The food is king; we often go for lunch with the company. The "off-key" here is rare, apart from the fact that it's always very crowded. Reservations are highly recommended. They make the tripe excellently, even fried. Average price is €14. Don't go too far out of your comfort zone, as Marco, despite being a nice guy, has to pay taxes and employees too. Dessert is an extra €5.

I went to Trattoria Montonero with friends for a pre-Christmas dinner and was truly satisfied. The atmosphere was welcoming, perfect for an evening with friends. The menu offered several traditional local dishes. I particularly enjoyed the panissa, which I found truly excellent. The other dishes my friends ordered were also very popular, a sign of authentic and well-prepared cuisine. The staff was friendly and helpful, helping make the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely return to Trattoria Montonero and recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic place to enjoy excellent local food.

We had lunch at this restaurant on our way to Vercelli... set menu Monday through Saturday with excellent food and truly amazing desserts. The place was crowded, so we had to wait a bit for our dishes, but it was worth it. Highly recommended!! We'll definitely be back.

Here, the food is authentic and natural. The mushroom risotto and polenta are delicious. The welcome at this country trattoria is excellent, attentive, and informal. I recommend stopping by if you're in the area; it's worth it!

We stumbled upon it by chance...but it was exactly what we were looking for! A simple, yet well-kept and clean trattoria. Very friendly staff and quick, yet attentive service, despite the full dining room. Delicious traditional dishes...the traditional appetizer, the panissa, and the pilgrim's dessert are excellent! This trattoria is located in a hamlet nestled among the rice fields, outside the city, which makes it even more authentic! Highly recommended, especially for the price ☺️

A must-see. A beautiful, welcoming place in the Vercelli countryside, both inside and out, absolutely relaxing. The food is good and simple, and the staff and owners are friendly, humble, and kind. A must-see. Business lunch: first course, second course, 0.75 l water in a glass, 0.75 l wine in a glass, coffee 15 euros. The setting + food + relaxation + staff are top-notch. Definitely come here. Trattoria 4 km from Vercelli, nestled among the rice fields. The restaurant is well-maintained, tastefully decorated, and has attention to detail. The staff is attentive and courteous. The lunch menu offers a choice of two first courses and three second courses, all excellent. The panissa is particularly delicious, and the house wine is very good. What's surprising is the price: €40 for two people, including a first course, second course, wine, coffee, and dessert. The only downside is that there's no menu with prices, but given our experience, trust me, you won't have any unpleasant surprises when it comes to the bill. Highly recommended.
