For the SECOND straight year, KAREN, has totally blown me away with her amazing skills. She goes Hard in the Paint! My daughter is obsessed with Sleeping Beauty. For her third birthday her only request was a sleeping beauty icecream cake. Karen free handed the cake for my daughter and totally surpassed anything I had in mind. She did a Frozen bday cake last year and it was awesome as well. Karen! YOU ROCK!!!!

Drive Through Service on August 13,2020 was exceptionally fast, the order was correct and served with a smiling attendant. Also, they gave me a napkin wet wipe to clean my hands before eating - it was much appreciated as I couldn't wash my hands before lunch.

5 STARS. I mean, it’s Dairy Queen. How could you not love it? This location certainly delivers. The employees are always nice, it’s super close to our house, and their ice cream is always excellent.

Best inexpensive breakfast around. Ordered Country platter w/ bacon. You get 2 "real" eggs cooked to order, 4 strips of bacon, 2 biscuits, and a hashbrown for like $6.50. They have any size soft drinks for $1.00. They ask for your name when you order and deliver your food to your table. The lady picking up trays even remembered my name. The place usually has a lot of locals for breakfast, but there is still room to sit. I'll continue to visit this place based on the service and menu.

People in front of me had a large family and large order while mine was small. Had worker bring my order out to me before I even reached the window, took my card and brought it back in a heat advisory. Very thoughtful.

If you haven't gotten a DQ burger in a while like me - give them a try again. Quality is up there. I'd take a DQ burger over a McD quarter pounder every time. Coupled with the fact I can get a blizzard while I'm there, the DQ lounge is a worthy lunch destination once again 🤘

I always get an Oreo cheesequake blizzard but usually it’s mostly vanilla ice cream and just a sprinkle of Oreo and cheesecake. So I always ask for extra extra Oreos (I’ve found the second extra makes a big difference) but I don’t think I would need to do that at this location! They really listened and this is the most Oreo I’ve ever had in my blizzard 😊 it’s so delicious!!! And this location is 2/2 so far! So happy to have found a great location and get a great blizzard. It’s the little things sometimes but it made my day.

I compare this Dairy Queen to any 5 Star full service restaurant! The food, cleanliness, atmosphere, digital services capability, T.V. monitors, and especially the friendly service. These folks make you feel like your family!

There are three other Dairy Queen locations closer to my house but I will drive out of my way to come here. They get your order right and the Blizzards are made correctly. Love the Middletown location.

About 6 of us ladies "of a certain age" meet on Fridays at Bill Bond's DQ on Shelbyville Rd. We are all EHS grads - 1969. We enjoy catching up with each other most Fridays at 9:30 am. Stop in and say hi to the "Coffee Girls"!

Country breakfast platter can be ordered as "Atkins". They leave off the hash browns and two biscuits and double the eggs and bacon. The Middletown Ky DQ breakfast food quality is outstanding! Crispy bacon and eggs can be ordered any style and they are very much right on the money...over easy, over medium, scrambled, also offer country ham, sausage as paired options with your eggs. My wife and I split a platter, order two pieces of toast lightly buttered. Such a wonderful Saturday morning treat!

This particular DQ is the best fast food restaurant I have experienced. It's like visiting family for a meal. The staff is so friendly and attentive. They talk TO you not AT you. The food is ALWAYS so good. The $5 lunch special is such a great deal. It comes with a beverage and a DQ sundae!! You can't beat that!! Breakfast there is great, too. Eggs any way you want them and a choice of bacon, sausage, city ham, country ham, or grilled chicken. The bacon is nice and crispy (or order it chewy, and they'll do that too!). The best part are the owners, Dad and son, Bill and Billy. Bill is so much fun and always ready with a smile and great service. Billy is a super conscientious guy with your satisfaction his number one goal. I just love the Middletown DQ!! 😊

One of top 10 American eating experiences of my wife from Amsterdam. I haven't eaten DQ too often as an adult but that butterfinger blizzard and chicken strip basket with Texas toast and gravel?! MmmMM It was just as good as I remembered it growing up!

This is the best dairy queen in Kentucky. I have been going here for years and have never had a bad experience. Food is always fresh and customer service is always great. And fries are always fresh and that is hard to do.

