The service is excellent, both online and in-store. Staff are friendly, service is cheerful and prompt, the facility is clean and well-maintained. Basically, it's a Popeyes. I prefer to order and pick up in person at the counter rather than using the drive-through; seldom a line indoors.
Part of the drive thru menu board was unreadable. I don't eat here enough to know the regular menu. Staff had me pull up to the window and help me order. Definitely appreciate the kindness shown, effort made, and the fast, accurate delicious meal.
I visited Popeyes a while ago, and overall it was a good experience. The chicken was flavorful and crispy, and the sides were tasty, especially the chicken and biscuits. The staff was friendly and the service was fairly quick. My only minor issues were that the restaurant had barly anyone , and my drink refill took a little fast than expected. Still, I’d definitely come back for a satisfying meal. I just forgot to add the review when i went here
Workers are super nice and friendly. The place is going through renovations so its a bit dusty but not too much. I do have to say that Popeyes isn't like it used to be. It used to be delicious. Now it just tastes blah. No spicy cajun seasoning like before, even the fries used to taste better. That being said, service there was really good, it just needs a little elbow grease at the tables. Workers were nice and courteous and made sure that you had all your items.
Great food, the cashier was nice but there was another rude lady whom i just asked plates and they responded with “How many more do you need, i already put some in the bag” in a rude tone. there was no reason to give attitude, check your employees
I placed an online order for the free 6-piece and added a biscuit, which I paid for ahead of time. When I went through the drive-thru to pick up my order, I realized the biscuit was missing from the bag. I got back in line to let them know, and when I told the woman at the window, she insisted I didn’t order a biscuit. I showed her my phone and pointed out on the receipt exactly where it says I paid for it. After going back and forth, she finally gave me the biscuit—but with a bad attitude. She didn’t put it in a bag or a box just handed it to me wrapped in Popeyes paper. On top of that, there was a hair on it. At that point, I didn’t even bother going back again. I just won’t be returning to this location. The man who gave me my food the first time was really polite and had great customer service. But the woman I dealt with afterward had a “nice nasty” attitude, and that completely ruined the experience
This is my experience on 7/28/2022. Half cooked chicken breast, small chicken legs the size of wingers. What happened?? It’s almost like they are purposely trying to bankrupt this location. Very very unacceptable. If I get sick I definitely going see my lawyer.
Just left the drive thru 3/8/2026 around 130 pm. From the beginning the guy at the drive thru had an attitude when he took our order and had an even bigger attitude when he brought the food out and basically shoved it in the window. When we got home we noticed we were missing the biscuits. We've called 3 times but have gotten no answer.
Yesterday evening at 9pm me and my daughter stopped into this Popeyes on Broadway in Pearland TX. After a long day of Christmas shopping. And we were extremely disappointed and upset with this locations service. Several things took place that were extremely disappointing about: 1. We stopped in to this Popeyes to take advantage of T-mobile Tuesday special and that was to purchase 3 tenders for $1.00. But we were immediately told that their system was unable process those type of specials for some reason on this day. He didn't know what the problem was, its been happening all day. OK no problem we pivoted and instead of leaving we decided to stay and order anyway. We ordered a number 1 white spicey with fries and a drink, w/ an additional spicey breast, 2 jalapeño peppers along with a strwaberry pie. All To go. While we were waiting I asked for a cup of water while we waited. AND THIS WAS THE PART THAT ANGERED ME! 2. The young man told me he was unable to give me a cup for water even after my purchase. But i could buy a cup for 3.04 if I wanted too. he said this in a very low voice. BUT IMMEDIATELY at the same time the manager came from the back motioned for a girl who was sitting in the far side of lobby by the window. Opened the side door that gives access from behind the counter to the lobby and handed her a drink cup, rite before my eyes. Me and the young man who told me I couldn't have an ice cup unless I purchased and additional cup for $3.04. Looked at each other at the same time as this transpired and I said so that lady just gave away a whole drink cup. His response was "WELL THAT'S THE MANAGER AND THAT'S HER DAUGHTER and she can do that". WITHOUT showing my anger I politely said this is no way to treat paying customers. AND I will never come back to this location ever and I am writing a review to let other know what's going on at this location. LASTLY WHEN WE GOT HOME, AND OPENED OUR ORDER THEY GAVE US REGULAR CHICKEN, NOT SPICEY CHICKEN LIKE WE ORDERED! YOU KNOW I WAS REALLY MAD. nothing worse than going through what we went through and then not get what we paid for. (I do want to add the young man was not rude or condescending at all, clearly it is store management telling them and doing these things, because he seemed extremely uncomfortable during the whole situation) I've been going to Popeyes for over 30 years my favorite popeyes, is in New Orleans on canal street. And I know this isn't typical practice. But I can tell you I'm never going back to this particular location every again and it's 4 mins from my home. NEVER AGAIN!
