The food is good. Service was a bit slow when we went. Our server explained that they didn't have a cook and the manager himself was back there making food - what fantastic work ethic! Seems like everyone pitched in to help. So although we were there for a while, we understood and appreciated the explanation.

We walked in and were warmly greeted and promptly seated. The waitress was friendly and professional. We had breakfast. Everything was great. The portions were a good size. Not too small, but not big enough to take home a doggie bag. The prices are reasonable. I would go back again.

I really enjoyed the food, and friendly service. The waitress was attentive and pleasant. I had charred brisket over a bed of Mac and cheese, with 3 beer battered onion rings on top... It was phenomenal. Only things I'd recommend changing: the portion of side mixed vegetables was tiny, and the a/c was cranked.

My family and I have been coming to this dennys for over 10 years every single week. The food is delicious and they have the best prices around but the real reason we love it here is every person who works here. They truly are like friends and family to us. They let us sit at our special booth, accommodate the menu to our specific wants, attend to us with smiles and conversation and we love coming in to see our favorite people. They also took amazing care of our beloved Papa who passed away after enjoying lunch at dennys pretty much every day for over a decade. He took his granddaughter here after school and she got her license and took him every day when he couldn’t drive anymore. We will never forget how much love they showed him until the very end. We love you dennys staff especially Sebastian, Rose, Anna, Betsy, Yovi, Zoe, Carol, and the cooks who we never see but who know us too! Thank you.

I don't frequent Dennys but I've been a few times. This was definitely one of the better experiences. Order was correct, server was attentive. It wasn't packed, we came for breakfast as we were staying down the road. Food arrived quickly and tasted good. No complaints.

I don’t know who would leave a bad review for Wanda! We’ve been coming in for 2 years since we moved up from Brooklyn and Wanda has always greeted us with a smile an and “hey, my babies!” (I’m 52 so I get a joyful uplift as soon as I walk in!) Money is tight, but we always tip $10 on our meager budget (our bill was $28). Good service, hot tasty food, and we leave with a full heart. Calm down cowboys…and posting a picture of her working is disgraceful.

Denny's Newburgh is a blast from the past. Service is fast, and always friendly, food comes out so quickly (my order came out in under 6 minutes), and the taste brings me back to the 80's/90's...don't change a thing Denny's!

Stopped by Denny’s in Newburgh, NY and had a solid, satisfying experience. The food was classic Denny’s comfort fare—hot, filling, and exactly what you expect when you’re craving breakfast or diner-style meals at any hour. The Dennys near my house closed and was torn down years ago. I hated seeing commercials for breakfast till we discovered this on quite a distance from me. I'm so glad we went! I had the salted carmel, banana, vanilla cream pancakes!!! Yes! So worth the drive!!! And the 15% AARP discount was a nice surprise too!

I was very spectacle about this Denny's when I arrived around 5pm in the afternoon and the only had about 3-5 customers. The parking lot was deserted. I was about to leave but I was hungry. So I gave it a shot. Surprisingly the food was delicious and it came out very fast. That one thing I dislike about these places is that waiting for the food over half hour. Anyway don't be surprised if it's empty food and service was great.

Great food but be prepared to wait on busy days(especially Sunday after Church service). But they try to get you seated as soon as they can. We get coupons on back of receipts from ShopRite. Last time we were seated but it took a while before the girl got to us. It was very busy but understaffed that day. But when the girl did get to us she was very kind and polite and we got our food quickly.

We hit this place every year for the last 20 years with my whole family. About 20 of us and every time we come we never have a problem. Service is always good. Place and bathrooms were very clean. I always order the breakfast slam and it is always good. Everyone else always enjoy their meals as well. Would definitely recommend and will be returning next season

The food and the waiters are great but a couple of the people at the check out/in could be a bit friendlier. Everytime we go with a group they are upset, not sure why since this means business. If they're overwhelmed I'd suggest better communication with the customers and more help running the show but never be rude to your customers.

Stopped in for a late dinner around midnight. Took 10 minutes before I was acknowledged because they are so short staffed and there was plenty of disrespectful people coming and going at the restaurant but everything improved from there. How this place has 4 stars is beyond me. My friends and I came here after a night out since it's opened 24 hours. We all ordered different items but the food made us all sick. If you value your digestive system do NOT eat here! The only reason why I'm giving this place 2 stars is because our server, Wanda, was so amazing. She was so kind, professional and timely despite the huge wave of customers.

This location has a fairly run-down feel to it. Food came out very quickly; eggs, bacon and sausage were fine, but the pancakes had an extreme amount of vanilla in them, I greatly disliked them. The waitress was quite flat emotionally, made no attempt to engage me. And had zero reaction to a 110% tip ($10). I'll never go back there.

Our server Yovana was horribly rude. She came to the table, didn’t introduce herself, we gave our drink order as that was the way she came to the table “drinks? Okay go ahead”, and she walked off, turned around to tell her we were ready to place our food order and she ignored us because she had airpods in. We had no idea we were supposed to pay at the front so waited atleast 15min and went to the front, thats when she came out and took the bill. We informed her she over charged us for an item we never received/ ordered, she took it off the bill, we asked if we can split the payment with card & cash she told us no. Never been to any establishment where splitting payment is unacceptable, anyways after she took our payment she immediately called next to take the persons behind us, all in all this experience was horrible!

It seems that everytime , I go there is no service after 11:30 pm . Employee is always stressed turning people away because she is alone with one cook . This location advertises its 24 hours. Had to go to Middletown, which that location has only one person working with one cook but she was still Able to seat customers and be in a good mood . She just explained to us that she will jumping all around due to her being the only one. Please hire more people for this location at night , or have someone who can be able to handle the stress. The second time that we decided to give it another chance, we ordered pancakes 🥞, there was an empty restaurant that day. Food came in on time, I would say. However, the pancakes tasted like steak! Come one! I felt like eating a piece of steak! I left them, I could not eat them. If this happened with an empty restaurant, I wonder how the food is prepared when they are in a rush! I have never had a worse experience at a restaurant ever. I’ve eaten at this establishment many times in the past and it’s gone down hill. From the moment we were seated, the service was discourteous and unwelcoming. Our server did not introduce herself or offer a greeting. Instead, she began the interaction with a curt, “What do you want to drink?” This set the tone for the rest of the visit, which only worsened as our meal progressed. The food we received was far from the quality we expected. My bacon was burnt, the eggs were bland, and the waffles tasted like generic store-bought Belgian waffles. My boyfriend ordered pancakes that tasted as if they were made the day before. To make matters worse, our plates appeared dirty and worn, and the table had not been properly cleaned before we were seated. What was especially disappointing was that after our meals were served, the server never returned to check on us or ensure that everything was satisfactory. This experience was frustrating and disheartening. The lack of professionalism, cleanliness, and care made it clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to this location.

How pathetic of a cook do you have working there? Ordered from Uber eats, and live 10 minutes away. When I got the food the bourbon bacon burger was as hard as a hockey puck, cold , and the cheese see-through, meaning it sat under the heat lamp for an extended period of time, and my order of onion rings must have been an order for an infant, because i recieved 4 onion rings. This place is not the same it really sucks now. I'm currently here right now at 1:17 a.m. I am buying some food the option for tipping comes up on the screen and I say I'm going to pay in cash and she tells me she doesn't care I'm like okay then she says I normally don't tip her anyways which is B's so now instead of tipping her I'm going to leave her a bad review every time I come here and it's her she has a nasty attitude she's definitely not people friendly that's for sure