Nothing special about the food , but the service is 100%. Customer service is a lost trade , but you can tell it’s still very important here with both ownership and management. Clean , polite , and professional. A lot of your $$$$$ restaurants in the area could learn a lot from this gem . Employees are awesome, and I highly recommend.

I live 2 minutes from the Goldsmith lane location and I drive all the way to this location because it’s 1000x better. The customer service is always great. All the employees are friendly every single time and they always give a large portion of food. And they don’t try to substitute the gravy in my tender basket for bbq Sauce and try to tell me I can only have 1 or the other like the Goldsmith location.

I ordered an ice cream cake. I believe the lady who took my order and who makes the cakes is called Kate (I hope I have her name right!). She was so friendly, helpful, and efficient on the phone. And she clearly loves what she is doing. Pick up was easy at the drive thru, and the cake is beautiful, with the sentiment correctly written. Highly recommend!

I was in this Dairy Queen for all of 15 seconds and knew this was the best DQ I’d ever stepped foot in. I was very impressed at how clean it was, they had ale-8 on tap, and appeared to be VERY well staffed which is rarity in these days. Employees were all friendly, worked well together from what I witnessed (another rarity these days), and they had my food out to me before I could even sit down! Food was equally as good.

The best Dairy Queen ever! The staff is so nice and the attention to detail is awesome. We got a carry out here for our family of four and my husband got the bbq tenders and the bag had some little hand towels and plenty of napkins and silverware. My drink was fresh and crisp and they prepared that. Idk I feel like it’s hard to find good service especially in fast food but I promise in this place really has it down. This is really the only dairy queen I'll go to anymore. Some of the other ones I have been to the food is just awful. This location on Shelbyville Rd. Is always good though. Food always is fresh and hot.

This particular Dairy Queen is the best fast food restaurant I have EVER been to. The place is spotlessly clean. The staff is super friendly and cheerful. The food is freshly prepared and delicious. The senior owner, when there, walks around greeting and chatting with folks. There are so many regular customers that he knows by name. The place fills up for Saturday morning breakfasts. Lots of windows makes it bright and cheerful. Its a fun and happy place.They go all out to meet the customers' preferences. For example, I request an Adkins-style country breakfast, which is not on the menu board. They double the meat and eggs and leave off the biscuits and hash browns. Are you hankering for a BLT? It's not on the menu, but they'll gladly fix you one. And a minor perk are their big napkins! Thank you Bill and Billy for such a great neighborhood place to eat!!

Probably the best DQ in Louisville. The food is always hot n fresh, staff are always cheery and super helpful AND it's always clean as a whistle! Seriously...you can imagine what fast food service was like in the 50's or 60's when you visit this DQ. Always impressed me that they have really good quality napkins and REAL ketchup bottles on every table too. The little things really help this place stand out. Exceptional DQ - well done to the owners and staff.

Late evening eating decision...9p+. Tables and seats were not clean. Bit server readily cleaned for us. Food was hot, fries delicious, and ice cream desserts yummy.

It's fast food, but one word: Blizzards. Good stuff, but not on the overall diet plan. The ice cream cakes are better than Greaeters, and that is saying something.

Good location with outdoor seating for the summer but plenty of indoor seating for pairs or families. Lighting is a bit dim but customer areas are clean.

Staff were friendly. Food was good for a reasonable price. Even though they were a little busy when I came in, my order did not take long at all to receive.

A little outdated, but gets the job done. Plenty of tables for indoor and outdoor fast food eating plus delicious but expensive desserts.

Ice cream is a delicious treat as always, no surprise there. What the true surprise is the food! Man their food is cheap and delicious, truly unsuspecting from a place mainly focusing on sweet treats. The burgers are the most delicious part. Can’t get enough of them! Definitely hand crafted with love and care, love this place!

It is my believe if the price of food is one price in Fairdale it should be the same price on Shelbyville Road in Middletown. The price is actually about $1.40 more for the country platter and $.20 more for a cup of gravy. Not good business practices. Food quality and quantity close to the same.

OK...is it just me or has the world changed at DQ??? I wanted to order an Ice Cream Sandwich...but NONE of the six or so employees ( all millennials) knew what I was talking about!!!...for the rest of you who don't know..it WAS two dark cookie cakes sandwiching DQ's typical vanilla ice cream(?).

