MOD Pizza

We have been there twice now both times were fantastic. Here are my top ten reason why Mod Pizza is Great 1. The Gluten fee crust tastes great 2. The cauliflower crust also Gluten Free us amazing 3. The topping selection is excellent 4. The MOD radio station is FREE and I have a link to listen to it all the time on my phone because it is that GOOD 5. Bathroom is clean 6. Service is fast 7. Friendly helpful people woking there 8. My daily of 4 can eat there for under 30.00 and be stuffed 9. They even have dessert. 10. Close to all the Redding shopping stops we go to when we come from Weaverville once a month.

Juice is not from mid but pizza there was delicious - we had custom made pizza with chicken sausage and roasted chicken, veggies with pesto sauce and pesto drizzle. if you plan to eat after some time/home delivery, base can get a bit soggy. didn't like the cake they offer.

We had never been to a MOD before & they made it a great experience, even though they were slammed and we waited in line a good 10 mins or more. They were very helpful guiding us through the process & I'd definitely go back & recommend to anyone!

It’s difficult to find vegan cheese at any pizza place in Redding. I discovered that MOD Pizza has vegan cheese! This pizza did not disappoint. It was so good! I will absolutely be back. I got it with a side salad and nondairy dressing and it was amazing! The staff is friendly and courteous and the restaurant was very clean.

I always take my grandkids here because its so trendy. I don't know what I like more: the creat-your-own pizza, or watching everyone. Once I ordered online and their internet was down so no pizza when I arrived on my work dinner break. Rather then a lame excuse, they made pizzas AND gave me coupons for the next visit. We're talking 6 pizzas, 6 coupons.

I love this place and visited multiple times! Great selection of fresh and delicious wood fired pizzas made for you with extra toppings at no additional cost. It's rare to find good value and great food at a restaurant and this place has both!

We ❤️ MOD in Redding! Everyone is so friendly, it’s always super clean and always tastes amazing! My kids love the Maddy, 1/2 BBQ sauce topper & chicken on one side. My favorite is the Caspian.. so good!

Have your pizza just the way you want! The place is always clean and the staff is very friendly. We enjoy our visits here and can create a different pizza or salad each time we go, so it never seems boring or mundane. We also enjoy the (non soda) drink options. I usually only eat 1/2 of a MOD size and take the rest home, making both servings around $6!

So delicious!! Came out really fast and the employees were really nice and helpful. I love this concept because I like lots of toppings- so paying for the size of the pizza then being able to pick whatever you want on it is killer!! Paid extra for thick crust and it was worth it. Pizza came out perfect! They also have tasty iced teas to choose from. I will definitely be coming back!!

Whether you are a vegetarian or a meat lover choosing your favorite toppings with your favorite base (mine pesto, especially mushroom base when available) makes your pizza just right for you 😉.

Great experience! We were on a road trip to Canada. On the way back to California I stopped for a night. I was amazed with cleanliness, service and the overall experience. How come they maintain everything very well? Room to front desk. I will definitely stay there for my next trip

As a traveling person, it’s tough to find restaurants and eateries that I can rely on. Luckily, I can always rely on MOD pizza. This location was no exception. I got to meet the manager. Page runs a very clean and efficient ship. My pizza was made to perfection and the restaurant was very clean. Really appreciate it!

I love MOD Pizza. Great pizza, affordable prices and friendly staff. It's quick and has good portion sizes. I highly recommend trying them out if you haven't already. I usually go to the one on Dana Drive in Redding, California but every location I've ever been to has been a great experience. If you love pizza you must try MOD Pizza!

We went here for a fundraiser. They serve gluten-free pizza. It's okay dough, but not great. Fun atmosphere. Fast service. Clean place. We also got a build your own salad. They are very big. You can put whatever you want in it.

Good Exotic Pizza (but a bad normal pizza) My favorite pizza ever when im craving like a pasta of some sort but man do the basic pizzas just not hit ths spot for normal pizza! Definitely get little Ceasars or something else if you like a standard menu option pizza! But ABSOLUTELY come here if you want to go out of the box and order with topping and sauces impossible to find at other pizza places! But if you order a cauliflower crust be extra sure they dont burn it, their oven is too hot for that dough often. Idk basically i love my green pizza order, my friends all love it too, but ive never seen anyone satisfied from their standard menu options

