Adorable little café with some of the best breakfast and coffee in town. Sweet, savory, and flavorful, and the coffee is rich and smooth. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and pet-friendly outdoor seating make it a perfect spot.

The breakfast sushi was interesting while also being quite delicious. In photos it seems smaller than it actually is. Also unsure the alcohol content (probably hid it very well) of the margarita but hey it was a good sweet drink

We stopped in here for breakfast during our visit to San Diego. They have a lively warm atmosphere. We got seated indoors quickly after arriving. We had a party of four and ordered a variety of meals. All of our meals were delicious and full of flavor. The staff was very nice and attentive. The Mimosas were refreshing. Overall, we had a great dinning experience.

Fig Tree Cafe is my favorite place for a solid brunch in San Diego. The menu boasts a variety of options ranging from sweet to savory and everything in between. Go with a group of friends and order a bunch of dishes to share. Trust me, you'll want to try everything. The tree covered patio provides sufficient space to accommodate a lot of people without being on top of each other. The service has always been nice and not at all "snobby" like some trendy places can be sometimes. There was not a dish that we did not like. I will dream of this great, local spot until I return!

Cute outdoorsy cafe with tasty brunch options. Loved the atmosphere and friendly service. Would recommend the veggie scramble and spicy chicken sandwich.

We showed up around 9am on a Saturday and were seated straight away. The server was super nice and helpful with the menu. I ordered a chai latte with almond milk and the vegan strawberry lemon French toast. My friend got the steak and eggs. First: thank you for having vegan French toast!!! Second: vegan aside, that French toast was quite possibly the best I've ever had. 🍓🍋 Heaven! My friend loved her steak and eggs and said the steak had an amazing flavor plus the tomato chimichurri was a great addition. We sat outdoors in the sun and stayed about 50 minutes total. I would for sure return here again!

Very good breakfast sandwich surprisingly. The sausage was very juicy and flavorful. Eggs were also very fresh. Their namesake french toast was also excellent.

Loved, loved, loved!! On a drizzly day we enjoyed a wonderful meal at the Fig Tree cafe. It was great! The food was amazing, the service was fast and attentive. This is an accessible restaurant. They’re very welcoming and also dog friendly (a plus!!). The food is the star of the show… so many choices! Their menu is varied and super interesting. We had the yogurt and granola - it was nothing like I’ve ever had before. Almost like pudding! SO good!! And the pork belly with grits, amazing. Many healthy dishes with vegan, vegetarian, gluten free choices. I imagine there is probably a wait most days. Be patient, it’s worth it. Street parking.

Loved our brunch at Fig Tree Cafe. Beautiful, relaxing ambiance on the dog friendly patio. We ordered the breakfast sushi which is a fun menu twist to differentiate from the classic brunch menu, as well as the shrimp frittata. Both tasted great, the man candy bacon was a fun twist as well, good apple cider too. Great service, and the food came out quick. Great spot in PB and not too far from the ocean.

Fig Tree Cafe (Pacific Beach) is such a unique Cafe. It was like dining in someone's cool beach house. Our server Maddie was super sweet and the food was amazing! The Crispy Pork Belly & Grits, with a side of Man Candy Bacon. Finishing off with a Honey Lavender Latte was oh so good! 😋

Absolutely delicious food and quirky looking restaurant. Wait time was 20 mins but we got in a little sooner. Service was decent, no complaints except they forgot to bill us and we also almost forgot to pay. We ordered Breakfast Platter, Turkey Sandwich, Toast with Butter, Prosecco and Coffee.

This restaurant was the highlight of our San Diego vacay!! I just happened to Google breakfast spots in the area and the Fig Tree Cafe popped up, so we gave it a try. It was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend has been to SD multiple times and he said his breakfast burrito here was the best one he’s ever had in SD! We got the mimosa flight which was top tier. My salmon avocado toast was so fresh and so yummy! We give it 10 stars, and have told so many people to go here if they are in the SD area!! The service is also really good and the atmosphere it was makes this place just the best. It’s open air with little birds flying around, super cute decor, and just a chill vibe.

2 years ago we visited Fig Tree Cafe almost everyday while our stay in San Diego. Now we are returning and it’s still as good as before. Food potions are large. The coffee tastes good.

