After hours of walking trying to find a decent seafood restaurant we accidentally stumbled on this place. Glad we made the stop. Everything we had was good!! The lobster linguine, risotto and seafood soup were on the top of the list. Service was great. The chef also sent us a special appetizer. Definite good choice to stop here.

What a beautiful Sunday lunchtime we had here at Méditerranée in Como. With Samir’s excellent service, it was truly a treat! For sure not the most affordable place to enjoy food & drinks, but consider the location and ambiance. We really enjoyed it!

This is definitely one of our favorite restaurants in a beautiful & bustling piazza in Como. We like it so much that we dined there 3 times in one week. Sherif’s service is truly impeccable, and with his winning smile and great personality he succeeded in making every meal special for us. The quality of the food here is excellent, and the wine list has something for every budget. Highly recommended, and is definitely on our list for our next visit.

If you want somewhere sit and relax in calm and quiet atmosphere after a walk around Como, then you need to come here. Here you will be served with delicious ravioli, tender steak and pasta with shrimp and lobster, the taste of which you will remember warmly for days. It is also worth noting the friendly staff, who will definitely help with the choice of dessert. Thank you for such a good place)

Pizza was delicious! If you want service, you need to ask for it! Every country is different. I love that they give you snacks with your drinks if you just want to enjoy your drinks. Italian restaurants are nice. They don’t rush you and they let you enjoy your meals and drinks. The pizza crust was delicious! Try it with the chili oil!

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food for the affordable prices, considering the location and setup of the restaurant. The food quality was fantastic - the best we’ve had for our entire trip so far. Better than those we’ve paid 2 - 3 times the price for. The service staff were friendly and helpful as well. Recommended to visit and try the food there.

Funny staff, great food, good vibe and quiet corner in a crowded day. The price may seems high but for me it fits the dishes. I love the seafood plate we ordered, fair deal. Attention: they will take around 3€/person for table service.

Siamo stati a fare un aperitivo, location molto carina, personale però lento e a volte abbiamo dovuto chiedere due volte perché si erano dimenticati del nostro ordine. Stuzzichini nella norma si potrebbe migliorare essendo il locale anche una pizzeria. In conclusione locale tranquillo se si vuole bere qualcosa o mangiare ma non per un aperitivo abbondante

Premetto che non ho avuto modo di mangiare in questo locale, ma ho ordinato da bere. Il posto è carino e inizialmente l’esperienza stava andando bene. Tuttavia, tra le 23 e mezzanotte, il cameriere ha aperto la porta d’ingresso, presumibilmente per motivi legati alla pulizia del locale. Essendo una sera di fine novembre, è entrato molto freddo. Nonostante la richiesta di chiudere la porta, la risposta è stata negativa. Ci siamo spostati a un tavolo più lontano dalla porta, ma la situazione non è migliorata di molto. Per quanto riguarda la mia ordinazione, ho scelto un wasabi margarita: davvero buono, anche se leggermente caro. Senza questo disguido, avrei dato 5 stelle.

Il locale, situato al centro di Como, è molto elegante e ben curato e l'atmosfera è calma e piacevole. Le pietanze sono di qualità e ben presentate. Lo staff è professionale e disponibile.

First off, Kiara our waitress was amazing. She accommodated our food requests happily. She was extremely friendly and sincere 5/5 just for her. Secondly, the beginning entre was almost worth the €10 cover we got olives, bread and cheese. The water was a rip off as it was €7 for still water so do not order that. Now the food... We got a personalized seafood spaghetti. The portion was big and full with seafood. It was delicious but the only comment is that it needed a bit more sauce. We also got the Capricciosa Pizza it was really tasty but nothing fancy. We were very happy with the atmosphere and the food as a whole.

This was a great afternoon meal after shopping in Como. We enjoyed seafood gratin and a amazing Greek salad while people watching in the square. Our Turkish waiter hit it off with my Bulgarian wife, neighboring countries and some shared language lead the way...

