Opiniones de Dig New York
Delicious healthy food that is very reasonably priced. Food comes fast even if there is a line out the door. Not recommended for kids or large groups.
Tasty food for reasonable prices. Fast service and clean space. I got cashew kale, cheesy cauliflower, crispy chicken, sweet potato and hot honey. Everything was delicious and thoughtful!
I enjoy this particular DIG. because it’s so close to the theaters! It’s a great affordable spot to enjoy a meal with a my friends before we take in a show. Food is filling but light. They also take into consideration that people are going to shows so food always seems to be fresh!
Good food at a great price for Broadway. Convenient location to Wicked. We got quality food in less than five minutes, and were very pleased with each of our meals. It was a definite upgrade to other fast options.
Was excited to find this place when coming to NYC for a show. I loved that it was a healthier option that we could grab quickly. It was delicious and the staff was super friendly! Only thing they need is more seating 😉
The Dig vegan bowl is nutritious, wholesome and innovative with vegan ranch complementing a new crispy recipe of their tofu. great flavors and portions, and appreciate how the brand offers fantastic attention to dietary restrictions and plant based communities with many options. wonderful service as well!
I love Dig. Always tastes like home cooked food… very delicious. Had salmon, greens mixed with brown rice, broccoli and mac & cheese. Super filling! The only thing is I wish it was warmer, but overall love the food here
Solid lunch plates at a decent price for this area. 1000th review!
This was my first time here and everyone was very patient and friendly. The salad with charred chicken, tomatoes & cucumbers, & sweet potatoes was so good I didn’t end up using any dressing. Will definitely be back! A great healthy meal option.
The food is probably better than most food sold in NYC. New York was know for great cuisine but everything is so bad and if you want decent food you will have to pay $50 to $100 a plate and you’re still taking a risk. DIG is one of the few places you can get good healthy food as if you were cooking at home. Fresh and healthy food at a decent price. New York is full of nasty fast food that cost more than you would pay at DIG. I definitely recommend it.
Overall a 5 I gave them a 4 for atmosphere due to them having no bathroom from what I noticed. Probably just for employees in the back. Employees were ALLLLL super friendly! Definitely team players! The whole staff was helping each other out! I loved and enjoyed seeing it! Restaurant was super clean no complaints whatsoever!! Good job guys! Food overall always good I get double Mac and cheese with Chicken breast.. I noticed they had charred chicken which is new and I ask for a side of it to try!!
If you’re looking for a good quick bite. Step in. The food was served warm and the flavors were delicious. Notably, they cook salmon to order so if you pick that he will most definitely have something fresh and quickly delivered. Wheelchair accessible and clean.
Plentiful portions, healthy and food. Spent $30 for 2 people when every other meal we’ve had in the area has been at least $45-60. Very good value for the price.
The bowl I got here was so fresh and so delish. Not great place to sit and eat inside if busy. I would love to come back.
The unique almost home cooking and sitting at a common table. Food was outstanding and for Manhattan the price was a very good value Choice of base, sides and protein. Everything we got was very flavorful. Recommended!
Came to NYC for a long weekend getaway and stumbled upon this gem when we needed a quick bite for lunch. Couldn't believe how affordable it was and SO SO delicious. We were only in town for 4 days but came back a second time because it was so fresh and yummy! I rarely eat healthy but if I lived close by, I would eat this daily. 100% recommend.
So good! We ordered online and it was ready on time to avoid the long lines. Amazing bagels, my favorite I’ve had in New York. The owner was so kind and welcoming to us and our friends who were visiting from out of town and I can’t wait to go back!
Love the food. It’s like home made dinner. Fresh and healthy ingredients. Portions are big. Enough for 2 meals. I would rather take out. The interior is super simple, not many places to sit. Also not super clean. But the food is yum.