First time going here - I got the short rib Benedict with the truffle fries which was super good! The ‘Man Candy’ (side of bacon) was yummy & the buttermilk pecan coffee cake was DELICIOUS. The place itself was really cute & I’d go back to try their lunch menu as well.

The short rib eggs Benedict was absolutely amazing. I got it on focaccia and the texture combination was great. Make sure to upgrade your potatoes!!!

Fig Tree Cafe is an amazing brunch gem away from the crazy trail of Garnet in PB. We arrived on a Sunday and there was a minimal wait. We sat outside under a huge tree and had a wonderful brunch. The Spicy Strawberry margarita was amazing and so was the espresso martini. The breakfast burrito was definitely the winner of best entree. The chicken sandwich was more like a slider but was still really good. Thanks!

Ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes and meat loaf hash. Both dishes were amazing! Arrived at 9am on a Saturday and there was no wait. Street parking only, but nabbed a spot right away. Outdoor seating only, but they have the area well enclosed so it wasn’t chilly. Staff was friendly and food came out quickly. I’ll be back!

Really enjoyable spot for breakfast. Great unlimited coffee for $4. The breakfast burrito was my favorite I had while staying in San Diego. They allow puppies, give them water bowls even. It made for a fun, laid back experience.

Visited this place twice, both times my bill ended up being around 30 including tip. I tried their french toast which was loaded with fresh fruits. I also had one of their pastries which was croissant cube with chocolate or something like that and it was served warm and really delicious. Cafe vibe was great and espresso and latte tasted good and had the kick

Beautiful little French creperie/cafe in the heart of the San Diego Gaslamp District. I attended a convention there in October and visited twice in two days because it was so delicious and peaceful! The seasonal oatmilk butter pecan latte was to die for (I ended up ordering it both days), and the pastries and egg croissant sandwich were delicious as well. The employees were efficient, kind, and incredibly helpful. The atmosphere was peaceful and clean - both inside and out. I plan to attend the same conference next year with my husband, and I already have plans to return to this very spot for some of the most delicious food and coffee I've ever had. Highly recommend!

Okay everyone here is a fantastic hidden gem in San Diego. And for those living in Orange County there's one at the Packing House. Parfait Paris took me back to the Parisian eateries I just went to in August, when I visited Paris. This one is a must for the European conosours. The manager Phoebe was delightful, friendly kind and so personable. The staff Ben C. and Ivy were absolutely wonderful, and had such a cute little French accent. The food was timely and incredibly delicious! If you want to go to heaven just for a bit, try Parfeit Paris, you will be sure to have your taste buds tantalized with the most delicious eggs benedict I've had in a very long time. The carrot cake was incomparable yuuuum, and I highly recommend the chocolate desert in my photos, it melts in your mouth. I had the best Dulce de Leche latte I've ever had. I had to finish the brunch with a sweet heavenly treat for later, I took some mochi variety home, that my family and I devoured watching our favorite TV show. If you are anywhere around the San Diego area, you must visit this place, it will transport you to the divine Parisian eateries in France!

While in San Diego, I was searching every morning for a place where I could have a vegetarian-friendly breakfast since I’m Muslim. Parfait was only a 3-minute walk from my hotel, and it quickly became my go-to spot. I ended up visiting more than three times during my week in the city. They honestly have the best croissant I’ve ever had. On two of my visits, I met Phoebe, the girl working there. She carried a soft smile behind her shy and innocent face, and she was incredibly kind, even making the effort to pronounce and remember my name correctly. Thank you for the warm experience you provide, it truly made my mornings in San Diego special.

We had breakfast there this Sunday morning. The brunch menu looks great and you can go full breakfast to light. I did the classic breakfast and it was very well done. Potatoes cooked just right (I’m from Idaho, I know these things). Eggs same. My wife had an almond croissant and says it was wonderful. At 8 am there was no wait and we sat out on the sidewalk patio. Happy to go again.

Parfait Paris! This place was a hit—everything and more. It was quiet, had a nice price, and generous portions for the food. The restaurant was clean and very well-appointed for the gritty Gaslamp neighbourhood. I was looking for a nice, quiet place with good food just before ending a busy travel day and didn’t want to leave the area to find something like this spot on a busy party Friday night in the Gaslamp. Oh, and if you’re wondering, the staff do speak (actual) French!

We ordered crème brûlée, and Evelyn was incredibly kind and welcoming. The torch touch was absolutely incredible.

