Opiniones de In-N-Out Burger San Francisco
Finally I got to try the In-N-Out cheeseburger and I was not disappointed. Perhaps the best chain burger I've ever had. Place was chaotic but service was pretty good and also pretty fast.
Visited December 16, 2025 Five stars without hesitation. We are heading out tomorrow on a 17 day cruise to Hawaii and flew into San Francisco a day early to settle in and enjoy the city. My original plan for lunch was Chinese food, but I opened my big mouth and told my kids a story from 2020. When we were in LA on our way to Hawaii back then, we stopped at In N Out. My husband and I thought our older daughter, who was not even two at the time, would share the burger with us. Instead she ate the entire thing herself and my husband had to go get another one. 😆 That story completely sealed our fate. My older daughter refused anything but In N Out, so from the Marriott Marquis where we are staying, we hopped on the cable car and rode all the way there. The place was absolutely packed, but the energy was great and the line moved efficiently. Despite how busy it was, the staff remained friendly, calm, and welcoming, and we were lucky enough to manage getting a table. A special shout out to Dino who was bussing tables. He was incredibly attentive and kind. He noticed our two little girls right away and surprised them with kids activity books, which completely made their day. He checked on us several times, brought extra napkins, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. That level of genuine care really stood out. For the girls, we ordered two Double Doubles with just cheese, cheese fries, and chocolate milkshakes. For my husband and me, we ordered two Double Doubles with added chilies and grilled onions along with Animal Fries. We made our lemon up ourselves and it was so fresh and so good. Every single bite was delicious and absolutely worth the trip. The food was hot, fresh, and exactly as remembered, maybe even better. After eating, we took the cable car straight back to the hotel and everyone promptly passed out. Waking up at 1 am was no fun, but this experience was completely worth it and gave us such a fun family memory right before our cruise. The only small hiccup was entirely on us. We forgot hand sanitizer and the restaurant did not have any available. My six year old had basically touched everything on the cable car 😆 so my husband walked across the street to buy some and paid six dollars for a tiny bottle that would normally cost a dollar elsewhere. Oh well 😆😆 Overall, the food, the service, and the kindness of the staff made this an easy five star experience. Thank you to Dino and the entire team for such a memorable and welcoming visit. We loved every single moment and every bite.
Loved my first ever visit, specifically at their Fisherman's Wharf branch in San Francisco, CA. Although their menu was not very comprehensive, the food served were great-tasting and exceeded my expectations. The service crew were also very pleasant. One thing to note, though, is that it can be very packed at certain hours of the day and may be difficult to find seats. Overall, I highly recommend this place to those craving burgers and fries, and milkshake on the side.
It was very crowed when we were there at around 2:30pm. There were no empty seats. Food was good but not the best, I find it overrated.
I got the double double, and my brothers got the 3 x 3 (but they said they regret not getting the 4 x 4). The burgers tasted yummy but the line was pretty insane. Trying to find a seat was even more insane. I went here since I was near the area but if you have another in-n-out available, I'd recommend going to the different branch. It's always busy and crowded here so it might feel overwhelming! I remember coming here in 2017 and they had outdoor seating available but I guess they got rid of that. I'm personally not a big fan of the fries here but the animal sauce with the burger is what I love the most!
Stopped by the In-N-Out at Pier 39 while visiting San Francisco. It was pretty packed, but the line moved along fairly quickly considering how busy it was. Took a little while to get my food, but honestly not bad for how many people were there. The food was, as always, solid—classic In-N-Out quality. Finding a seat took a bit, but once I did, I enjoyed my meal. Overall, a good experience and I’d definitely come back next time I’m in the area.
One of the best In-N-Out locations in California! The food comes out fresh, the service is quick, and everything is consistently tasty. It’s also a perfect option if you’re walking around Pier 39 and want something reliable and delicious. Definitely worth a stop! However, it can feel a bit chaotic because there are so many people, especially during peak hours. Still totally worth the stop!
