We stayed at the Wyndham hotel for 3 nights and went to Zarape each night. Food was great, a lot to choose from and they will make custom meals for you if you ask for them. Also their staff was really nice. We asked for something that was not on the menu and they showed up with what we were looking for + some extra plates of local foods. Our waiter, Hector was awesome and bent over backward to make sure we had a nice visit. Do yourself a favor and ask for Hector and order the mole chicken! Also they have all you can eat and drink for $35 which is quite affordable considering.

The restaurant must have changed hands. We went here twice! They have a special system: à la carte, but also all you can eat and drink for $35. The food was simply wonderful, the best we've had in Playa. There's soup, appetizers, vegetarian dishes, main courses, desserts, all kinds of drinks, including cocktails, espresso, fresh juices, etc. The three of us were here for almost three hours and spent $105 on the best restaurant experience we've had in a long time. Absolutely 5 stars and highly recommended!

The waiter was amazing and very accommodating. I was so happy with everything. Food, drinks, desserts. Food came out fast and fresh. I had the hibiscus tea, so good 🌺 and Carne asada tacos.

The food is pretty mediocre. It's included with the Wyndham hotel, but the food is quite bland and tasteless, and the flavors are bad. I've had much better tacos on the street than at this restaurant.

Below average service from our waiter, almost condescending, made us feel very uncomfortable. Our order was wrong (was meant to be fish, instead came out pork) which could have been a bit of dilemma. We were offered more appetisers and they never came. Food was soooo plain, have had better from food trucks. Don’t waste your all inclusive on this place, go somewhere else. Wish we read the reviews beforehand.

I'm pregnant, and I asked permission to use the restroom, but they said no. My husband went inside to buy a drink so he could use it, and he told me to go straight to the restroom. They wouldn't sell him anything because he wasn't a guest, even though he explained the situation. A woman approached me as I left the restroom with a bad attitude, telling me I had no right to use the restroom, that only guests could use the facilities. I asked her if I owed her something, and she said no. But she continued to treat me as if I couldn't stay there. A horrible place, and I should sue.

This was hands down not worth $35 per person. The food was bland and the chips were hard enough to chip a tooth. The guacamole was clearly not fresh and probably a pre-made mix. The service was average at best. I'm very sad we chose to pass up a less expensive restaurant down the street for this one. My husband looked at me like I was crazy when we agreed to the price. I should have heeded his nonverbals!! Total waste of money. I just looked at the photos and they look nothing like the food that was served to us today. They're from two years ago. Maybe owners have changed? Too bad.

This is the worst food we've ever had, truly awful and tasteless. The drinks were watered down. For the price they charge, it's a rip-off. Finally, the service was terrible; they tried to cheat us by giving us less change.
