Im a truck driver so I travel a lot and my favorite place to stop by in every city is pollo tropical, out of every pollo tropical i have been to this one definitely takes the cake. The customer service is great, the place is clean and the food is delicious. I 100% recommend stopping by.

I go to this pollo EVERY SINGLE DAY.. my daughter is a very picky eater she doesn’t eat the beans only the juice which is freshly made…. The Managers Francis, Sherry and her staff Ashley, crismellie(sorry if I miss spelled any names or didn’t mention) are AMAZING and professional they go out their way to make sure the order is right every time…I wish all pollo’s was like this location. =)

This location in Pembroke Pines mall is always hopping, the staff is friendly and not afraid to make eye contact. I love coming to this Pollo Tropical when I get off from work. Especially when Fabiola is there. She's so welcoming and attentive to my orders. Even remembering me when I show up. I had a fantastic first experience at Pollo tropical thanks to one exceptional worker/manager, named Travis. From the moment I walked in, he greeted the customers with a friendly attitude and made sure everyone felt welcomed. You could immediately tell he cared about both team members and customers. He handled the busy rush with impressive professionalism, he kept the line moving, checking on orders and making sure everything was accurate and fresh. What stood out the most was how he supported his staff while still giving great attention to customers. The restaurant was clean, organized, running smoothly under the leadership of Travis. It’s rare to see someone balance great customer service with strong management skills, but he did it effortlessly. I had a great experience interacting with the staff everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Special thanks to Fabulous Fabiola, who handled my food with care and brought such positive energy. Her charisma clearly lifted the whole team, and it’s easy to see why people enjoy working with her. Because of Fabiola, I’ll definitely be back. The only small hiccup was that a few tables were messy, likely just left that way by previous guests. It made it a bit tricky to find a clean spot for me and my niece, but everything else was spot-on.

We wanted a quick bite and decided to try Pollo Tropical in Pembroke Pines, Florida. We sat inside, and no one else there. The interior was clean. Unfortunately, their soda machines were out of root beer, lemonade, and ginger ale. I ordered the grilled chicken avocado bowl and a half chicken with rice and beans, accompanied by a large Coke, which cost $3.59—quite pricey for a soft drink. The grilled chicken was moist, and the black beans were perfectly seasoned, making for a delicious and satisfying meal. The bathrooms were also clean, adding to the overall positive experience.

First time trying this...I didn't care for the wrap that I had but the other food looked more tempting and I will try something else next time.

Food is good but they get my order wrong pretty often

Pollo is the spot for a chicken, rice, and beans meal. The cilantro garlic sauce is the highlight of every meal. Fried yuca is to die for. The service isn't always the best but the food is usually on point.

It was later at night. We waited a little long for our food. They made us pull up around the front to wait. It was good though. I don’t think this location has ever really failed me.

Bringing back the grilled chicken sandwich has once again made Pollo Tropical a favorite place to eat. Plus the fact that Jessica who works the drive thru has excellent customer service. Which has place Pollo Tropical as one of my good to spots when I don’t know what I want to eat.

Honestly, I think this place is great. I have ordered from here many times and have had nothing but good experiences. One time they forgot my rolls on the family meal duo, but no one is perfect. I will say they have been nothing but friendly and accommodating, whether I am in the drive-thru or order in. Highly recommend this place.

Got the order wrong - didn’t add double meat. Also didn’t have frozen drinks. Price reflected on sign for double meat was $2 less than what I had to pay after going back to correct the order. Food is pretty good though.

Is the third and LAST time that happens at this location, I ordered a Tropichop Bowl ALL THE WAY, that as advertised, includes onions, tomatoes, corn, peppers... The cashier even asked me, and I confirmed. Is in the receipt!. When I got home, it wasn't "all the way". I know at this location I should've check but tried to trust. I went back, HAD TO DRIVE A LOT, they add the veggies, but wasn't offered anything to compensate. Some customer service training would be great for the staff.

