The food is good, but it's very expensive. I recommend the chocolate shake.
This is the BEST SPOT for Burgers! Every bite was Delicious. Great Service. Thank you.
Who doesn't want to travel back in time and enjoy some good food. This place will give you that experience.
Smells Amazing and the food looks sooo good when your hungry lol. But really nice service throughout our visit oh yeah did i mention this is at magic mountain🤔
Chicken and fries are good. Kids haven't complained over 3 times eating it in recent days. Tables and counters could be wiped down more frequently, given the amount of spills of soda and food.
Good meal when you’re hungry 😋 There are seating places as well and there are shades!!! I personally think dine in is way better here rather than online pickups. There were two workers in the front receiving orders, so waiting line was long. But overall, the fries were good and I’m satisfied. 🍟 I ordered two double burger meals and the one day refillable cup with coke! It cost me 68 dollars in total. It’s expensive but worth it here I guess.
Johnny Rockets: A Must-Try at Six Flags Magic Mountain I think this fast-food restaurant is one of the most worth-it places to eat! The burger, made with Angus beef, is absolutely delicious. The onion rings are crispy and perfectly cooked! However, the fries didn’t quite meet my expectations. ☹️ The day before, my 10-year-old daughter tried Shake Shack’s Truffle Burger and rated it a 9. But for Johnny Rockets, she gave it a perfect 10! If you’re at Six Flags Magic Mountain, don’t compromise—make sure to visit Johnny Rockets!
I had a great lunch here. Staff was friendly and helpful as well. Brought out a party of 6 and they attend us quick status. It was around 1 in the afternoon so I was expecting it to be full of people but not really. Burger was awesome along with the regular fries.
Great food and awesome milkshakes. Was a little slow even though there was no one else in line.
It's ok, burger could have more flavor, shakes are good though.
The cashier was lit not letting me get my refill xus she tought i stole the cup
Good food but I deducted one star because their onion rings was hard don't get the rings.
Very limited menu, just a few choices. Basically single or double burgers and/or chicken strips. Either way we enjoyed the food. This was a very safe choice.
Met Jack Black here literally so cool. Also the impossible burger has cheese so be aware of that and pull it off before eating.
I enjoyed the food in the shakes once I got it help is needed evidently the wait was very very long even though the food was good it's the wait they can make a calm person upset but I enjoyed my $7 Shake
Once we ordered, service was fast. Food was good, but burgers seemed small. You can get burger without a bun and fries if you are gluten free.
I cant really give a full review on johnny rockets cause i ate their food at an amusement park. So obviously it was xtremely overpriced. But for the times I've been their before it was always delicious.
The food was excellent and the service was very fast, BUT it was 22 dollars for a burger, fries and drink. So you expect to pay more then it is worth.
The food is good for a theme park but the wait is crazy long. You have to do something about this, seriously. This is why I didn't get the dining plan this year. I have also noticed a drop in quality over the past two years.
Food here is very good, but the bad thing is that it cost way too much. A burger meal (burger and fries) cost me $13 and it didn't come with a drink, which was kind of disappointing. I would come here again, but just by myself. A meal for your friends and family would cost around $65 and no drink.
Food is not so bad, I didn't get sick... but it takes forever to order. We have the meal plan and to scan each card and enter in each order separately is ridiculous for the poor boy working... honestly the whole park needs a better POS system... if the pick up order button on the sixflags app was "on/working" that be awesome too...
Its was okay because I was super hungry. People were super nice but burger was overcooked a d fries tasted stale. I totally expected everything to be overpriced but not sitting out a long time. The drinks are really cool and crisp and pretty clean sitting areas.
The onion rings and shakes were awesome! The burger was lacking something, maybe more sauce? Fries were decent and the chicken tenders were pretty good. The service was quick, even though the line looked long they had us at our table and fed in no time. I would definitely go back!
We used our Dining Pass to pick out a snack. The order of half and half fries/ onion rings was the perfect size for two to nibble. Honestly, it would have been too much for a single eater. I was pleasantly surprised by the rings in that they were not heavily breaded and greasy (my pet peeves with most onion rings) and they were still crispy. The fries were chunky and hot. A good snack value.
I'm giving it a four star because I feel like they do have really good season pass deals. Restrooms were clean. Food is great only thing its too expensive!💵 it adds up! So be sure to save before he take a trip. Rides are awsome! My 5 year old daughter enjoyed the Kidie rides. And staff working in that area were very friendly. I would totally recommend the sandwich place they have there so good! Can't wait to eat again!😀
The food is good, not many choices, but good. I would've prefer dine in, that's what I usually see in other Johnny rockets, I expected more.
