We enjoyed it very much. They offer also something small for kids and service was amazing. Our kid spilled water all over the table and waitress was there immediately to help us clean and even asked us if we need to change the plates etc. I’m glad we chose this place for lunch👍

¡Comida casera con ingredientes deliciosos! Se nota mucho que todo es fresco y cocinado al momento. La atención de 10, muy amables y atentos. Y el lugar precioso en esa plaza y con ese ambiente. Muy muy recomendable.

La comida deliciosa. Comida casera con muy buena calidad de alimentos. Hemos visitado el lugar dos veces porque nos ha gustado demasiado. La sopa de calabaza, la presa, las croquetas, el cazón rebosado, el lomo bajo, la ensalada de la temporada, todo espectacular. El servicio superior, muy amables todos. S nota que les agrada su negocio. Regresaré pronto. Tiene un bar muy acogedor.

Buena comida orgánica y fresca, hemos pedido un gazpacho muy suavecito, una tortilla de patatas con queso azul,croquetas de puchero, tiras de calamares con un alioli increíble y cazón, todo super rico,un tinto y nesty.Sobre el precio para el sitio en el que esta en pleno centro de Ronda,es logico dos perosnas 62€. El sitio es agradable con la terraza que tiene y la camarera es súper apaña y simpática. Un buen sitio para comer comida fresca y natural.

We randomly stopped at this restaurant and were absolutely delighted by every detail — especially the cleanliness and overall atmosphere. We had the best sangria and a truly delicious coffee, and we also ordered a shared meal which was excellent. The owner is incredibly sweet and has clearly thought of every little detail. The plates and tableware are beautiful, and the interior decor is charming and full of character. Highly recommended — such a lovely experience! 🥰🇪🇸

샐러드랑 크로켓 강추해요!!(먹다가 맛있어서 부랴부랴 사진찍음) 샐러드는 스페인와서 먹은 모든 음식을 통틀어도 제일 맛있었어요. 소스가 별거 없는 것 같은데, 석류랑 아보카도랑 야채들까지 조화가 잘된듯? 크로켓은 반만 시켰다가 크리미한게 특이해서 한접시 더 시켜먹었어요 ㅎㅎ 소볼살찜은 굉장히 싱거워서 오히려 소금 요청해서 좀 뿌려먹었습니다. 엄청 부드럽긴한데, 무슨맛인지 잘 모르겠네요. 저는 원래 간을 싱겁게 먹는 편인데, 여기는 짠게 하나도 없었구요.(샌딩투어하는 다른분들도 론다 식당은 다 짜지 않았다고하니, 싱겁게해달라고 요청을 안해도 될 것 같아요-한국인 참고) 붉은오렌지주스가 나왔길래 잘못나온줄 알고 오렌지 맞냐고했더니 블러드오렌지라서 그렇다고 얘기해주더라구요. 블러드오렌지주스도 맛있었어요!

We visited this restaurant tonight and had a really great diner. Terrace is at a nice location, a beautiful romantic square. I ordered the beef cheecks. Wow. Cooked to perfection, tender, full of flavour. A very high feelgood factor. Well accompanied by the purée, wich was also great. The right amount of salt and a really good structure, not fully pureed but left a bit chunky. Good and honest food. The service was good and fast. If we would stay any longer in Ronda I would definetly return.

High quality ingredients perfectly prepared to showcase the produce that got us salivating and raving! We tried the meatballs, patata bravas, spinach croquettes, presa iberico, beef cheeks and beef sirloin and topped it up with the cheesecake. All amazingly delicious. You feel and taste that everything is home made on the spot. Service is very kind and thoughtful. And prices are reasonable.

This is a gem in Ronda. The eggs with foi are amazing. We tried the carrillada and it was fantastic. I tried the puchero croquetas and they were awesome. Their service is great (they serve wirh love ans they speak French, English), nice ambience in front of a charm plaza ... highly recommended. I also recommend their sangría...