When you ask for 1/2 chicken with rice and beans, but they omit the beans. I feel blessed I received the 1/2 chicken and rice. Do yourself a favor to avoid any potential heartbreak, check your order before driving away.

The Cuban pork sandwich is good. I didn't get my fries with my combo so I went back in line to order a different side. I hate it when I don't get my complete order. Rather than argue or ask them to do their job I just ordered another item since they didn't feel like giving me fries.

I just looked at other reviews and I cannot believe that this location right outside the mall has been allowed to get away with being so sub-par for this long. I hadn't eaten at Pollo Tropical for years before visiting last week and again today. Both times, it was not a good experience. I ordered in the drive-thru then had to go inside because both times there was something wrong with my food. I wish I didn't go inside to see how dirty and disorganized it was. The sauce containers are gross and you just have to wonder about their hygiene/sanitation practices in preparing the food. Just hoping I don't get a stomach ache from eating there. Never ever going back. Also, I've seen management responses to previous reviews written months and months ago regarding these same issues, claiming that they would strive to do better. UNBELIEVABLE. If they ever got a visit from the health dept I'm sure they would have multiple violations. Pollo is a large chain that can afford better training for staff, cleaner restaurants and better service. Just shameful

Just ordered a bowl of chicken soup with no chicken. Wow !

I went in just to grab one meal, a churrasco tropichop not a huge order. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a good atmosphere in the kitchen everyone was smiling and laughing as they were communicating with one another. The manager I didn’t quite catch her name but she was great answering my questions with patience . As a customer something that caught my attention is that she told a trainee to wait on her to show her how to do something because she doesn’t like to just tell them put this here etc. the reason why I left 2 stars was because the steak was way over cooked it was crunchy and burnt. which lead to discarding the whole meal. Unfortunately it was a to go over and I didn’t check it till I got home to eat.

All the Hispanics were missing, not that I am racist but the staff was unprofessional. Yelling over the food. Attitude sucks and the food wasn't the same as it used to be, it was awful and I guess they were rationing the portions. 2 customers was complaining as well. I usefully donon Fridays after work. I went today it was empty but there was still chaos because they got one of the customer order wrong He was not happy I ordered 2 trophytrops and they were awful the it consisted of brown rice which wasn't cooked properly not to mention it looked like they were putting white rice and realized it was the wrong rice so the scooped it out added the brown rice still showing some of the white rice in the container l, the vegetables was only a small amount of sweet corn some onions and red peppers. The meat was dry and stringy. The soup which was supposed to get chicken soup. Didn't taste like chicken soup. The last one was better. Needless to say I will not be going back there. This is the 3rd bad experience I've had since last month

Very hectic atmosphere they are always yelling at each other in order to communicate very chaotic when I got down to place my order because the line to go order was very very long. I just feel that they can do so much better than being clean in the inside as well as more efficient if they had better communication skillsall employees seemed a little bit on edge. They had a new girl in the window and it was taking so long I had to get down to actually place an order with an additional 20 minutes. It was a hot mess.

Quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had at a Pollo Tropical. Upper management needs to replace everyone that worked the night shift on 12/23/2022. I had to wait 30 minutes for my food (after waiting 15 minutes to order) and it wasn't longer because I told one of the employees I was waiting for my meal. Otherwise they would have never prepared my food. The lady that ordered after me got so upset at the long wait that she demanded a refund and left furiously without her food. Everyone waiting was very angry and I wouldn't be surprised if I'm not the only person writing a negative review about this evening's experience. One of the employees was literally standing in place staring at nothing for over 10 minutes. She should probably be given a blood test or psychological evaluation. Aside from the ridiculously poor service, the dining lobby was a mess also. Food on the floor, dirty tables, and all the trash receptacles were so full they were overflowing. As I was leaving I noticed the drive thru line was long and saw two cars trying to squeeze out of the line because they had been waiting for so long. The only thing I'm grateful for is that this location isn't the closest one to my home.

