We really loved the setup of this place. It's so easy to miss but you won't be disappointed if you find it. It was really nice with several seating sections that were all lovely. We got there at 10:30pm and were still able to order a full meal as they close at 12. We got the risotto and the steak & peppers. Both were very good.

This place is a must see and eat while in Sorrento. No noise from the street, yet it is on the main walking area. It is set in a garden of lemon trees. The food was fantastic and service was amazing. I went back twice.

If you’re looking for the Lemon Tree experience and craving delicious Italian fare at reasonable prices, this place won’t disappoint. We truly enjoyed our meal — everything was fresh and flavorful, and the service was excellent. One thing that stood out was the quality of the arugula — just like in Italy! We also appreciated the efficiency of the staff; each server had a specific role, which made the service smooth and professional. The music added a lovely ambiance to the evening. Highly recommend!

Went here for a nice meal in a nice setting and didn’t disappoint. Lovely setting surrounded by lemon trees and food was great. We had the mixed fried starter followed by lamb shank and braised beef, with sides of roast potato. In hind sight we wouldn’t have had the starter, not due quality but quantity! The food was all great but the most costly meal we had in our week in Sorrento, €105 for two people, however we had mainly pasta and pizza elsewhere, which were reasonably comparable price on the menu.

My husband and I stumbled upon this gem on night on our honeymoon. We weren’t expecting it to blow us away. The pizza (pizza il mortazzi) was fantastic! Honestly the best pizza we have ever had. The pasta was delicious as well. We were seated in the garden, but then it started raining. The staff got everyone reseated quickly. They workers so hard and the service was amazing. Highly recommend.

This place is absolutely lovely! The service was fantastic, everyone inside was super polite, friendly and always had a smile on their face, made us feel really welcome! The place was beautiful too, a wonderful garden in the middle of Sorrento, it's a lovely place to have your dinner (or drinks!). The food was brilliant. We had the prosciutto and mozzarella starter with bread and olive oil which was delicious, and for mains we had ravioli and cannelloni, both were rich in their flavour, fresh and fantastic overall, and finally for desert we had a beautiful Pastry, with a custard creme filling and strawberries throughout, I've forgotten the name but it was gorgeous (millefoglie I think!). To add the drinks too were great! It is a little pricey for Italy, but a fantastic meal in a fantastic setting. Definitely worth going to!

Lovely place with a beautiful garden outside ! We didn’t reserve and found this place walking in city center ! Terrace is huge ! But luckily not busy when we went ! The menu offer all the Italian specialities! Service was quick ! I choose the braised beef ! It was good very tender ! The restaurant is really nice outside except that nothing particular

It has a really nice and serene atmosphere with a beautiful garden. It is one of the more expensive restaurants. The welcome was not very hospitable as we stood there for a while wondering what was happening after the bar maid had asked if we wanted to sit. The food was nice. Bread was given to us before our meal, I would have liked some butter with this, however had used the olive oil and balsamic vinegar that was on the table, which had gone very nicely with it. My partner and I both got food poisoning from eating here and it nearly prevented us from being able to travel to the Amalfi Coast the following day. Now that we have eaten at multiple restaurants in Sorrento, the food here was nowhere near the quality of what you would expect - especially in comparison to the other places in town. We ordered the seafood appetizer and we could tell it wasn’t fresh so we didn’t finish it. The sauce for my pasta was tasty but the prawns had a weird texture - almost like they were formed from mashed potatoes or something. I didn’t finish eating that either. We did notice a disclaimer on the menu that stated, depending on season, some foods are cooked from frozen, but I didn’t imagine that would be applicable during the summer months where seafood and produce is in abundance here. We should have left upon reading that. The service was decent, with one of our wait staff in particular being friendlier than the rest. However, when we were escorted in to our table, we were told there were no seats remaining in the prime areas so we were put at a table in the corner near the bar and bathrooms. This would have been okay if it truly was the only seat remaining, but when I saw the host seat Italian guests in the gazebo, I felt a little annoyed - especially because the guests were in line just behind us and they too were walk-in guests without reservations. The ambience is really pretty. From the outside, bustle, you wouldn’t imagine that you would be seated in a quiet courtyard surrounded by gardens and lemon trees. I just would have loved a different table to better enjoy the atmosphere. Overall, I would not recommend this place for the food experience, there are much better places in town. If you want to be in the atmosphere, I would suggest checking it out for a cocktail or glass of wine.
