Visited October '22. Food is no frills, but what you get is good value for money. The special burger was one of the best burgers I've had. Marie is super efficient and made us feel welcome.

Didn't try the food but it looked and smelled delicious. Live music was brilliant from the band Thick as Thieves

Wir besuchen Frankies Bar seit 20 Jahren. In all diesen Jahren war Frankies eine sichere Bank. Das Essen ist gleichmäßig gut und preiswert. Die Qualität der Bedienung hängt wie immer von einzelnen Individuen ab. Insgesamt sind wir zufrieden und gehen gerne zu Frankies. Wir haben die Bar in sehr ruhigen und sehr betriebsamen Zeiten erlebt und immer war es gut dort zu sein.

I visited again and the food was excellent as usual. I always look forward to eating here. We had the Sunday roast and it was a real treat. Great food at a great price and great service.

We arranged a party of 60 for a three course dinner . The service was prestine. The food was beautiful and plentiful portions. It was my first time at this restaurant but have a table booked for Friday.

Went to frankies today for lunch (3/3/26. Food was amazing. 3 of us had steak which was lovely and tender and one had gammon which was also lovely. All served with lots of chips and beautiful side salad and nicely presented. Service was excellent and would definitely recommend. 10 out of 10 on price, presentation, service and quality 👌. Thanks frankies we will definitely be back 👍 😀 👌

Sitting here now enjoying our cold drinks and finishing off our food which were both delicious, good size portions, I had the Tikka chicken wrap with salad which I enjoyed , highly recommend Frankies bar, have been here few years ago and enjoyed food then so will certainly be back . Didn’t have to wait long for food.

Went here for live music and it was incredible. Didn't eat, but saw the fish and chips being brought out for others and they were huge! Staff are all English, if that's your thing in Spain. Great atmosphere, great drinks and great music

Been twice now, Sunday lunch was amazing, and went and had a full breakfast. Really nice, staff are nice, its very clean you can sit inside or outside, and nice quiet. I would recommend it 😉

Fish and chips (en sla). Prima, in een hoeveelheid die ik en meerdere tafelgenoten niet opkregen. Lekkere Tinto de Verano, zonder achterlijk veel ijsblokjes zodat het Tinto met ijs was en niet ijs met wat Tinto. Geen 5 sterren, de slagroom voor het toetje was op😒

Called in for the Special Offer Steak lunch. Thick beautifully cooked fillet steak. Will call again. Real lager & lime.

Everyone seemed to be eating fish and chips. I ordered one too and it was good but I'm not sure what the fish was, maybe panga. I must ask next time.

Sausage egg and chips and fillet steak ordered. Didn't have to wait too long for food to arrive. Pleasant meal. Music night and atmosphere was buzzing. Overall a great evening

De beste Fish in deze regio, the Chips zijn slapjes en soms niet helemaal gaar maar vanwege de Fish toch 5 sterren voor het eten. De porties zijn sinds afgelopen herfst wat kleiner geworden. De sfeer is nooit geen 5 sterren waard geweest, tenzij je aan de weg kunt zitten maar dan moet je vroeg in de middag met minimaal 6, het liefst met 8 personen aan één tafel gaan zitten omdat de meeste (Engelse) gasten daar hoofdzakelijk alleen maar drinken en thuis eten. De bediening is prima. Hij is niet echt enthousiast maar doet zijn ding goed en is vlot dus geen klachten. Aanrader, gewoon kijken of het iets voor je is.

We’ve been here a number of times and the owner is a delight as is the food. However, the male waiter needs to get some customer service training and be able to smile occasionally instead of looking and acting as if he doesn’t want to be there.

Our friends and I... hear so much on the Advertising on Radio, we just had to go and try it. But what a different to what the Advertising on Radio say , it say is on Vera playa which we thought on the beach is not but is ok . pricey basic food , on the radio say friendly service , well we feel the service and staff mood didn't want to be working on that day .I was disappointed cause I suggested to my UK friends to go there cause is so loud good Adverts on it . Maybe we were unlucky they just had a bad day 😕.

For that price I expected something more then microwaved food. Wasn't bad, but yeah.

Will never again go to this place. Went in for a drink but as soon as we sat down decided to leave. The food that people were eating looked disgusting.

Lovely front of house waitress Marie, we arrived 6.30pm without a reservation and although it was a steak offer night, but not for us, we were accommodated with a table and drinks ordered. Should have passed and gone elsewhere...gammon steak..? Was a grey/brown color that seemed to have been bathed in water, the chips were horrible tasting of oil...hubby ordered ribs...this came as a pile of individual ribs with chips and salad...so sorry to say the worst food I have been presented with...Marie you were busy and so attentive to the patrons but the food was awful.

Frankie’s Bar Review: A Masterclass in Incompetence Came for the steak deal on a Wednesday, left with the worst dining experience of my life. Upon being seated, a gentleman named Dennis/Denis took our order, which we promptly gave him. We asked for peppercorn sauce with the steaks, to which he said he would go and check. He then vanished without a trace. A few minutes later, his female colleague arrived asking to take our order. Confused, we told her we had already given our order to her male colleague. She left without another word. We then proceeded to wait for an agonizing 50 minutes before someone finally approached us, asking if we’d had our order taken. Dennis/Denis had the gall to blame me for the miscommunication, snapping, “Well, do you want the order or will we just argue?” Despite my strong urge to leave, hunger forced us to stay. Our order arrived 15 minutes later—over an hour since we first sat down. The peppercorn sauce, meant for both my friend and me, arrived in a pot on my friend's plate. When I asked the female staff member about my portion, she curtly replied, “That’s for both of you, it’s just two portions in a big pot.” Why on earth would they place it on one plate rather than in the middle, as any sensible restaurant would? Instead, I received a passive-aggressive remark about what should have been “clear.” After the meal, my friend ordered dessert with the female staff member. I was completely ignored and not asked if I wanted dessert at all. Frankie’s Bar might be a cheap and cheerful place serving food, but that’s no excuse for the sheer incompetence, rudeness, and bizarre presentation of delayed food I endured. I will never return. There are far nicer places in and around Vera. I highly recommend Maktub, where the staff are pleasant, the food is high quality, orders are taken correctly, and the service is prompt. Avoid Frankie’s Bar at all costs.

Went to have a meal last night, some tables were reserved so we found one that wasn’t and got literally turfed out by the waiter saying all tables were reserved.. so we had a nice meal in the next bar watching some empty tables at Frankie’s.. what a dump.

Wir waren gestern Abend in der Bar. Es gab tolle Livemusik. Leider war das es meiner Freundin nicht das was sie haben wollte. Nach Diskussionen mit dem unfreundlichen Personal, kam der Chef und bot auch keinen Umtausch an. Weil die Sängerin so gut war, verbrachten wir den Abend in der Bar, das Essen ging zurück und wir mussten es trotzdem zahlen.
