I am so glad to find out that Panda Express is no longer using styrofoam plates. They changed their plates recently. We ordered the family package for takeout. Everything went well, except we had to wait for one of the items at least 12 minutes to come from the kitchen.

I come here quite often, it's very nice place to eat and hang out. They are always trying to keep clean and waiting for the fresh food is your best option. Nice girls and their male cashier is friendly friendly.

Rocio was very nice, she gave me a good amount sauces I asked for she also applied 10 dollars off to my purchase since I signed up for the Panda Express app. She was amazing with the service very pilote as well. Also she speaks English and Spanish fluently! Thank you Rocio for the great service.

I think management changed? Came here on a Saturday afternoon and the food was a really good ratio! The kung pao chicken had large pieces which was rare! Twas very good :)

Crew is kind and efficient. I accidentally ordered double of the same protein and the employee (I believe she was a manager )quickly accommodated me.

I visited on 11/03/2025. Came in at 9:55pm, 5 minutes before closing time of this location. Food: It's Panda Express. You already know what to expect. All orders were hot and did not taste old. The half chow mein and half fried rice were good. There was not much entrees left, granted that it was 5 minutes before closing so it is expected. I got two different beef entrees and once chicken egg roll. Everything was good. Service: They ask you what you would like to order, and answer questions about the menu, if any. Maricar helped me with my plate order. She was accommodating. I wanted a specific entree but did not want the chili. She was kind enough to not get any red chili on my order. Daniela was quick with the check out of my order. Atmosphere: The dining area was well lit. Music was playing, and the dining area was clean. The restaurant was clean. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

They give good portion. Food cooked fresh. Affordable and reasonable price. I ordered string beans with chicken. Chicken teriyaki and greens instead of rice or noodles.

The music is loud, but otherwise everything is fine.

I normally order & eat inside and normally get a 1 entree bowl but this evening I was extra hungry & wanted to take it home. I placed a mobile order & thought it was another Panda but by happy accident, I ended up here. When I arrived, my order was ready, hot and the entrees were both heaping! Kudos to the team working tonight (Sat., 12/28/24)! I had 1/2 & 1/2, Beijing beef and string bean chicken breast.

This place is super busy throughout the day so there can sometimes be a waiting line. The food is ok, it’s certainly not the best for Panda Express but I won’t complain. The parking lot is small and sometimes it can be hard to find a parking spot in the back.

The food quality is usually very good here. Lots of people in lime but it tends to go fast. All your Panda Express favorites are usually available. The dining room is sometimes a bit cramped, and the restrooms can be a bit messy, but generally this is a good place for a quick meal.

I recently moved from Northridge to Van Nuys, and I visit this Panda Express location regularly now. Overall, it’s a good place with friendly staff and reliable flavor. However, the portion sizes have become the main issue affecting my experience. The portions here are extremely inconsistent depending on who is serving, and many times it feels like employees are being overly strict — almost as if they’re trying to meet some goal or limit on how much food they give out. As a paying customer, it’s frustrating when the amount varies so much, especially because at the Northridge location I used to visit, this was never an issue. Portions there were always consistent, which makes the difference at this location even more noticeable. Another ongoing problem is that Super Greens are almost always out or nearly gone, which means I end up waiting almost every time. Waiting once in a while is understandable, but this has become a regular pattern here. Since Super Greens are a standard menu option, they should be prepared more consistently, especially during busy hours. Everything else at this location is fine — the food tastes good and the staff is polite — but the portion inconsistency and constant lack of Super Greens take away from the experience. I hope management can address this so customers feel they’re receiving the value they’re paying.

I can see why this Panda Express don't have good reviews on Yelp or Google. I came here today for my lunch because I was at the Dental Care center in the same plaza. I walked inside right before lunch time and they were not busy at all. I was able to go put in my order right away. I got the chow mein, kung pao chicken and orange chicken. They do not give a big portion here so I don't know it's the person serving you, the manager managing how much their workers give or if it's a company policy. You might be able to ask if they can add more but why would we have to do that. I got my food to go and I thought it was decent. I wish I could have gotten more portion but it is what it is. The staff were friendly from the moment I walked inside and when I left.

I just had a bad experience with this cashier Katerin P. She was so rude when she asked what do we wanted for our food. At first I thought maybe I didn’t hear well and that’s why she was talking that way, however she talked to in the same tone to the customer behind us! I usually don’t post any negativity on reviews because is the first thing people sees on internet, but this behavior made mad because if you work in customer service even if you hate the job, you need to be nice!. Otherwise the food and the rest of the employees I had experienced before had been amazing!

