Absolutely delicious! A must tr! We accidentally stumbled upon this place because another Japanese restaurant was closed for the holiday. The food is incredible! I didn't have any sushi, but my partner said it was phenomenal. The gyoza (can get either pork or vegetable), was delicious and served fresh/hot. The ramen was very flavorful and wasn't stuffed with too many sides like some places tend to do. The pork was also slightly fry to add a nice flavor and crunch to it. Egg was cooked perfectly as well. The place is a bit small, so be prepared to wait, but the staff is extremely courteous and very attentive. This is a must go to Japanese spot!
Absolutely a step above. There's fun Sushi, cheap Sushi, and experimental Sushi, but Juduko is AWESOME Sushi. The freshest Sushi I've had in a while, Brilliantly Prepared by a real Tokyo Sushi Expert, and beautifully prepared, in a cozy, warm atmosphere. I cannot recommend this place highly enough for great, fresh sushi. Seen in Photos: Their sushi Sashimi combo plate, and delicious miso soup.
I stopped by for a late lunch, and I was not disappointed. Fresh ingredients were the star of the day!
Really good food, great service! Highly recommend!

Judoku is super hype. We went on a Saturday night and it was packed, but it was so worth it. They have an incredible selection of rolls that were all out of this world. If you're into Chicken Karaage, that was also delicious and juicy. We didn't sit outside, but they have a nice outdoor area as well! Highly recommend!
We used to go to the Judoku over on Piedmont Ave and we were so happy to dine with them again last night in Rockridge. It’s such a cute family owned restaurant and I swear it’s the best sushi in Oakland. The service is always wonderful and the food is fresh and delicious. You truly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu- I think we’ve tried one of everything at this point. We’ll definitely be dining in again soon!
Good sashimi. I was particularly impressed with the halibut, which is usually not as good at other establishments. The tuna and salmon was also good. And I tried the jalapeño poppers on the servers recommendation… surprisingly almost my favorite thing I ate all night.
Given so many Japanese restaurants in the Bay Area, this one is our new favorite. We had the Ahi poke, octopus balls and stuffed mushrooms. Portion is perfect for those who care about quality, not quantity. Service and prices are up there with their excellent dishes;)

Really great service and the sushi was super good especially considering the price. Will definitely make this a staple spot.

We came here for lunch. We got chicken karaage, combination tempura and zombie sushi roll for two people. The karaage is heavily covered in frying dough, which is not exactly the style that I like, but still pretty good. The tempura is a bit oily but still good. Zombie sushi is good!
The menu has a great variety! We had ramen, udon and rolls and everything was delicious! Shoutout to the waitresses who were super friendly and efficient!
Sushi was decent but the karaage had some weird soft batter.
Judoku Sushi has recently moved to a few blocks up with outdoor seatings. It was my first time dining there. Ika Maruyaki(grilled squid) and Kakiage Tempura were good for sharing appetizers. Tonkatsu was crispy, not greasy. Lion King baked roll with real crab meat was also very good. I ordered a side salad but it wasn't necessary because most of their menu items come with a little cabbage salad on the plate. Korean style Chirashi was tasty but a bit overpriced. Servers were pleasant. ( Photo shown is Lunch Tempura Udon)
The quality of the fish was amazing and the service was excellent. Will certainly be going back.

Fresh fish and fast service! The new College location is so much better than the dark dining room they once occupied just a couple doors up the street. On busy weekend nights the takeout service can be slow so plan ahead if you want to eat at a certain time.

Really want to leave a better review, they have solid tasting rolls but the construction was just awful the last time I was there. I couldn’t even eat with chopsticks because the rolls just fell apart.
Another reviewer put it best, "premium prices for non-premium food". That is definitely accurate. Rolls were alright but nothing special and super expensive. Chicken and salmon teriyaki were dry. Outdoor heaters were there but out of order. Top that off with service that was somewhat awkward and you end up with a place I probably won't be returning to anytime soon :)

Not great. Small-ish rolls. Ponzu sauce was bad, tastes like soy, vinegar and that bottled fake lemon juice vs a light and tasty ponzu, not a good sign. This place seems to be here to earn vs serve delicious food. They cut corners and don’t go to much effort. Eel was a good quantity but came straight from the cold fridge. Unagi is right when it’s a bit warm, at least room temp. You know that nice smell sushi has? Opening this takeout container I had to sniff twice as it smelled a bit not good. Only tasted a little less than fair. The decent ratings it has? Well, most people just eat mediocre sushi and think it’s good, but if you know food or know sushi, pass on this one. It’s just cashing in on its location I’d say.
Good food but very slow service. Timing of dishes was also poor, one member of the party didn’t get his meal until the rest of the table was already done with their food.
Premium prices for non-premium food. Our party ordered a variety of rolls, a bento box, tempura, and ramen. We anticipated that the food would be great based off of the atmosphere and the prices, but we were surprised to find that the food was decent and undeserving of the premium prices. Their drinking water also tasted strangely off, as did the soup of the ramen and the miso soup.

Very disappointing. Judoku took forever to prepare our delivery order. UberEats estimated delivery around 7:30 pm. Our order was not ready for pickup until after 8:30 pm. They should have paused orders. If it’s a weekend, order sushi from somewhere else.
