Nice quiet little coffee with local products. Not a big menu, bit everything un it is good. On Tuesdays it's the meeting place for a language club from 5 to 7 and it has poetry readings after. Un lindo y pequeño café con productos locales. No tiene un menú muy grande, pero todo esta rico. Los martes ahí se reúne un club para aprender idiomas de 5 a 7 y luego hay lectura de poesía

Un lugar sencillo con un entorno muy acogedor. El café de gran calidad, producido en Chiapas y tostado por ellos, con gran cuerpo y sabor. Tú eliges la forma de preparación, ya sea artesanal (v60, prensa francesa, chemex) o de máquina. No solo tienen café, también ofrecen otras bebidas como tes, aguas... Hay cacaos, miel y otros productos naturales y artesanales. Pero he de decir, que lo que más destaco es la atención de Miguel, su conocimiento y pasión por el café, el cariño y delicadeza con la que lo prepara y ... su carisma. Pero lo más especial sin duda, la plática que compartimos. Volveremos.

The coffee is without doubt the best ones in town. For vegans I would highly recommend the Sesame seed Late and the coffee filtrations with V60 and Chemex. Pizza is also a winner at this place. I highly recommend for vegetarians to try the Huitlacoche which is a mushroom that grows in corn. It is considered to be the caviar of Mexico. Prices are affordable, very reasonable for the quality.

Me encanta esta cafetería! Love this place a lot! Súper good coffee, excellent wifi and a lovely inner courtyard/patio in which to enjoy the superb coffees that are made here. Very nice staff and an interesting mix of locals, nationals and internationals. There's also a comfy-chairs corner inside with a nice coffee table that doubles (para Carlos - hola compadre, qué onda, güey?!) as a little work station. I visited Libre Café as often as I could during my 2 weeks in San Cristóbal :)

Excellent coffee, chocolate and tobacco for sale. They have V60s, Chemex, French press, aeropress and espresso based coffees. I went there everyday, when in San Cristobal. Very authentic spot.

I really like the coffee - both the espresso and the filter coffees are great. I ordered the V60 a couple times, its super tasty and comes with enough coffee to share. I love the outdoor seating area especially during COVID.

El café es muy bueno y es un lugar muy concurrido. Para mí gusto le hace falta un poco de encanto pero tampoco está mal. Los precios son accesibles y el servicio es cordial.

El lugar tiene un muy bonito y tiene un buen ambiente para pasar el tiempo. Las bebidas son buenas y es perfecto para las personas que aman el café. Las infusiones son muy buenas también y personalmente me gustaron más que el café. Los baguettes no son tan buenos como las bebidas.

Cada que vengo a San Cristóbal paso por café para llevar, generalmente me atiende un chico muy amable pero está vez que fui me atendió una chica como con mucha flojera, el chico me explicaba con gusto las diferencias entre las mezclas y el tueste pero la chica parece que te hace un favor de atenderte.......... OJO con el servicio

The service is good and it has a nice garden to sit, but for us, the coffee, hot chocolate and brownies are very expensive for what they are. There are definitely better cafes in San Cristobal for the price

Ví muchas referencias buenas y también fue una recomendación venir acá. Pues, el lugar es muy chico, el menú de bebidas no tiene variedad. Pedí una moka, te chai latte y un brownie. Dejo 2 estrellas solo por brownie :) era bien sabroso. Pero cafe.. sin sabor. Te chai no pude terminar, estaba muy feo - creo que agregaron mas agua que se necesita y mucho clavo de olor. No voy a volver más por acá.

They are kind and they have actually a nice location. Sadly the flat white was very dissapointing. It hasn't had the right Consistency. Even I talked to the barista about it before, so he knew what my expectations were and it seemed that he knows the difference between a cappuccino and a flat white. But what I received was something what you can't serve. It was a milk coffee. So basically milk, which seemed that it wasn't circulating properly (and also it seemed way over 65 degrees so the protein couldn't get the right shape). So it had nothing from this creamy consistency it should have. I was hoping they ask me at the end how it was, so I could give them feedback. But they didn't. I was very dissapointed that they served me this milk coffee :(. From a good café I expect it to check the qualify before serving and if it doesn't suit there standard you rather do milk foam again before serving this.
