Felipe was a wonderful host and waiter to our family. The food was incredible, especially the mole trilogy and freshly-made corn tortillas. The chile relleno was also a favorite along with the beautiful drinks. We loved the ambiance and fresh breeze under the canopies.

Wonderful restaurant in the outskirts of San Martin Tilcajete where we came to see how ALEBRIJES are made. Magical! The food was awesome, ambience delightful and Gabriel provided impeccable service!

A must while touring the alebrijes region! We had a great experience overall. Very pleasant ambience, food flavors and presentation were 10/10. The design of the place is great, modern and clean while incorporating Mexican traditional elements and plants. Nice wall murals and tile, clean lines wooden furniture and a beautiful traditional comal with friendly staff all in one place. Top it with one sleek store full of alebrijes, the best ceramics and books, straw bags, jewelry and other nice items. Definitely worth a visit. Francisco was our server and was very attentive. We brought our kids and the restaurant provides paper place mats for them to color with Alebrije drawings and they were entertained for a great while. Guacamole was delicious, tasada tacos and a combination plate were as well. Aguas frescas and dessert were also approved. All in all, this was one of the highlights of our day. Definitely recommend!

Francisco was both friendly and efficient. The setting of the restaurant is magical, beautiful plants all around, an oasis. I enjoyed seeing the open kitchen. The bathrooms were stunning, beautiful design. And my food- chiles nen nogales- was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten, and beautifully presented.

The dining experience was quite enjoyable. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The ambiance of the place was really nice, and I particularly liked the variety of shops nearby. We tried the cucumber margaritas, but the flavor of the cucumber seemed to overshadow the mezcal. As for the food, the enchiladas mole were absolutely fantastic. The mole sauce was truly amazing. I opted for the chilaquiles with tasajo, which was good, but not spectacular. The other person in our group ordered the tacos and seemed to relish every bite.

Best moles we've had in Oaxaca so far. The mole estofado was delicious, I'd never heard of it before. The mole coloradito was also delicious.

The meat tasted a little rotten but the veggies and mole were nice. Service was a little slow and the servers were kinda grumpy. Nice open-air kitchen and dining area and it’s nice to watch the cooks make the food.
