Dickey's Barbecue Express

First time back to this one. Each is run differently so it's a gamble. This one is under new management since the last time I went and it is many times better. Almost perfect. The people inside were wonderful and friendly. They will get more business from me now.

The service was so good! Staff was super friendly and had patience with me as I made up my mind. Food was hot and delicious. All drinks were 89 cents

It was nice to be greeted upon entering your location. The food was great & the customer service was even better. Thanks for recommending the burnt ends. They were really good.

Always great food! Prices a bit higher than I prefer but at least itsi not just another burger. Great jalapeno cheddar sausage, sauce and sides!

Great place for a pulled pork sandwich. The buns where very buttery and savory. Didn't take any pics because I forgot. But it's good as another Dickies.

The drive through is around the back and easy to overlook. The team member who took and fulfilled the order at the large drive through window was very nice and helpful. We had a two plate meal with chicken and sliced brisket that was good and felt like a good value. It comes with two sides, but a baked potato counted as two sides. It was packed well and came with plastic silverware. The drive through had a sign that said they do not accept digital coupons.

This Dickeys just recently re-opened after a remodel and it is better than ever. I had the brisket and it was tender and flavorful. I would highly recommend! Pro Tip: Ask them about their secret menu...

Looking for a bbq sandwich near me in a city I’m not familiar with. Dickeys came up at the top of the list. A bit disappointed upon arrival to a gas station, but after tasting the pulled pork, bbq beans & banana pudding, I knew I’d be back for the food, not the ambiance. Absolutely heaven! They had cole slaw, broccoli salad, mashed potatoes & fries as well as brisket & pork. I found the prices to be very reasonable also! Yum!

Stopped to order take out went to pay and my order was ready when i got back to pick up. He was cutting up the meat so I know it was fresh, potatoe was huge, the right amount of sour cream chives and the brisket was soooo good. Food wasn't stopped together, was perfect. Looking for a bbq sandwich near me in a city I’m not familiar with. Dickeys came up at the top of the list. A bit disappointed upon arrival to a gas station, but after tasting the pulled pork, bbq beans & banana pudding, I knew I’d be back for the food, not the ambiance. Absolutely heaven! They had cole slaw, broccoli salad, mashed potatoes & fries as well as brisket & pork. I found the prices to be very reasonable also! Yum!

Don’t buy those brisket fries! They don’t taste like any barbecue they make! Bad idea! Will never get it again

This is a good spot for a quick meal. They have a drive thru and everything. The chopped beef sandwich was excellent too.

I ordered a meal and the man at the counter sent me to the front of the convenience store to pay while he prepared my food. I paid with a credit card but when I returned to the Dickey’s counter to pick up my food, the man at the counter demanded that I give him my receipt. I handed it to him and he mumbled something and then told me to wait right there. I had no idea what was going on but stood there for about five more minutes. I finally went up to the front of the convenience store and heard the man from Dickey’s saying something about two dollars. The cashier then told me that the man from the Dickey’s counter instructed him to charge me an additional $4. The cashier was very apologetic as he charged my card for the additional $4 and said he made a mistake. But the man from Dickey’s just walked off. It was about 30 minutes before closing time and I was both annoyed, baffled and in a hurry. I love Dickey’s and have used their catering service many times for large business lunches. I’ll go back to the other Dickey’s locations. But will never go back to the location in The Colony nor will I ever use that store for catering. The man at the Dickey’s counter was incredibly rude and thought nothing of causing a scene and holding up a customer over $4. My food was also cold when I got home due to the delay.

The food was bland and flavorless. I couldn’t help but wonder why everyone liked it but me. No hate tho. It was an ok ish meal.

Im not personally a fan of "chain" restaurant barbeque, I feel like bbq is something that should be cooked slow and right and have pride attached to it

Gas station barbecue might be good for someone looking for a quick bite to eat but unfortunately this is not the same experience or the same quality as a Dickies restaurant. Don't expect any rolls or extras as they will only give out the minimal.

This Dickeys is always a disappointing experience. Its barely above gas-station food because it is legitimately part of a gas station. In Texas you have a BBQ location ever other mile, keep driving and only eat here if you are drunk, or don't want a snickers (available behind you in the gas-station)

It's was a nasty place. The floors the restrooms. Also I ordered a 1 meat place of ribs.when I was paying for it they charge me 19.00 for just the 1 meat plate.I asked why it was Soo much he said cause we don't have a one meat (ribs) plate and I said you didn't tell me that when I ordered a 1 meat plate and then he just walks away from me. Needless to say I will not be returning

$29 for two poor-quality sandwiches and two medium sides? Something has changed, the meat was very fatty, not chopped well and unpleasant. I won't be back.

Stay clear from gas station restaurants. I really enjoy Dickey's BBQ but none of the sides are kept fresh at this location. Everything tasted old. Huge waste of money.

Just went in here and got a rib dinner, they are charging 15 bucks and give you 4 small ribs. The side of Mac and cheese was like 5 bites....total rip off

Worst barbecue I ever got. Don't go to this place. Food was cold and old. Avoid this place by all means.

Food is decent considering it's a gas station location, but customer service is terrible. I went to this location while visiting family in town and ordered dinner to go. Things seemed a little odd with the credit card transaction, but I let it go at the time. My mistake. Found out later that I was charged for an extra order. I have two transactions on my debit card. Repeated calls to the phone number posted here and on the Dickey's web site for this location result in a busy signal. Unable to get anybody to ever answer the phone. Tried to resolve through Dickey's customer service, but the store/manager has been non-responsive to them as well. Resorting to contacting my bank to dispute the transaction. This will be my last visit to this Dickey's location. Buyer beware.

This location appears to be PERMANENTLY CLOSED. The phone rings and rings but no one answers. Location is now a Mexican food restaurant. Website is still taking orders and no one is responding from Dickey's corporate about this or providing a refund.

My first and last visit to Dickey's. This was not "barbecue." I had brisket, which had no seasoning and no smoke flavor. It was just cooked or boiled and served with a bad sauce. The sides were just as bad. (potato salad was too sweet and the mac and cheese was overly salty) Overall rating, "HORRIBLE." Will never go back.

Ordered wings and a salad today. The wings were dried out and hard. The salad was only lettuce. It was a total waste of my money. I wouldn't recommend ordering from them.

My son received a coupon as well and we went to use his coupon on Saturday just to be told we are not able to use it because they don't accept the coupon. I stated I just used it here on Friday. I was unable to get my son the free sandwich here. There were hundreds of people who received this coupon. If you have one don't go here!!!!!