Everything looked so good. I ended up trying the brisket which was delicious. What really made it special was the lady working. She was so nice and took the time to explain everything since it was my first time here
I love dig inn, it is amongst the top 3 fast casual along with chipotle and cava. Price wise it is on par with cava and a bit more expensive than chipotle but imo it has the most high quality ingredients of the 3. And their charred chicken is as good as chipotle chicken.
I ended up at the only other food spot besides the diner cause amazingly every other food spot was closed! I entered and a very nice lady I think the chef helped me out. I ended up getting a bowl with barley, Brussels sprouts and huge carrots with charred chicken. Very delicious and super healthy! I also added extra protein which was the grilled salmon! Delicious! Thank you for being open! 🩵
Everything was perfect the food the service everyone is great. There was Nice Asian boy who was very kind.
Delicious food with many choices. I had the kale with cashews, Mexican corn salad, roasted cauliflower, and charred chicken breast with hot honey sauce. A lot of food at a good price. Not a lot of seating space in the restaurant but we took it to go back to our hotel. Great for low-carb and gluten-free.
The food was delicious! Great value! The place was pretty small-they could probably use some more sitting area. Overall a great experience. Will definitely try their other locations!
Food is excellent! Lots of veggie options and so fresh. The Alaskan salmon was cooked at time of order and nicely done on the crispy skin! Very tasty. I appreciated the option to build my own bowl. Decor is minimalist. Limited seating.
I got a build your own bowl, the staff was amazing and helpful! Best customer service I have received in a long time. I visited the night of 1/17/22 and all three men working were extremely nice and welcoming. The food tasted great, I got the apple celery mix, Brussels sprouts & kale Cesar. The aioli sauce is a MUST!
Fast, healthy, and satiating. A great, easy and quick meal for those of us that are time crunched working 2 show days on Broadway.
Great fast casual spot for healthy, hearty meals! I moved out of NYC years ago, but try to visit Dig Inn at least once every time I’m in town. Reasonably priced and delicious! Sometimes I grab a quick satisfying meal from this location before seeing a Broadway show.
Great food, quick service - not a lot of seating- only room for 12-15 people, but it worked out for us.
I stop by Dig Inn in the Theatre District on 8th Ave pretty often and the food is always really good. One of my favorites is the hot honey chicken bowl with mac and cheese, broccoli, carrots, and chicken. Everything is fresh and really filling. Also want to mention the Asian woman who works there because she’s always super friendly and great with customers. Every time I come in she’s welcoming, helpful if you have questions about the food, and just really good with people. 🥺🥺You can tell she cares about making sure everyone has a good experience. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I’m in the area, overall great vibe!
I’m a DIG veteran, so I can attest to the food’s general attrition in taste post-covid, but I recently had the best DIG bowl in my life here ~two weeks ago. Still thinking about it. Shout-out to the manager on duty (young woman in her 20s) who was really sweet before close.
hello. first of all, i saw the B rating on they door and knew they was lying again. it really is unfair. this salad place has always been one of the best- i’ve been here before. they are kind they are fair they serve their customers food with the most respect i’ve ever seen. the most clear and clean- the conversation is more a matter of if the person investigating restaurants had their mind(s) right at the time. i am always kind i am always loving. everyone be well it is nice to see you. - arthur
Took out the chicken burger with Mac & Cheese and a bowl. Both was a lot for dinner and tasted great. Price was reasonable for the amount of food. Very quick and friendly service.
DIG - From the Farm to Your Plate, Consistently Good Returning to DIG in New York was a treat I had been anticipating since my last visit, and it did not disappoint. The farm-to-table concept is something I truly appreciate, and DIG continues to deliver on that promise with fresh, wholesome ingredients straight from the farm to your plate. The food was as excellent as I remembered, with just a few small differences from my last visit, but nothing that took away from the overall experience. The quality and flavor remain top-notch, giving that comforting feel of eating something natural and health-conscious. If you’re looking for simple, delicious food that makes you feel good about what you’re eating, DIG is still one of the best spots to hit in New York. Whether you’re a fan of their bowls, roasted vegetables, or seasonal dishes, the freshness and quality stand out. It’s always nice to return to a place that maintains its standards, and DIG proves that with every meal.
