating and good prices.

Definitely the best fish tacos we had while we were here. Great prices too compared to most places around the city. Tasty soft shells packed with fish and toppings that were very fresh 👌 wish we discovered this place sooner. Will love to come back.

Very good food! I usually get the 3 fish tacos where I choose from various grilled fish, shrimp and scallops. You can do battered fried fish too. I really like the selection of draft beers they have. Because of covid, there's only outdoor seating. I actually prefer it, it's pretty nice!

This place has bomb margaritas. Seriously, really tasty and pretty strong. Their shrimp tacos are always delicious with well cooked, juicy shrimp that don't disappoint. Dog friendly patio and kid friendly.

One of the best Mexican food places in Eagle Rock. The seafood is fantastic and is really fresh. I love eating their shrimp and scallop burrito, but everything they have is fantastic. If you want something affordable, they have various specials that are very good. I'd highly recommend the 3 fish taco special with your choice of fish. There is a small inside with sparse seating, but the front and back outside patio areas have plenty of seating. Definitely check this place out if you are in the area.

A perfect first experience here! A fun, local place; casual outside dining or indoor seating restaurant. Very family oriented. I had the fish burrito, as recommended by my sister in law. It was huge and delicious! I could only eat half, and my husband enjoyed the other half when I got home. I would highly recommend coming here, for breakfast, lunch or dinner; you will love it!

This is the epitome of getting it done! We walked up and the menus were on whiteboards. Communication was thorough for a first time experience. The food was flavorful! Almost like eating from a taco truck back home.

Señor Fish is one of those tasty spots that won’t go away anytime soon. Though it has changed owners a couple of times, the concept has been the same. Authentic, home style, Mexican seafood at its best. The food is always fresh and delicious. You can always rely on what you ordered last time will be just as satisfying when you order it again. Bring some friends. Bring your date. Have some cocktails, beers, Mexican style drinks and of course, some tortilla chips and salsa. Did I mention that there is a wide variety of salsa and sauces to suit everyone’s needs? All the garnishes are there as well. I think the next thing they should do is have some consist, live performances on the weekends. Just close off the parking lot, which they have in the back and let the good times roll.

Big shout out to the cooks, servers and bartender that facilitated everything that made our boys birthday celebrate so easy and enjoyable. I called a few weeks in advance to reserve and they were able to accommodate me. The food was delicious hot and ready at the time requested. They close off the back side of the restaurant for privacy -it's now renovated and has plenty of room. Overall I am super happy with the choice we made. Communication to book and request dishes was easy. Big thanks to Enrique and all the Senor Fish staff. Definitely recommended. Also I was allowed to come in earlier to decorate.

Two breaded fish tacos al a carte are a good price and will fill you up... not to mention tasty. Margarita was small, pricey, and served in a plastic cup, though.

It’s Christmas and my grandfather and I have this every holiday. They were closed and then the owner came out and made our food. That was the nicest thing ever. The food is the best here. Everything is fresh and made to order. We will continue every holiday to get our seafood from senior fish

Must visit near Pasadena. The fish excels (got a whole fried tilapia or Mojarra), land tacos are decent enough, but not amazing. The seafood tacos we had were shrimp and whitefish and that was amazing. Definitely go for the seafood.

Senor Fish my always go to spot whenever I crave for Mexican! They never failed to make good and tasty food. My son and my most favourite is the vegan empanadas. I have had a bowl of hearty vegetable soup and its the best soup I have ever had from a Mexican restaurant. The only critique I have though would be mistakes on order or change or price charged. We have several experiences on few different occasions so will advise to request receipt and check your order.

Great food, flavor and service with a laid back relaxing atmosphere. Great especially for spring and summer weather. Usually order a pastor burrito and carnitas taco when visiting but went for quesadillas today and they were cheesy goodness, ending with a hotcake for dessert with more to take home. Can't go wrong. *Tortilla chips are always a great starter while waiting for our food with very generous servings of house salsa that will make you feel right at home.

A large group of family members went to dinner at Senor Fish and the food was great. It was served timely and tasty. The only thing was it was cool out and we elected to sit outside so we could share the same table. The outside heater was not working and with luck the breeze settled down and we managed to last in the chill. We will be back.

This place makes some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. I highly recommend the Ensenada Taco. It’s a fried fish taco but for slightly more $ it comes with a scoop of guacamole. The Pastor is also incredible. Pro tip: get it on a flour tortilla and they give you more food. (It’s also easier to eat) You can also get a margarita here too! Only reason why I don’t give it 5 stars is because It’s not totally consistent. But if you go when the owner is around, usually lunchtime, it’s utter perfection.

