Das Pil Pil, was wir als Ersatz ausgewählt hatten, war sehr lecker, obwohl wir uns eigentlich auf ein english breakfast gefreut hatten.

Do not miss this little gem, the food was Amazing! Service was personal and friendly. The chef and owner came over to speak with us. We will be returning within the week.

Gareth serves beautiful freshly cooked food that when they are busy can feel slow but is more than worth the wait. I have had many of their generous dishes and have never been disappointed.

Have been a few times in the evening and had Tapas and also eaten of the main menu everything has been great service is excellent and atmosphere has always been nice with a great mix of locals and tourists.

Thank you for yet another contribution to the village! Now we have a great variation of bars and restaurants in Torrox. Here a great mix of traditional Spanish and something different. And excellent service with a smile. See you later 😀

Sehr gutes Restaurant mit super leckerem Essen! Die Gastgeber sind auch super freundlich und sprechend einwandfrei Englisch. Die Tapas und die Eistees haben mega geschmeckt.

Da unser Kind auf dem Vorplatz unbedingt spielen wollte, brachte man uns kurzerhand den Kaffee direkt dorthin - außerhalb des Restaurants oder der Außentische. Ich fand das absolut großartig! Vielen Dank!

Sitio muy agradable en una plaza muy bonita adornada con paraguas de colores . Tiene una buena carta de cócteles. Sitio recomendable para tomar un cóctel y unos quesos .

Heerlijk ontbeten hier. Na wat keuzestress besloten van alles wat te nemen. Echt heerlijk. De yoghurt met granola is zo lekker. De toast avocado met bacon heerlijk en de wafels met fruit een ware traktatie. Genieten hier!

Fantastic food and location...we had a gorgeous brunch sitting in the sun! Lovely staff especially our waiter from Argentina who was so friendly! Actually the reason we visited Torrox was to see the umbrellas in the plaza but unfortunately they weren't out... though walking round the lovely village and eating in Gareth's cafe definitely made the journey worthwhile!

Abbiamo cenato da Gareth per ben 3 volte ed ogni volta siamo rimasti piu che soddisfatti di quello che abbiamo abbiamo mangiato. Il chili con carne era strepitoso (piccante al punto giusto), mia figlia di 6 anni ha adorato le loro tapas ed in particolare i popcorn chicken. Mi sento di consigliare a tutti di provarlo. Nota di merito per la cameriera Carolina che oltre ad essere un ottima cameriera (sempre sorridente e gentile) è anche una bravissima fotografa.

Food is excellent. Outdoor seating in the town square. Service is good and super friendly. I'm a big fan of the breakfast sandwiches.

Fantastic food, brilliant staff and great atmosphere. We have never had a disappointing meal here and I recently had a private party at Gareth's, and everything was outstanding from the food to the drinks and the staff. All of the guests had a brilliant time. There are so many good places to eat and drink in the Pueblo, and this is certainly one of them.

Just got back from Gareth's Restaurant today. My findings are. Food top quality, way above average. I had the Chicken Thai red curry. Best I've had since Bangkok. The other thing I liked was sitting out in the Square is just delightful . . Will be happy to recommend to everyone 👍

My partner and I visited Gareth’s Bar in March 2024. We highly recommend going there. Gareth, Steve and Caroline were absolutely awesome people, helpful and knowledgeable of the area, places to visit while we were there. The food was “OMG AMAZING!!” absolutely delicious! I would go as far as to say it’s the best meal we’ve ever had in Spain ☺️ If you’re staying in Torrox, do pop in there 🍻☕️🍱 Mike and Tasha

This hideaway restaurant was a great find for a modern breakfast where we enjoyed smashed avocado, topped with a perfectly cooked poached egg and a side of bacon. All enjoyed on the terrace as we took in the beautiful views.

Great to see the business being a success. Mini Breakfast and Kippers / Scrambled egg for breakfast - lovingly prepared and presented. Generous portions - the belly buster may have finished me off so early on the day! Will return for sure.

The cafe is in a lovely position with tables in the square. The food is good but the service is very slow. The drinks came quite quickly but the breakfasts took around 50 minutes to arrive from ordering for 4 people. This is the second time we have had to wait a long time for food. Also could you update your hours on Google as we called on Sunday just after 6 and you were already closed.

La camarera muy amable. Es cierto que había demasiadas mesas para una persona. Desayuno para dos, 7 euros (café, batido chocolate y dos pulguitas).

A nice little terrace offering brunch, tapas, drinks and smoothies. The menu also offered UK foods like crumpets, teabuns, English breakfasts etc. We arrived saturday morning at a moment when the place was not staffed sufficiently with one waiter having to tend to guests, food and clean up. The food was ok, but due to the staffing situation we had to wait quite some time and we recieved cold crupets and eggs benedict. The waiter was very friendly and apollegized for the situation explaining that they were taken by surprice that morning. Overall an ok expirience and a nice place to fisk up for a quick bite!

Mere en engelsk pub end et tapas sted. Flinke folk, men maden var et læs friture - og ikke hvad menukortet lovede. Vi fik afslag i prisen fordi de indbagte rejer var rå indeni. Vi kommer ikke igen.

Eventually we got served, by the time we got to order we were past eating food and just had tea/coffee Waitress was run off her feet while the owners seemed to be chilling indoors. Piles of dirty crockery inside the venue. Wouldnt bother going again, prefer the other cafes on the square, much quicker service?

Phoned early in the day to ask if they would show football & horse racing during the afternoon. I was told 'Yeah, no problem' and to come and watch it later. I took the time and effort to arrive on a bus to be told there is only one TV working and it's first come first serve (with customers already in the bar). So essentially I wasn't going to watch anything I was promised. A totally wasted journey for me. They happily took my money for a coffee though. Terrible management, customer service and a customer lost + a bad review. If you say you're going to do something, then at least follow it through and stay true to your word.

Schöner Platz, Essen grauenhaft, ausser der Burger war ok. Haben Tapas bestellt, alle, die auf der Karte standen - hatte mit spanischen Tapas nichts zu tun. Fritierte Frühlingsrolle mit Sojasoße, Ravioli mit Pesto, harte Chorizo, eingelegte Sardellen u..ä. Wir kommen bestimmt nicht nochmal!

La plaza preciosa y un lugar espectacular. De la cafetería solo destacar la buena actuación de la chica que nos atendió. El desayuno muy mal...después de servirnos el café, como 20 minutos después nos mienten diciendo que el pan que habíamos pedido no había y nos ponen otro duro y muchísimo más pequeño. Precios desorbitados en relación a la calidad. Bocadillo solicitado de York y queso, y en su lugar nos traen una especie de embutido cortado a trozos con las manos por no decir que estaba mordido. Servido casi una hora después de haber traído el café. Únicamente había tres mesas....mal trato del dueño del local que se excusa en decir que es un bar para extranjeros....
