Me and my wife traveled 100 miles to eat here. All of our other Carl's Jr all closed around us and couldn't shake the feeling of never having another Carl's Jr burger so i bought 8 with a side of waffle fries and a large dr pepper. With help from our friend Mary Jane we were able to have the best feast ever. Great staff excellent cook i love you Carl's Jr Rest in peace forever 😭❤️

They closed all the Carl's Jr stores in Houston, so I had to drive 40 miles to get here. . But when you want a double western bacon cheeseburger... nothing else will satisfy that craving. Tried their jalapeño poppers and was pleasantly surprised. I'll definitely be back. Until they bring C.J. back to Houston anyway

It's just as good as I remember. Most of the Carl's Jr. restaurants around my area closed, so it rare I get to have it. This one was perfect. The staff was very friendly. The food was outstanding. The burger was very flavorful and the charbroil always gjves it a nice smokiness. The fries were fresh and crispy, not too salty. I will make sure to stop here anytime I can.

I’m from Cali and I live in San Antonio. I was on my way to Houston to see my mom in the ER and I saw Carls Jr!!! It’s so rare and there aren’t many out here so I was so excited. I walk in but lightning had taken them out. BB saw my sad face as I walked out and went in the back and made me what I wanted. I left cash for her and she honestly just made my whole day. Praying the rest of my day goes well, but I’m so grateful for this simple act of kindness as I head to the emergency room with so many unknowns. Thank you, BB. Promote now! She needs a raise! This is the type of service that brings customers back.

Been going to Carl's for over 50 years. So I know what to expect ! This Carl's did not let me down. I ordered my usual.... Super Star with cheese no onions. (Although the don't call it a Super Star anymore, now it's a double Famous Star). The burger was perfect. The fries with the skin on were perfectly fried and seasoned. I know Carl's. This was delicious! And kept up my memories from junior high in California.

Eat here at your own risk!!!! I should obtain a lawyer these people cooking here will purposely put stuff on you sandwich that should not be…what is that crap This is absolutely not what I get at other locations on the same sandwich…… I am pissed and you can bet are going to raise heck

I am not sure why I keep trying Carls Jr. in Texas. It is not the same place I grew up with in Anaheim CA. I'm not sure if the food aits around longer, or the ingredients available here aren't as high quality, or eating at a truck stop is generally inviting a stomach bug or straight up dysentery. Either way, I'm probably going to hold off on any locations in this chain until I'm back in so-cal. Oh. I had a kids cheeseburger, my wife had a western bacon and fries. Even the soda fountain was busted and didn't have enough syrup to make the soda right.

I'm sorry but this employee came from outside the business and didn't was his hands when he returned as well he also scratched under his armpits as well without washing his hands before handling food. This was on 1/22/26. I'm very discussed and will not be eating my food. I was in a rush to even ask for the manager. Time frame 7:25-7:39 pm

Hate to give them two stars as it's probably managerial problems, but there's a HUGE self standing sign as you walk in that says "Join Rewards, Buy One Sandwich Get One Free". In today's economy that's terrific, esp. for truck drivers who frequent the TA where this place is located. I asked about the rewards and was told " no we don't do that here". I pointed to the large sign 10 feet away and he just said. No. Then I was told " it's an old sign". Are you kidding me Carl's Jr.?? You should be honest in advertisements and this is a blatant LIE. The two guys working were great, but really overworked. They offered my service dog water which was really thoughtful too. The food was good, got hubby the El Diablo which he enjoyed but I had to buy an additional sandwich which I didn't think I would have to. Take the bloody sign down management and stop lying to customers please. This is a typical dining room and seemed clean, but didn't look too close as I had to get take out.

It's absurd to charge $0.59 for just three pickles. That's almost $0.20 per pickle! It's clear you're overcharging customers, and you know it. You've lost a customer for life over this issue, which probably costs you just one cent.

The people at this store seem to never know what is going on. They don't answer the drive-thru, no sodas, no credit cards. 20 minutes in a store I only ordered 2burgers, not even combos! When I finally got my order, he said "what's your name, your order is ready. Don't know if I'll be back, which is sad seeing we love these burgers

Fries didn't look edible??? They toast the sourdough bread I requested for my burger. Only 2 people working. I've had better experience and food at different Carl's Jr restaurants. Oh and no breakfast because no one to work in morning.

I order the double 1/3 angus cheese burger combo( $15.90) meal with upgraded jalapeños and Cris cut fries. The burger was very plain. The bun was semi hard like it was dried out. The lettuce was far from fresh and green. The lettuce was mostly white and bitter. After I receive my cup to go fill up, I was then greeted with a completely broken fountain machine and had to go to the other area of the truck stop to fill my drink. There were post it notes on the menus board covering up the “New items”. The Lobby was littered debris and trash through out. Trash cans in the lobby were over flowing with trash. The two gentlemen behind the counter were truly trying their best, but felt like there were many obstacles outside of their control.

