Since we discovered it, it's become our favorite restaurant, not in Alessandria, but in Piedmont and Lombardy. The vegetables are always cooked to perfection, which is unusual even among vegetarian restaurants; forget about the rubbery soy, here the texture is excellent (see "arrosticini" at Easter lunch 😋). As for desserts, I can only say that we often order a portion to go 😏 Gluten-free options are always available, at least one per course, and the quality is the same as everything else. Compliments to the chef! And to all the staff 😊 N.B. Open for dinner ONLY Friday and Saturday. It's also a bar.

Fantastic discovery, it's been on my to-do list for a while, but since it's so far from where I live, I haven't been able to try it before. Well, what can I say: I feel sorry for Turin restaurants, but the vegan carbonara here is the best I've ever had (and I've tried so many, since it's my favorite dish). We also had the katsu curry, which was incredibly fragrant and delicious! We shared a mix of side dishes for an appetizer, and they were also fresh and delicious. To finish, we shared a tiramisu because we were too full for two desserts, but we took advantage of the takeout option, choosing the millefeuille (which we had this morning, a truly wonderful wake-up call) and other dishes we wouldn't have been able to try yesterday. Thanks for the maritozzi; we wouldn't have been able to fully appreciate them yesterday either 🤗. The staff is wonderful, both the girls in the dining room and the cooks, whom we had the opportunity to meet and thank. What can I say: for me, the only downside is the distance, but we'll definitely be back. It also overlooks a lovely little square, and the interior is very welcoming. Highly recommended!!!

Looking for a vegan restaurant that won't leave you feeling dejected, resigned, melancholic, and fully aware that traditional cuisine remains inimitable? Well, head to Ortozero Café and limit yourself—so to speak—to a carbonara and an amatriciana. Do so, especially if you're not vegan. It might be the raw ingredients, the quality of the pasta, the unparalleled tomato sauce that alone is worth the price of the dish, but it might be—should we say?—the skill and ability to strive for perfection of the super chef... well, whatever the case, you'll realize that the two generous and delicious courses won't make you long for the original recipes. Add the kindness and friendliness of the staff, the welcoming atmosphere, and—and it doesn't seem like a small thing—the more than fair and just price that comes with excellence, and from now on, your lunch break will only be at Ortozero Café. I'm exaggerating, you ask? So eat the bucatini and then we'll talk about it. Good? No: bbooooniiiiiii!

Vegan bar located in a very pretty piazza. They offer nice choices of aperitivo and the staff are both English-speaking and LGBT friendly. Nice find :)

In the heart of Alessandria, this vegan restaurant is a little gem: intimate and welcoming, I recommend booking given its size. The first vegan bar in Alessandria presents itself very well. The interior is meticulously designed, and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. You can also purchase seasonal produce from nearby gardens. Great idea, something new was needed in the city.