It seems that in the great state of California, one cannot speak of cuisine without mentioning a fabled establishment In-N-Out Burger. My partner insisted it was an experience one must have, a culinary rite of passage, a sacred tradition. So, on a lazy afternoon, we decided to indulge this local enthusiasm. The place positively brimming with life, a bustling crowd united by their devotion to burgers and the faint scent of grilled promise. Clearly, this was no ordinary eatery; it was a cult favourite. I wouldn’t dare compare it to the gourmet creations of fine restaurants, where one must decipher menus and pay for artistic interpretation and to be honest that wouldn’t be a fair at all. For fast food, it was most commendable. The flavor was honest, the texture agreeable and it does sit in the upper level of fast food burger hierarchy. It was a charmingly sincere experience and I see the point my partner was trying to make.
This was the first thing I wanted to try coming all the way from MI and being in the area I had to see if it was worth the hype!!! I enjoyed the toasted bun and seasoned meat. I think I needed a little more of their sauce and some ketchup to make it really hit the spot though! Glad I finally got to sink my teeth into this burger. The parking lot at this location was super packed and crowded with lots of large SUVs being impatient trying to get around all the smaller vehicles
Hope you liked it here too Ellie! First off going to in and out then comparing it to other burger joints is awesome! The food is better than expected but the fries are on another level! Secondly the lighting is great here too, took a banger photo! Third is its filling, unlike the new McDonald’s. In conclusion this place is amazing! I found a ketchup packet in my suitcase and I believe it belongs to here, I guess I can't get enough of this place!
2025: Went here twice and both times were packed to the rafters. The line moves quickly and tables clear one at a time. It seems the popularity is based on loyalty and/or mere curiosity. Everyone recommends the "Animal Style" burger, so I will too. I can also recommend to not get the raw onion slice (biggest mistake). Overall, one of the best value burgers out there currently, chips had a lot of defects, as pictured. ****
Maybe I expected too much. Cheese burger was average and chips were not crispy at all, although I ordered no salt on chips. (usually they fry chips fresh for no salt, so I could get crispy hot chips, but not in here) Animal style chips would be a better choice as they are already soggy. Staff constantly refilled drinks and condiments, and did cleaning. Thanks to that, the restaurant stayed clean even with a full of people coming in and out.
The must-try fast-food spot on the west coast. I didn't get any secret menu items, but it was quite good nonetheless. Not my all-time favourite burger, but I really liked the crispy buns, and the burger composition is pretty flawless. It's your quintessential fast-food burger. The neapolitan shake was good too, though shakes are too much for me. The place gets quite crowded and it takes a while to get your food. Otherwise, worth trying if you've never had it before or if it's less busy (which it might always be)
Coming from New England we had to see what the hype was all about. Was it good, yes. Was it great, sadly no. Maybe it was the busy location that brought the quality down, maybe. The double burger was good. The fries were cold. Would I go back, probably. I wouldn't flock to it purposely though.
Given how prevalent in-n-out is in pop culture, it was high on my list to try in California. I couldn’t eat their meat due to my dietary restrictions, so I ordered a grilled cheese (animal style) as an alternative. Of course, I also ordered animal style fries on the side. Overall, this didn’t live up to the hype. If I hadn’t ordered these items animal style, I likely would have ranked this a 1. The sauce and caramelized onions elevated the grilled cheese and fries, and added depth and sweetness to the dish. However, barely any was added. The bites that had the onions and sauce were delicious, but the rest were quite subpar. If they used a heavier hand with the onions and sauce, I could have ranked this higher. If you’re able to eat the beef, the patties would likely elevate the sandwich as well. P.s. service was phenomenal. Staff were very friendly and seemed to be having fun amongst themselves which was nice to see. It was extremely busy but orders were taken and made very efficiently. Overall, this is worth a try to scratch the itch. I likely won’t be dying to try it again though.
Incredibly overhyped... Comparable to Wendy's. Nothing compared to Super Duper Burgers. This is just a normal fast food joint which people are incredibly loyal to for some reason. I don't recommend the animal style fries, they are better without all the added stuff on top, but still not good. The cheddar in the burger feels like the same ones in a cheesy cheddarburger from Wendy's, not high quality and gets stuck to the sides and roof of your mouth. Meat was subpar... I don't know man this place is not it and definitely not worth the hype at all. Lemonade was good tho.