Super cute cafe in midst the gaslamp quarters. Open early, great for early birds. Food is delicious. Baked goods look to be European standard deliciousness. I highly recommend this place for a great breakfast or a quick coffee to go.

The place was recommended by our hotel to go for coffee. We took our laptops and wanted to get coffee and work there. We got cheesecake and coffee. Interesting, our order did not show up on their screen so they did not make our coffee - rather, they made it for people after us. We commented that maybe it’s because we did not have a number tag/flag on the table. It was actually a system issue, minor, and they came with coffee right away, I’d say he was the manager - super kind, great attitude, professional, and even offered us macaroons for the trouble. Not an issue, but I’d say their service is great! We all miss orders or system does not show them (I realize it, I have a business and where people pay cash, sometimes the orders don’t show in queue). What the company does to mend an issue is truly impressive and we stayed for hours and worked and enjoyed the place! The whole team is wonderful! So are the coffee and the treats. We went there again the following day. The sandwich was amazing, the salmon crepe fantastic, they just really do a top notch job!

I have visited this pastry/ coffee shop several times in San Diego. Pastries are delicious, as are their desserts, food, and drinks. They also have ice cream, which I haven’t tried but assume is just as good of a quality as everything here. Thank you to Carlos for preparing the food. Thanks to all the staff members, Andrew, Dove, Matt and Leon, for such a friendly service and kind hearts! Their opening hours are a treat, too! It was lovely to stumble upon it late in the evening and find out I’ll be able to grab a bite as early as 7am! Happy Holidays, Everyone and Happy New Year!🎄✨

A gem in Coronado ✨ Parfait Paris – Coronado Ferry Landing ✨ This was my first visit to Parfait Paris, and from the moment I walked in I was greeted with warm hospitality. The staff was kind, patient, and helpful in explaining their offerings and provided thoughtful recommendations, which made me feel instantly welcome. I tried the traditional vanilla crème brûlée, a hot honey lavender latte, and picked up a croissant to enjoy later. The crème brûlée was sublime—creamy and delicately sweet, with the perfect crack of caramelized sugar on top. The latte was absolutely exquisite, the honey and lavender balancing beautifully with the espresso. As for the croissant, it looks deliciously flaky and generously sized—I can’t wait to indulge in it. Overall, this was a wonderful first experience, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Parfait Paris is a gem at the Ferry Landing—highly recommended!

When we entered Parfait Paris, the servers Luciana and Andrew greeted us with a warm and friendly smile. They are so nice. The café’s decor is absolutely stunning. We ordered the eggs Benedict, avocado toast, and a Galette Complète crepe. The food was delicious and incredibly fresh. I only wish I had more room to try their croissants!

The place was small and not much seat available to enjoy. It was nice but not clean, floor was dirty with crumbs and stuffs, and also smell not sure where it came from but I did smell something not nice, restroom wasn’t that clean either. I was disappointed with this though. But the food are yum, I tried the famous chocolate dubai and pistachio croissant and it tasted good and crunchy, I also ordered coffee, it was alright. Staffs was Ok so far. Parking was hard to get since it’s a street parking and driving to this place wasn’t nice either, it’s downtown and you can see all the homeless and it’s kind of creepy for me, it almost felt like I am driving to LA downtown hehehe which you know what I mean!

Just drove into San Diego for the first time, waiting to check in the Airbnb down the road, figured I’d get some breakfast and coffee found this place and it was not disappointing at all! The food was delicious, I had the apple fritter pancakes and nitro brew, everything was amazing. The place was quiet and peaceful and the staff was very kind. Definitely try it out.

My family dropped in on our vacation for breakfast. The cafe itself is so cute and the food was great. Our server Maggie was very kind and accommodating, especially with our little one. She also gave us great recommendations for things to do while we’re in town. If we were locals, I’m sure we’d be regulars.

Love Fig Tree PB. My family and I have been coming here for brunch. We love it. Food is consistently good and customer service is always excellent. I hope that never changes. Great customer service makes or breaks it for me. Tobi was our server the last time we came and he was great - friendly, seated us by the heater, gave good feedback and food selections, took our orders on time and brought it on time. Keep up the good work.

I came here for my birthday brunch and we had Toby as our server. He was wonderful and made this the best birthday ever. The short rib Benedict’s were amazing. Highly recommend this spot.