It's in the middle of six flags magic mountain. I have been to other Johny Rockets that were better.
Idk why but this does NOT taste like jhonny rockets burger. The fries are Def park fries
This was the one inside Six Flags Magic Mountain... The menu was very limited & the food was mediocre at best... The shakes and fries tasted the best here..
It was okay. Prices are ridiculous, but I guess u can say that's how all the amusement parks are. Too expensive to eat. Also, they could give u a little more fries with your meals.
Best burgers at six flags, but that ain't saying much. This place doesn't give aluminum foil to cover your food. Taste is alright.
The food is good, but it feels like a wannabe Johnny Rockets. If you don't have the time to go to a real one after (which is literally 10 minutes away) then yah i'd say eat here. But for a real Johnny rockets experience i'd say hold off til you leave the park and go to the one near the Edwards Theatre
The wait is very long and the food doesn't live up to the quality it has in regular stores. It is, however still one of the better options at six flags.
Same experience as most others. $15 for a burger, $5 for a soda, and $10 for kids meal. The BBQ place by the riddler is a better value.
Food is okay. Not the best like the restaurant but you do with what six flags got. The tri tip shop was closed so Johnny Rockets was my second choice.
Typical fast food In An amusement park. The shake is just a soft serve in a cup with a spoon along with whipped cream and a cherry unable to drink and no straws
Very nice and friendly service. Fairly clean. Food was better than average theme park food.
It was ok. Burger was very tasty but the lettuce n tomatos not so well.. the sauce was good and the fries were crispy. I don't eat crispy fries. I really think I received someone else's order but hard to say since it was very packed that day. Will not be coming back here if given another chance. Maybe.
So, the regular Johnny Rockets is awesome. It has a 50s theme and they have high quality food and service. The burgers are top notch and so are the fries. But, the johnny Rockets at six flags is terrible. It isnt as clean and they tend to mess up your order more often.
I'm season pass + season dining pass holder. You would need to wait for 2 hours easily for your food to be ready for pickup between 1 to 5 pm. Food quality is 4/5 star.
We ordered with the dining pass and where serve chicken tenders that were about 2 inches long upon viewing the other patrons that had ordered them without the dining pass we noticed that their chicken tenders were about 6 inches long. Just a theory but we think if you order with dining pass they serve you smaller and less food then if you order without it. The food was decent the onion rings just tasted like batter and didn't have any onion taste to them.
The food is good but I got carbonated water as my drink when I asked for Sprite.
For $47 the burger wasn't strictly terrible. I wonder how much extra a clean table to eat it on would have cost.
Another Overpriced burgers joint, that's it, there's really nothing else. I paid about 30 bucks for 2 burger, fries and drink. Not worth the price.
Waited in line for 45 mins. Cold food. Dirty tables. Sloooowwww service. No military discount. Very rude when i asked about it.
The onion rings were good but the burger was terrible. Worse than Burger King terrible. How is this place a chain.
89 cents for a pack of ranch? The cheese wasn't even melted. I'm giving it 2 stars because the fries were okay. The burger sucks
It's really expensive (even for amusement park food) for a tiny burger and some fries. It would be more worth your time to get food at a different part of the park.
Johnny Rockets by name only. Shake are nothing like the regular locations, nor is the hamburger. All that for$20. No thanks.
This is zombie shell of what the original Johnny Rocket's once was. The shake was pretty decent besides that, but the burgers might as well hace come from smart n' final.
The meat on the burger was super dry and the lettuce wilted. No flavor what so ever. This was at six flags magic mountain in california.
I have gone to other locations and they are okay. But the fact that a single burger with fries and 3 onion rings (suppose to be 50/50) is worth $13, I would advice eating anywhere else or before or after entering Six Flags. Not worth the money.
Meals dont include fountain drinks and bring your wallet because 1 burger with fries and a fountain drink will run you almost 20 dollars. It's better if you eat before coming to six flags all together
This would be great if they gave a simple thing like a few pickles. It looks good but for the price it is lacking. I love the idea of Johnny Rockets in six flags but it just isn't up to par. It needs a few simple changes.
