Es el restaurante más bonito de este complejo turístico ...tiene una vista preciosa, el buffet está muy variado y una gran cantidad de platillos...el servicio es muy bueno...

Se desayuna muy rico en el restaurante del lago. El servicio es bueno, el ambiente agradable solo tiene un detalle, se maneja por desniveles por lo que encuentras escalones en varios puntos lo que lo hace de difícil acceso para personas de la tercera edad o con algún problema para caminar

It is Oct and hot. The restaurant was sparsely populated at 7 PM. But the service was excellent. Good with advice and friendly. We had bacon wrapped jumbo amino served flaming. And I had shrimp lasagna. Excellent choices. We started with guacamole prepared at the table. Love this place. We come every trip. Never had less than perfect meal.

It was amazing! We had a table that looked out over a lake that was full of turtles and birds and all kinds of amazing animals but it was sunset so we had the sunset as well with the color changes. At this time of the year you do not need reservations. The food was amazing. Service was fantastic. We had the coconut shrimp and my husband had the fish . The Menu very extensive. It has a big blue shrimp. They were soft and tender like they should be. The restaurant was open air. It was clean. The bathrooms were clean. It was a huge thatch roofed building with elevated ceilings. There was all kinds of art and things all over the walls. Lots of pictures of famous people that have been there.

Food was a bit more tourist centric- but decent. Flavor was there. Bugs can be a problem but it’s to be expected with open air seating.

We saw this restaurant on the way to our resort and decided to didn't a try. The restaurant is quaintly located beside a lagoon area. The 4 of us ordered different dishes including: 1/4 KG Garlic Shrimp, Baja Style Tacos, Seafood Coquilles St Jacques & Filet Mignon with Jumbo Shrimp. The food was fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. The service was fantastic. We would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back.

Very good food!! The reviews were True. The Seafood Soup was delicious. I ate the rest The next day at my resort and it was so good! The Blue shrimp were huge and succulent. The butterflied snapper was seasoned to perfection!I will definitely come here again!

We looked for a unique place in Nuevo Vallarta when in visiting from Canada. This was the perfect place. It's located on a quaint lagoon with wildlife. Our resort called in advance and booked us sitting directly next to the lagoon, so pretty! We were there at sunset so it was cool to see in daylight and night. Service was top notch, cocktails and food were amazing. It's pricey but worth the unique experience! Order the guacamole and tortilla soup! I loved the Red Party cocktail! Looking forward to going back!

Ventured off our resort on a rainy day and went here for an early Valentine Day supper and we are so glad we did! The food and drinks were amazing! I can't remember our servers name but he was amazing too ! Best restaurant I have eaten at in PV/ Nuevo ♡

First time in. Definitely highly recommend and We will be back often. By far the best we have encountered in all of our years traveling to Mexico. Party of 8. One wheelchair. Birthday celebration. The staff was friendly and very engaging. Guacamole custom made at our table. The food presentation was beautiful. The quality and size of the shrimp were huge (under 8's)!!! Everyone at our table was in awe of the entire evening. Those shrimp though. Just can't say enough...Fantastic!!!

Mega and his support staff provided excellent service for an excellent meal. He explained well all seafood options and with good manners and good humor answered our questions. Food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Our best meal to date. The environment is beautiful and is clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Such a cute place. Food is good. Come here if you can. The venue is adorable. Prices are a little high but the food is good. Cocktails were fun. One year I tried coconut shrimp at Mayapan (paradise village) Riviera Grill and the Blue Shrimp. Blue Shrimp was by far the best. It was excellent this time too. Staff was wearing shirts from a lobster place in punta de mita which seemed new. This is one of the best places in Nuevo Vallarta. It’s a classic.

We invited our parents to the Blue Shrimp and enjoyed the experience. Somewhere between fine dining and upscale casual; Above avg tableside presentation of food and drink. Huge lobster tails, Blue shrimp and scallops the diameter of a Ding dong and twice as thick. The shrimp lasagna was excellent too, crisp top, perfect body, flavor and loaded with bite size cuts of shrimp. The outdoor atmosphere was a nice surprise. Expect good attentive service, food and drink all coming at a fairly high price. True overall score, 4.83. The bread rolls are underwhelming and setting menus on your bread plate twice may seem like nit picking, but need to be addressed.