Great place! Let’s be honest your not going to find a traditional New York or Chicago Style pizza here, but having the ability to customize your pizza the way you want and pair that with quality is a rare thing. The crust is the best part of Mod Pizza for me. The bbq sauce which is one of the many you can choose from, is a bit underwhelming as it just mellows into the total taste in your mouth, but still great. The red sauce is where it is at for me! Very tangy head to it that slaps you in the mouth and just when your about the roll up your sleeves and give it your right hook; the sweetness an spice kicks in. The staff that I have met the several times I have been there is a bit monotonous. All of them seem really young and eclectic. You have 2-3 people up in front that are in the topping area just droning away never saying a word. With 1-2 people on the right side of the front end expediting packing the pizzas in the correct order for the pizzas being place in the boxes as they are completed. The person cooking the pies are normally the most energetic, professional person in the front end. As you are wanting them go, turning and placing pie to or from the oven, you cant help but notice what seems to be 20 different employees walking in and out of the back of the restaurant. Just when you think you have seen them all, you see a new face. Will go back soon…

Good price for delicious pizza made right in front of you..i. Tried a pepperoni and jalapenos was good. But the Dillion James pizza was Awesome..

Mod is an awesome dining experience! It's the Subway of Pizza! Lol Seriously, though: Mod is great.! You pick your crust, sauces, toppings, cheese etc and there is plenty to choose from. Then they bake your pizza and call you when it's ready. They also have salads if Pizza is not what you're in the mood for. The thing I like most is you get an individual Pizza made exactly how YOU want it. Thick sauce, lots of Jalapeños and extra Chorizo - you got it! If you are in the mood for Pizza but want something different, definately give Mod a try. My only complaint is that they don't have enough seating for the number of people they draw - it IS a popular place. Whether it's the lunch rush or Friday/Saturday night you often can't find indoor seating which means cold in winter (they do have Propane heaters) or hot in summer. We usually just get ours to go. If you haven't been then you should stop in next time you're in the mood for Pizza!!

Good pizza for a good price and you do not have to wait half an hour for it to be ready. You get it hot right out of the oven. And its done to what your specify. When I walked in I wasn't sure what to expect the first time I ate at this chain. But the employee's were all super nice. You pick your pizza from the start to finish and they custom make it for you, right in front of you. By time you pay, get your drink and sit down, the pizza is ready just a few minutes later. And I love the Marion berry lemonade! They also make their own version of a Ding Dong and its so tasty.

Pizza tasted good. I would have liked it better if I could have chosen the type of crust. They gave me the white cracker type I'm not a fan of but it was okay. Lots of choices to put on it. It's sort of like going to a Subway sandwich place. Keep that in mind when you go for the first time. Really nice salads. Not too busy for a early Saturday night. I would go again. Knowing how it's situated.

Food was just okay here. It was very fast. I liked that they make whatever you want right in front of you. Tables were not clean. Drinks counter messy.

Not the best Mod, let's put it that way. Ordered an Armadillo, got a basic pepperoni. Mod was better when it was a Seattle only thing.

Doesn't have a cash option to pay online. Only cards are accepted...Can't go in and get it, due to being disabled, and I only get paid in cash.

Placed order on line. Arrived to find order not even in oven. Waited 5 minutes and order still not in oven. Two pizza orders in front of mine were messed up and had to be remade. I watched as my pizzas sat on the rack waiting to be fired. 2 additional orders were placed AFTER mine yet came out before. Sighs. Not to mention no extra chicken. Slow night, not too many folks. Disappointed.

Not sure what happened to our pizza but it definitely does not look like other pics in these reviews. After driving for 9 hours, we grabbed some Mod pizzas and a salad to go. When we opened them up in our hotel room, we were very disappointed. Our pizza looked like it had about half of the ingredients of a normal pizza. Our salad was supposed to have balsamic dressing and was completely dry. We weren't about to go back out after driving all day to get it corrected. Disappointing.

Order dominoes!!!!! Mod says all the toppings you want…. Ask for extra mushrooms and the lady picked up 2 mushrooms started tearing them up…… and putting them on the pizza… not worth it…. The kids 6 inch is 10 dollars for a pizza made with a tortilla…. I would not recommend…

Unfortunately a burned pizza. It takes all the taste way and it is unprofessional. :// love pizza but nobody like it burned! Staff didn’t do anything about, just pretend it was normal. Not great experience!

This is the saddest pizza Mod has ever made, for the first time in years going to the Redding location. Nice people, but maybe management is tough on them to cut back on ingredient amounts. Chico has never done me dirty like this.

I had just ordered a DoorDash order and all I can say is this place is so cheap and lazy, I ordered 2 pizzas and a cookie in total just wanting to try this place on of my pizzas being just a one topping you think they would put a lot to Average of that one topping but I had like 7 pepperonis for a 11 inch pizza they used so much mozzarella cheese for it being the one product they can waste so much of and it was basically just a cheese pizza if I wanted that I would’ve ordered that, the pizza is very mid wouldn’t come back or recommend honestly it’s not hard to give ur customer what they pay for.