I love a plate full of good breakfast stuff. Fig has good supply of it. In an open air and beach vibe, it’s a great place to enjoy good food and service. My daughter and enjoy it often.

We’re here visiting our son for his birthday and our wedding anniversary. Our son picked the breakfast spot for his b’day. We couldn’t have chosen better. Great food. Great service. The very best vibe to start the birthday off. Thank you Maggie and the staff! You all are terrific!!

Great little restaurant in walking distance of our air bnb. Good vibes and ambiance. Great food. Pet friendly. But we had to ask about the pet menu we saw online when we showed up with our pooch. We also had to ask for water twice for him before getting it. Other than that, it was a pretty good experience. Oh it would be nice for at least a couple of options for kids to eat too. No kids menu.

The only ding is what makes it special, the restaurant is entirely outdoors,but it's covered; similar to a covered patio. It's rather large. It has only 2 bathrooms which made for a long wait on our way out. The servers were helpful and the food was good.

Great brunch spot! Very cute cafe and good ambiance. Tried quite a few brunch dishes and they were all nice, highly recommend the eggs benedict and the fig jam French toast. Would have been a 5 star but they slyly ask to add Avacados to any dish and charge $2.5 for a tiny serving of avocado on the side which is not even specified on the menu, I hate it when places trick people like that. But still everything else was really good.

Got the breakfast burrito. Presentation: color could be more vibrant. Nice CLEAN cut on the burrito. I liked the bacon and steak combination. Potatoes looked a little lonely. Taste: delicious, salsa was good, no complaints. Atmosphere: very millennial could be brighter, trying to hard to get posted on Instagram. Coffee was mid, too much milk not enough coffee.

Nice little place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. very cute and quaint atmosphere with decent food. we ate her twice during our trip because it was close to our hotel and a place my husband liked when he lived here. the first time I got the salmon bagel which I thought was just okay, then we came back because we wanted to try the apple fritter pancakes. we got the sampler with those, lemon ricotta, and fig jam French toast. the apple fritter pancakes weren't as good as I thought they would be but I think I liked the lemon ones the most. they used really fluffy thick bread for the French toast which was really good.

Fig Tree Cafe is a great spot for a delicious meal. The banana Foster’s French toast was absolutely delectable. The big hit at our table, however, were the arugula potatoes—you could smell the truffle oil from across the table! The man candy Bloody Mary is massive and impressive. We also really enjoyed the short rib sandwich; the focaccia bread was tasty and had a great crispy texture. It's a very family and dog-friendly place, which is a huge plus. We sat on the back patio, which was lovely, though it was a little buggy. Fortunately, they have fly fans to help keep them away.

I used to really love this place, especially for the crab sandwich and crab Benedict, but unfortunately, both are no longer on the menu. It feels like the food quality has declined while the prices have increased. On the positive side, the service and ambiance are still great. I ordered the salmon Benedict with avocado added for an extra charge, and without a drink, the total came to about $27, which seems a bit overpriced for such a disappointing brunch.

Loved the service and atmosphere. Definitely has an outdoor patio vibe. Complete with wobbly tables pieced together surroundings. My friend had the French toast and raved about it. I had the Short Rib Benedict and it was good. I’ve been here before and my guests really love this place. Definitely worth going to again.

Small 10 minute wait wasn't bad. Ordered the food and it came quickly. Wife got salmon Benedict and she said "It was very good and I liked it a lot." I got the pancakes with 2 eggs and bacon. Eggs and bacon and pancakes were exactly what you'd expect but not enough butter or syrup.

This location is very busy for brunch. We waited about 30-40 minutes to be seated. They have plenty of seating and it's in a semi enclosed space so it doesn't feel like you're just completely outdoors. The food is delicious and the drinks are great! The regular mimosa is pretty good, with thin bubbles. I ordered a mimosa flight as well but the regular mimosa was better than all the ones in the flight.

Mixed feelings here. The surrounding area smells like urine & weed, making it almost a torture to sit on their patio. Pitty… The service is extremely slow - people here are clearly not in a rush lol but at least very friendly. But still overpriced for what you get. The coffee tasted great - and so did the Crepes (to my surprise). Can recommend when nearby looking for a coffee

Nice atmosphere, however staff is slow, we had to wait for a single crepe over 30 minutes (there were two other customers at the store only) and they didn't make the order right. Some beverages and a strawberry sorbet were the only vegan options.

