The best! Came here for the first time 6 years ago just after they opened. Was great then and has only improved. Staff is super friendly and the atmosphere has been upgraded. Great food and amazing prices. Can't say enough about this place.

Did not have high expectations for this place. I was blown away with the food very very good and great prices. Service was phenomenal Wally is fantastic server very attentive and a great server. This restaurant is lucky to have such an employee. Will definitely return!

Fun and colourful atmosphere. It’s on a side street from the main road, so it’s nice and quiet with no road noise. Super friendly staff. Great fish and shrimp tacos. They gave us a delicious and simple bean soup as an appetizer. Will be back!!

I ordered the guacamole and they prepared it tableside which was awesome and it was delish. Best guacamole I’ve had in Baja so far! I ordered the sea bass with mango and garlic which was also extremely tasty. A tad pricey, but everything was really good. The service was top notch. I highly recommend.

At first glance, it appears like a restaurant, but once you've stepped into this magical experience, your life will, be better. Service like many across the world dream of. Always clean, delicious fresh menu. The Cesar salad is something EVERYONE, deserves to feast upon. The fish is fresh, delicately seasoned with a combination of local cooking rare only to the Baja. Well crafted drinks with delicious tequila opportunities! When in Rome you go Roman when in the Baja, Beans and Rice is where you go!!!

Food was YUUUUUMMMYYYY! Their Ceviche is unique. I will say this... it shared for 2 felt like a meal. We also had the Malecajete was great. Two rounds of Margaritas and Cuba Libre's and the bill with our gratuity was $110. That part hurt. But cannot deny that the food was absolutely notable. Cash only... bring pesos.

Prices are reasonable for a tourist town. Good portions, lots of fish in the tacos and Pasta Alfredo was huge. Loved the flan for dessert. Super fast which worked well for us, might feel rushed for others.

Shrimp and table side guacamole were as good as any we have had in Cabo area. Not the cheapest but worth it for the service, presentation and location (easy walk from beach). Happy Hour on a Saturday afternoon helps as well.

So yummy!! We had a shrimp taco, a fish taco, a steak quesadilla and tuna ceviche and everything was really really good. Been in town a couple days and this was some of the best food we had and very reasonably priced. And 2for1 drinks :) extremely friendly and attentive staff with good covid practices. Our favorite eating place in Los Barriles. Staff is fun and friendly. Food is excellent! They cook your catch. We had them cold our dorotto catch, and it was one of the best meals I can remember.

Went there for dinner. Good live solo guitarist. The only place with live music on this night. The fish tacos are simple but there is a table with several garnishes and salsas to top them with.

Rice and beans is a wonderful place to grab a meal or cocktail. Enrique is a young man who is a server who is engaging. The food is wonderful and economical. The restaurant is clean and all the staff was friendly and helpful.

They make table side guacamole and Ceasar salad. Charming atmosphere. The food was fantastic. It is a cash only establishment.

Wie viele andere Lokale, sehr teuer, vor allem die größeren Gerichte. Die Hauptspeisen kosteten im Schnitt 300 Pesos und mehr.. Das ist zu viel. Angemessen oder noch in Ordnung waren der Preis für die Guacamole und Tacos. Beides lecker, empfehlen würden wir den Hühnchen und Rinder-Taco. Der Octopus war laut meiner Frau ok, aber etwas zäh. Die Guacamole ist direkt am Tisch frisch angerichtet worden. Der Service war ausgezeichnet, sehr freundlich und schnell.

My first time having a Molcajete! Huge serving - I shared with my husband along with some table side chips and guacamole. They have a salsa bar also where you can add sides to your chips! We will definitely be going back to try the Coconut Shrimp we saw another couple having on our way it out!

Stopped by here after hearing the whistle as I passed by. Everyone here was extremely nice and the service was excellent. I met the father who I presume owns the restaurant and his two sons. The father recommended the Al Pastor burrito so thats what I went with. It was very good and very big, 2 could probably share it. Overall this is a great little spot. I also wanna note that the bathrooms are nice clean and well stocked, this is a luxury around here and is much appreciated.

So here’s the thing. If I had enough money I’d fly down here, rent a car and drive out to Rice and Beans for just the Tortilla Soup, weekly. Now add the rest of the menu to the wit and charm of the waiters and we’d spend a small fortune on flights. Just saying. Honestly, in our humble opinion this is one of the finer establishments on the East Cape. Stop by, check it out and see what you think. If you enjoy good food along with some friendly banter this is a must stop.

I’ve heard about Beans and Rice for a few years but never made it over…. Disappointed it took me so long. They have great food and a very friendly staff. We ordered guacamole, which they make in front of you, and it was delicious! Also their Imperial Shrimp is amazing. Our whole group loved it so much we’re going back before our trip is over.

We visited Beans and Rice twice when visiting Los Barriles. We had 10 people and they gladly accommodated us. The staff was fun, friendly and wonderful. The Caesar salad made table side was delicious, as was the guacamole, which is a must have. The chili rellano was amazing and huge! The salsa bar was on point with different options. Our favorites were the smoky salsa and the habanero salsa. Excellent flavor. Octopus taco was delicious, cooked to perfection! The stuffed potatoes were also a hit. I would say though, that the fish ceviche won the gold. The featured fish when we were there was sea bass, and it was divine!! Thank you for such a great experience!

Great service and friendly staff! Ate here two nights and food/drinks were good both times. Table side guacamole was amazing. Only downside was that we ordered key lime pie and it was definitely a cheese cake of sorts (still good but not what we expected).

This place has a beautiful decor, staff was super friendly but kind of salesy and phoney... they did speak english and spanish. Mains were a bit expensive... drinks were airport expensive. Tacos we're what I'd expect. Our group had a mix of tacos and mains and everything was delicious. Nice little salsa bar and chips to snack on while waiting for meals. I'd likely not return for the mains or drinks because of the price.. but if you want just tacos and a beer it'll do the trick. Five stars if prices were better. Three only because of prices.

I know it is Mexico, but 4 different people came and asked us for our order right after we sat down and got drinks. When meal was over it was an hour before we got the bill. Food was all grilled which is fine, Salsa bar was limited with 6 items. Two hot sauces, shredded lettuce, jalapeños pickled and some real thin guac. Have ate better for less money.

Meh Really lack luster food, indifferent service and the fact the waiter was having repeated coughing attacks and actually coughed on us when removing our plates was just too much. Also we were charged more than the price stated for each item in the menu we had just looked at. Really?! Don’t bother. There are other better places to eat all over town.

Went there today, food's good, but the service wasn't as good as expected. We were the only mexican family there and the waiters took soooooo long to take OUR order and didn't even took it completely right. When someone was finally taking our order, he was kind of rushing us and acting desperately, but he took the order of the table next to us full of americans and he was being so kind and friendly..... Then my grandma ordered something else and they looked kinda annoyed for that ? one of them was even being sarcastic in a bad way idk I love sarcasm but it didn't feel well-intentioned. Also we realized all the other tables were receiving good attention from waiters (as they should) but we weren't. Could it be 'cause we're not blue eyed and blonde? 😬😬

The food was over priced and bland. Our fish was undercooked to the point of raw and I saw a server drop a fork and put it back in the bin. They still do not accept cards and the exchange rate was pretty bad. I would not recommend.

The atmosphere is nice enough, but everything else is overrated. The food is expensive, and the portions are small. The tortilla soup was good, but everything else was bland. The waitstaff are also surprisingly aggressive in trying to get you to order extra drinks and food. It was quite annoying. There are much better options in Los Barriles.