I was just at this location's drive thru today for 45 minutes before my order was taken.Only 1 person attending ,taking orders, serving, cashier and cooking. I did not turn around because I had 6 or 7 cars ahead of me and the same in the back.We have been clients of Pollo Tropical since it opened and had never seen this HORRIBLE service before. Where was the manager that did not pitch in to make the line go faster?

I will never go to this Pollo Tropical again after being a faithful customer of years and just moving to the Pembroke Pines area! First of all the guy in the drive through came out and approached my brand new vehicle that I just bought. When I told him we wanted to look at the menu before ordering he was very sarcastic and asked if my husband and I had ever been there before but in a rude rude way. Then while he was taking our order he was leaning on my brand new car with all of his body weight ! Then when we got to the window the employees in side were making very inappropriate jokes about masterbation and how many times they relieve themselves in one day. One of them said how he does in 7 times in a day and was bragging about it…. Then the guy at the window was preparing a soft drink for the next vehicle with no gloves and dirty long finger nails. Once he put the lid on he immediately was picking his nose. The worst experience I have ever had in a drive through . Made us not even want to eat our 40 dollar order! Do not go here !!!!!

Wasn’t able to communicate with the people in the night shift because they didn’t understand English. They got my order wrong twice. The food was cold and I told them NO SAUCE in the wrap and yet they still put it which I’m allergic to. they also gave me a room temperature can soda . I spent $30 on food that I didn’t eat.😡

Food was AWFUL!! What a disappointment. I drove through and ordered 1/2 chicken w/rice & plantains and an avocado salad. The chicken was rubbery, the skin looked anemic and there were hardly any grill marks. The rice was tasteless, the avocado was definitely thawed out from frozen, etc, etc. It's humiliating to pay good money for this disgusting food....ugh!!!!

First time I ordered for pick up it in the app it was Great, now I order pick up and come in, they tell me it takes 10 minutes before it comes on their screen, while my phone says my order is ready, so I wait.. Then another day I tried ordering several times for order pick up on the app and it would say the app is unavailable at this time and it always seems to be when it's busy, I believe they disable it and then turn it back on and that's probably why this time they tell me it takes 10 minutes to get on their screen. I'm very disappointed in this store, I was going to the other store on pines Blvd somewhere around the 80th address and they are always busy, I waited way too long over there, that's why I changed locations but now I'm just really getting tired of waiting, they need more help in these stores, the food is good but the service is really really slow. The manager is never to be seen at all.

I really like Pollo Tropical but it is disappointment after disappointment. I almost always ask for delivery but I always get sores on half of what I ask for and everything is very poorly cooked and prepared. Really disappointing in what it has become in recent times. I definitely don't think I'll be shopping at this location or any nearby location again anytime soon. If I could give you guys 0 stars I will do it

Yuca bites taste stale like they sat around all night. The chop-trop tasted not fresh & pieces were crunchie? Old hard rice I think? Never had a crunchie chop-trop ever... I've been to NMB location more than several times. Always get the same thing. I wouldn't recommend this place. Please sell fresh food! I feel grossed out, I can't finish the meal. I'd like a refund & maybe consider take this post down.

If I can give zero stars I would, this is by far the worst pollo tropical I ever been to. My chicken was burnt, they gave me an attitude when I asked for plates, straws and silverware. The way they prep the food was disgusting. The cashiers/ workers were rude. Horrible place, I recommend to go to another pollo tropical.

This place is horrible. The food or is older or not good cook. When u order they delivery different think. In this picture I order yesterday on my lunch this. The flan never came. Was 4 milk. Not only is the drive thru a disaster during peak hours, but their customer service is mediocre. I’m I only giving this location 2 stars because my plantains were fresh. Other than that, believe all the 1 star reviews below and above. Update 09/04/22: I decided to give this location another chance after seeing they offered wings on the menu. BIG MISTAKE!!!! I am currently 8 months pregnant and I hope these people did not put my unborn & I life in jeopardy after realizing that the second wing i bit into was still raw! I couldn’t believe it! Food was absolutely horrible. I order the steak tropa chop. This was my first time trying stake at Pollo. Definitely the last time. Ordered extra meat and all I got was pieces of really chewy fat. There was maybe a piece or two that was edible. I was super upset when I had to throw out the food because it wasn't edible. Last time coming to this location

