Been coming the past 5 weekends due to daughter’s volleyball and glad to be enjoying good meals and friendly service. Burgers, hot dogs, kids meals, steak salad, Chinese chicken salad, free freshly cut pickles, dipping sauces and awesome fresh fried chips!

The real reason for this review is because the service was outstanding from start to finish. The menu has a lot on it and from the minute we stepped up to the registers the workers were so patient and welcoming. The person running food and cleaning the dining room checked in multiple times to see if we needed anything. The dining room was pretty busy and it’s good for a quick sit down. Multiple options on the menu for things like sandwiches and salads. Forgot to take pictures of all the food until it was too late!! We had multiple things off the menu. Highlights from the group were the buffalo chicken sandwich, tuna salad sandwich, and onion rings.

My husband and I are regulars at The Stand in Pasadena, and it’s always a great experience every time we go. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the food never disappoints. On our most recent visit, we decided to try something new and ordered the Southwest Chicken Sandwich—and wow, we were impressed! It was packed with flavor and instantly became a new favorite. We also enjoyed our usual go-to sides: the onion rings (crispy and delicious) and the blueberry lemonade, which is the perfect mix of tart and sweet. While it was our first time straying from our regulars, it's always tough to pass up the Havarti Burger (my personal favorite) and the BBQ Brisket Sandwich (my husband's go-to). Everything on the menu feels like a win, and we always leave satisfied. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for consistently good food with fresh flavors and a laid-back vibe.

The ABC Burger was hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, packed with bold, delicious flavors! My hubby got the Ultimate Egg burger, and that one was just as amazing. As for the milkshake, we tried the cookie butter and yes, it was on the sweeter side (as expected), but so good. Definitely a must try spot if you’re craving a satisfying, flavor loaded meal!

Amazing food! 🤩 First time here and I had the steak chimichurri salad, buffalo chicken sandwich, and red ginger green beans with fountain drinks. Hands down one of my favorite spots for burgers, fries, onions rings, and shakes! There’s something for everybody. The French Onion Burger is delicious. The onion rings are crisp. The fries are really potatoes. And the fresh baked brownies are always a togo for my group.

Great location, awesome menu and tons of add-on options! From burgers to sides (love the sweet potato fries) to salads to desserts and drinks, deliciousness all around! I love my burger rare without bun, extra patty, on some greens, with cheese and an egg on top. They hit it out of the park! Yum!

Solid tasty all American burger place. The menu has an extensive option of burgers with vegetarian and seafood options. The ahi tuna burger hits the spot! Love their quinoa salad! You can also sub veggie patty in the other burger specialties which is a nice option. Lots of fresh salad and veggie on the menu as well. Staff is friendly!! The Stand also validates parking which is a plus.

Stopped in for a bite before watching a show at the playhouse across the street. It's a great location. The turkey sandwich was surprisingly good. The southwest chicken burger was also quite delicious. They use good ingredients, and you can taste it. The regular fries and sweet potato fries were okay, nothing special. The service was great. Someone came around and offered everyone free samples of their ice creams. The line never got too long, the place was busy, but not crowded. Overall it has a good atmosphere. It's a bit pricey for what you get, but that seems to be true for most places today. We would definitely come back for another quick bite.

Service is great, food is tasty. Love the southwest chicken wrap. And the salad portions are HUGE (I would ask for dressing on the side - it was slightly overdressed). There was an issue with my online order and everyone was so kind and they remade the whole thing and gave me a sweet little treat for the trouble. Thanks again!

I’ve been to other “The Stand” restaurants and love their food. I was nearby and decided to stop by this one. Same excellent quality as the others. I ordered the Chinese chicken salad and it was delicious. The chicken pieces were tender and juicy, the salad was fresh, the sauce was delicious and overall the salad was great. I’d definitely come back again and try their other menu items.

We’ve walked past The Stand several times and were excited to finally try it. We stopped in for lunch on Saturday and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. That part was great! Unfortunately, the burger didn’t quite meet our expectations. The brioche bun was hard, and the burger itself was very dry with little to no dressing inside. It made the overall experience a bit disappointing. Maybe it was just an off day or the bread was old, but sadly, it wasn’t what we hoped for. Not sure if we’ll return.

I wish my wife and I had know about this place sooner. The short rib grilled cheese was very good, if a bit rich. The ahi tuna sandwich was excellent. The onion rings might have been the best we've ever had. The service was friendly and helpful, a definite plus. We're already thinking of when we can return.

Right in the heart of Pasadena. Service was good, casual vibes and good food. I got a burger and fries. The burger was really good, brioche bun super soft and yummy. Was kinda disappointed in the fries, they were cold and just ok. I just wasn't digging them. Loved the multiple choices of sauces to choose from and the side of pickles. Would definitely stop here again for a burger.

Good stop for lunch. Fast and servings were perfect. I did order the kids meal and that was more than enough! Good patio seating.

Be aware that the staff member will ask you to BACK UP if you try to pickup your order. I’ve been a regular customer at this store and usually have had decent experiences, which is why what happened today at noon was especially disappointing. I placed an online order and arrived about 20 minutes later. When I got to the pickup counter, I could clearly see my order sitting there. There was no sign or clear instruction explaining how customers would be notified when their order was ready, so I simply asked the staff member behind the counter if it was mine. However, a female staff member standing outside the counter area told me, “He will call your name, you can BACK UP!” The tone and wording felt unnecessarily dismissive. I was not crowding the counter or being impatient , I was just trying to confirm whether the order in front of me was mine, especially since there was no posted guidance about the pickup process. To be fair, the person behind the counter heard what she said and apologized to me, which I appreciated. But the whole experience is SHOCKING!!!