The cafe has an amazing atmosphere. You can tell they put real thought and taste into creating it. It is a cozy and beautiful place, especially when the big windows are open. The desserts here are absolutely delicious and the breakfast is really hearty. It is a perfect spot for an inspiring start to the day or a romantic date. I would just make the service a little more positive or friendly, maybe more like the vibe you get in France, rather than how it feels now.

I ordered the simplest items on the menu... grilled cheese, tomato soup. Just for fun I got a side of bacon and a vanilla cold brew. The latter two items were the best of the lot. Grilled cheese was cold, bread not toasted and cheese dozed all out into the container. The tomato soup had potential but was tinged with curry or some similar spice that was a bit off-putting. Employees were nice and the space looks like it has a fun vibe. Perhaps eat in is a better idea here. Oh, and it cost $32!!!

3.5⭐️ Another pretty Breakfast spot! We wanted to find a good breakfast place, we are never awake for breakfast, so this is when I really read/rely on people's Google reviews for help. They had great reviews, and what looked like a giant Hot Chocolate. I was sold. I got a hot chocolate, and a breakfast sausage sandwich with avocado. Loved my hot chocolate, and the sandwich was good, average. My husband got the meatloaf hash, and he said it was not super flavorful, but he felt like he ate healthy. I loved the way the restaurant was decorated. I can see why this is a good brunch place. If you are in the PB area, I would recommend it for an appetizer, beverage, and pictures.

Fig tree is a cute little restaurant. The food was okay, the potato’s were dry and the eggs Benedict were good but nothing extraordinary. Our server was pretty bad, she kept forgetting about refilling our drinks and quite frankly, she wasn’t very nice. The atmosphere It’s really cute!

This place has a nice vibe! It feels like you’re eating in a treehouse with a bar. The focaccia bread was disappointing and the ribs on the eggs Benedict had no flavor. It was still a great experience and people should try this place at least once when they are San Diego!

Not at all what I expected. Servers don’t look happy. They would talk to each other more than help the customers. Food is nothing special. Will not return. Next door has better food and service at Leilani‘s.

I ordered a galette to go as well as a latte and macarons. While nothing tasted particularly bad, I was very confused and frustrated to cut a piece off of my galette that was drowning in bechamel sauce to discover that it did not contain a crepe, but instead two slices of bread. I don't know if they thought I was stupid and didn't know what a galette was or they couldn't be bothered to tell me they were making a substitution, but I was very angry and had no time to deal with it due to my flight leaving soon.

I took a visiting friend there for brunch, which it was my 1st time as well. The service was pretty bad! It took quite a while for a server to get to our table initially, then after taking our drink order, they completely forgot about my drink.. I had to ask for it multiple times, which each time they would forget once again. Now the food.. They delivered my food 5 minutes before my friend's food, and when hers was finally delivered, it wasn't what she ordered. In general, the place has a very nice, cute vibe, the wait staff are horrendous, food is just so-so. The music was also blaring so loud that you couldn't have a proper conversation. Their only plus was their Bloody Mary's, if you could even get one delivered....

Ordered our food to go, which was French toast with strawberries and cream + syrup and butter, buttermilk pancakes with strawberries and cream + syrup and butter, eggs, bacon, and a latte and hot cocoa. Not only did we not receive the strawberries and cream OR syrup and butter for one of the orders, but we didn’t receive the eggs or the bacon either AND the cream that came with the other order was so runny is was still just whipping cream. Absolutely nothing about it was solid. Plus our food was cold. Not even a little warm to the touch, straight cold (not late picking it up at all or having a long transport so there’s no excuse to why it’s this cold). I used to really like ordering from here but I will never ever come here or order from here again. Don’t get me wrong, when they put effort into it, it’s really good, but I can’t justify going here again. This is the second time they messed up my to go order but this time it’s far beyond finding any value in coming back. Hope they don’t do this again to someone else.

These people have no idea what the hell they are doing. I asked for a latte and I was the only one in the building besides two employees, and it took 20 minutes to make it and made me late. I used to be a barista and I understand if it’s low staff and high energy but I don’t even think I ever see anyone ever doing their job here and I’m in almost every day. The drinks are crap, the prices are outrageous, and the employees treat you like an inconvenience. Today was the last straw.