We had a day in Como and was looking for a place for late lunch. Staff were very friendly and helpful , the view was really nice and they turned on the heater before the sun came out. Enjoy all the food we ordered especially the octopus and burrata. For the steak tartare - my preference is for the beef to be cut instead of minced and they provided Worcestershire which I added and was pretty good. Didn’t get to try any others but I will recommend this place if you need an Italian meal near the square.

Nonostante le recensioni che ho letto da una stella, io sono convinta che 3 ne bastano. Esperienza non perfetta ma servizio piacevole, camerieri lavorano con formalità e professionalità. I prezzi erano più alti della media, i primi di pasta di qualità con pesce fresco. Unica cosa deludente era quando avevamo il conto a mano, magari hanno esagerato il costo del servizio.

Che dire..! Abbiamo cenato in due in questo posto accogliente dove abbiamo dovuto attendere oltre un'ora per essere serviti; i prezzi esagerati per quello che abbiamo mangiato...un risotto di sapori di mare troppo cotto (28 €!)...con pochi sapori degli ingredienti riportati nel menù, un antipasto con un tentacolo di polpo..da masticare a fatica (€ 18)! Non parliamo del prezzo del servizio 12€ in due! Un calice (scarso) di vino rosato € 14! Una bottiglia d'acqua naturale €7! Una spigola in guazzetto (€ 28), un contorno di verdure grigliate (10 €), 2 caffè pessimi, totale € 122! Francamente rapporto qualità/prezzo insufficiente! Da non ripetere l'esperienza!

One star less because the staff would rather die than smile. Apart from the man at the door who said good bye in a friendly way, everybody else was borderline rude. Another star less because the tiramisu was of the lowest (supermarket) quality. We left more than half in the glass. Another star less because the tagliatelle were cooked without salt. Overall a loveless, careless experience which made the 103 euro too much. PS. The American x-mas music was more annoying than enjoyable but this is a matter of taste. Do not recommend!

9pm on a Saturday we asked for a table in this restaurant. After 5 minutes we are installed at the end of the terrace just next to the kitchen. The window is open so we have all the smell and the noice. We ordered 1 pizza, 1 pasta and 2 glaces of wine. The pizza came pretty quickly but after 10 minutes I still did not have my pasta. We complained to several waiter and after 5 or 10 more minutes I finally received my meal. They barely apologized and said that they will make a gesture at the end. In the meantime we received our 2 glasses of wine. We asked for the bill 2 time and here again another bad surprise : 6€ per person for coperto and a mistake on the wine price (13€ vs. 10€ on the menu) and obviously no gesture for the fact that we did not eat at the same time. They suggested to have free limoncello which is definely not what we expected. Bad experience !! The food was ok.

Walking into this restaurant felt like a sigh of relief after enduring the bumper-to-bumper traffic and the never-ending quest for a parking spot in the city center. Both the exterior and interior captivated us with their charm. The view promised a serene backdrop to our meal, and the tasteful interior decorations set high expectations for what was to come. However, the promise of a delightful dining experience began to waver once we received our food. I opted for the Tagliatelle with truffles, a dish that, at its price point, should have been a culinary triumph. Unfortunately, the reality was underwhelming. The portion size seemed meager, almost as if it were an afterthought, and the taste left much to be desired. The word "rip-off" lingered in my mind as I took each bite. That said, it wasn't all doom and gloom. The staff stood out as the restaurant's saving grace. They were attentive, kind, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. This attention to customer service helped mitigate some of our disappointment. The interior, too, deserves a nod. Whoever designed the space did so with an eye for detail; it's the kind of place that makes you want to take photos to remember it by, even if the food isn't up to par. In summary, this restaurant nails the atmosphere and customer service but falls woefully short in the one area that matters most in dining: the food. The experience felt disjointed, like reading a book with a captivating beginning and middle but a lackluster ending. So, would I recommend this restaurant? Only if you prioritize ambiance and service over culinary quality. And even then, manage your expectations when it comes to the food and its prices.