I love this place. I loved Dig Inn since they first opened some years ago. They have tasty healthy options. My favorite is to get double order of Kale Cashew Cesar Salad with the chicken breast and brown rice but I also sometimes substitute the chicken breast for the charred hot honey chicken or even the tofu when I want to lay off the meat. You can't go wrong. It's all good here. I used to also get the spicy meatballs often which were tasty. I recently had them but they were a little saltier than I remembered but still tasty. Give it a try, you'll be hooked.
Healthy and Delicious! 👌🏻💚 Visited this place for Lunch. They offered bowls with several of healthy ingredients to choose from. I had the Herb Chicken with farro and cucumber salad. I enjoyed it so much. The staff during this shift was very nice. I was debating if having mac and cheese or not and they offered me a taste of it. Prices are affordable. I spent roughly $17 including tip. Will be back soon!
I get bowls here all the time and the quality of the food, speed of service, and options available are very good. The food is simple but very flavorful and their meat, vegetarian, and pescatarian options available. It’s similar to other bowl places, but caters to a grilled food style when it comes to the meats and veggies.
Definitely crowded during lunch time orders but the line moves quickly. Really delicious healthy food. A little expensive to have it for lunch regularly, but large portions easily can last two meals, if you’re strong enough to resist eating it all. The main drawback is there is very little seating.
DIG is always on point 😋 (photo does not do it justice 🤦🏽♂️) … comfort food that satisfies! Ignorance is bliss on how much sodium is in it but all the healthy veggies and tasty dressings make it a justifiable splurge. Feeling healthy? Herb chicken, roasted brocolli and farro are my fav 🥰 Just wish they brought back the prior seating arrangement (with a few two-top tables), instead of a communal table and a bunch of wasted space around it.
Food is definitely good. Generally speaking the price is good for the serving but it really depends on the person doing the bowl. There are times it's reasonable to generous. Then there are times where they underserve to the point the bowl looks like half filed even when I had order double on the protein.
We came to have a dinner, ordered 2 bowls, paid 30 usd. The food was very tasty. However, it could be warmer, also a portion could be a bit larger 😇 Another problem of this place is that they use plastic cutlery and one-time plates, after having a meal a lot of garbage is left :( The place is overall nice, has a few tables for dine-in. The service is fine. I could definitely recommend this place.
I love this place but the larger orders need work. I ordered for 15 people and the app kept deleting names. Then our order arrives and half of it was wrong. Very awkward trying to hand out food when no one’s order is right. Also, no sauces? Everyone was very disappointed although what we had was decently delicious. I love this place to order 1 or 2 meals from, but any more than that they need a better app and a better system in the store for labeling dishes. Especially a bowl-based company. The store did their best to make it right, however the damage was done, and I looked very unprofessional.
We ordered on DD, it was packed very carefully, with the sauces on the side. Salads were extremely fresh and delicious. But the proteins were a big disappointment, they had been cooked long ago. Both salmon and charred chicken were as tough as old shoe leather.
Great for a fast service however the food is bland and the chicken is cooked medium to raw. Don’t get the kale cesar salad. It tasted like lemons and spice which over powers the salad taste.
Delicious food but not many places to sit down to eat at this location. Wish it didn’t cost so much to eat healthy but I think this just how the market is right now.I don’t know how it’s legal to run a food establishment without a bathroom but somehow it is here. How do they expect us to wash our hands before we eat? Thankfully they had hand sanitizer
Food lacks some soul, not bad but unlike the food served in Le Botaniste. My daughter had the hot chicken bowl and enjoyed it, my wife and I had the salmon bowl and found it too bland. 3 stars for our food, 5 stars for my daughter's food, so 4 stars. Service was fast, efficient, spotless. 5 stars. Restaurant area quite simple, and generic (coincidence?). 3 stars. In general, 3 stars. Eat here if you're hungry and need some healthy food. If you can walk a bit search for a Le Botaniste. Similar prices, superior food.