Way overly expensive for basic food . for what they charge the food should be gourmet!. I would advise eating prior to going in the park and bringing what u can to try and sustain you While there
Food is decent, milk shakes are great. The service is horribly slow! If they worked on efficiency they could get rid of a couple useless bodies in there and turn out a much higher volume of food. I am baffled that so restaurants here are run so so so poorly....
Mobile ordering is essentially pointless. You still have to wait a long line at the mobile pickup station.
No salt or pepper for food and their ranch condiments on the outside of building made me sick 🤮 Should be kept at cold temperature!
Overcrowded, overpriced, and food wasn’t worth the wait. Would go somewhere else in the park. Not pleased with my experience here. Waited 45 minutes in line for some mediocre chicken tenders.
Too expensive for dry burgers. Cheese was like chewing on plastic. Fries were ok, onion rings were ok. Sorry but I'm looking somewhere else on my next visit. Shakes did look good tho but didn't have one.
The last time I went they CLEARLY gave us old food. It looked like it had been sitting out for at least an hour. Terrible. Someone from the kitchen brought it to the cashier AS WE WERE PAYING. I think he just wanted to get rid of it. I should have said something but wasn't in the mood. The vibe of the staff was off and the cashier needed help every step of the way of our transaction (from another staff member). We didn't get sick thankfully, but our Luke warm food was TERRIBLE.
Used to love going here. I would always get the Double meal maybe even with a milk shake or a side of onion rings. As of late, the park's food quality has degraded. Now, whenever we convince ourselves to give Johnny Rockets one last try, the burger we receive makes me want to throw it out instead of feeding it to the pigeons. They don't deserve that. Buns are exceedingly greasy and fall apart, patties are tough and flavorless, and the cheese is slapped on there before serving, rendering it unmelted and unappealing. The only thing saving this burger is the fresh tomato and the sauce, in which I tend to find more sauce spilled on the fries than on the burger. I love milk shakes as much as anybody who craves a burger n shake, but something about the chocolate shake is off-setting. It leaves an odd aftertaste and it lingers. I like my fries crispy and fluffy. I know people have different preferences on fries some like them pretty soft, some like a crisp snap. These fries aren't any combination that I think any sensible being would enjoy, they're extremely crunchy, along with tough and chewy in the middle. Eating them is more of a workout than an enjoyment. Soaking them in ketchup, ranch, or BBQ sauce won't save them. Onion rings are fine though, totally better than Katy's Kettle. Not overly battered and you can actually dip them in the provided condiments, unlike Katy's.
Me and two friends went here just wanting a quick meal, and the price ended up being over $50. Over $50! For some pretty standard stuff! We were low on money at this point so we weren't able to afford the final total, and had to reverse the order--at least the person at the window was nice to us about it. I've had Johnny Rockets before and liked it, but I certainly wouldn't go back to this one in particular.
During rush hour you will wait in line 1.5-2.0 hours just to order and receive your food. That's a lot of wasted time in the park. Service was super slow. The hamburger tasted like it was frozen and had pulled from the freezer and thrown on the grill, warmed, then served. It also wasn't seasoned; it tasted super bland. The onion rings are the best part of the meal, unfortunately. A "large" soda in the park is $5 and yet it's a medium soda anywhere outside of the park. Thoroughly unimpressed.
Terrible burgers. $15 for a burger that had been sitting so long the cheese was getting hard and discolored.
Six Flags Johnny Rockets needs to be SHUT DOWN!!! It does NOT have the same quality as the others and is almost double the price.
Johnny Rockets should take their name off this restaurant inside of Magic Mountain. Horrible in every way. Returned food 3 times because it was cold. If you put this food next to real Johnny Rockets you wouldn't know supposed to be the same.
High prices for food that wasnt seasoned. No cheese or ketchup and no shade ! All the seats were too hot to sit on.
We have a gold pass and the employees kept refusing us our discount although the discount was advertised on their service window. I would not recommend them, horrible service.
If I wanted to eat plastic I should have just chewed on my own debit card, it probably would have been tastier.
Love the Orings here usually yet today they were horribly cold did not enjoy what so ever. Supposedly make to order not today I suppose.
Not Johnny Rockets food, just the sign. Service terrible. Waitress threw away a full Shake and a Full Soda.