We came across this family run restaurant. They were honest, friendly, and happy! They had run out of items , because the food is outstanding, and our dish was taking extra time to be tender. We were asked if we wanted to order something else or wait. We chose to wait an extra 30-45 minutes and the meal was well worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We stopped in for a quick bite but got talking to the lady, who I assumed is is the owner, and we chatted about having a veggie garden as their veg comes from their own. The taste of the tomatoes was superb-juicy and sweet. The bread was delicious and we then ordered a tortilla. As we were not too hungry, she said she would make us a smaller one. She couldn’t have been more helpful and genuinely nice! I just read the 1-star review and I agree the chef is young, but cannot see why that is an issue! I am a tourist here so not leaving a review as a family or friend, just an honest one!

Hemos cenado aquí las dos noches que estuvimos en Ronda. Lo encontramos por casualidad huyendo de los restaurantes de tapas típicos para extranjeros y repetimos al día siguiente. Las croquetas de puchero están increíbles, las carrilleras súper blandas, el tomate de la huerta propia con mucho sabor. Todo estaba súper rico y los dueños son una familia. Me alegro de haber encontrado este restaurante, que por cierto, lleva abierto menos de un mes. Espero que les vaya bien.

It's our random choice after its high rating. We don't normally queue for food. La Merendera gave us extremely great impressive. We decided to wait for 30 mins. They are super busy but still deliver a warm and welcoming service. They didn't rush their guests to leave despite many customers were waiting for an available table. They serve quality food with reasonable price. Taste is just adequate and almost fine-dining experience. Give them a try if you happen to be in Rhonda. Thou, i hope that you can a table sooner.

We were in Ronda for 1 day & night on Sunday 5th October, beautiful location. Went to La Merendera for lunch, family run restaurant, Yann (chef & owner) talked us through menu options as my sister is gluten & wheat intolerant, he was happy to adapt to her needs. We ordered patatas bravas, meatballs, puchero croquettes, tomato salad, all ingredients are locally sourced from butcher, fishmonger, baker within walking distance, vegetables are home grown & all are prepared fresh for each order but delivered quickly and everything tasted amazing. The meatball sauce was divine 🫶We spoke with other diners, all greatly enjoying their meals, all empty plates returning to the kitchen. Great selection of wines - Yann happy to suggest what to pair with food choices. Everything was so delicious we returned for dinner, sirloin steak cooked to perfection 👌 Thank you to Yann, Crystal, Lola & Libby for making our stay in Ronda so special, the best food & ambience, we will definitely be back.

Me ha encantado comer , la comida era rica y con producto del bueno , unos ibéricos deliciosos y una carrillada tierna y sabrosa , los postres también y un bocata súper original que se llama ropa vieja . La Merendera.....restaurante situado en una de las mejores plazas de ronda. La comida es espectacular y el trato cercano y agradable. Estuvimos tan agusto que por la tarde fuimos a tomarnos el último café antes de regresar a casa.

La comida estaba riquísima y el trato de diez. Fueron amables y atentos en todo momento. Todo lo que probamos nos encantó, y las croquetas estaban muy buenas. Sin duda volveremos a repetir.

Excellent food - starters of spinach croquettes and green peppers. Really nice mains of chicken in a lemon sauce and beef cheeks. A shared dessert of cheesecake was delicious. Really nice staff also.

Wir haben heute im La Merenda zu Mittag gegessen. Leider kann ich die Begeisterung vieler Rezensenten nicht ganz teilen. Die beiden Vorspeisen waren in Ordnung, aber nicht außergewöhnlich. Enttäuschend war vor allem das Simmentaler Rindersteak: Es kam nur noch lauwarm an den Tisch und war zudem sehr zäh. Schade, denn aufgrund der guten Bewertungen hatten wir uns deutlich mehr erwartet.

Hideg steak, fele akkora mint a korábban, más által mellékelt videón és tele volt inakkal... A medium rare inkább medium well volt.

Looks like an amateur couple went on a holiday, loved the place (which I agree) and decided to open a restaurant. It was clearly only like three people ran the restaurant with a very young guy “acting” as chef. One of The female looked like she was helping the cook running back and forth to the store to buy ingredients to cook. The other female server was okay probably the best of the three. Mediocre patata bravas for 12 euro. Probably the 5 good reviews are from frds/family. I appreciate someone getting to start on their dreams but then don’t charge a fortune for potatoes.
