Marion at the Burger King on Oxmoor Road in Homewood was amazing! She was super sweet, very professional, and also kept it lighthearted with her sense of humor. Both of the sandwiches I got were warm but not hot. They both tasted good as could be expected from Burger King. The restaurant itself was in dis repair old outdated not very kept up or picked up of trash in the bathrooms and parking lot. Staff was doing the job , just took them a minute to acknowledge me.
I placed a mobile order to be ready at 4:25. When I got to the drive thru I was asked to wait, even though the drive thru was empty and the parking lot empty. The drive thru screen and menus are in disrepair. I was told they didn’t have an order for me. I pulled up my order to confirm I was at the right place. Then they found my order. According to the young man, I had to open the order back up for it to show up on their screen. That’s not what the app said. Anyway…. I was asked to pull up as my pie was cooking. I waited 15 minutes and had a lady walk out with my bag. I informed her there was a drink with the order. She looked annoyed but did come back out promptly with a drink and a smile. The burger was DELICIOUS and made to order. The fries were supposed to be half fries/half onion rings. I got all fries. The drink was non carbonated or flavored correctly: likely an issue with the machine. I enjoyed the food but I won’t be back to this location.
Food was okay, but over cooked. The ice cream machine was down, the frozen drink machine was empty, there was no napkins or ketchup in the lobby, half of the drinks were out of syrup and it took about 30 minutes to get the food after ordered.
This one was rough! The bathroom door was held on with paper... Literally, they still have their Halloween menu posted... In January. The drinkachine had no ice, it was a mess.
I was given a torn of piece of brown paper towel as a napkin. I told the lady in drive thru not put salt on my fries. Salt was put on my fries anyway.
If you don't have the item, cancel the order in your system. And inform the customer if they are waiting. Such a ride behavior of the staff.
The slowest fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to, it literally takes over 30min just to get your food, I have hr lunches and by the time I got my food I had 15min left! And they don’t put napkins in your bag sometimes! They either need a whole new team or more workers because it’s sad at this point..
I dont who give reviews but this place is not even close to a 3.0 I was there today one car at the window the employee told me to hold twice I'm like is he cooking and doing everything buy himself I left.They build a new building and service get worse a building does not make service better it's a manager and good employees that want to work.This use to be one of the best Burger King's. Hands down worst bk I've been to in a big minute. Waited in drive thru for 10 minutes at the drive thru speaker. Never got a answer. Finally walked inside to see then all just sitting around on there phones
Disgusting. No soap or TP in the women’s bathroom. Bathroom was repulsive. Do the women employees wash their hands here? Order took 20 mins. Fast food? I have to eat this bc I’m in a terrible rush to meet movers otherwise I’d be getting a refund and not risking food poisoning. Health department should shut you down. Only employee worth anything was Isaiah. Thanks so much to him.
Not a good location if you can skip , go ahead and do that went here and about 8:30 this morning and they had the doors locked and wouldn’t answer the speakers , which sucks because I had a previous experience here where I was picking up two whoppers took the girl with green hair about an hour to gather two whoppers and I personally think she was high 🍃 and her manager on duty was no help at all also , I just hate it for the owners so many fast food chains go down hill when you have the wrong people working for your business . I’m back on 10/06/25 I asked for sweet tea look what I got 😐 let’s not forget he gave me unsweetened the first time and then said we gotta make some how about SAY THAT , food presentation? HORRIBLE
This place is laughable. This has to be the worst BK in Bham lol. Went to the drive thru, waited 5 minutes, decided to go in … of course all of the workers were standing against the counter, on their phones , get to the counter and they don’t have fries ? Understandable but geez. 10 extra minutes for 1 burger??? If it was up to me I would’ve been left but my brother wanted that burger so bad. And it was hot and fresh but do better. I give it 3-5 months if they don’t get a new crew it’s going to be shut down.
I'm not sure when Burger King started scooping up already cooked onion rings and refusing them for a minute to heat them up again but please stop it's disgusting. I literally watched the employee do it. I will NEVER return again for that reason.
Whoever the Lady in the morning is very rude at that window. Slung food to atleast two customers. Should be moved to evening or nights she’s obviously not a morning person. The guy cook was okay. It was just food he had spilled over floor and didn’t even try to pick it up
Dear Burger King Support, I’m writing to share a very disappointing experience I had after placing an online order at one of your locations. I arrived at the store 12 minutes after placing my order, expecting it to be ready or nearly ready. Instead, I was told it wasn’t prepared yet and had to wait another 30 minutes. When I finally received the food, it wasn’t hot—just barely warm—which was frustrating, especially given the wait. I assumed the delay was due to the food being freshly prepared, but that clearly wasn’t the case. To make matters worse, I noticed that the pickles I paid extra for ($0.10) were missing from my chicken sandwich. When I asked for a refund, the employee at the window yelled at me and claimed she didn’t know how to process one. Instead of seeking help or contacting a manager, she slammed the window in my face. This behavior is completely unacceptable. I work in customer service myself, and I know how important it is to treat customers with respect, even when things go wrong. Fortunately, I was eventually able to speak with a manager who apologized and assured me she would address the issue. I gave her my name and number for follow-up. However, not long after returning to work, I received a call from another manager identifying herself as the GM. She asked me what had happened—something I had already clearly explained in person. It felt like the left hand didn’t know what the right hand was doing. Overall, the experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and a waste of my lunch break. Burger King needs to do a better job hiring and training staff—especially when it comes to handling customer concerns and maintaining basic service standards.
Laughable. They give you 1/4 the bacon and eggs pictured. A complete ripoff. Eggs hard. Couldn't order from the inside. Two workers went in dumpster area and closed the door. Burger king doesn't care how improper they restaurants being run and they not serving what's on the advertisement. Rip off
I’m a truck driver! Stayed the weekend in my truck Burger King was supposed to be a savior! Instead I got cold food and attitudes! This was my first visit second visit was dinner at night. I went in and apparently they just locked the doors or were walking towards the doors I got in. I was in line. The lady turned around and looked at me and gave me an attitude and said we are closed inside you have to go around. I explained I was in my 18 wheeler doing a delivery and needed just to get dinner real quick and.again she told me no and that I needed to leave! Wow no compassion at all so I left and didn’t eat anything for dinner. Next morning I went in to get breakfast again more cold hashbrowns a sandwich that was hard as a.rock been in there for a while it seems along with the pile of them and then cold coffee with it. I will never go to this Burger King again if I can help it.
I am honestly not sure if anyone works here. Tried to order. Went inside. The employees just don't seem to care. There was one employee at the register for the drive through and inside and one person making all the food for the whole restaurant. The drive through speaker was broken. Our order was incorrect.