I love Johnny rockets but this one at Magic Mountain was awful. The food tasted off. Fries were old and burgers not so good. I would eat elsewhere at magic mountain
It sucked, the chicken tasted like steak and sour Skittles. Fries were very oily. And the burgers aren't made correctly
Didn’t let you customize the burgers to remove their sauce and ran out of chocolate milkshakes
Horrific. On a cold night, was hoping for hot or even warm burger. It was colder than the sad metal table I sat at. Fries were worse. Crisp like from the freezer. Just terrible, and I'm usually a fan of this franchise. Wish I could've given negative stars, they had to try to make it that bad
I thought the food was terrible for Johnny rockets and very expensive at six flags magic mountain. Will not buy again. For the price one would expect better quality of hamburger meat.
DO NOT GO DO NOT GO DO NOT GO. We stood in a 12 PERSON LINE FOR HALF AN HOUR. The cashier had no idea how to work the register and didnt know how to make change for a $50. Burger, fries, onion rings and vanilla shake was soooooo nasty. Shame to Johnny Rockets.
It took over an hour and nearly $50 for food for just 2 people, and the food wasn't even good. Do not recommend at all. The $15 meals don't even include drinks, you have to pay for drinks seperately.
Service is BAD, Employees are kids who know zero life experience not know how to pick their battles. Also, no trays, no lids for drinks, long lines on a slow day, but
Not like the real Johnny Rockets! We order a hamburger meal. The hamburger bun was dry. The patty was thin and over cooked. If you are expecting a real tasty hamburger, you won't get it here.
This one time i was so hungry i had to buy something to eat. It was at like Six Flags. They sold me a burger with fries and onion rings for like 15 dollars. The fries werent even salted. I mean my opinion is that i hate this place, but other people might like it i guess.
Wilted lettuce, dry and black patties, half teaspoon of sauce, dry buns. The shakes are good if you like a cup of ice cream. Fast service though, fast and trash.
People were waiting an hour and half for their order and walking away cuz it still wasn’t ready after a mobile order. They serve like five things. I don’t know how they can be this slow.
The burgers were not good, the fries were ok, it does not taste like the real Johnny Rockets, just a generic version of it. Couple that with $15 for the meal which includes burger and fries and its not worth it, there are better options in the park.
Thia place is painfully slow. Sure, I expect a wait for theme park food but this was ridiculous. There were 5 families in line ahead of us. It took 35 minutes for us to order and get food. They seem confused that customers might order burgers. No trays to take food to family waiting at a table. No one bothers to clean the tables. The food is as gross as you would expect at any traveling carnival. Johnny Rockets is a reflection on the total lack of customer service at Magic Mountain in general. I am reviewing this as I wait in line for Twisted Collossus and hope I don't get sick. That "burger" was a sketchy choice.
Bought a meal deal that came with a souvenir cup but the waitress kept saying that I had to by the season pass in order to get my cup. After I already paid 28 dollars for the meal deal you want me to pay an extra 20 for a cup!!! I was highly upset, dying of thrist and flustered. This place ruined my whole trip to six flags
This NOT Johnny Rockets! Meat is super dry and nasty, the cheese didn’t even melt onto the patty. The saddest excuse of a burger. I’ve been to the “real” Johnny Rockets and their burgers are great, I’m surprised this place is even allowed to use the name “Johnny Rockets.” It’s $18 for a cafeteria school tasting burger and cold fries. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.
Terrible service, it took an extremely long time to order though there was a very short line. Workers knew very little about the policies such as meal vouchers with membership packages. I waited nearly 15 minutes for food, chicken strips and fries, and after that wait everything was barely warm. Would not recommend, go to another restaurant in the park.
Im not picky with my food but the service here was HORRIBLE!!! The buns looked as if they were nice and warm but fooled me with whatever they glazed it with and the meat was so thin, almost burned that it didn't even taste like meat. It was such a rip off!! It was a waste of $100+ that I spent to feed my family. They don't deserve a 1 star either
They said the family deal was a good deal so they couldn't take 5% off. While the total came out to 50 for 4 meals, cheese wasn't melted, meat was dry, expeditor was rude. Wasn't worth the 50
Wait 30 minutes to be told they’re out of beverages because they don’t know how to change the menu accordingly into their items availability. Wasting the increasingly limited time at the park.
Mobile order, wait half hour to receive ready message, and another more than a half hour to simply take meal in a long line, only one employee serve the mobile order. Come if you want to waste one hour to wait.
It was way too expensive, and the line was extremely long, but once I ordered, it came out quickly. The fries were the best out of the entire meal. The burger was one of the worst burgers I ever had. Save your money and eat elsewhere.
