Great location and staff. I prefer just regular coffee black and theirs is not bitter.

Decent coffee, great service, WiFi has improved greatly, and no matter how long the line is, they won't rush you.

Another great Starbucks. Since it's in a shopping center the traffic can be a bit much. Nothing you can really do other than keep an eye out. But overall staff ans experience are all good!

So appreciate a great cup of coffee and being greeted by name! It's great to see some outdoor tables and chairs available again for people to sit and enjoy their coffee and not have to rush away.

It is a Starbucks. Big plus on consistently being what they are, from location to location. Dependably pretentious with medium to good coffee and annoying attempts to upsell. There is always the vague scent of frustrated baristas (coffee dust and overstressed deodorant) trying their very best to be nice to everyone. Even the two out of five customers who are looking for a little mental BJ with their coffee order (or just someone, anyone who will be nice to them for 30 seconds) or worse those who treat the baristas very poorly as a desperate way to experience personal power over someone else, anyone else. This to ease the pain of their own unfulfilling, empty lives of sucking butt in some other awful situation. Then someone steals your power outlet when you are in the bathroom, but will not look you in the eye, so you kind of give up on humanity while downing the rest of your large (or vente, whatever) latte. The end.

My coffee was feeling light like too much foam and not enough coffee. They immediately gave me another one without hesitation. I was really pleased with their service.

I'm not a regular Starbucks drinker by any means. But I have had to stop at this location a couple of times to pick up a quick cup. I've only used the dru-thru so far, and so far, I have never spent more than 6-8 minutes in line waiting. This is typically between 5-630am, which I expect there to be more traffic, but it has been light traffic every time I go. I get their dark roast blend with cream and sugar, and I'm on my way. So far, I haven't been disappointed. So if you just keep it simple I'm sure you can be in and out in no time. That's all I need. Keep it up guys and gals!

Either I've radically diverged from the test tester community or the past that brought me products to Starbucks or their current seasonal drinks are just not hitting the mark, in fact I'm wondering where the the appeal is. Specifically, the iced pumpkin spice latte and the iced apple crisp oatmilk shaken espresso (couldn't finish this one)

I LOVEEEEE this Poway Starbucks ❤ They always make our coffee perfect and I really dont like to go to any other Starbucks. This one doesn't have a drive thru yet which is why I love going here too. Mobile ordering is just as good as a drive thru in my opinion, others may not agree but I feel like it keeps the quality of service excellent. The employees make an effort to get to know you and your order and I appreciate that because they always remember our side of half and half.

Service at this Starbucks is always good. They go through the lines quickly. Only complaint would be that you can't always hear your name being called from the bar because people like to stand there and talk rather than get out of the way. Let me have my coffee!

Your normal Starbucks, the team is normally fast and friendly. There isn’t a drive through at this location so you’ll have to go inside. They do have pickup parking in front, but it is limited.

This is the best Starbucks in Poway. I just left with a huge order for a bunch of nurses. The Batista Julie went above and beyond to make sure their coffees got to the hospital without any trouble. People like her are the reason I drive to this Starbucks instead of the one right down the street from the hospital. I would give her more stars if I could.

Starbucks Poway Rd and Community is one of my go to's. I always order ahead and my drink is always there waiting for me when I get there. You can order in or order out as well. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and efficient, welcoming and occasionally remember names of regulars. Conveniently located near a whole bunch of other stores, you can get your coffee, tea, Frappuccino or whatever and go see a movie or grab sushi!! Way to go starbucks!! 5-Star!!!!

Today was my first day here, excellent service. Brooks was very kind and patient, listening carefully to my order. My order was ready so quickly.

Staff has always been very friendly and genuine. This is the only Starbucks we go to. The feeling there is very reminiscent of the way Starbucks used to be in its heyday.

The workers are all very nice and the drinks are we'll made. Can get crazy in the mornings but that pretty much all Starbucks.

Barista was very quick with my order, and despite the amount of patrons still had a smile on her face.

Starbucks is Starbucks. I frequent this one when I need a pick me up between jobs. A new barista made my last drink. It was different than before. The staff is friendly and my orders are ready on time.

As much as I am ethically opposed to corporate conglomerate capitalist coffee, I am partial to the occasional Matcha Green Tea Frappe. This location seems to get my online orders done on time every time, with a friendly and functional staff. The bathroom was a little on the messy side, but seeing as I did not bring it to a team member's attention, I will chalk it up to merely being between scheduled cleanings.

The morning and afternoon/evening staff is great. The Starbucks cafe on Poway road next door to Baskin Robins is filthy Monday through Friday (the Brown leather big chairs) and table are always dirty while the workers spend time cleaning the lights on the ceiling. The employees are busy cleaning where customers can't see while neglecting the chairs customers can see and sit on and the table between the two big brown leather chairs too. When any of the employees are made aware of the dirt and grime, the Starbucks employee comes over and cleans the chairs and tables while always having an upbeat and positive attitude.

Love the consistency of Starbucks. Friendly staff and great coffee.

Starbucks is always pretty good to go to, this location always seems a lot busier than the others I frequent. The employees are nicer at this one than others though.

Service is pretty good, but the wifi speeds have dropped to a new low. Literately took me 10 minutes to write this review.

Starbucks is Starbucks. They are on every corner in in most Targets or Walmarts. You been to one, you been to them all. Nothing special to brag about. Its over-rated coffee for the price, the frequent guests are all snobs, but they make decent green tea.

It is hipped up for no reason. I ordered hot chai and it was not hot. It was warm. They will not take it back to warm it again. I feel hot drink suppose to be hot not warm. It is pretty costly also.