Not a strong Dig Inn location. The pesto tastes different than other locations; flavor less bright and fresh. I wonder if they cut it with an additional cheaper ingredient. Herb chicken is more dry than at other spots. Would not return, though I love Dig Inn in general.
The food was okay. It is like a cafeteria line you go through and pick a base, which is farro, brown rice, or beans. Then you get 2 sides, which could be sweet potatoes, charred broccoli, sweet potato or carrot fries, mac& cheese. Then you can pick a meat - chicken , tofu or meatballs. This bowl is $15 with tax. The servers were very friendly and made suggestions. Portions are small. It is very easy to miss when you are walking with a GPS. They are right next door to Chipotle. That's how we found them. Beware - there is NO RESTROON, not even for paying customers!
Food was tasty. Had a chicken bowl with sweet potato, faro kale salad. The atmosphere is uninspired... No photos... Feels the same... Staff is OK. Fifteen dollars for a bowl of veggies and not much chicken..... It's OK, not great. (But the cashew dressing was on point! Super tangy and tasty....) I went at about 430 on a Saturday....
Food is good but I wouldn't say it's the healthiest. The vegetables are too salty. The portion is also very small for the price I paid for. I got 4 small pieces of roasted herb chicken with my (barely any) farro bowl for $12.80 and a small container of charred chicken for almost $5. Yikes.....They were only generous with the cauliflowers. I did pick up so I don't know about the customer service.
Usually have good food here however this lost recent time the mashed potato’s were crunchy making them inedible and carrots were nearly in whole pieces and still had stems.
I generally like Dig but the 51st and 8th location is a letdown to say the least. walked in around 1pm on a weekday and got served one of the least appetizing bowls I've ever had. couldn't find a single whole noodle in my mac and cheese, just a big glob of overdone mush. the chicken was fine, but everything else was similarly poorly prepped. the middle-aged woman who waited on me spent about 45 seconds staring at her phone before acknowledging my presence (I was the only person in line) and then in the middle of my ordering, pulled out her phone again and spent another 30-45 seconds staring at it. she also had an attitude as if my presence there was inconveniencing her somehow. the cashier was polite and professional, but the first interaction left a bad enough taste in my mouth that it didn't really make up for it. the seating area is also small and not particularly clean, and the restaurant has a NYC sanitary grade of B. I won't be coming back to this location.
Don’t believe to this photo. In reality, this cafe has a totally different atmosphere and furniture- I expected (as on photo) clean and bright cafe, in reality it was not really clean and quite sad place. The food was burnt, so we (me and my wife) couldn’t eat it at all- I through it in the trash bin. And the food itself was like a mix of different food and it was like a mess. Made a photo of the food. But, the personnel was nice and kind. But the food was awful.
Disgusting. I ordered the kale chicken Caesar. Chicken tasted like rubber. The dressing bared no resemblance to Caesar, the veggies were completely unseasoned and raw. Took a few bites and trashed
I’ve never been treated so rudely. As it’s snowing and freezing cold outside, we’d waited inside the restaurant for our Uber to arrive. However, the waitress was smashing metal trash cans on the tile floor literally right next to us, beyond aggressively so that we would leave. I told her, “okay, we get the hint”. Wow. What a costly mistake that was! I’ll never go back.
Food is ok, like any other bowl place in the city. I got double chicken and the cashier charged me $6 extra, when on their menu it says “Make it double” for $3.25. When I tried to correct him he initially ignored me and when I told him that I was charged less when ordering the same thing before, he said they were charging me wrong. He got impatient and told his manager to talk to me, who then corrected him and told him that it was actually $3.25 and not $6. The cashier didn’t apologize and the manager told me that “I’m good”. Not an enjoyable experience and don’t think any customer should be treated this way.