Ive been coming to this location for several years, it's a nice, casual local type place where the staff is always friendly, and the food is consistently good, no matter how busy they get. I usually get grilled fish tacos or the mixed seafood cocktail. Good stuff, fair price, good people. Go. Eat. Enjoy.

The food is very good. Fresh fish... I need to know what that means but yes it's good. We had Mahi Mahi, shrimp, and a few other fish dishes and they were all delicious. There is one TV for sports, most places don't have one and outdoor seating all benches. Prices are comparable to fish dish but better quality food. 👌

Best pastor I have ever had with the giant, fruit-filled tropical salad (although the strawberry vinaigrette was too sweet for me). I was worried about the long line when we walked up but they moved things along pretty quickly. Fried fish was good but a little bland.

Got 2 battered fish burritos to go, at $10 a piece. Good food but the prices are not what they used to be. The restaurant used to a house years ago is clean with one flat screen TV up to watch a sports game. The outdoor seating is great in the summer time.

I liked this location a bit better than the South Pasadena location. The outdoor seating was very pleasant. This time I ordered a scallop burrito instead of my normal scallop tacos, and was a little disappointed at the lack of scallops... I think there were maybe four or five tiny ones? But the seafood nachos were very good, as was the ceviche.

Fantastic fried fish, sopes, tacos, etc. Whenever my family is in town, my parents want to go there. It reminds them of the Caribe where delicious fried fish is standard. The fried shrimp is not my favorite but everything else is great! Portions on certain items have gotten smaller. Depending on who you3 get for pick up orders, the guy can be rude and I honestly believe he makes some charges on the spot. Sad to see my favorite place slide.

And it was very good, I recommend it! Fish selection was big and it all tasted pretty fresh but was a bit flavorless. There is some seating indoors and lots of seating outdoors. Small lot and decent street parking nearby. Wheelchair accessible.

Senor Fish has a large patio area that is comfortable and festive. Although it was not very busy at 7:30 pm when I arrived, it took them 30 minutes to bring out my two taco combo. Despite the wait, the food was fresh and delicious. I had one carnitas (pork) and one grilled fish taco. The meat was done perfectly, and both were warm when served as was the rice which was spiced just right. If it hadn't have been for the wait for the food and the diet coke from a can, I would have rated this place a 5. One still-existing COVID disappointment is the lack of the salsa bar. Pre-pandemic, the salsa bar always had enough variety to add the right twist to any dish. Hoping for a return to that soon. I would return here again and simple expect to spend a little more time than usual.

Decent Mexican food. Would've given 4 stars except they didn't include everything in our takeout order. Granted we could've checked the bag before leaving, but we wanted to minimize our time in public because of COVID & it was fairly busy. When we returned home, we noticed 2 of the meals missing. Good thing we live close by & we called ahead that we were returning to claim the other 2 meals. They had it ready for us. Wish they would've fulfilled the order correctly the first time though.

Really???? just one tostada of ceviche 15 dollars. Way over priced. It does not have caviar. It has alot cucumber. Alot tomatoes and Onion. How much of expensive fish? To many vegetables.

Been to this location a few times and to the Echo Park location a few times. Food is great at both, but every order from this place has been plagued by chaos and misunderstandings between employees about whether food is ready or not. Sadly, I've not yet had an experience here where I haven't walked away thinking, "that was messy." Food is still good.

I had high hopes for this place. There were only 3 customers ahead of me when ordering. It only took about 15 minutes for me to get my fish tacos. But they arrived cold and soggy… and of course the tortillas fell apart into a mess. The favors were good. Just bad execution.

Not bad, but not delicious either. I appreciate that my to-go order included 5 different types of salsa, but none of them particularly stood out. Grilled fish taco was ok. Steak was too salty. Did the job for a filling dinner but I don’t think I’d order again. Maybe better at the restaurant.

I dont like leaving bad reviews cuz Im sure it was just a one time bad moment but I always do google reviews so here goes. My eggs were over hard when i asked for over medium. Fine but i like my huevos rancheros with runny yolk. Sauce / salsa had mushrooms in it, which is super inauthentic ngl I have never had this dish with mushrooms in it. Beans on the side, which is whatever but I like it on the huevos. Last it was put on a tostada not a tortilla. Very inauthentic but I understand restaurants always do this dish in different ways which is why I wanted to try it here, no hate just not what I was expecting at all. Also the spanish rice was kinda mid. Beans are good though. I'll come back sometime to try to fish tacos. I just had a craving for huevos rancheros and this place is like half a block away from me. My craving was not satisfied tho :( I did takeout so no comment on service or atmosphere. It wasnt super busy so they gave me my order pretty quick.