I frequent this Popeyes a few times a week, and the service is usually satisfactory. However, today was a disappointing experience. Rita took my order through the drive-thru, and when I arrived to pay, the entire staff was gathered in a circle, engaged in conversation. No one greeted me, and the cashier simply took my card, processed it, and handed me my order a few minutes later. I was eager to eat lunch, as I was starving, but upon returning home, I discovered that I had received the wrong order. I had ordered a 5-piece tenders with mashed potatoes, but instead, I received a 2-piece leg with fries. I attempted to contact the location to rectify the mistake, but no one answered my calls. I tried calling again five minutes later, but the line remained busy. Given the inconvenience and the fact that the food I received today will go to waste, I kindly request a refund or a credit toward my next meal. I expect better service from Popeyes.
Everything was fine before hand until Michael did not want to hand out a receipt because it had a survey code offer. It was escalated to the lady manager and she confirmed it was okay to give the receipt, if it's a new receipt. It just rubbed me the wrong way because he had so much energy regarding a receipt but had a huge spill/leak underneath the front counter beverage station for all the guests to see. Mind you, he has a different shirt on. I hope he isn’t a manager of some sort. I worked at Chick-fil-A for several years and know what customer service is truly about.
We ordered Popeye’s thru DoorDash last night. I used to really enjoy their ghost pepper wings, however they are not the same as they used to be. Now, they are just the regular wings, with a ton of some mysterious, gross orange powder all over them. Idk what it is, but it reminds me of that powder that movie theaters have for the popcorn. Popeye’s G.P. wings suck now. I would’ve included a photo of them, but they are already in the trash, along with 2 of the sandwiches, at the curb. Not only that, but all 3 of our Spicy Chicken sandwiches had pickles on them. We specified NO PICKLES. Even when you take the pickles off, you can still taste the pickle juice. So, yeah…no good. This is why I hate ordering food delivery..especially third-party food delivery. You get the food, it’s all wrong, and there’s nothing you can do about it unless you drive to the restaurant. Kind of defeats the purpose of delivery, ya know? Do better Popeye’s. You seem to have fixed your staff…that’s good, now fix your wings and attention to detail.
I have been calling this popeyes for the past 30 mins and NO ONE is answering the phone!! We just left, got home and realized they gave us 4 legs and 4 thighs on an 8 pc dinner. It was supposed to be 2pcs of each. Now I have tried to call back idk how many times and they either have the ringer off or are just letting the phone ring. This is horrible service all around. While the cashier was great, the person who made our food did this and they are responsible for ruining our meal. I do not live near there so driving back is not an option. Someone should contact me ASAP as this is absolutely unacceptable!
i went today to order food didnt get my drink on top of that order was wrong ! I went back and maria had a nasty attitude if she doesnt want to work there she shouldnt nobody is forcing her to work at popeyes treating me as a customer really bad it aint my fault u have to cook chicken and fries everyday as a living i guess she thought i didnt know spanish talking bad about me to her employees dont know how shes still working there worst experience and location seriously!!
I visited the Popeyes at Pearland Town Center on today, and it was one of the worst fast food experiences I’ve ever had. The food I received was cold, and when I politely brought it to the staff’s attention, the manager was incredibly rude and dismissive. Instead of addressing the issue, they acted like I was inconveniencing them for expecting fresh food. There was no apology, no attempt to fix the problem, just attitude. I’ve always liked Popeyes, but this experience left a bad taste in more ways than one. Management at this location seriously needs customer service training. This bad experience definitely deserves attention. I hope corporate takes complaints like this seriously — customers deserve better!
This is the 3rd time it has happened. I order a certain amount of chicken and they gave me less that what I have ordered. I don’t want to sound nasty but it is just basic counting!!! Today, I ordered 16 pieces of chickens and they gave me 14. Before, I ordered 24 wings and they gave me 20. I will not buy from this branch anymore!! I RECOMMEND TO ALL OF YOU TO AVOID THIS BRANCH. There is another one on Shadow Creek.
Rude employees, my order was wrong and the employee said they couldn’t fix it. Dismissive and a bad attitude. Lady behind me was disgusted by his behavior and said she would not be customer if that’s how they treat people and left. I placed another order and it was still wrong! I hope they shut this location down or fire everyone and start fresh.
I just went through the drive through and ordered an 8 piece (only) chicken. It was $25 dollars with tax. I asked for all dark, it even says it on the ticket but I still got the regular 8 piece. I open the box when I got home (5-7 min later) and it’s ice cold and hard as a rock!! Not only is my order wrong, the chicken tastes like it was cooked yesterday! I tried calling them and no one would answer. My family won’t eat the chicken cause it’s terrible. Every time I’ve been to this location there is always an issue. I won’t be going there again. I don’t want to waste another dime on cold food.
This has to be the worst Popeyes in both North and South America. The chicken is absolutely horrible! I always try to give places a chance before I write a review. I even try to spread it out after a bad experience and go once every sixth months. In this case, I extended my welcome, hoping for new management. I’ve been here about 5 times and they always disappoint. I KNOW the staff wouldn’t serve themselves this nasty chicken. Imagine spending $40 on chicken where ALL 12 pieces are dry, the legs look like drumettes, and it taste like they cook the chicken with foot grease. I am completely done with this place, unless they reimburse me for destroying my tastebuds.