Quaint establishment that belies the quality of the food. Very fresh seafood, well prepared and beautifully plated. Make sure you hear the chef's specials of the day for some off menu great choices. The Caesar salad is prepared table side and the preparation is a show in itself. The night we were there a saxophonist played great old standards and as well as more contemporary pieces. Not too loud and the perfect background for a relaxing meal. If you sit next to the water make sure to watch for turtles and crocodiles. End the evening with a Mexican flaming coffee, another table side show. The wait staff were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. All in all, a wonderful dining experience.

The prices are pretty expensive, but the food and customer service is amazing. The ceviche was yum, lobster was great and they sell really large sea food items. The chips were fresh, the drinks were good, weak, but good. The presentation of the plates were amazing. Oh and crab tacos are a great starter.

Buffet muy variado, primero te sirven café que por cierto estaba muy concentrado y jugó verde o de naranja, todo es refill. En el área del buffet puedes encontrar, carnes, carnes frías, cereales, ensaladas, pescado, makis, frutas, todo tipo de comida mexicana. Utilizan buenos productos aunque algunas de las preparaciones no son muy buenas, pero en general bastante bien. Tambien puedes pedir que te preparen un homelete o crepas El precio personalmente me parece un poco caro, 430 pesos por persona

El buffet es variado no todo está rico, pero se defiende, el precio es el justo por el lugar tan bello

Service was friendly. The tuna poke was excellent: fresh, nicely seasoned. The shrimp cucuracha was spicy but rather characterless and the marlin tacos consisted of some unidentifiable crispy stuff that really didn’t taste of anything. Scrapings off the griddle? But the very lowest point was the drinks. A cucumber gin and tonic that was sweet and watery (!) and a margarita that could have been dispensed from the faucet. Still, it came to just $53 for two so all wasn’t lost….. 🫤

The atmosphere here was really nice and relaxing. It wasn't busy and the servers were really friendly. I had the Caesar salad that was made at the table, it was a little soupy but a fun experience. My husband's steak was ok. But I love the outdoor experience, we had fun.

Pretty view and cozy place, they have a fixed menu also so ask for the option of the day, usually soup or salad, fish/shrimp/chicken and dessert for 350 mxn. The rest of the menu is tasty as well, pretty view.

The service was excellent. Across our 12 person group the food rated as ok. The shrimp dishes were great, the chile rellano lobster was ok but not memorable, and the beef tenderloin was tough and bad. Caesar salad was made table side and good. Stick with the seafood and you will be happier. Trying to pay was a disaster. One of the more expensive average meals I have had.

This place was overly priced for the quality of food. The calamari was terrible. It was very chewy and too much breading. The fries were meh. The guacamole was good and neat that it was prepared at the table. The Caesar salad was very good. The drinks were horrendously over priced. The catch of the day was very good. The bread was good, but the margarine on the side was awful. The chile lobster was ok, but disappointing. The shrimp was overcooked. On the whole I would not return. The atmosphere was neat, I loved the turtles!

Qué les pasó? Hace años que vacacionamos en Vidanta, siempre hemos sido afectos a disfrutar del desayuno en Café del Lago, sin embargo, esta vez no ha valido la pena, se eternizan para reponer los platillos que se van terminando, los meseros andan demasiado ocupados y no están al pendiente de las mesas, ayer todavía faltaba una hora para que cerraran, se terminó el panqué de zanahoria, no vi lo repusieran y seguían dejando entrar comensales cuando ya faltaban demasiados platillos. Muy de malas!

Very disappointing. My “filet mignon” was barely edible what with all the gristle and I barely ate it. My wife’s Coquilles St. Jacques was not much better, particularly the scallops which were rubbery and tasteless. The waiter said I wouldn’t have to pay for it which turned into a 15% reduction and a slice of cheesecake.