Give small portion its not worthy

They give you the smallest portions. I visited this location got a side of orange chicken the portion size was small and it was mostly small pieces of orange chicken batter cracklings most of the pieces had no actual meat on the inside

Staff need some serious training they can't work under pressure they get everything wrong I heard the person behind me telling the employee that she messed up that what I got wasn't what I ordered but I let it slide had a hard day just wanted to eat

Watch your receipt folks ! When you ask for double shrimp, you get the regular size but get charged $1.50 (not once but twice). The menu says 2 entrees plus 1 side is about $10 but you will be charged $12 and they will have an excuse for the charge. Bunch of morons over here! I’ll have it reduced by my credit card company and never visit this location again Inept at its finest!

I arrived at the place 30 minutes before they closed, When I entered there was nothing available, They told me to wait 15 minutes so they can make more food and I agree. While waiting more people came in and they were preparing food. While they were preparing food the customers got fresh food while I got what was left. The plate looked good but when I opened it there was barely Chowmin just veggies. Horrible servers and I don’t recommend eating there or getting food at night.

I usually like panda however today I placed my order using the app and when I tell you the portion was literally half the size you get when you order it in store I use the app and ordered my food so I wasn't there when they made it when you made it in front of you the portions are very large and healthy servings so much you can eat half one night add half another night. It was almost like chipotle! Skimping on servings. I was so upset when I got home from work.

I have come to this panda express 4 times now, the portions are tiny. Like 4 pieces of meat. The chow mein is dripping in grease everytime. The last two times I've ordered honey walnut shrimp. Not a single walnut has been in my shrimp. I order online or else I would say something in person. The rice is good however. Just sad I probably won't be going back and it's the closest to my place.

Food juice from bowl spilled everywhere. Container top for bowl does not work at all. Procurement team should consider alternative take out containers. Our dinner was very messy and we had to clean up the juice that spilled before we could even eat. Not fun.

I came yesterday to this panda which is the closet to my business and bought a meal. The asian lady with glasses that help me really got into my nerves. I order rise, chao mean to go and then she ask what it will be as a third item I said mushroom chicken then she say and the last item? I said I don't want another item and she say "you want doable " and because I said no She took chao mean from my order and gave me this bad face. I did not tell anything to her because did not want to confront her but she make me very upset. Its ok is she is trying to upsell the food but is my prerogative to buy it or not. She doesn't have to give actitudes.

I ordered my food ahead of time and as soon as I was parking I got a text message saying my food was ready to get it while it’s hot . I walk up to pick up window and the lady tells me “ my food isn’t ready “ . I told her “ then why would I get a text saying my food is ready ? That’s why I got off my car “ . I’ve been coming to this location for my pick up orders and have never had this issue . Is something going on with the text alerts ? Or are the employees lying ?

I was disappointed for the first time in this panda I got an attitude from the employees and one asked for the code for the restroom they mumble the numbers like they would not want anybody to use it or they don't know it. The food was fresh, not old but one ask one of the employees for some fresh food that they just had taken out and got mad for not wanting an old chicken and mushroom that looked like has been sitting down for hrs. For being a new panda they already started messing up with their customer service.

I got pranked by the worker with the teriyaki chicken they gave me the crumbs and still removed some this place is like the new chipotle never coming back.

First, we had to wait for our food, and then he forgot some of are food had to go back inside. We got there right when it opened, and our food was cold, and horrible, will not go back there again. I will go to another panda express.

Terrible location. My food had raw chicken in it and when I showed it to the staff the manager came out and basically denied me a refund or solution. ZERO STARS! This location should be closed

Plastic Found In Food This specific Panda Express location was the worst! As I came to pay for our food, the cashier had terrible customer service, but worse yet when I saw plastic in my chow mein, I was very unsatisfied with my food and this new franchise. The workers during the afternoon shift also forgot to put the sauces I asked for in my bag and they never put the fortune cookies I enjoy reading.

Placed an order online. Panda does not disclose who they are using which is DoorDash. They shouldn't even advertise delivery if they dont tell you it is a 3rd party delivery. Order left the facility and I have two DoorDash people arguing on the phone about the address and the food was picked up 40 mins ago and thats how long it took to go less than a mile away.

I have gone few times but is not the same when the bad and rude person named Ingrid is attending, she acts like she hates me in my experience I would never go back to this specific location, Ingrid is so rude I hope the management team take care of her she is not good for this business…… :(

Beside the building looking new and nice, I had a bad experience visiting this location for a first time. Ordered a plate, chow mein, orange chicken and teriyaki to go, and as i get home and open my plate i only see the chow mein and half of orange chicken. They forgot my teriyaki chicken! I essentially paid for a plate but was served a bowl! Not only that, but as I’m leaving the building, I see three employees gossiping about another employee which creates a toxic work environment!