Where do I start (sight)? Cashier was stressed out from the beginning. I ordered four items, two of them (from the menu) they didn't have (frozen mango drink and rum mojito). After paying I waited for my receipt but they couldn't print it because printer ran out of paper! At this point I just laughed... While I was waiting for the order I decided to order a side of croquettes and got in line again. Once again they said they didn't have it available. Resignated I picked up the only few items from my original order, only to be told one of the (only TWO) items was out (mango ice tea) so I had to choose a soda instead. Oh, and the place was disgusting, as nobody seemed to clean the table for more than an hour (see picture enclosed). Bottom line, avoid at any cost. DON'T COME HERE!!

Ordered on doordash and their is no option to pay for extra sauce if you want extra sauce... called pollo tropical and had an agent call the store and connect with the manager who said she cannot give extra sauce because i would need to pay for it ... agent stated door dash does not provide the customers with that option and she still refused to send an extra sauce or two. Thats embarassing... and as a manager you should do better cause out of the 100 door dash orders u have a day at this location what it is to give one or two orders 2 extra sauces . Smh

Worst service ever. Litterally. I waited 2 hours for an order that I ordered one hour before even going. I walked inside, didn’t even get looked at or spoken to and I stood at the register for about 15 mins. Then, I went outside made the line which took another 30 mins to even get seen and they asked me to come back inside? I said no as I just came from inside where I didn’t even get spoken to & they offered for someone to come out. I am currently still waiting for this person who is allegedly supposed to come out and it’s been 20 mins. I’ve never been the type to write a bad review but this place is a mess and it’s so sad.

disappointed, the worst tropical chicken... the food is old and burnt... and things were missing from my order...

I witnessed 6 people walk out of the lobby tonight due to bad customer service and long wait times. This is all while waiting 20 minutes for an order I had placed 20 minutes online previously. The kitchen looks dirty as hell. Only one person is working the register. And my order was being prepared as I was waiting at the counter… when I had placed it all those minutes before before. AND the order was wrong. I promise I’ll drive another 15 minutes to another Pollo Tropical before I ever go to this one. I understand how the restaurant biz works, I worked in it for years but tonight was pitiful, pitiful enough for me to take time out of my evening to make this review. To make matters worse, I get home and the chicken is undercooked.

Waited 30 min for a single grilled sandwich and received it upside down and grilled. They had the sandwich out in the open without a patty atleast close the box.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The server, Javier Diaz, was very rude, and my food came out with hair in it and undercooked chicken. Completely disappointing and unsafe to eat.

The staff seemed uninterested and unprofessional. My order was incorrect, and when I politely asked to fix it, the employee acted annoyed instead of apologizing. There was no sense of urgency, no courtesy, and no effort to make things right. It felt like customer satisfaction simply didn’t matter.

Man, This place sucks I went two hours before it closed and they didn’t have any chicken options. They didn’t have any salad very limited and this is not the way it should be. They should definitely serve their customers till the last minute of them being open.

La atención fue buena. La sorpresa fue al momento de servirnos el almuerzo, pedimos un Pollo entero y sus acompañantes, al parecer el pollo estaba desnutrido, más que todo era piel y hueso. Además faltó 1/2 Pechuga. Llevé a casa un pan y al calentarlo en el Mircroway se puso muy duro y adherido al plato...

Estoy tan cansada que no hay una sola vez que yo haga un pedido aquí para recoger y SIEMPRE falta algo que pedí, pero es SIEMPRE, he tenido que devolverme hoy y siempre pierdo el dinero porque no tengo tiempo, uno no está con el tiempo disponible para estar devolviéndose porque no son capaces NUNCA de poner en la bolsa todo lo que uno pide. PÉSIMO SERVICIO.
