Fantastic spot for a quick hot lunch. Variety of dishes to choose from with an economical lunch menu. Service is fast. One of my favorite dishes is the garlic shrimp. It comes with a thick dark sauce and fried rice. The chef makes some of the best fried rice I've ever tasted! The launch crowd is mostly hard-working Americans. The hot and sour saucer soup is deliciously spicy. There is a dining area. It's family friendly. The bathrooms are wheelchair accessible.

Hands down the best Chinese restaurant I’ve tried in the Annapolis/arnold/Severna park area. Beef and broccoli was amazing, got sweet and sour chicken for the kids and tried a bite, absolutely delicious. Was skeptical about the place since we are very picky but this is going to be a once a week tradition for us going forward.

We absolutely love their food! Today we ordered carry out while it was pouring and one of the staff members walked me to the car carrying an umbrella for me. It was so above and beyond and just had to share. Thank you guys!

Very friendly and Good food. My first time coming here and I liked it. The chow mein is good and the General Tso Chicken is Great! And the prices you can't beat around here!

We’ve been on a 3-year quest for good (*Americanized*) Chinese food and had settled on another local place that was decent, but nothing spectacular. Not to mention that the portion sizes were shrinking right before our eyes. The portions at Hong Kong Restaurant blow the other place out of the water *and* they are less expensive. That, topped off by the fact that the food was absolutely delicious? We have our new go-to for sure.

Delicious, as always! Tons of great food, cooked fresh while I waited, for an AMAZING price! Went yesterday for carryout dinner for my birthday. They even threw in extra egg rolls!!!!! Best Chinese delivery place around!

First time. I was starving, and the food was done in under 15 min. I ordered sesame chicken (5 stars), s&s chicken, fries (VERY yum), jumbo fried shrimp (awesome), and last but certainly not least the best crab rangoon/wontons ever. The lady was friendly, and another patron assured us its always awesome. She knew what he wanted when he walked in. SO glad i am within a few minutes drive time.

Hong Kong is the absolute best Chinese food in and around Annapolis! I have been going here for years and I feel bad because I should have wrote a review along time ago, but I also know they are already swamped with customers but the tiny wait if there is one is so worth it All of their food is fresh, delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff is wonderful and always smiling.

Good enough for a convenient lunch but there are definitely better Chinese restaurants for food quality. Also the fried rice is more like brown rice.

Not your gourmet Chinese restaurant, but good food and excellent quantities at a reasonable price

Our usual restaurant had closed so we tho8ght we would try the next closest place. Our carry-out order consisted of chicken, pork, and shrimp fries rice. Service was pleasant and the food was ready in less than 15 minutes. The fried rice was a bit bland as was the meat in all types we ordered. Unsure if we will try again.

This place is a nice little gem with great prices and great food. I am visiting family in the area and wanted to treat them to dinner. Their menu has a variety of everything. I compared 2 other Chinese style restaurant's and the selection and prices could not be beat. The food was very good, great portions . I appreciate the Google Reviews to help me decide. You can't go wrong.

Traveling to China many times, I don't expect people at Chinese restaurants to kiss my butt with kindness. I just expect good food, and I that's what I get every time I go here. Although I do stick to a few main options (their pricier dishes), I do understand some people's complaints that everything that they make isn't perfect. As with any place, you have to find what they make the best. The problem with Chinese food places, is that they have 3,000 things on the menu with no description or picture. So, good luck. All in all, a good place if you know what to order, and try the spicy tofu mmhh.

Quick cheap Chinese, exactly what I wanted. Not bad at all. The service was friendly. We were hungry after a long day of class and studying and this place came in clutch

Quick turn around and friendly. Rice was good, dumplings were okay, but the chicken is mostly filler. Overall experience was okay at a good price. However there is a credit card minimum of $10

Chicken neck meat. First time I’ve eaten here and I ordered the chicken lo mein combo, cream cheese wontons and egg drop soup. When I opened the bag at home I realized I didn’t receive the soup. I decided to try the food before I called to see if I had left it there by accident. The “chicken” in the chicken lo mein is gelatinous, fatty, small pieces that did not taste like any chicken I’ve ever had. I immediately called the restaurant to inquire about my soup and what sort of chicken they used in the noodles. This is the first time in my life I’ve called to ask a restaurant that. I get that other cultures or places use different cuts of meat, many unusual or barely used, but I genuinely have never had this before and I’m grateful for that. It was horrible. The woman who answered was nice and she simply forgot my soup so at least I didn’t get charged. No big deal, I can do without. But this chicken all through my noodles that I’ve waited a month to eat on my cheat day? It’s chicken neck meat apparently. You have to request white meat. Sigh. I picked out as much as I could and dug in. The noodles and pork fried rice have a charred, high heat, grilled flavor that was pretty good. That’s...really the only thing that’s different from any other Chinese take out place I’ve been too. The wontons were crispy but they were also chewy, like they were quickly refried after sitting out for a few hours. The “crab” cream cheese filling was almost nonexistent, but what little was in there was standard tasting. The sweet and sour sauce was good, I’ve tried some places where they messed it up (how..?), but this place was ok. The egg roll was extra crispy, which I actually liked because of the crunch, but it was also standard fare. I knew going in that I would probably be getting basic Chinese takeout, but the chicken neck meat ruined the meal for me. The charred flavor on the rice and noodles brought it up from two to three stars. If my fortune cookie is stale then I will downgrade later to a two. That’s a deal breaker. Also? Ask for chopsticks. They don’t come in the bag automatically.

I only received four of the five things I ordered. Then the sweet and sour chicken had no flavor. The sauce had zero flavor. The Kung Pao I ordered, seems to be a different dish, with more celery & baby corn veggies than chicken and it was very 142057spicy. We ordered the General Tso's spicy and it was zero spice. All in all not good.

Atmosphere is fine for a takeout 🥡. Food is not good. Rice seemed old, and way too much, and very little of the ordered product. I’m not going back.

Not recommended at all. I called them to ask if they delivered. I was told no and hung up on. I called back and asked it they did carry out and was able to place an order. The food is cheap, for good reason. They also don't take credit cards. The Wanton soup broth was a uncomfortable shade of what I can only describe as the color of anti freeze. The Egg rolls tasted like cinnamon, never a good sign with Chinese food. After one bite they all went in the trash. The General Tso's & Hunan Chicken were both very bland. We threw it all out and had a frozen pizza instead.