This was good Mexican food! The staff was nice but the seating area was definitely a highlight. The food was slightly greasier than expected, but it was still tasty overall. The quesadilla might have been better with just cheese. Still a good place for some delicious chips and guacamole!

I don't know what was going on during this particular visit, but the fried fish was squishy and soft (normally the batter is quite crunchy). Tasted like bad microwave fish sticks. Normally I really enjoy the food here, so this was very disappointing. I'll definitely give them another try and hope that they can recover from their current slump.

I used to love this place but this last time I went it was not good anymore. The servers make you wait for no reason and they were arguing with eachother. the deep fried fish tacos were cold and soggy like they had been sitting around all day. The fries were okay but also cold. I probably won't be coming back here 😕

This has been my favorite spot for authentic Mexican for decades, but something has made it go downhill fast, and I suspect new ownership/management. I brought my mom for the first time yesterday. Ordering and finding a table was fine, but then we waited almost an hour to get our order. I've never waited more than 20 minutes. As we're waiting, we hear an argument between an older man and a young woman. She was courteous and attentive to all of the guests, but the older man (wearing a Rams blue cap) was dismissive and condescending to her. She was trying to convince him they needed more help, there's only one cook and the poor guy us exhausted, and that customers are waiting way too long. He repeatedly dismissed her and then sat down to have drinks with his buddies, oblivious and arrogant. Its sad that it seems management is either being stubborn or greedy and is burning out their staff. I'll go to the downtown location from now on if I want to impress someone from out of town with authentic Mexican. I hope they come to their senses before they fail, I'd hate to see an Eagle Rock staple go under for something so fixable.

This place was not worth my hunger. I went with my family and everyone ordered significantly different dishes and no one enjoyed their food. I had the fried mojarra. That was over fried and not juicy inside or seasoned. My son had the battered shrimp torta and that was dry. My husband had the fish taco plate and it was a soggy mess. My daughter had the most simple dish and even that was meh! at best. Not worth it I'm our opinion. It wasn't cheep either.

Took for ever to get my food. My family finished eating and i still didn't get my food. Other people who got there after me got their food and finished eating. When I asked for my food they didn't seem to care and an employee rudely said I just got here. Then he brought my food over 5 minutes later and didn't apologize for the wait. By this time my 2 kids were ready to go so had to take my food to go since I was mad and couldn't stand another second there. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I went here two weeks ago and spent $90 which is kinda great for a family of four. When I got home I noticed they didn't provide me $10 worth of drinks. When I called them and asked them for delivery of it and they should 'no' we don't deliver, to which I said "that's fine just refund me", but I'm still waiting for the refund some 2 weeks ago. I get the impression since I had to call three times, magically getting cut off each time in front of my family while we ate, that these employees especially the manager has no interest in refunding? I'm not sure if the owner knows about this kind of behavior from her employees or her manager. But I seem to remember she was very fair. Who knows, maybe they're under new ownership. I've been going here for years and years, but it's changed a lot.

I ordered what I thought was a Jaiva Tostada, this is far from it. How could a restaurant be proud of serving this to a customer? They can’t even add lemon or salt which are staple ingredients in tostada de jaiva. Never going here again! The guy who is preparing the food is obviously lazy…

I went here may 17th 2024 last Friday. The food was all right.The fish tacos where lacking of flavor. The only good thing about the tacos they were big.I ordered 3.Because I thought they were going to be small. I ordered a tropical Green salad The pineapple tasted like it was going bad all sour. Some of the greens of the salad Taste it like it was spoiling. My friend, she ordered a seafood soup that was good.I had a taste of her soup. The only thing that We both didn't like was that the cilantro and the onion were not chopped more Finer. It costs me 32.99 And they also charge when you pay with your card like two dollars and something cents. That I don't like. So anywho that's why I didn't leave them no tips because the food was not that great. And some of the salad and Pineapples where spoiling It tasted it like it was no good like when something is starting to Rot. I went there years ago and it was very good. I don't know what happened now. Maybe new owners or new people making the food. Who knows.

Meal took forever to come when there were very few customers waiting. Al pastor taco and Beens were super salty, I had to threw the whole thing away. Octopus ceviche doesn’t feel fresh at all. Strawberry cocktail drinks basic as hell…ruined my night.