Keep driving, there are better options just a little down the road. We waited forever for counter service, then place was not clean, the soda machines had mold and other accumulation on them and did not supply ice (the kid that worked there brought some out). We finally got out burgers and they were burnt - not char broiled but actual crispy carbon.

Are you serious, what kind of fast food burger joint closes it's doors at 6pm, but yet serves burgers for breakfast and not dinner? Yep, that would be the disgusting chain of Carl's Jr !!! Never thought I would agree with others I've heard saying this, but yes, it is true, McDonald's, unfortunately has way more class and better food. Let's go there now, at least they're open !!!

It took 5 minutes for someone to come out then for some reason it took 20 plus minutes to get food ordered and cooked and in my hand I got here at 8:13 it’s 8:37 and they are just now wrapping up this is the worst food / truck stop experience ever

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I visited this location and, unfortunately, I have to say that out of all the restaurants in this chain I’ve visited over the past five years, this was by far the worst experience. I’m a long-haul truck driver and a loyal customer of this brand — I’ve eaten at their locations all across the country. This has always been my go-to place for a good and reliable meal. But not this time. A young man with long blond hair, who I later found out was the shift manager, was extremely rude and unprofessional. He forgot to add the bacon I specifically ordered and paid for on my burger. When I returned to address the issue, he reacted in a completely inappropriate manner — he snatched the bag with my burger right out of my hands. This incident was captured on video. If anyone from the management team or those responsible for quality control is reading this, I sincerely hope you take this situation seriously. Such behavior, especially from a shift manager, is absolutely unacceptable. It not only ruins the experience at this location but also damages the reputation of the entire brand. I’m giving one star, though this visit honestly doesn’t even deserve that. It’s deeply disappointing to see my favorite restaurant hire employees who treat customers this way.

I keep giving this location chances because I genuinely like Carl's Jr. The food is good when you can actually manage to order some. But this place has fumbled every single visit, and I'm done. First visit last year: I'm sitting in the drive-thru line and nobody bothered to post a sign or let customers know the speaker was broken. No cone blocking the lane, no notice, nothing. I only found out when the cashier at the window rudely told me I needed to come to the window to order. How exactly was I supposed to know that? A piece of paper and some tape would have solved this. Second visit: I'm in line ready to pay and the person up front announces they're only taking cash. Again, no sign posted anywhere. No heads-up before I waited in line. Just a surprise at the register. Today: I walked in to an empty counter. Zero customers in line. The cashier was having a personal conversation with another employee instead of taking orders. Two people in the back working on one meal. I stood there for a solid five minutes. Everyone saw me. Not a single person said "be right with you" or acknowledged me in any way. I finally just walked out. Three visits. Three completely avoidable problems. Every single one comes down to the same issue: this location does not communicate with its customers and the staff does not seem to care whether you're there or not. Basic signage, basic acknowledgment, basic customer service. None of it is happening here. I like the brand. I like the food. But I won't be back to this location.

Stopped in at the TA Truck Stop for a shower. Wanted some breakfast at 8:30 am in the morning. Stood upfront for 10 minutes. Then was told!!!!! We don’t open until 9 am. Why the hell do you not open until 9am when on the website it says 6am. This happened last time we were here. The Employees at the fast food don’t care about customers. Only talking on their phones and looking at you in disgust. Not a way to run a business. Avoid this place like the plague.

We came to the store number #270. Carl Jr in Sealy Tx. 77474. There were 25 of us and all ordered with who identified herself as the manager Our bill was over $300. The fries came out at least 15 mins before the burgers and when inquiring about how the burgers would come the manager rudely said they would come out as they came out. Then things became utter chaos with our burgers coming out at all. People’s food was cold which was ironic for as long of a wait as we had and all other customers were told they would not be served for at least 20 minutes until the next shift came in. At least 5 people had to leave because the manager basically said they could not be served. We got to the restaurant at 1:14pm and at 2:12pm people still had not been served in our group while sitting with cold sides. This is the rudest manager I have ever encountered, with the worst customer service ever!! This manager was so interested in getting off than being courteous to customers. Once I was given my burger I had to put it in the rest stop microwave attached to the Carl’s Jr. I’m sad to know that your establishment has a store manager like this. The store is dirty, we had to ask for the tables to be wiped.

Worst carls I’ve ever been, the little guy that took my order ( Colton) seems like he just hates his job maybe he should work somewhere else. He has awful service and for a travel center that gets travelers should be better. If you’re traveling do not eat here I highly recommend somewhere else