No teriyaki chicken . At 9:10pm. Very rude young lady ignoring my daughter when she was trying to ask about how long the teriyaki chicken would take to be made. We decided to leave. I normally come here and this time it wasn't great.

She didn’t apologize besides she looked at me angry and said I dint flush the toilet but I did I went back to the bathroom to make sure I did and flushed again. She give me a bad attitude them while I was making line to get my food she was making faces too me . I’m a costumer I like panda but having service like hers it’s not great plus there where no toilet paper. A bad bad service and attitude from her.

Clean the tables, wash the containers where the plastic forks are placed ....Disgusting . Check your heat bulbs. Rice seemed hard. Chow mein had more veggies than noodles

What a RipOff! DONT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION! They gave me 2 small pieces of beef with my plate. I paid $37 here, and I'm not happy about their super small portions. Panda Express is always my first choice of food, and I know their not known for big portions, but this place is starving their customers. Also, all 3-4 girls at the counter are just rude, especially if you decide not to donate to their charity. Unprofessional! Update! Gave them another shot, and still, the girl Daniela that was helping us was super unfriendly! I'm all about customer service, and this isn't the place for it. Probably try again next year, and hopefully, they have better employees

Horrible customer service, I spoke to a manager telling him that the order I picked up was wrong and what he told me is that it was nothing that he could do. I am a customer that orders at Panda at least two or three times a week at different locations and for them to tell me that is nothing that they can do it's very unfair. I am very disappointed.

Got three ala carte meals cause I wanted a little more food today. Cost me $20. Should’ve gotten a 3 item instead. Orange chicken was less than getting it on a plate, vegetables were less than expected, and did not give me any teriyaki sauce for my teriyaki chicken. This is the 3rd time with this particular server (Hispanic lady-unknown name) who has skimped on my portions. Consistently less than any other server I’ve had.

By far the worst panda express restaurant I’ve ever seen in my life the food I got from them tasted a little bit funny little burned, and the meat kind of seems spoiled, so I went to the lady that sold me this and I told her about it and she said You ate half the chicken and my reply was I’m not here to tell you this for a refund. I’m here to tell you that there’s something not right with the meat so therefore nobody else gets sick and left. Unfortunately, for this lady, she mistook me for someone that needed a free food Very unfortunate. In conclusion, the food was beyond horrible. I would categorize it as dangerous service was just nasty be advised.

I asked if the food was GMO the lady said no GMOs added! I said that doesn't make since how do you add GMO? She said I'm not Google. Which makes no sense as well. She said the sign says no GMOs added. I said where, then she pointed to a sign that says no MSG added. She doesn't know the difference between Monosodiumglutamate and Genetically Modified Organisms. From now on I'm gonna ask every restaurant the same question. I can't believe she said she's not Google... she seemed just as useless as Google. I asked if the food was Organic. She said no. So therefore it's Genetically Modified. Aka poison. Thanks Panda! Keeping employees and customers ignorant to the unhealthy outcomes from eating your food.

My mom ordered 3 to go plates today, 09/13/2023, and for one of the plates she asked for beef and 🥦 broccoli with chow main, and guess what ?? Whenever she brought home there was 3-4 small broccolis with only 1 piece of beef, ONLY 1 PIECE, not joking .. I asked my mom if she saw it there, but she said no , I just ordered it and waited for them to make my orders ready to go . I tried to call them to complain, they never answer the phone , therefore I decided to leave a review , so they will at least read this hopefully, and not to do it to their customers. Your customers pay for it, which is not even cheap, to eat and get fulfilled somehow, not to pay and get 1piece of beef with 3 pieces of broccoli , that’s ridiculous..

Not one to typically be harsh with my reviews but this location was absolutely pitiful. When eating at Panda Express I usually have enough food for 2 meals however I found myself still hungry after finishing my usual order. In addition to incredibly cheap portioning, I found a rather large stock of inedible cabbage in my chow mein which likely replaced a large portion of the edible food on my plate. Customer service was adequate but the food (which to me, is more important) was miserable. The rice and Mushroom chicken were old, tough, and dry. The orange chicken was the only palatable part of my meal and that was only because I made a point to wait for the fresh batch as the batch others were served was obviously past the point of being enjoyable. As I said before, I'm usually pretty relaxed when it comes to reviews but this Panda Express location is certainly one to be avoided.