Prices are going up and quality seems to be going down. Spent almost $30 on food and ice cream treats. Food was cold and strawberry shake had the consistency of water and had what seemed to be pieces of plastic in it

I stopped by for dinner last week and was shocked at the prices. I don't eat out much, but wow. I was not too impressed with my burger, and my daughter ended up not eating hers or her fries. I'm not sure if it was an off day or what, but I doubt I will be rushing back anyway.

Nothing special about this place. Staff are polite but the owner is arrogant and snarky. He has been rude on several occasions. Charges Extra for gravy with the chicken tenders on the two for four menu when it shows as included in the menu picture. When we presented a coupon he was outraged and rude instead of telling us it wasn’t honored at his franchise. I will go to Brownsboro Rd instead if I want DQ he obvious doesn’t care about return business because they are rarely crowded

This Dairy Queen has decided it will no longer accept coupons from the Dairy Queen app because "it is not own by corporate". I can't find the statistics of corporate vs. franchised owned for DQ but if it is like most fast food franchises I'm guessing the majority are franchised own. They participate in other corporate things like Blizzard of the Month but sniff their nose at coupons. This type of stupidity really bothers me and I will take my once a week medium Blizzard purchase to another DQ location going forward. If this sort of thing doesn't bother you at all then consider this otherwise a 4 out of 5 stars review.

As it would appear the burgers and cold items have been good. Here lately the fries haven’t been. This is the middle of day and instead of putting fresh fries down these were re-fried French Fries. I did find two edible fries to eat though! How about not re-frying French Fries when customers expect fresh made for the money we’re spending!! At least the burger was satisfying!

Went with friends. We all got food by which I mean we all ordered food. Everyone got their food except me. Sucks to get all the way home to find that no one checked the bag and now they're all eating their food in front of you. Love spending money to watch my friends eat.

Not enough toppings in blizzard. It's upsetting when you ask for extra and get charged for extra and receive a blizzard that is basically just vanilla soft serve with some oreo specks sprinkled in.

I haven't been around anyone for about 2 weeks now. It was a nice and sunny day and thought I would take my granddaughter (who lives with us) to get ice cream. As we pulled up to the window., none of the workers had plastic gloves on to serve the food. STUPIDITY AT ITS FINEST during this time!

If you have a service animal stay away from this place! We were asked to leave this morning after they sold us food and served it to our table. It wasn’t a good way to start our day. Service animals are important to the people who need them. Not allowing people with service animals in your restaurant is discrimination against the animal and the owner. Very disheartening.

My family has always loved the chicken baskets, we have not been in awhile, image my shock and disappointment when we ordered chicken baskets today! They have changed the chicken, it was awful, just terrible. I’m not sure if this was a franchise decision or the Middletown location changed, but it’s not for my family, no one ate the meal!

Staff wouldn't accommodate my request for icing on the ice cream cake I purchased even though they always have in the past. When I requested to speak to the manager the dude said he was the owner. I asked what changed, and he just kept rudely exclaiming that he wouldn't put the icing on the cake. He also wouldn't give me his name. I'll never return. Hope the icing was worth it.

Horrible management. I ordered sausage gravy and biscuits but the gravy has no sausage! If I hunt for it I can find a tiny little speck of sausage Which tells me it’s supposed to have sausage in it. It’s like they took one Patty and graded it to be spread across 5 gallons of gravy. This is one of several problems in my short visit to the only franchised Dairy Queen left. I’m grateful to the three associates who wanted to make it right. But when they tried to each time I spoke with one of them, the manager stepped in and made it known that he is apparently too broke to offer outstanding customer service. This is the second mess up in a row. Let’s hope third times the charm and they can get it right!

Really disappointed I’ve gotten the royal chocolate brownie blizzard twice, and there was absolutely no royal fudge in it at all barely any toppings even in it it wasn’t even a blizzard. It was just chocolate ice cream pretty much.

Pulled into the drive thru on a weekday afternoon to take my elderly Mother a milkshake. Was told by the clerk at the Bardstown Rd. and Goldsmith Lane DQ that they were “out of ingredients for milkshakes” and could not make one. I inquired about the “ingredients” and was told they had “no milk”. What???