Staff are great, outside seating is a problem. Too much trash pins and a lot of flies. Old tables which makes impossible to put your drink on it or it will spill due to unstable table top

I have always had wonderful experiences at this location, if you go first thing in the morning when they're at their busiest it is mind-blowing how fast and efficient they are. Christopher and colton are my normal baristas and are amazing, today was my first time ever having a really negative interaction with one of their employees. Daisy was not very kind or nice.. had attitude for absolutely no reason and just genuinely seem to hate her job. Probably shouldn't be in customer service if you don't like peoeple

Slow service, 4 people who ordered after me received their drinks before me...oh and they dropped my wife's coffee but now after having making it incorrectly the first time.

The cashier who took my drink order decided to talk to a co-worker as I was ordering and didn't hear what I said. Very unprofessional.

Went to get a frappucino and this Starbucks couldn't make any kind. Starbucks are known for their coffee and fraps and this particular one couldn't. So I cancelled my refresher and walked out.

Poor service today. Asked for a double espresso in a small cup. They said no problem. The very young manager mumbled to his employee to only put it in a short cup. No one asked if that was ok. I still excepted but asked again and said I didnt want unless it was put in a sample cup. I was asked why I politely explained. I still exempted by having it poured into a store cup and I drank it before I left. This use to be so exceptional in customer service but this manager was rude and unprofessional. What happened to this place?

Took over 20 mins to get my drink despite the store not being busy and it was clear they had forgotten about because there was no written order for it in their system and people who ordered after me got thier drinks before i did. Also noticed the cashier being short and blunt with customers. Not straight up rude but definitely not friendly. A roomate works for starbucks at another location but she has gone to this locatiok before and was also dissapointed with how slow they work thier bar

2 stars: below expectations. Second time in a row that my coldbrew, only at this Starbucks, did not taste good... First time it was too watered-down, actually couldn't finish it... Second time I got uncut/no water (which tastes friggen delish at other Starbucks), and it's not strong at all and way too sweet...we can't taste any coffee flavor :'(.

Disappointing. My cafe mocha is only 3/4 full when whip cream has melted. Feel jipped. Should fill cup to full then add w/cream, it's not going to overflow.

Sorry but I won't come back to this Starbucks, I'd rather stop at the one closer to the 15 freeway. As a person that spends on average at least $250 monthly, I am in that drive thru EVERY MORNING, It seems as though I should have just been handed a muffin!

I was waiting at the drive thru for a crazy long time with no one in front of me and I was only getting one drink with no modifications. It was not a peak time and from my vantage I could not see any evidence that the staff was swamped with orders inside the store. It went from 'okay, this is a little longer than usual' to 'holy moly, this is taking forever' to 'welp, not going to give her that tip now' to finally thinking I was just going to ask for my money back because I thought they forgot about me completely. To her credit, the lady serving me did apologize for the wait but the damage was done by then and it didn't strike me as very sincere; she just had to apologize to continue doing the bare minimum is what it seemed like. This Starbucks is right where I want a Starbucks with a great drive through config and I'm hesitant to go back there now. I order easy stuff, I have my payment ready when I get to the window, and I always tip at least a dollar unless there's some special reason not to. This visit was one of those rare times I had a special reason not to tip.

Staff is pleasant pleasant, but the store really needs to streamline their mobile order process. If you order ahead during any rush, it won't be ready in time, and they seem to prioritize the people who are paying in person.

Drove all the way here to get some work done and of course they close the lobby early without updating it online.

I would normally say they have okay service but this time one of their baristas was extremely rude! for starters my grande cup was almost empty when they gave it to me and when I politely asked Lisa (the one with glasses) to fill it up she was so rude in the way she talked to me. I get it, the place was busy but that is not way to treat a client!! Avoid Lisa if you go there.

Starbucks makes good drinks but this one has coffee Nazi's. No iced coffee refill after an espresso drink. Every other Starbucks i have been to lets me get an iced coffee refill regardless of my original drink. Very disappointing experience.

My drink was extremely milky, so much that it was flavorless and barely warm. If I had tasted it in the store, I would have had it remade, but I was already gone so it was a waste of money and time. What a disappointment! To top it off, she had removed the whipped cream that didn't belong, asking me if I wanted MORE MILK!

the little girl who made my coffee was rude and didn't follow instructions . When I pay for it . She looked very lazy and she had a mean face when she was like"here" . I will no be going back nor my co workers

i ordered in doors, i ordered and i was charged, i was then left to wait for 45mins, when i asked about my order they said it hadn't been placed, i ordered a second time and it wasnt what i ordered... the workers are nice but the actual service is disappointing.

Younger guy working the drive through around 6pm needs to be fired, no customer service at all, seems like a very rude person that shouldn’t be working a drive thru where you have to interact with people wasn’t wearing his full uniform either.

There espresso machines were down, they had 2 people working on a Saturday morning, they forgot about my bagel. Then I had requested it extra toasted, but they forgot that too. First bagel was lightly toasted. I returned it and the girl said that it was my fault for not telling them that I wanted it extra toasted after they forgot. I told them that they forgot in the first place and it's not my fault. Then she said "I just got here. Idk." I had to wipe down the table of crumbs when I sat down. This is my neighborhood Starbucks but they are seriously slipping

It was dead. Not a single other customer and they didn’t start on making the drink until 10 minutes later.

Their new hire didn’t know where the food item I ordered was so instead of asking, she simply ignored my order and it took over 15 minutes to give me my food.