Ieri siamo stati a pranzo in questo bistrot carino e lì finisce il bello. Esperienza da non ripetere e completamente sconsigliato. Personale che non si sa bene se hanno poca voglia, sono stanchi o non sono ben organizzati. Abbiamo ordinato due pizze, entrambe non cotte, una Coca cola, una birra senza alcohol e un millefoglie scongelato. Conto salato di 76 euro. Carissimo per non aver mangiato niente di speciale ne buono. Coperto a 6 EUR senza un minimo di benvenuto, senza pane, senza burro, senza una oliva, senza un grissino, niente. I nostri vicini ti tavolo di entrambi i lati hanno ricevuto un amuse bouche. Noi due niente. Posto chiaramente con dei prezzi esagerati per i turisti che non ci tornano più. Deludente e sconsigliato.

Sono stato ieri sera da Mediterrane Como e l’esperienza è stata pessima. Ho ordinato un Margarita e una tartare di salmone che era chiaramente andata a male: il sapore era fortissimo e sgradevole, sapeva di marcio ed era immangiabile. Inoltre ho sentito alcuni camerieri fare commenti dispregiativi nei confronti dei clienti, cosa assolutamente inaccettabile. Qualità del cibo e del servizio molto deludente. Stra sconsigliato.

DA EVITARE! Sono molto scontenta. Siamo venute qui con altre 2 amiche (3 ragazze) e credo che siamo state trattate come persone di poco conto. Abbiamo subito un trattamento sfavorevole. Siamo arrivate 40 minuti prima di un tavolo accanto a noi, occupato da persone che sembravano più benestanti di noi, e questo si è riflesso nel servizio: il personale ha riservato loro un trattamento di favore, dedicandogli molte attenzioni, come riprendendoli in video, mettendo la musica che avevano scelto, e servendoli più velocemente di noi, anche se avevamo ordinato prima. Abbiamo aspettato 40 minuti per il nostro dessert, mentre loro lo hanno ricevuto subito dopo averlo ordinato. Noi abbiamo ordinato la pasta all'astice, che abbiamo dovuto sgusciare da sole, mentre il tavolo accanto ha ordinato lo stesso piatto, ma il personale lo ha sgusciato per loro e servito in un piatto che sembrava più lussuoso. A loro hanno servito le bevande, mentre a noi no. Un messaggio al personale: non sottovalutate le persone che sembrano meno benestanti, perché sono le più umili che hanno di più da offrire.

Molto deluso da questo ristorante. Abbiamo notato che il tavolo accanto a noi riceveva un trattamento privilegiato, con musica dedicata e aragoste sgusciate, mentre io avevo ordinato lo stesso piatto senza queste attenzioni. Siamo stati talmente ignorati che si sono dimenticati di portarci il dessert. Peccato, perché il cibo era molto buono, ma il servizio va rivisto.

Cena all'aperto in un ambiente molto rumoroso. Gli antipasti, scarsi, sono passabili ma i due piatti di pasta (uno all'astice a l'altro con polpa di ricci e vongole gommose) sono veramente pessimi in quanto la pasta era senza dubbio precotta e, in particolare gli spaghetti, erano appiccicati l'un l'altro. Salvo solo il servizio, in particolare la cortesia e la professionalità della cameriera che ha servito il nostro tavolo. Conto carissimo e spropositato alla qualità ricevuta.

Terribile. Ho dovuto urlare dal mio tavolo per chiamare uno dei tre camerieri fermi a parlare per 10min per poter ordinare un aperitivo. Camerieri che giocano e lanciano vassoio. Camerieri che fumano subito all’esterno del bar completamente a vista durante le ore di lavoro. Orribile. Non andateci.

Do not go to this restaurant. The food and service was not good and not worth the money. I ordered spaghetti with sea urchin, clams and bottarga. I was expecting these items on my pasta, however was only given clams. When I asked about the other two I was told they were a powder on pasta. There was no powder and no where in the description did it mention powder. I my plate was rudely taken from me and returned with some salty powder on it. Water barely came to our table.
